Worst part was getting up for a 5:50am shuttle pick-up. But it was well worth it. Our shuttle was full and there were more instructions at the top of the Bay, where gear rental was distributed and we were placed into manageable groups for the ticket office. But the organizers knew what they were doing, kept track of everyone, despite confusing looks on some of our faces (mine!). Plenty of room at the beach; clean basic facilities. Information booth was staffed by very knowledgeable and helpful guides. I noticed a long line at the locker & gear rental. In the past 10 years of 4 snorkeling trips (I'm obviously not avid), Hanauma Bay comes in 3rd as far as plentiful ocean life.* Maybe because of climate change, 10 years ago was the last of the best of snorkeling? Glad I went though. I was going to skip it because of the tourism. But the agencies in charge struck the best balance possible for an endangered reef and we humans who want to pay our respects to Kanaloa and Pele, for the beautiful gifts they bestowed.

The tour participants were from many countries, and it was so popular that I wondered if a single large bus could even accommodate everyone.

Since the tour would be canceled in case of rain, I was worried about the weather, but by the time we arrived at the location, it had cleared up.

The buggy experience was conducted in English, but they played a video in Japanese explaining how to operate the buggy, so I had no worries about driving. Even if something irregular happened, they kindly and clearly explained everything in English, so there was nothing to worry about. I have always been a fan of the Jurassic series, and I was truly moved to see the setting in person. It made me think again about how amazing the Earth is and how grand nature can be... It was a buggy tour that made me feel grateful to be here. I was simply overwhelmed by the magnificent scenery and couldn't take my eyes off it.

We stopped at various points, where they provided explanations of the scenery and time for photo opportunities, which was really great. (I couldn't understand most of the English explanations, though, haha.)

It might be an exaggeration, but if you're going to Hawaii, I definitely recommend seeing the scenery here at least once!!

(If I could be a little selfish, I wish we could have visited more filming locations from Jurassic Park...)

雨が降ると中止になるツアーの為、天候悪化も心配していたが、無事現地に到着する頃には晴れてくれた。

バギー体験はもちろん英語のやりとりだが、バギーの乗り方の説明は日本語のビデオを流してくれた為、運転等の心配は全くなく、何かイレギュラーが発生しても英語で優しく分かりやすく教えてくれたので、何も心配はいらなかった。
私は元々ジュラシックシリーズのファンで、生でその舞台を見ることができて本当に感激だった。地球はすごいな、自然は壮大だな・・・と改めて思わせてるそんなバギーツアーだった。ここに来れて良かったと心底思えた。
ただただ壮大な景色に圧倒され、ずっと見惚れていた。
ポイントごとに停車して、景色の説明や写真撮影タイムが設けられていてすごくよかった。(英語の説明はほぼ理解できなかったけど笑)

でも大袈裟かもしれないけど、ハワイに行かれるなら、是非ここの景色は一度見てみてほしい！！

(ただ少しワガママを言うのであれば、もう少し、ジェラシックパークの撮影地を巡ってほしかったなぁ・・・)

My wife and I participated together. First of all, the staff were very kind, and even though my English wasn't great, they managed to help me. The driving distance was much longer than I expected, and my wife and I took turns driving. Along the way, there were three locations where the staff provided detailed explanations in English, and they spoke slowly, so I was able to understand somewhat. In the last ten minutes, it started pouring rain, and we got completely soaked, but it was the best memory from our seven-night stay in Hawaii. I would like to stop by again next time I go.

It's about a 2-hour tour, but you can see a variety of fish and turtles up close through the glass, and the time passes so quickly because the content is so rich. I visited Hawaii for the first time for my wedding and honeymoon. It was a very refreshing and wonderful experience.

This time, I went to the meeting place by rental car. On the day of the tour, I happened to check my email and found a message from the tour company saying, "There will be a canoe race tomorrow, and there may not be parking available. If you need a shuttle bus, please come to ○○ Hotel around 9:10 AM. If you are coming by car and the parking is full, please park at ○○ and walk over."

