We gathered locally and took the bus. We went from the hotel to Ala Moana Center, transferred to bus number 52, and I made sure to tell the driver "Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor" to confirm where to get off, arriving just in time for our meeting. We waited quite a while for the bus at Ala Moana Center. There was only one other group of Japanese people besides us, and everyone else on the boat was foreign, making it quite international. As I saw on Alan Net, we were handed a file with notes written in Japanese, but all the explanations were in English. However, they demonstrated how to enter the water with gestures, so if you watch, you can manage. We moved out to sea for about 10 to 15 minutes, and the waves were quite rough. I get motion sickness easily, and even though I took motion sickness medicine, I still felt quite nauseous. We entered the cage four at a time. I was really looking forward to it, so even though I felt unwell, I stayed underwater longer than others, hoping to finally see a shark. Unfortunately, while there were a few small fish nearby, I only caught a glimpse of a small baby shark passing by far below, and I hardly saw any sharks at all, so I ended up getting a sticker and a refund... But the staff were very nice, so I definitely plan to try again next time. On the way back, we strolled around Haleiwa before heading home.

沖まで10分~15分位まで移動し、波も中々の揺れで、乗り物に弱い私は酔い止め飲んでも結構酔いました。
檻の中には4人づつ入りました。
楽しみにしていたので、具合悪い中でも念願のサメに会えると張り切って人より長く海にもぐってましたが、何匹か小魚は近くにいたものの、残念ながらサメはかなり深く遠くの下の方に小さく子サメ？が通り過ぎただけでほとんど見れず、ステッカーをもらって返金になりました・・・
でもスタッフの方々はとてもいい人たちだったので、また次回、絶対挑戦しようと思ってます。
帰りはハレイワを散策してから帰りました。

This was an awesome ride on the beach. And YES you DO ride on the beach. The area is beautiful and could see the whales playing in the ocean as we rode. The white sands of the beaches against the turquoise water was breathtaking.
I took the private ride and it is definitely not a standard trail ride. The polo horses were very well behaved and easy to ride. I recommend this to anyone who loves horses and has always wanted to ride on the beach in Hawaii.
Would definitely book this again when back on the island.
Swimming while holding onto a dolphin was amazing, and my wife was thrilled! If I could wish for anything, it would be to play with the dolphins a bit more! Since most of the explanations are in English, I think those who don't understand English might miss out on some of the fun.

I've lived in Waikiki for the last 5 years, a block from beach, and watched the para-sailers every day. It was always on my to do list but I never made the time. After finally doing it, I wish I had done it sooner! It's such a fun and beautiful experience. Not only do you get to parasail, you get the boat ride and the view of Waikiki from the ocean! We also saw whales jumping which was really the icing on the cake. Being able to float above Waikiki was scenic and peaceful and a rush, all at the same time. The crew is very talented and a make the experience fun as well. What an amazing feeling as you lift off the back of the boat and gently float up. A must do!
The dolphins were incredibly cute, and it was so much fun to hold onto their dorsal fins and give them kisses! Although the time was short, it was truly a valuable experience that moved me. I also bought photos separately, which became a wonderful keepsake. It was so healing.
Sea Life Park has various shows, and the dolphin show was creatively arranged and very impressive. It was amazing to see the instructor riding on top of a dolphin like a surfboard! When I come to Oahu again, I want to visit Sea Life Park and touch the dolphins again.

Awesome experience! Nothing like it. Plenty of parking and in an awesome area, Haleiwa. The ride out to the cage was not long, before a short safety brief. Once in the cage, it's a unique feeling to know one of the oceans apex predetors are swimming around you. They get pretty close, and is well worth price of the tour. It was a bit cold on the day, but it was a wonderful experience. The view from over the sea was amazing. However, the photos I opted for didn't turn out very well. I guess it's because they were taken from far away...

I have been to the North Shore before and enjoyed this trip the most. We enjoyed the Waimia Falls park more due to the guides suggestions. he was very knowledgeable and interesting. I especially enjoyed the turtles. I would recommend it for the young and hardy or an old folk like me. Great fun!

Staff were a crack up and made the whole trip full of laughs. From the moment we got out on the boat we saw dolphins and whales so it was a bonus. Sharks appeared right away when you travel a bit further out so it was good there was no waiting around or searching like other tours. The experience was amazing. The staff kept the nature of the sharks a mystery untill you finish your turn. Only then do they tell you that the sharks are complete pussy cats and have never attacked anyone. This added to the adventure and adrenalin rush of the experience. Inside the cage you see LOTS of LARGE sharks. We had 6 sharks surrounding us. Highly recommended!

