My husband and I and our 2 kids age 10 and 12 set out from k'Olina area to the ranch. I have to say the drive was amazing. Great views, beach pull off spots, food trucks and we also stopped off at a coffee farm on the way. Once at Gunstock Ranch the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The horses were incredibly trained and easy to ride. The horses were very very very calm and I would trust my 91 year old grandmother could ride them and be just fine. The place was very clean and the horses very well kept after. Hardly any bugs at all, although we did put bug spray on us before hand just incase. I saw beautiful butterflies during the ride on beautiful lush natural trees and bushes. Seriously the views looked like movie sets and later we learned filming was done there in the past. The ride was easy, smooth and very very enjoyable. The scenery was incredible. We rode so close to cows big ones and baby ones. They were very calm and I was happy to know the cattle ranch does not brand their cattle but tag them with numbers. The people at this ranch really do take care of the horses. It's extremely apparent the amazing caring hands these horses are in. You do not need any prior experience at all to do this excursion and I highly highly recommend them over any other ranch in the area. We have done family trail rides before but this one was the best! When we return to Oahu we will be back.

I decided to participate to excite my elementary school son, but my wife and I ended up being the ones who were excited. Since we had no experience with scuba diving, it was a lot of fun to dive into the ocean. Additionally, the guide had a great sense of humor, so I'm glad we joined. I highly recommend this for families!

I made a reservation in advance in Japan to stay at the Kahala Hotel. I am overwhelmed with joy that my long-time dream of swimming with dolphins has come true. It was a genuine interaction, not just the typical experience of touching dolphins that you often find in Japan. We participated as a couple, but it seemed that families in the same group were also enjoying themselves.

If I had to mention a downside, I was a bit concerned about the water's cleanliness. It might be due to the dolphins' waste, which is understandable... Since it's not a fish tank, it might be difficult to purify the lagoon. Also, I feel that the price is a bit too high.

I definitely recommend it to anyone staying at the Kahala.

We participated as a family of four. Without any explanation, we got on the canoe and received instructions on how to hold the oars while paddling. As soon as we headed out, waves came, so we were told we would return after two rides, which took about ten minutes. It was so brief that we asked for another round. If we hadn't asked, we would have only had two rides.

I was scheduled for a 9:10 pickup, but I overslept and woke up at 10:00... I hurriedly contacted them, and they quickly changed the time for me. The only available course was in the morning, so I made an effort to wake up early and drove from Waikiki. It was pouring rain around Kualoa Ranch in the morning, and I was worried it might get canceled, but the locals didn't seem to mind at all and proceeded with the check-in process. After confirming how to ride the horses with the Japanese instructions, I quickly got on the horse.

The warm body temperature was comforting, and I was first impressed by the completely different sensation compared to riding something inanimate. The tour was filled with a sense of adventure as we went down paths that were more rugged than I expected. The instructor who accompanied us didn’t just walk ahead; she moved around behind us, actively engaging with everyone in the group.

I made the right choice by signing up for the two-hour course! The view from the high ground of Kualoa Ranch was amazing, the air in the lush forest was refreshing, and everything felt wonderful. If I get the chance to come back to Hawaii, I will definitely repeat this experience.

My family and I have been on several horseback riding tours, and this one was certainly one of the best. For one, the staff were great! They were very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel like we were in good hands.The horses were extremely sweet and well-trained too. Additionally, the actual ranch where the riding took place was absolutely beautiful! We saw everything from a rare cave, to an amazing view of the ocean, which made for a bunch of great photo opportunities. I would definitely recommend horseback riding at Gunstock Ranch to anyone in Oahu looking for a change of pace from the typical beach scene of Hawaii.

I decided to challenge myself to fly in the sky as a celebration of my upcoming 60th birthday. Since I was staying at the Hilton, it was only a 10-minute walk, so there was no time loss. I trusted the reviews that said even if my English wasn't great, everything would work out. As a result, everyone was so kind and skilled at helping me relax, so communication was no problem at all. Although it was only 120 meters, I enjoyed it enough. Thanks to the impressive work of the two crew members on the boat, I was able to shout and laugh loudly in the sky, feeling the thrill and becoming one with the wind. It was a great experience! I've been to Hawaii more than ten times, but this was my first time parasailing! I went with a mix of anxiety and excitement, but there was nothing to worry about; it was incredibly safe and enjoyable, even more than I imagined.

Seeing Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sky was just breathtaking! We were blessed with beautiful weather, with a stunning blue sky and ocean. I don't think you can find such scenery anywhere else. I definitely want to do it again the next time I go to Hawaii.

