I was looking forward to the dinner cruise, but unfortunately, it rained on the day! I had reserved a window seat to see the sunset, so my mood was a bit down. Before we set sail, I was resentfully staring at the foggy glass windows wet from the rain.

As the boat started moving, the crew quickly cleaned the water droplets from the windows, revealing the stunning night view of Waikiki Beach. Although I couldn't see the sunset, the scenery was still satisfying.

The meal featured an all-you-can-eat crab, and without even having to ask for more, they came around to our table and piled our plates high. It’s no problem at all if you're not good at English conversation. I was completely satisfied after filling my stomach with steak and crab.

As the meal progressed, beautiful ladies and strong gentlemen performed hula and Polynesian dances. The dance up close was truly impressive.

As the boat headed back to the harbor and the cruise was nearing its end, the crew started inviting guests to dance along with them. At first, the Japanese guests hesitated and declined, but when cheerful guests from America and New Zealand began dancing, about 80% of the guests stood up and joined in. It had been a quarter of a century since I last went to a disco (is that an old expression?). When YMCA started playing, it brought back memories, and I lost myself in the dance.

楽しみにしていたディナークルーズでしたが、当日は生憎の雨！　サンセットを見るため窓際の席を予約していたので気分も落ち込んでいました。　出航前は雨に濡れて曇ったガラス窓を恨めしく眺めていました。
船が動き出すと間もなく乗員が窓の水滴を掃除してくれ、ワイキキの浜辺の素晴らしい夜景が浮かんできました。夕焼け空は見れませんでしたが、納得の風景でした。
食事はカニ食べ放題で、追加を頼まなくても客席を回って皿の上に山ほど置いていってくれます。英会話が苦手でも全然問題ありません。お腹いっぱい、ステーキとカニをお腹に入れて大満足。
食事も後半になると、綺麗なお姉さんや逞しいお兄さんがフラやポリネシアンダンスを披露してくます。間近で見るダンスは迫力十分でした。
船が港に向かい、クルーズも終盤になるころにはお客さんに声をかけて一緒に踊り始めました。最初、日本人は遠慮がちに拒絶してましたが、アメリカやニュージーランドの陽気な方が率先して踊り始めると８０％のお客さんが立ち上がり一緒に踊り始めました。ディスコ（古い表現ですか？）に行っていたのは四半世紀も前のこと。当時を思い出すようなYMCAなんて流れてきて、我を忘れて踊っていました。

It's a shame that the sunset couldn't be called the best due to bad weather from the rain, but afterwards the clouds cleared and we were able to see the beautiful night view of Honolulu. On the floor, we could enjoy the Hawaiian atmosphere, and dancing together was fun. Above all, I was happy that my family enjoyed it.

Setting sail at dusk allows for a fulfilling daytime experience. There’s a welcome dance performance, and as soon as you take your seat, a welcome drink is served. After departure, you can enjoy various activities in the venue and on the deck. The food may not have a wide variety, but it's hearty and there's plenty of time to enjoy it! The sunset is stunning, and the night view afterward is incredibly beautiful! Various events are prepared throughout the time, and moving between floors lets you sneak a peek at performances from other classes, plus there are plenty of photo spots. The crew is friendly and readily accommodates photo requests, and the atmosphere is quite inviting, making it easy to participate in the performances. By the time we return to the port, we were exhausted! (laughs)

I was thrilled to see the whale right in front of me. However, the rocking of the boat was severe, and my whole family got seasick. That was disappointing. I almost got seasick for the first time myself, so it might have been a bit tough for the kids.

The family trip with 10 adults and 3 children was a wonderful memory for my brother, sister's family, and our parents in their 80s, especially since it was their first trip to Hawaii. Even though we didn't have a window seat, we could see the beautiful sunset, and during dinner while watching the hula show, we enjoyed an all-you-can-eat crab that was very delicious and full of meat. On the way there, we took a shared bus from the hotel, but it was nice to be driven back to the hotel in a private car.

Let me start off by saying I NEVER post reviews...which I need to work on because I am always checking them out before I do/buy things. This was my boyfriend & I first trip to Hawaii so we were very excited! We chose the Five Star package because of the jazz music (we attended a luau the night before & did not want to have the same theme).

They picked us up from our hotel at 4:30 pm. From the very beginning we were treated like VIP. We were led to the top deck to have champagne & o'dourves with the captain. We also got to take a professional pic with the captain, which was cool. After that, we were led to our seat inside the ship. We had a window seat & loved it. We were a little worried about getting seasick, but it wasn't a problem. I was a little concerned about the food at first because neither one of us are into fancy food, but it was pretty good (as stated before we chose that package specifically for the music). Instead of the lobster we chose a stuffed chicken option which was my favorite! For our steak entree we asked that it was cooked well done & it was the most tender steak ever! Throughout the dinner you can step outside as you please to feel the breeze, take in the views, & take pics.