The day before, I went to take sunset photos while confirming the meeting place, and since the catamaran had just returned, I assumed this was the right spot. However, when I arrived on the day, the catamaran was gone, and I panicked. I asked a nearby hotel staff, and they said it was "five hotels down." When we reached the turtle habitat point, snorkeling and free diving began (you can dive about 10 meters).
We stayed there for about an hour.

After that, we cruised around the bay and were able to see Diamond Head and the hotel cluster from the sea, which was also impressive.

参加前日にサンセットの写真を撮りに行きながら集合場所の確認に行き丁度カタマランが帰って来たのでこの場所で良いと思い込み、当日を迎えてその場所に行くとカタマランが無く、焦ってしまい近くのホテルのスタッフに聞くと『５つ先のホテル』との事でした。
集合時間ギリギリだったのでダッシュして行くと沖合からカタマランがビーチに向かって来ました。（汗・汗・汗）

ホテルが同じグループだったので勘違いしてしまいました。
（アウトリガー・リーフ・オン・ザ・ビーチ前が集合場所ですが、アウトリガー・ワイキキ・オン・ザ・ビーチ前に行ってしまいました。要注意して下さい。）
今、思うと帰って来たカタマランも違う船でした。
受付では、片言の日本語が解るスタッフ（日本語の参考書を持ってました。）が一人いましたが、その他のスタッフは日本語が解らない様子でした。
乗船してから注意事項等説明が有ります。すべて英語（当然ですよね。）
５分位で嫁さんは、船酔いでダウン。（船に弱い方は酔止め
の投薬をおすすめします。）
ホヌの生息ポインに着くとシュノーケリング・素潜り開始
（１０ｍ位潜れます。）
１時間位停泊していました。
１０匹以上のホヌに遭遇し大感動でした。
その後、湾内のクルージングしてくれ海上からダイヤモンドヘッド、ホテル群を見る事が出来てこれも感動です。
次回は、サンセットクルーズに乗船し船上からのサンセットを見てみたいです。

We went on our Honeymoon and this was one of the activities that we have done. If this is your first time surfing, don't fret. The staff are professional and they teach you all the basics. Opt for the private lessons because if you are tired from paddling, the instructor can help you back to the waves hence more opportunity for you to keep on practicing to get better. I went on this tour with my friend, both of us have grown up around the water and have been snorkeling many times in Hawaii. On this tour, they take you to a snorkel spot called turtle canyon. However, turtle canyon is between 40 and 50 feet deep and your basically staring down at a reef that is so far down there are scuba divers below you AND it is not a secluded snorkeling spot but rather an open ocean spot far away from the shore of waikiki beach... like, past where the surfers are!
I found it to be a little scary and the "guide" kept swimming off leaving my friend and I to chase him and not guiding us at all. Once the word "sharks" was mentioned, i swam back to the boat (a 5minute swim back btw).
On another note, the sailing part was lovely and relaxing and we saw TONS OF DOLPHINS, the lunch was good as was the champagne and other drinks. The crew was great as well... except for the snorkel guide that kept leaving us to float alone in the middle of the ocean.

My friend is coming to Hawaii and wants to try surfing, so I signed up for lessons. I can ride the waves, but I don't have the skill or stamina to teach, so I signed up for my friend's sake.
In reality, surfing has its own competition for waves (territory?), but here, you can take lessons at a long-established place with no complaints.
No matter which instructor you get, most people are able to stand up on the board, and if there are any who haven't yet, they focus on helping them, which I think is very considerate.

They are just gorgeous to look at!
Even the guide from Argentine was a professional polo player/trainer, so he knew all about the horses. (I didn't know that Argentine was the capital of polo!) He explained to us what to do and what not to do with the horse. I was a bit nervous first since the horse was a professional polo horse, and you know what they say about how the horse can feel your fear! But the guide made me feel relaxed, and I definitely enjoy the ride on the beautiful beach on North Shore.
This is highly recommended! Very romantic for couples for sure.
I thought it would be perfect to participate since my grandchildren (6 and 3 years old) have a turtle at home and are interested in fish. As expected, the children were thrilled and excited about the various fish and sea turtles.
