The kayaking was just under an hour on the river. The stops along the bus route included a coconut farm, a fruit stand (a roadside shop), and a shopping mall (single-story). We bought a papaya for $4 at the fruit stand (it was perfectly ripe and very delicious when we ate it at the hotel), and we had Matsumoto's shaved ice at the shopping mall. We had plenty of time and enjoyed ourselves.

I checked in at 9:30 for my 10:00 reservation and boarded the boat as soon as the previous group returned. There were two crew members and ten passengers. Right after boarding, we put on life jackets and seat belts, and took turns jumping. I was nervous until we took off, but once we were in the air, the sound of the wind was pleasant, and the blue of the sky and sea was beautiful. It was amazing to see Diamond Head and Waikiki from the ocean side.
