It seems I was lucky on the day I participated, as a large group of dolphins was found right away. Even without swimming, just floating with my face in the water, I could see the dolphins swimming just below us! There were baby dolphins too, and their calls were so clear; it was incredibly moving. We moved to another spot and also got to see sea turtles and beautiful fish. I was able to try stand-up paddleboarding as well, so I was very satisfied!

I went surfing near Kapiolani Park in Waikiki. The instructor was a local, and he quickly remembered my face and name, giving necessary instructions in broken Japanese. I was nervous participating alone without speaking English, but it was great to be in the same group as Japanese people. Once you get out to the sea, you end up being alone anyway, so I don't think there's any need to worry about participating solo. Riding the waves by yourself is difficult, but the staff pushes you at just the right moment, making it easy to catch the waves. However, as a beginner, the board was really big, and paddling was very challenging.

However, this time, for the seventh visit, there were no dolphins... The sea was indeed quite rough, and it wasn’t a situation where the dolphins or turtles could relax.

During the cruising, the staff really tried to lift our spirits more than usual, but it was still disappointing. It seems that the dolphins headed to a completely different location from where they usually are, and the captain mentioned that it would be difficult to chase after them once we received that information due to time constraints. However, the sandbar was a bit disappointing because the water level was above my waist due to the high tide. The snorkeling was fantastic, as I got to see many different fish and corals, so I was very satisfied! North Shore Shark Adventures - Oahu Cage Diving Tour with Waikiki Transportation

Got caught in the "hang loose" spirit of Hawaii. The activity was booked for transporation at 9.45AM. The day before the activity a message was left at the hotelphone that transport fell through and I had to confirm (before 6PM) new transport time of 5.15AM! Of course I got back at my hotel after 12PM and wasn't able to confirm early pick-up. So I decided to go to the meeting point anyway, but no transport. Office opened at 6AM when I could finally phone in. Service level was low, merely a "No transport, sorry, reschedule please" Since that was not an option for me we had to come up with a solution. After a lot of back and forth (cab will cost you 200 one way!!)I decided to go on a citybus for 2.5 hrs which cost me 2.50 dollars and I made it with an hour to spare. Veltra was very service friendly. They contacted me and booked transport money back right away, without me even asking for it. So lesson learned: No pick-up service for shark tour!
I never even got a sorry from the Shark tour operator and the captain didn't know my name I had become a plus one!
The harbour of the tour itself was a bit dingy at best. The public toilet was filthy with bloodstains and glass bottles, but the boat had no changing option, so you have to use it.
The boat is very nice and the boat ride is awesome (unless you have motion sickness, in that case you will get sick, trust me!)The shark cage is not big, but big enough for the six per group that went in. Pay for the DVD, taking pictures yourself is very hard. The life vest will keep you floating and the ocean slams you into the cagebarrier.
The sharks are amazing and worth every bit of inconvenience. The crew is friendly and knowledgeable. They care for your safety and for the ocean wild life. It's not scary at all. When you get back I recomment getting lunch at Halewa Joe's. Just sit there and review your tour. If you can visit North shore or Turtle beach on your way back. The total tour is highly recommendable (without transport)

The staff is entertaining, and you can go quite high up! The view is spectacular! However, you have to wait for other people's turn, and I got really seasick on the small boat, honestly, I was almost about to throw up... (°_°;) I recommend bringing motion sickness medication for those who are sensitive.

ただ自分たち以外の人の時間待っていないといけないのですが、小さいボートでゆらゆら、スゴく酔いました、正直もうすこしで戻していましたね…(°_°;)

The sandbar was submerged up to my knees and didn't appear, but the scenery was beautiful, and I had fun swimming with turtles while snorkeling. I also spotted many turtles from the boat! The staff were cheerful and kind, and the handmade hamburgers for lunch exceeded my expectations in taste. I definitely want to revisit the sandbar for a second chance. There were many young people, but it was a friendly and enjoyable tour for all ages.

I had an amazing day that exceeded my expectations! First of all, our guide, Julie, was truly wonderful and great at getting everyone excited, which raised our spirits even before we saw the dolphins! Unfortunately, there was a boat from a dolphin protection organization that day, so we couldn't swim with the dolphins, but we were still able to see many wild dolphins up close, which was very moving. (I've heard that days when you can't swim with the dolphins are quite rare, so don't worry.) We also got to see a baby dolphin swimming, which was even more touching. After that, we enjoyed snorkeling. You can rent a wetsuit for $10. Even those who can't swim can definitely give it a try. The atmosphere on the boat was fun throughout the day, making it a very fulfilling experience. I will definitely participate again!

I participated in a one-day course from morning to evening with nine people, including myself. Since I was the last to be picked up, I waited for 15 minutes and was really anxious about whether they would actually come, but after that, everything went smoothly. In addition to horseback riding, we visited Moanalua Gardens, a pineapple plantation, and saw sea turtles (which we miraculously spotted!). We had lunch at a delicious shrimp restaurant, and since we had some extra time, they kindly took us to a soap factory. Our guide, Jimmy, was a Japanese-American who was fluent in Japanese and very experienced in guiding. He translated all the instructor's explanations during the horseback riding, so there were no issues at all.