I noticed this at 9 AM, but fortunately, it was at the hotel next door, so I greeted my parents and hurried over. However, I received another email saying, "The shuttle is fully booked." In the end, we went by rental car (laughs).

The reason was that there were overlapping events on the weekend. I realized that I should definitely check my emails, as you never know what might happen (laughs).

During the trip, I planned to use Wi-Fi and LINE, so I had disabled the international calling feature. Perhaps they had tried to call me the day before (＾＾；).

When we arrived at the location, luckily there was one parking spot available at the boat harbor, and we were able to park the car safely.

During the tour, important explanations were given separately to the Japanese group and the English-speaking group, with explanations provided in each language.

Regarding our belongings, the boat we boarded was divided into two levels. On the first floor, there were baskets under the seats where we could store our bags. On the second floor, we could access our items by opening the seat lids, so there was no worry about dropping anything into the sea.

While everyone was swimming, there were always one or two Japanese staff members or local staff on board to provide free drinks. It was reassuring to know they were there when we returned from the sea♪

I had some concerns about the amount of belongings and the size of our bags, but it turned out to be very reassuring. However, just in case something fell into the sea, it might be better not to take the original passport (laughs).

At the sandbar, the tide hadn't completely gone out, so there was seawater up to my knees, but the scenery was still amazing! There were staff members who were great at taking photos, and they took many pictures for us♪

From the sandbar, we could see the mountains of Kualoa, which was lovely ❤️.

The tour schedule on the website mentioned a 30-40 minute free time, but we actually had an hour, which allowed us to relax.

After practicing snorkeling and taking photos, when we returned to the boat and looked out from the second floor, we saw overseas tourists having a great time playing beach volleyball (laughs).

There was one double float, so there were couples leisurely floating around. We enjoyed sipping free drinks on the boat and had a wonderful time♡ The burgers we had on board were also incredibly delicious♫.

After that, we all moved by boat to go snorkeling. There were many small, cute fish around the coral! I was having so much fun filming in 4K on my smartphone that I could have watched them forever♡

Next, we moved to another location for turtle watching. Since we were split into two groups on the boat, when turtles were spotted on the other side, I was too lazy to move (laughs) as it felt a bit dangerous with the crowd.

But I was glad we were able to spot turtles on our side too!

When I later uploaded the videos I took, the turtles' faces were quite clear in the footage♪

The day before, we had to give up

9時に気づいたのですが、幸い隣のホテルだったため
両親に挨拶して急いで向かったところ
もう一つメールが来ていて
「シャトルが予約で満席になってしまいました」とあり
結局、レンタカーで向かいました（笑）


理由は土日でイベントが重なってしまったからでした。
何かあるか分からないので
ちゃんとメールは見るべきだなと思いました（笑

今回、旅行中は全てWi−Fi利用、LINE利用のつもりでいたので
国際通話の機能を無効化していました。
もしかしたら、前日に電話をくれていたのかも(＾＾；)


現地に向かうと、幸いボートハーバーで1つ空きがあり
無事に車も止める事ができました♩


駐車した後、どこが受付かわからなかったのですが
港の入口にいた警察官に英語で聞いたところ
「一番奥の青い屋根のところだよ」と
見えるところまで一緒に歩いて教えてくれました（＾＾）



受付場所には色んな人たちがいて
自分の参加するツアーの受付が分からず
主人と見渡していると
青いシャツを着た女性が名前を呼んでくれたので
無事に受付する事ができました（＾＾）


ツアー中、大事な説明が入る時は
日本人グループと、英語を話す人グループに分けられ
それぞれの言語で説明をしてくれました。


また荷物に関してですが
私たちが乗った船は１階と２階に分かれていて

１階は座席の下にカゴが置いてあったので
荷物はそこに置いておく事ができました。

2階は、座席の蓋を開けての出し入れだったので
海に物が落ちる心配もありませんでした。


みんなで泳ぎに出てる時なんかは
フリードリンクがいつでも提供できるように
日本人スタッフ、現地スタッフの人たち誰か1、2人が
必ず船内にいてくれました。
海から戻ると安心感もありました♪