Since I came all the way to Hawaii, I booked a show. At first, I signed up for a show with transportation included, but since the meeting point was farther from the hotel, I opted for this one that I could get to on my own. For those with a short stay, I think it's good because you can see it in Waikiki, which minimizes time loss. It was standard, but it included a welcome drink plus one drink, and the food was decent. Perhaps because it was small, all the seats were relatively close to the stage. There was also a face painting service for kids, which they enjoyed. I was worried about getting seasick, so I took motion sickness medication after breakfast. I didn't get sick, but I was hit by an overwhelming drowsiness. The deeper we went, the darker it became, and the visibility wasn't that clear, so I dozed off and felt a bit out of it. If asked if I would go again, my answer would be NO. As mentioned in Manou Yamashita's book, in the morning, there were mostly Japanese people, so if you want to feel like you're abroad, I recommend the afternoon trips. In the morning, it was nice to have a Japanese guide and be able to listen to the explanations without headphones since there were many Japanese people... It was good that the shuttle bus dropped us off not at the original location, but partway, allowing us to get off in front of DFS without returning to the Sheraton. By the way, Manou recommended walking along the coast to the boarding area instead of taking the shuttle bus.

酔ってしまったら嫌だなあと思って、酔い止め薬を朝食後に飲みました。酔わなかったですけど、もの凄い眠気に襲われ、艦内は潜れば潜るほど暗くなるし、そこまで透明度も明瞭でないので、ウトウト、ぼーっとしてしまいました。もう1回行く？と聞かれたら、ＮＯ、です。山下マヌーさんの本に載っていた通り、午前中は、日本人がほとんどだったので、海外気分を感じたいのであれば、午後便がお勧めです。午前は、日本語ガイドになり、（日本人が多かったので）ヘッドフォンをつけずに解説を聞けるのは良かったと思いますが・・・。送迎バスの送りで、元の場所でなく、途中で、おろしてもらえたのは良かったです。（シェラトンまで戻らずにＤＦＳ前で降車できた）ちなみに、マヌーさんは、送迎バスで運んでもらうのではなく、海岸をずっと歩いて、乗船場まで行くことをオススメしていました。

We participated with three adults and one high school student. We traveled by boat from the sandy beach to the spot. The ride can be bumpy, and it shakes while waiting for others to fly, so I think it's better to take motion sickness medication beforehand.

After about a five-minute boat ride, the staff starts preparing everything. We took off our sandals, put on life jackets, and once we were ready, the groups started flying one after another. You choose the height when you make the reservation, but it didn't seem to be confirmed, so the height doesn't seem to matter much. What was checked were the number of water landings and the force of the jump. I didn't want to get wet, so I used "ones! mild!" and only splashed a little. Some people got quite wet, but it seems it's also possible to come back dry.

The flying lasts just under ten minutes, but it feels amazing. It was quite high and a bit scary, but I had enough time to wave my hands and take pictures. The staff were handsome and kind, and it was fun to chat with others on the same boat.

飛んでいる間は10分弱ですがかなり気持ちいいです。結構高くて少し恐さはありましたが手を振ったり、写真を撮る余裕はありました。スタッフの方がイケメンで親切で、同じボートの方との話ができたり楽しかったです。

I participated with my family and my 2-year-old nephew. I was nervous that there might be a height check since he was just barely 92 cm, but there was no check, and we were able to board without any issues.

This was one of the greatest highlights of our whole vacation!! The staff were so friendly and kind. We shared the boat with other passengers who were on their honeymoons and on family vacations also. It was a great environment. And the kids had so much fun watching how they set up the parasails. The pictures turned out fantastic and it was overall amazing, I wish to come here again :)

My husband wanted to try surfing, so I joined him. It was my first experience with surfing.

We were picked up by car on the way there, and since the hotel (Moana Surfrider) was close, we walked back afterward. It took about 10 minutes.

The staff at the reception spoke Japanese, which made me feel very comfortable during the lesson. I also received a CD with photos taken during the lesson, and it was a really great experience. I participated thinking I would just be a companion, so I didn't have much stamina and had to return to the beach partway through (laughs). Paddling is quite tiring!!

夫がサーフィンをやってみたいと言うので参加しました。サーフィンは初体験でした。
行きは車で迎えに来てもらい、帰りはホテル（モアナサーフライダー）が近かったので歩いて帰りました。10分くらいです。

受付スタッフは日本語を喋れるかただったのでとても安心して受講できました。
レッスン中の写真を撮ったCDRもいただき、とても良い体験ができました。
私は付き添い程度のつもりで参加したので、体力もなく途中でビーチに帰らせてもらいました（笑）パドリング、結構疲れます!!
