While I was signing the consent form and choosing a helmet, a video about how to handle the horses and safety precautions was playing, so I couldn't watch it much, and since it was my first time riding, I felt very anxious.

I thought I would be able to ride along the beach of Kaneohe Bay as shown in the pictures, but I could only see it from a great distance. Also, it mentioned, "You must have seen that famous tree from the 'What tree is that?' commercial," and I thought I would be able to see that big tree, but I couldn't. (I also couldn't find the monkey pod tree.)

The riding itself was a bit nerve-wracking at first, but the horse was very cute and I had a lot of fun. ^_^ Other people's horses had some unexpected moments, like stopping to eat grass or going to the bathroom. I would love to visit again if I have the chance.

乗馬自体は初めは緊張しましたが、お馬さんがとても可愛く楽しかったです^_^
他の方のお馬さんは、途中で道草を食べたり、うんちやおしっこをしたりハプニングがありました。
また機会があれば訪れたいです。

I finally got to try skydiving in Hawaii, which was my number one thing to do! My partner, who can't even ride roller coasters, smiled and said this was something completely different—it was amazing!

We took a bus around 4:30 AM and spent about an hour on the ride while filling out consent forms. After arriving, we received a 10-minute briefing and waited about 20 to 30 minutes before being called by our assigned instructor.
*There was a food truck selling light snacks for breakfast, but since it was a one-person operation, there was quite a wait.

We received a briefing from the instructor about the dive and what to do upon landing before boarding the Cessna. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the dive point. After that, you’ll just have to experience it for yourself!

By around 11 AM, we were back on the bus and arrived at the hotel before noon. I tipped the instructor $20 and the driver $10.

We participated in a 2-hour course without transportation for 5 people. Since taking the shuttle would mean a longer wait time, we drove there with a rental car. It takes about an hour from Waikiki. This time, we went to the outlet in the morning, so we arrived in less than an hour from there. Our start time was scheduled for 3 PM, but since we arrived early, they changed it to start at 2:30 PM. Kualoa has been the filming location for various movies, and both the mountains and the ocean offer stunning views. Three out of five people in our group went to Hawaii. I watched from below.

Since the pickup time was around 4 AM and two people weren't participating, we went by rental car instead of having a shuttle. We left around 6 AM.

It seemed the weather had been bad for the past few days, and many cancellations had occurred, but fortunately, we were able to depart right away without waiting.

We arrived at the point in about 15 minutes by plane and started diving one after another. The sound of the wind was so loud that it seems I jumped without hearing the count.

The observers asked about the color of the parachutes and watched as they came down.

It was amazing!! All three were very satisfied. However, one person said the parachute spun and made them feel unwell. They suggested telling them not to spin it before starting. One person said they saw a whale.

There are additional fees for photo and video shooting. One person was filming, and the editing was interesting and good. They started filming before we took off.

Afterward, there is a tip payment, so please remember to bring cash. It seems there are ATMs available as well. There are also lockers. If someone has trouble with their shoes coming off, they can lend you some.

ただパラシュートが回転して具合が悪かったそうです。始まる前に回さないでと伝えたらいいそうです。１人はクジラが見えたそうです。

写真撮影とビデオ撮影は別途有料であります。１人ビデオ撮影をしていましたが、編集も面白くてよかったです。飛ぶ前から撮影してました。

終わったらチップの支払いがあるので現金は忘れずに持参してください。ATMも設置してあるようでした。ロッカーなどもあるようです。

I finally fulfilled a long-time dream of mine: skydiving, which I did while accompanying my son on his graduation trip in Hawaii. The time flew by, but the view from the sky was breathtaking and magnificent, something I had never seen before. It was truly amazing. The moment of freefall was incredibly scary, though!

Since the Cessna flies backward against the direction of travel, those who are prone to motion sickness should definitely take anti-nausea medication. At Kualoa, you can also do ziplining, and I was torn between options, but I decided to book this one because it has a longer distance.