持ち物の量やカバンの大きさ、置き場所に不安はありましたが
とっても安心しました。
でも万が一　海に落とすと怖いので
パスポート原本は持って行かない方がいいかも（笑）


サンドバーは
潮が完全に引いておらず膝下まで海水はありましたが
それでも素晴らしい景色でした！
写真を撮るのが上手なスタッフさんもいて
たくさん写真を撮っていただきました♪

サンドバーからはクアロアの山々も見えて
素敵でした❤️


サイト申込時のツアースケジュールには
30−40分のフリーとありましたが
私たちの時は1時間もあって、ゆっくり過ごす事ができました。

シュノーケリングの練習をしたり、写真を撮ったりしたあと
船内に戻り2階から景色を見ていると
海外観光客の方たちはとっても楽しそうに
ビーチバレーをしていらっしゃいましたw

1つだけ2人乗りの浮き輪があったので
ゆったり浮かんでるカップルもいました。

船内でゆっくりフリードリンクを飲んだり
素敵な時間を過ごせたとおもます♡
船上で食べるバーガーもめっちゃ美味しかったです♫


その後はみんなで船で移動して
シュノーケリングをしました。

サンゴの周りには
小さくて可愛らしいお魚が沢山いました！
スマホの4Kで撮ってて楽しくて
いつまででも見ていられそうでした♡


その後はタートルウォッチングのために
また場所を移動しました。
船内で二手に分かれていたので
反対側で見つかった時は
移動が面倒臭くて動きませんでしたw
（人も偏ってて危ない気もしましたし）

でも自分たちが居たサイドでも
無事に見つけられて良かったです！

撮った動画を後でアップしてみると
かなりハッキリと顔が見えていました♪


前日にスコールに当たり
海亀がいるビーチに行くのを断念していたので
無事見れて満足です✨✨✨


港に戻る時も海亀見れて嬉しかった♡

帰りに船の中で
色んな映画の撮影現場である事も教えてもらいました♪


結構　濃密な経験ができた日だったと思います♡

I participated in the sunset dinner cruise alone. Since it was Friday and the weather was nice, I was able to enjoy the Hilton fireworks from the boat. The fireworks lasted about 30 minutes. The crab legs were decent in taste, but the way to crack the crab was difficult, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who aren't skilled at it. I had assumed the staff would help with cracking the crab, so I was a bit disappointed. The steak and other dishes were delicious. The dining area was full, so the serving staff were quite busy moving around. Perhaps because of that, it took a while for them to bring additional drinks when I ordered them. When ordering additional drinks, payment is required in advance, which made me a little worried. I participated alone, but if you can handle basic English conversation, it shouldn't be a problem. Both the staff and the other guests were friendly. During dinner, there were events like singing, performances, and dancing to keep guests entertained. It's wise to arrange for the bus transfer in advance. Compared to a taxi, the fare is cheaper and the departure and arrival times are accurate. Although it was packed with hundreds of participants, I hardly saw anyone who looked Japanese. I think the balance between the cost and the content is good.

サンセットディナークルーズにひとりで参加しました　金曜日で天気も良かったのでヒルトンの花火を船上から堪能できました　花火は30分くらいです　　　料理のクラブレッグのカニは味はまあまあでしたが　カニの身のむき方が難しかったので得意ではない人にはあまりおすすめできません　スタッフの方がむいてくれるとばかり思っていましたのであてがはずれました　ステーキ等はおいしかったです　客室は満席のため配膳担当のスタッフの方たちはかなり忙しく動き回っていました　そのためか飲物を追加で頼んでもなかなか持ってきてくれませんでした　　追加で飲物などを頼む場合は料金先払いなので少し心配になりました　ひとりで参加しましたが日常英会話ができるのなら問題ありません　スタッフも参加されたお客様たちもフレンドリーな方たちばかりです　ディナーの途中にも歌や演奏そしてダンスなどお客様をあきさせないイベントがあります　バスの送迎は申込んおいたほうが賢明です　タクシーと比べれば料金も安いし出発到着時間も正確です　何百人参加したのかわからないくらいどの階も満席でしたが日本人と思われる姿はほとんど見かけませんでした　参加費用と内容とのバランスは良いと思います

I didn't expect to get covered in an incredible amount of dust while riding the four-wheeler, but it turned out to be a great memory. It was fun to explore the beautiful views at Kualoa Ranch. I was a bit disappointed that there was only an English guide available.

