It was my first cruise experience. I was worried about the dress code, but as expected for a resort area, it seemed fine as long as you weren't dressed too casually. As everyone else has mentioned, I was very satisfied with the lobster! The staff did a great job preparing it. The only downside was the speed of the drinks! The welcome drink arrived around the time I finished my appetizer (laughs). Also, since I had tickets for two drinks, I ordered some, but they took a long time to arrive, so I couldn't finish them and ended up leaving some behind. Other than that, I was very satisfied!

First, we were welcomed with a dance before boarding. After boarding, we took our seats and waited for the meal to be served. It seemed like the food was served in order from the window seats, which made it a bit frustrating not knowing when it would arrive depending on our location.

Regarding the all-you-can-eat crab, they brought plenty of crab legs. The macadamia nut ice cream and Kona coffee were delicious.

It was quite crowded, giving off a cafeteria vibe. In between meals, there was a music concert.

After the meal, the venue was used for a dance performance, and it eventually turned into a disco.

With music, a cruise, and dinner... it felt like each element was packed in just a little bit, making for a rich experience. Overall, I think I enjoyed it.

I don't think it's suited for those seeking romance, luxury, or tranquility. Rather, I felt it was more for those looking for fun, a lively atmosphere, and good value for money.

This was my first time on the Star of Honolulu. Since I was with my 1-year and 4-month-old child, I made a reservation for the buffet course. I was worried that my child might get bored and make noise, but the entire crew was really kind, and I didn't have any issues at all. The food was decent, and the hula dance show was enjoyable. My child danced along, enjoyed the scenery, and chatted with the crew, making it a fulfilling sunset cruise.

I think the buffet course is recommended for those who want to enjoy themselves without pretense! For those who prefer a quieter dinner, perhaps a higher-tier course would be better. I wore a muumuu to enjoy the atmosphere, but it seemed like you could participate even without one.

By the way, I drove to Aloha Tower and parked in a lot, which only cost about $6, making it feel convenient. If you're renting a car, I think meeting at the location is a good deal.

I was unsure how it would go with a child, but I think it was even more fun because I had my child with me. I encourage anyone who thinks a dinner cruise is impossible with kids to definitely participate.

I would love to join again the next time I go to Hawaii.

子供も一緒に踊ったり、景色をみたり、クルーの方とおしゃべりしたりと充実したサンセットクルーズになりました。
気取らず楽しみたい方にはバイキングのコースが、お薦めかと思います！
静かにディナーをされたい方は、ワンランク、ツーランク上のコースが良いのかな？と思います。服装は雰囲気を楽しみたかったので、ムームーを着ましたが、ムームーじゃなくても参加できるようでした。


ちなみにアロハタワーまでレンタカーで行き、駐車場に車を止めましたが、駐車場代は6ドルくらいで安く、便利に感じました。
レンタカーを借りられている方なら、現地集合がお得だと思います

子連れでどうなるかと思っていたのですが、子連れだったからこそ、更に楽しかったかな？とも思うので、子連れだからディナークルーズなんて無理！と思っている方にも是非参加してもらいたいです。

またハワイに行った際には参加したいと思います

Last year, I went for an all-you-can-eat crab. This year, it was a buffet style with roast beef! They cut it right in front of me, and it was delicious. The cruise was around Waikiki and Diamond Head!! I was even able to see a rainbow. And the main event, the sunset, was beautiful!! Now, the real fun begins. It's not a formal cruise; it feels more like a live house on the ship! The service is friendly and kind, but the servers don't understand Japanese, so you'll need to speak at least a little English.
