We rented rash guards and aqua shoes at the shop. It was a group lesson, but during our time slot, there were only five of us: our family and one other Korean woman in her 30s, with two staff members assisting us. We learned how to ride the waves while watching a video in the shop. After that, we moved to the beach and practiced the motions of riding the waves on the sand multiple times together. Then it was time to hit the ocean! Paddling was really tough, but both my mother and I managed to get out. The waves in Waikiki in March were quite gentle, suitable for beginners. In the summer, the waves get bigger, so it's advised not to go too far out. Because the waves were calm, it seemed impossible to ride them without paddling strongly, and when the waves came, the staff would give us a push. That helped us catch the waves! I participated in the morning session and chose the 90m option. There were three groups, including us, totaling seven people. The "m" likely refers to the length of the rope, and at 90m, it felt like there was no slack in the rope, making it rise quite high. The 150m option seemed to have a bit of slack, so it didn't look like it was going as high. If it's your first time, I think the 90m option is sufficient since the price is also lower.

It would be nice to have a waterproof phone case that you can hang around your neck to take photos from above. I'm worried about dropping a selfie stick. I wasn't sure about the tipping standard, so I gave $20 each to the two instructors, but it seems that wasn't necessary. They took about 112 photos for us. You can decide whether to purchase them after looking at the photos.

I was surprised to see two tour buses at the meeting place, with people from various countries. However, there was a staff member who spoke Japanese, and the guided tour was also in Japanese. It was fun to see places from Jurassic World and more, and the magnificent scenery is truly wonderful. It mentioned that those with cardiovascular diseases should be cautious, but everything except the zip line was manageable. Long pants aren't necessarily required (though they might be for horseback riding). Since it's primarily a ranch, there is some smell, but there are also many animals. However, the lunch buffet wasn't very good, so I give it four stars.

Horseback riding on the beach was fabulous. Beautiful and very relaxing. Our ride was 11/2 hours long which was just perfect. We wanted the sunset ride but it was booked, so reserve early. The horses are well groomed and cared for. Highly recommend this experience.

We participated as a family. At first, it was scary, but since we got used to the gentle course before moving to higher altitudes, we were able to enjoy it without anxiety. There was an instructor who spoke a little Japanese, which was helpful. It would have been even more fun if we could speak English.

Since there are times when you need to hold onto the equipment with both hands, it would be convenient to have a case to hang your smartphone around your neck. I think it would be concerning if you only had it in your back pocket and it fell out.

When we were there, there was water available, but unfortunately, there were no bananas or other fruits (not sure if they ran out?).

Overall, it was a fun and great experience.

It's necessary to inform the staff and the captain that you'd like photos before boarding and before parasailing, but it's reassuring that you can decide whether to purchase them after returning to the office and viewing the photos. This boat trip was amazing! The captain was extremely knowledgeable and even looked out for dolphins and whales for us! We werent able to see any dolphins, but we were able to see a whale. We also saw some honu's, (green sea turtles) and some really cool fish. He also had a lot of great jokes, which made me smile! Well worth it!