Now, regarding the main horseback riding experience, the horses were well-trained thoroughbreds used for polo, and they responded very well to the reins even without a bit in their mouths. There were no problems for beginners at all! The ride was supposed to be an hour and a half, but with explanations and time spent mounting the horses, we actually rode for about an hour and fifteen minutes. It was so enjoyable that it felt like no time at all. When you hear "valley," you might imagine a river flowing, but we simply walked along mountain paths at a steady pace, going up and down repeatedly, and finally reached a spot where we could see the beach in the distance for a commemorative photo on horseback. Shortly after that, we dismounted. After finishing, we immediately got into the car and headed for lunch, so I was a bit disappointed that we didn't have time to interact with the horses or relax at the ranch, but it was a very fun day.

Since we were mostly walking, it might be a bit unsatisfying for intermediate to advanced riders, but I think it was a great experience to create wonderful memories of Hawaii.

朝から夕方までの1日コースで、私を含めて9人が参加しました。ピックアップの順番が最後だったので15分またされて、本当に来てくれるのかとドキドキしましたが、そのあとは順調でした。乗馬のほかにモアナルアガーデン、パイナップル園、ウミガメ見学（奇跡的に見られました！）、おいしいシュリンプのお店でお昼、時間が余ったので特別にソープファクトリーまで連れて行っていただきました。ガイドのジミーさんは日本語が堪能の日系の方でガイドにとても慣れていました。乗馬もインストラクターの説明を全て通訳してくださったので全く問題ありませんでした。
さて、メインの乗馬ですが、馬はポロ競技用によく調教されているサラブレッドで、口にハミを付けていなくても手綱の指示で本当によく動いてくれました。初心者でも全く問題ありません！時間は、1時間半コースでしたが説明や馬に乗る時間があるので実質1時間15分乗ったか乗らないかくらいでした。楽しかったのであっという間でしたね。渓谷と聞くと川の流れを想像させるのですが、ひたすら山道を並足で進み、上り下りを繰り返し、最後に遠くにビーチを望む場所に出て馬上で記念撮影。そのすぐ後に下馬になりました。終わったらすぐに車に乗って昼食に向かったので、馬と触れ合ったり牧場でのんびりしたりする時間がなかったのがちょっと残念でしたが、とても楽しい1日でした。
ずっと並足だったので乗馬の中上級者にはものたりないかもしれませんが、ハワイのいい思い出を作るには盛りだくさんでいい体験かなと思います。

I have had some experience with boats before, but I had never been on a small one, and I experienced seasickness for the first time. It was really tough, so even those who usually don't get motion sickness should be cautious. However, I was happy that the guide quickly noticed my change in condition and took care of me. Despite suffering from seasickness, I was able to go parasailing, and the view was truly amazing. Next time, I want to take motion sickness medication and give it another try.

Since Japanese was okay, I was able to listen to the explanations properly. It was fun to be able to touch the dolphins up close. The stay at Sea Life Park was a bit long, so I was bored until the return bus.

My wife & I love Shark Week so this activity was a clear must do. There is so much to talk about for this activity, but I'll just break it down to pros & cons. Pros: the water is really warm and about 80ft of visibility, the crew was nice, the sharks ranged at a decent 10ft to 12ft, the sharks get extremely close to the cage where you can touch a fin (but they tell you don't so beware), and most importantly not even Jaws can get through that cage (super thick bars). Cons: it's a small boat so if your prone to motion sickness you NEED dramamime since your out there for about 2 hours, no food or snacks so bring some because after your 30min dive you will be hungry and its about 1-2 hrs before you get back to Waikiki, and this is a tip from the wife - the bathroom at the dock is a park restroom so no seat covers so byosc ;). Wish I had a photo to share off my phone since it was really cool but its all on the gopro.

The price was somewhat high, so I hesitated a bit when making the reservation, but after participating in the program, I was really glad I booked it and was very satisfied. Since it's an experience that's hard to come by, I think it was a good decision to go for it.

There was a couple in their twenties from Japan, a man in his thirties who seemed to be a relative, and a couple in their twenties from America in the same group. A total of six people, four men and two women, participated in the two-hour course.
Since the buggy does not have power steering, it requires some "strength" to operate the steering wheel. This adds to the fun of driving the buggy. There is a steep cliff behind and the ocean in front. It is a nearly flat grassland (RUNCH) sandwiched between them. Driving a buggy through nature gives you a feeling of being embraced by the great outdoors. There was an explanation that "Jurassic Park and other movies" were filmed here, but I am not interested in that; I would rather have more time to drive the buggy. The majestic mountains and ocean are likely the appeal of this activity. A little more attention, such as providing bottled water, would be appreciated. Taking a break while drinking cold water and enjoying the scenery...

私の他に日本人の２０代の夫婦とその親戚らしき３０代男性と２０代のアメリカ人のカップルが同じ組にいました。男性４名女性２名の計６名が２時間コースで参加しました。
バギーはパワーステアリングでない為、ハンドル操作には「力」が必要です。それがバギー操作を面白くしている。背面には、切立つた崖（山）があり、正面は海である。それらに挟まれたほぼ平坦な草原（RUNCH）である。大自然の中を「自分で運転する」バギーで走るのは正に自然に抱かれている感情である。ここで「ジェラシクパークや他の映画」が撮影されたとの説明があるが、私には興味がない、それより多くの時間をバギー運転をさせて欲しい。雄大な山と海がこのアクテブィテーの魅力だろう。飲料水（ボトル）の提供をする等、少し細やかな配慮が必要です。冷たい水を飲みながら景色を見ながらの休息・・・・
ここれは、異質の「体験」かも知れない・・・・・