Upon arriving at the ranch, we split into groups of Japanese and non-Japanese to hear about the meeting place and time, and we had free time until then. Since it was raining heavily until departure, I thought about borrowing a raincoat, but it was too big and the rain was intermittent, so I ended up not borrowing one. Helmets are mandatory, and there were fewer small sizes available. Backpacks and one-shoulder bags are not allowed, but waist pouches are permitted. It seems you can borrow a saddlebag even if you don’t have a pouch. Before riding, we watched a video explanation and then it was time to ride. I thought the guide would lead us, but my friend's horse was allowed to go ahead because "this horse knows the way," which made for a very free-spirited ride! Thanks to that, we occasionally took the wrong path. Riding with a view of the ocean and progressing through the vast grasslands in the grand canyon was exhilarating. While trotting and cantering were prohibited, I really wanted to run because the scenery was that beautiful. We got caught in a little rain on the way back, but it dried quickly due to the dry weather. Since I had made an early reservation, I ate the sandwiches I brought until departure (food can also be obtained at the cafeteria), strolled around the ranch, and when I got on the bus to go back, I took a deep nap. It was the best day! If I had to mention one downside, it was that they said they would take pictures when dismounting, but they immediately led the horses back to the pasture, which was disappointing. 友人と2時間のジュラシックパークロケ地外乗に参加しました。出発はほぼ定刻で、外乗だけでなくバギーなどと一緒に大型バスで連れて行かれます。牧場に着くと日本人とそれ以外に分かれて集合場所や時間を聞き、時間まではフリー。出発まで強い雨が降っていたのでレインコートを借りようかと思いましたが、サイズが大きすぎるのと降ったり止んだりだったので結局借りず。ヘルメットは必須で、小さいサイズは少なめでした。リュックサックやワンショルダーバッグはNG、ウェストポーチは持ち込みOKです。ポーチが無くてもサドルバッグを借りられるようです。騎乗前にビデオで説明を見て、いざ騎乗。ガイドさんが先導してくれるものと思っていたら、この馬はわかってるから〜と友人が乗る馬に先頭を行かせるというフリーダム！な外乗でした。おかげでたまに道を間違えましたが。馬上から海を臨み、雄大な渓谷の中の草原を進むのは爽快です。速歩・駈歩は禁止ですが、これは走りたいですねー。それくらい気持ちがいい景色でした。帰りに少し雨に降られましたが、乾燥しているせいですぐに乾きました。早い時間で予約していたので、出発まで持ち込んだサンドイッチを食べたり(食料はカフェテリアがあるのでそこでも調達可能)、牧場内をブラブラして帰りにバスに乗り込んだらぐっすり昼寝。最高の1日でした！強いて言うなら下馬時に写真撮ってあげる！と言われていたのですがすぐに馬を放牧場に流してしまったのが残念。写真を撮りたい方はしっかりアピールした方がいいと思います。

Waking up at 3:00 AM and departing after 4:00 AM was tough, but overall it was a satisfying tour. The breakfast we had in the local camper was cheap and delicious. The guide and the local instructor were kind, and we were able to enjoy a pleasant time throughout.

From late February to early March, the weather was bad from the first day of our trip, with strong winds and intermittent rain. We had booked an afternoon session, but on the day of, we received a call in our hotel room from a Japanese person with disappointing news: the session was canceled due to bad weather. They informed us that we would receive a full refund and encouraged us to rebook via email if we had other dates available, so I quickly made a reservation for two days later. I hesitated about the timing since it was early, but I wanted to see the sunrise, so I changed to the first morning session.

On the day, we were picked up at 4:40 AM and headed to a location about a 10-minute walk away, where two small buses were waiting. The driver who greeted us was a foreign woman. I was a bit nervous about meeting the famous "local uncle" mentioned in reviews, but then I was taken to another bus where the driver was a male foreigner. After giving my name, I was handed a waiver and received a brief explanation in English before entering.

Once there, we received instructions from a middle-aged man who spoke Japanese. He said that copies of our passport and voucher were fine. He checked for any missing information and was very helpful, even sharing jokes. There was a need for coins for the lockers, and there was a change machine, so I made sure to have some quarters or a dollar bill for tips and photo payments, which I put on my card. We waited until our names were called, and while taking photos and exchanging money, we were quickly called up.

I met the instructor and the camerawoman, who was a veteran. They didn't speak Japanese. After receiving a very simple explanation again, we put on our gear and filmed an interview video with my husband, then waited for the Cessna!

Once we boarded, we headed straight up into the sky. I had heard it would be cold, but I wanted to embrace the Hawaiian vibe, so I wore a short-sleeved shirt, and it turned out to be fine! However, while waiting, a long-sleeved shirt would have been necessary. It took about 10 minutes to reach altitude, and I was so mesmerized by the scenery that I didn't feel scared.

We all made our final preparations, and one by one, the people sitting in the front started to jump. I was one of the last, so I watched them go. When it was my turn, I jumped with two others. It was so intense that I couldn't focus on the scenery. The camerawoman had us do various poses, and I tried my best to mimic them. Before I knew it, the free fall was over, and once the parachute opened, I could enjoy the view. It was a surreal feeling, and I even got to steer the parachute.