This was an outstanding luau. I had read some reviews complaining that drive there goes through a industrial area. Who cares!? Once you arrive you are in a secluded, gorgeous property on the ocean.
The food and entertainment was outstanding. I went back for seconds on the pig, which they actually roast in the ground the traditional way.
This luau is the best bang for your buck on the island.

An exciting adventure for all ages, lots of different activities and skill levels. I was happy to walk on the sand bar and relax on the floating platform while my young adult company enjoyed kayaking, volleyball, SUP and snorkeling. The crew was fantastic and even off the boat you could still enjoy the live music/tunes. Bring your own snacks so you won’t be hungry or buy from the mini store on the dock. We bought a bunch of breakfast items and they were delicious. I would absolutely book this again on our next visit… MAHALO

The meals were luxurious, and the lobster was excellent. I was satisfied with the Hawaiian-themed presentation. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, and I couldn't experience the sunset. What a shame!

Whenever I'm planning to join a tour, I always wonder if it'll be fun for the kids too. Even though it's a bit pricier, choosing the Friday luau in the courtyard by the lagoon was a great choice! Even if the kids got a bit bored halfway through, they could play on the grass for a bit. And the best part was it was free for kids under 4, which was super awesome! What made me even happier was the kids buffet corner, with kid-friendly foods like Tater tots, Teriyaki chicken, and meatballs etc. We made some fantastic family memories in Hawaii.

The show was a blast, featuring dances from the various Polynesian islands.
There were even a few fire dancers, which the kids absolutely loved.

We were bummed we couldn't see the final fireworks from our seats, but watching them up close from right in front of the hotel was an incredible experience. Totally satisfied!

The only participants from Japan were us, but the staff were very kind. I checked the precautions in a Japanese video. There was a hole in the seat I sat in, and my backside got wet (from water after washing the car), but I quickly forgot about that while riding through the magnificent scenery, covered in dust. My wife was busy taking photos and videos while we were riding, but she stopped at key points for explanations and commemorative photos. It was very dusty, and it was quite a hassle when we got back. But it was fun. The dining area is a bit cramped, so when the bus tours return, a lot of people gather and form a line to order. We had our meal early, so there was no one around. There’s a sign that says "Order Here" on the far right of the food service area, so you can order there, pay at the register, and just wait for the buzzer to go off when your order is ready. The burgers are huge, so for an elderly couple like us, sharing one is just about right. I recommend having a meal before starting, as your mouth will get dusty too. Enjoy!

You can't wear shoes while paddleboarding or kayaking, but it might be good to have water shoes for snorkeling.

We were able to take turns using the paddleboards and kayaks.

I visited Kualoa Ranch for the first time. The shuttle bus was comfortable, and once we arrived at Kualoa Ranch, the tour guide provided a thorough explanation in English.

The pre-ride video for the ATV was in Japanese, which made it easy to understand.

As we set off, it felt like we had entered the world of a movie. We stopped at movie spots, and the tour guide took many photos in English.

There are restrooms, souvenir shops, and a café. If you want to take your time looking at souvenirs, I recommend allowing extra time for the bus schedule.

This was a really great package that the whole family enjoyed! Snorkelling was amazing and the banana boat was a blast. It was very comfortable that the boat stays docked so you can find shade, drinks, and any of the items you need throughout the time on the sandbar. Highly recommend!