The ambiance was beautiful! There was a live pianist, saxophonist/flutist, & singer. They were great! In the end they gave us the photo we took with the captain in a nice album cover with a pic of the ship on the water. Also, all of the ladies were given a rose. The only thing I WISH I would have did was asked for another copy of the photo so my boyfriend & I can both have one :-( I didn't even think about it until we returned back to our home state. I called 3 days later to see if we could get a copy; they sent an email to the photo dept. but almost 2 weeks later & I still haven't heard anything.

Overall, I highly recommend! This is perfect for a romantic date night! The cruise lasted about 2 hrs. This was a great way to end our trip in Hawaii.

From the start this cruise was amazing, We checked in and got the royal treatment. Escorted to the upper deck where we were greeted by the captain and offered snacks and drinks. We were then seated and bring on the food, every dish was great. Brandon our server was great, he mad sure everything was to our satisfaction. The maitre d came and got us just before sunset and took us out on deck where the Captain was waiting and we renewed our vows. It was very romantic. I would do this again.

The pickup at the Hyatt at 4:30 PM was very crowded, so I had my elderly parents sit down and boarded the bus last. After walking a bit from the bus to the boat, almost all the seats were filled, but we were able to sit at a spacious table next to the dancers, which was convenient since the restroom was nearby. It would have been difficult for my mother, who has trouble with her legs, if we had been seated in the middle.

The lobster was delicious, and my parents were happy. We chose Friday for the fireworks, but it was unfortunate that they were canceled due to strong winds. However, we were satisfied because we could see the sunset and the night view from the sea.

On the way back, we joined a tour that stopped at Tantalus, but the Japanese driver was a bit too talkative, and everyone seemed a bit uncomfortable. Also, I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes during the brief 10 minutes for photos at Tantalus, so it would be better to bring insect repellent. Since this was the last shuttle ride, I was worried because my mother, who has difficulty moving, was seated far away from me. It seems that we can’t expect much consideration in such cases, so it’s best to arrive early.

A three-star rating is casual, yet you can still enjoy a course meal, making it a recommended class for those who are concerned about table manners, dislike formality, or find buffets troublesome.

高齢の両親を座らせて最後にバスに乗りました。
バスから少し歩いて船まで行くと、ほぼびっしり席が埋まっていて
ダンサー脇の広いテーブルに座れ、トイレも近く助かりました。
母が足が悪いので真ん中の席だと大変だったので。

料理はロブスターも美味しく、両親も喜んでいました。
花火目当てに金曜にしたのですが、風が強く中止だったのは
残念でしたが仕方ないですね。
でもサンセットから夜景まで海から見られたので満足。

帰りにタンタラスへ寄るツアーにしたのですが、日系の
ドライバーさんが少々話がしつこく、皆さん閉口してました。
またタンタラスでの写真撮影のほんの１０分でたくさん蚊に
刺されましたので虫除けをして行った方が良さそうです。
またこの乗合シャトルで乗るのが最後最後だったので
肢の悪い母と席が離れてしまって心配でした。
そういった配慮は期待できないので、早めに行くしかないようです。

３スターだとカジュアルで、なおかつ一応コース料理が楽しめるので
テーブルマナーが心配な方や、堅苦しいのが嫌な方、ビュッフェが
面倒な方などにはオススメのクラスのようです。

I think this is the perfect tour for anniversaries. I definitely recommend it for honeymooners. During the meal, I was moved by the sunset. After the sun went down, I was again touched by the night view of Waikiki! To top it off, we watched a show, and it was a satisfying cruise.

If you're bringing your wife or girlfriend, this is definitely a must-do! They will be very pleased if it's for a special occasion, and I recommend spending a bit more to participate in the five-star experience! Also, I recommend joining on a Friday! On Fridays, you can see the Hilton's famous fireworks.

My wife and I participated together. We joined without much expectation, but a humpback whale jumped right in front of us!! It was so exciting to see the tail slapping the surface of the water, and the dynamic jumps called breaching using its pectoral fins, just like we often see on TV!! How can you not be thrilled by this!!! The staff also said, "very very lucky!!" and were excited. It was a great tour.

We visited Hawaii for a wedding and chose a cruise as a gift for both sets of parents. I was worried since it was just the parents and there were concerns about the meals, but I felt very reassured by the polite responses to my inquiries via email.

The couple themselves said, "It was truly a wonderful cruise," and they were very moved. They even bought a photo that cost $30, which they normally wouldn't do (laughs). This time, we participated with 9 adults and 1 child aged 6, so I thought a buffet style at Pacific Star would be more casual and suitable.

The sunset and night views from the ship were truly beautiful. Even though the child was getting tired and sleepy, seeing the outside scenery while feeling the wind seemed to wake them up, and they were excitedly exploring the deck of the ship.

もう少し、料理のことをよく考えてコースを選ぶべきだったかなと思いました。
お子様ランチのようなものが選択できると、安心だったなと感じました。