The parachute made me feel quite nauseous, so motion sickness medication is definitely necessary. すぐに２日後に予約しました。時間も、早いので悩んだのですが朝日が見たくて朝一の方に変更しました。
そして、当日朝の4:40ピックアップで徒歩10分くらいのところへ向かうと小型バスが2台。
声をかけたドライバーさんは外国人女性でした。
口コミを見ていて名物おじさんと言う方にドキドキしていたのでホッとしていたらもう一つのバスに連れて行かれました。ドライバーさんは男性外国人でした。
名前を伝えると誓約書を渡され、適当に英語で説明され、中へ入ります。
誓約書は少しわかりにくい日本語です。
車の中は絶対酔う！って感じの甘い匂いでゾッとしました。酔い止めすぐ飲みました。他の方が来るまで時間があったので止まってる間に記入しましたがわかりにくいので時間かかりますし、怖いことがたくさん書いてます。全部読んでません。何箇所か参加者を拾っていき、車内では誓約書の内容のようなビデオと説明を見ます。今から怖いとこへ向かうようなビデオです。。猛スピードで1時間ほどでつきます。びっくりするほどの快晴！着いたら日本人なのかな？日本語話せる男性から説明を受けます。
中年の男性でした。パスポート、バウチャーはコピーでokです。写真の説明、記入漏れのチェック、わからなければ何でも教えてくださいます。ジョークも交えて楽しい方でした。ロッカーで小銭が必要で両替機もありますので25セント4枚か1ドル札、チップ代、写真支払いはカードにしたのでカード、あと少し多めに待ち時間が多いことを考え、現金があれば大丈夫でした。名前が呼ばれるまで待ちます。写真を撮ったり両替していたらすぐに呼ばれました。
インストラクター、カメラマンと対面です。ベテランな感じのおじさん、カメラマンは女性でした。日本語通じません。
簡単すぎる説明を改めて受け、装備を付けて旦那と一緒にインタビュー動画を撮り、あとはセスナ待ち！
着いたら乗り込みます。すぐに上空へ向かいます。寒いと聞いてましたがハワイらしさを少しでも出したく半袖で行きましたが寒さなんかないです！ただ、待ってる間は長袖必要です。
10分程で着きます。景色に夢中で恐怖感はありませんでした。
みんなで最終準備をして、一番前に座ってる人からポンポン落ちていきます。私は最後の方でしたので見送ってました。そして自分の番が来て、３人で落ちます。
苦しすぎて景色どころではありませんでした。
カメラマンがいろんなポーズをしてくるので頑張って真似して撮ってもらいます。あっという間にフリーフォールが終わり、パラシュートを開くと景色が楽しめます。不思議な感覚でした。操縦もさせてもらいました。
パラシュートがかなり酔うので絶対酔い止めいります。
地上に着いたらインタビュー動画を撮り、チップの説明を受け、撮ってもらった動画、写真をチェックして、欲しい方を購入します。高いですが私たちは両方にしました。USBかAirDropどちらかでもらえます。朝日が綺麗で、地球が丸いって感じられる写真、動画で感動しました。顔の写りは置いといて。。
トータル8万くらいはかかりましたが満足です。
そして少しすると名前が呼ばれてバスへ乗り込み、ホテルへは9:30頃には着いていましたのでよかったです。
帰りに行きと同じドライバーさんへチップを渡します。若い女の子2人組がチップを渡さず帰っていくと
呆れた顔でその子達を見つめていましたので、渡した方がいいかと思います。
普段は高所恐怖症ですがこれは別物でした。
命がけですが、私達夫婦はやってよかった！って感じでした。見たことのない、経験したことのないものです。運が良かったのか優しい日本語話せる男性でしたし、気にかけて声もたくさんかけてくださり、最初から色んな話をしてくださり、また来てね、と言うような感じでしたのでトータルで満足です。

敷地内で時間を潰せるものは殆どありませんでした。送迎付きで予約する場合、帰りのバスまでの待ち時間がどのくらいになるかを考えて予約した方が良さそうです。

Riding on a horse amidst the overwhelming scenery was very pleasant. Moreover, it was a great point that I could see not only the mountains but also the beautiful ocean. I participated in the two-hour course, but it was a bit tough for someone who doesn't exercise much since there were no breaks along the way. However, the view from the back of the cute horse and seeing my family was the best!

It was the most fun activity I've experienced in Hawaii so far! (Personally) There was one staff member who spoke Japanese and was very friendly. The rest of the staff primarily spoke English, and all explanations were in English, but they communicated well with gestures, so it was not a problem at all! There were lockers and transportation available, which was great! There is a set pickup time, but there was a slight delay (typical overseas timing), but they do come to pick you up, so it's all good! If you're worried, it might be a good idea to call.

When I inquired during the application process, I was told there would be no Japanese staff on-site, which made me anxious. However, there were Japanese versions of the consent forms available. The driver for the transfer was kind, and although the local staff explained things in English, I managed to get by (laughs). I thought I could just mimic the other participants for how to ride, and I ended up skiing last every time. It became a wonderful memory.

The moment I jumped out of the Cessna was thrilling. It felt amazing while falling, it was the best! However, since I get motion sickness, I felt nauseous after the parachute opened, so I couldn't enjoy the scenery much and missed the ground.