The round-trip was by bus, and even at the Sheraton Hotel's pickup point, there were quite a number of people lined up for check-in, with three large buses available. Upon arriving at the port, several similar buses also arrived. The ship had floors from 1 to 4, and on the 3rd floor, tables for two by the window were prepared. The dinner cruise started with champagne. The appetizers were to be picked up from a table in the hallway, and included cheese, crackers, watermelon, and grapes, which we brought back to our seats. Each table had a dedicated staff member who provided very pleasant service. The 3rd floor was nearly full, and it seemed quite challenging just to serve the food. The meal included salad, lobster, and steak, finishing with cake for dessert. In addition to the champagne, each person received two drink tickets for free drinks of their choice. The view of Honolulu from the sea was beautiful, and during the meal, I went to the 4th floor deck to take photos. The 4th floor deck was reserved, and the front area was completely off-limits. Initially, we could access the 4th floor deck, but it quickly became fully booked and we could no longer enter. I think it's best to go up to the 4th floor deck early. The scenery, including the buildings of downtown Honolulu, Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head, and the sunset, was truly beautiful. I booked the Friday cruise specifically to see the Hilton fireworks, which were quite spectacular, and since the ship stopped right in front, we could enjoy them leisurely. When disembarking, we lined up according to our designated bus numbers and were taken directly to the bus, so it's best to use the restroom on the ship beforehand. The bus to the Sheraton Hotel made stops at Prince and Hilton Village on the way back, which took a bit longer. The bus driver was also quite the entertainer. Of course, the Samoan dance that took place after the fireworks on the ship, as well as dancing the YMCA with all the passengers, was really enjoyable. I highly recommend this option.

往復ともバスの送迎でしたが、シェラトンホテルの乗り場だけでも相当の人が列をなしてチェックインをしていてバスは大型バスが3台。港につくと同様のバスが何台も到着していました。船のフロアは1階〜4階まであり、3階のフロアでテーブルは窓側二人用の席が用意されていました。ディナークルーズのスタートはシャンパンから。前菜は廊下にあるテーブルに取りに行き、チーズにクラッカー、スイカやぶどうなどを席まで持ってくるスタイル。各テーブルは担当スタッフがつき、とても気持ち良い対応をしていました。3階フロアはほぼ満席で料理を配膳するだけでも大変に見えました。料理はサラダ、ロブスター、ステーキと来てデザートはケーキで終了しました。シャンパン以外に1人2枚のドリンク券がついていて好きなドリンクが無料で頼めました。海上から見るホノルルはとても綺麗で食事中も4階のデッキに行って写真を取りました。4階デッキの客室は貸し切りでデッキも前方ははなから貸切で入れませんでした。最初は入れた4階デッキも直ぐに貸し切り状態となり入れなくなりました。4階デッキは早めに昇っておくのが良いと思います。風景はホノルル市街のビル、ワイキキビーチ、ダイヤモンドヘッド、夕日の沈む光景など本当に綺麗でした。今回ヒルトンの花火を見たいということもあり金曜日のクルーズを予約しましたが、ヒルトンの花火もなかなか大掛かりなもので、船も真ん前に停止しているのでゆったりと見物できました。船を降りるときには指定されたバスの番号ごとに並んで降りますが、そのままバスに連れて行かれますのでトイレは船内で済ませておくのが良いと思います。シェラトンホテル行きのバスは途中プリンス、ヒルトンビレッジと立ち寄ってから帰りましたので少し時間がかかりました。バスの運転手もエンタティナーでした。もちろん船内で花火の後に行われたサモアのダンスや乗船客全員で踊るYMCAなどもホント楽しめました。是非お勧めしたいオプションです。

Everything from the snorkeling practice to the sea turtle watching and snorkeling around the coral was amazing. The burgers for lunch were also incredibly delicious! There was a Japanese interpreter, so I was able to enjoy it without any worries! I got to see sea turtles multiple times, and the coral was beautiful, but the fish swimming around were also really stunning! I would love to go again if I have the chance!

シュノーケリングの練習からウミガメウォッチングからサンゴの周りのシュノーケリング全て最高でした。
また昼食のバーガーも最高に美味しかったです‼️
日本語の通訳さんもおられたので安心して楽しめました‼️
ウミガメが何回もみれてサンゴも綺麗かったですが周りを泳いでる魚も凄く綺麗でした‼️
