Since the trolley doesn't operate at the start time in the morning, we took a taxi from our hotel in Waikiki. We arrived in about 20 minutes. After checking in at the counter, a Japanese staff member named Miho gave us a 30-minute tour of the museum. From the garden plants to the history of Hawaii, it was a short time, but I learned a lot. Both the building and the garden were wonderful.

The hula lesson started at 10 AM. Since my daughter and I were the only students that day, it was a private lesson. We began with some basics, and the teacher's husband played the ipu heke, making it a luxurious lesson for beginners. The song was "Hale Maumau." I had done a little hula in Japan, but it might be a bit difficult for complete beginners. However, it felt like the lesson was tailored to the students. By the end of the one-hour lesson, we were able to dance one song, and we received a certificate at the end of the hula lesson. After that, we learned how to make a lei using ti leaves, which took about 30 minutes to complete. I wore the lei until the evening, and I received compliments while shopping.

After the program ended, we explored the museum, looking at things like the bird capes that Miho had shown us, and we returned by trolley.

Although it's a distance from Waikiki and there are no trolleys at the start time, I think it's a place worth visiting. If I have the chance, I would love to go again.

曲はハレマウマウ。日本で少しフラをやっていたのですが、まったくの初心者だと少し難しいかもしれません。
でも生徒に合わせてもらえる感じでした。
一時間のレッスンで一曲踊れるようになり、最後に認定証を頂き、フラレッスンは終了。
そのあとティーリーフを使ってレイの作り方を教えてもらえるのですが、30分ほとで完成、その日は夕方までレイをかけていましたが、買い物先などで褒めてもらえました。

プログラム終了後は、ミホさんに教えて頂いた鳥のマントなど、館内を見て回り、帰りはトロリーで戻りました。

ワイキキからは距離があり、開始時間にトロリーがないので、タクシーなどで行かなければなりませんが、行く価値のある場所だと思います。
次の機会があれば、またぜひ行きたいです。

I have done parasailing several times, but this was the highest in terms of altitude and airtime, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely stroll in the sky! The top of Diamond Head was almost at eye level, and I was able to enjoy a view looking down on Waikiki, so I’m glad I chose the 150m parasailing. You do get dropped into the sea quite a bit, but that was fun too. The staff spoke a bit of Japanese and had a sense of humor, which made it enjoyable. They also took plenty of photos while we were flying. However, since the boat has no roof, sun protection is essential.

I had always wanted to visit Kualoa Ranch. I wasn't very experienced with horseback riding, and I was worried about the guide speaking English, but it turned out fine! Before riding, we watched an explanation video in Japanese. There was no waiting time at all, and we could get on the horses right away after arriving. The horse I rode was a bit free-spirited and sometimes moved on its own, but it was very well-behaved and walked slowly along the designated path. I had the experience of realizing that Hawaii is not just about the ocean! You can ride a horse through a place that feels like stepping into a movie world! It was so much fun!＼(^o^)／ I was disappointed that I didn't have enough time to try the ranch's hamburger (laughs).

Love the experience. Love the food. Will come back and visit again. We came with two small children’s 2 and 4. They love the show and the buffet. Love the boat ride and the theater show. Ac is very cold in the imax show. We took the boat ride and went the very back and visited all the villages back so it’s a one way trip to the buffet if the timing is right. And after the buffet we hang out by the market and listen to the live music.

I participated in parasailing at a height of 150 meters with my daughter. The staff who provided transportation to the hotel were very kind, which made us feel at ease. On the boat, the crew took many photos for us, and we enjoyed a wonderful time taking in the views of Waikiki from 150 meters high. I thought it might be a bit scary with the wind, but my daughter seemed to enjoy it more that way. When I come to Hawaii again, I would like to participate once more.

Good zip line experience with a mix of short and long zip line runs. Was able to go up side down on the majority of the zip lines, although they prefer to save "tricks" for the last 2 zip lines as a surprise.

All lines are dual zip - so you go two at a time. Takes about 2 1/2 hours with 11 people in the group. Guides were fun, helpful, and took some good pictures (separate charge to buy their pictures). They encourage you to take your own pictures too.

They picked us up on time and took us straight to the yacht harbor. From there, we went quite far out on a cruiser, and that alone was a lot of fun! The tour guide spoke broken Japanese, but I could understand the explanations somewhat! Since it was a special occasion, we went for the 120m option, but it was so high that it was terrifying! However, it was a lot of fun and made for great memories. The view overlooking Waikiki was amazing, and I wanted to capture the scenery from above in photos! I was worried about having booked with an English guide and not understanding the safety regulations at all, but I was relieved to find that there were guides who had spent time in Japan and I could select Japanese text on the iPad! All the guides were cheerful, and I had a great time on the zip line! I was also happy to ride a buggy to the top of the mountain! The bumpy road felt like an attraction, and I enjoyed the journey to the zip line as well! I'm glad I went!

My first surfing experience! 初めてのサーフィン！

I had no experience with surfing, but I participated with the feeling that it would be cool to surf in Hawaii. I can't speak English, but I think I was able to prepare the minimum necessary because the staff explained the precautions in Japanese during the video before the lesson. I could somewhat understand the lesson through English words. There were 8 of us with 2 instructors, but 4 of us were able to ride the waves right away, so it was effectively 1 instructor for every 2 people. My own performance wasn't great, but I had fun playing in the waves.
