Since I always played golf, I decided to try surfing for the first time while in Hawaii. When I went to the surf shop offering lessons, there was quite a crowd waiting, which was encouraging. It was a semi-private lesson, but I felt there wasn't much difference from a group lesson. The timing for paddling with the waves was entirely up to the coach. Since I was on a longboard, I was able to stand up right from the start, which was fun. However, paddling out to the ocean was tough, and that was quite challenging. I'm excited that there are more options in Hawaii to enjoy in the future.

いつもゴルフばかりだったので、せっかくのハワイなのだからと、はじめてサーフィンに挑戦しました。
催行しているサーフショップに行くと、かなりの人数が待っていて盛況。セミプライベートレッスンでしたが、グループレッスンでもさほど違いはないように思います。
波に背にしてパドリングするタイミングは全てコーチ任せ。ロングボードなので、初めから立つことができて楽しかったです。ただ、沖に向かってのパドリングは辛くて、これだけは大変でした。
ハワイの選択肢が増えてこれからも楽しみです。

I had a wonderful experience thanks to Maki, and I was able to spend a very enjoyable and valuable time. I was a bit anxious about seeing dolphins on the way there, but that anxiety turned out to be completely unfounded. I was able to swim with dolphins in the beautiful blue sea! It was truly a dreamlike and moving moment to swim so close to them. And to my surprise, I encountered many sea turtles as well. On the way back, I had a great time dancing hula to the ukulele on the boat until the very end. It really became a wonderful memory!

マキさんに素晴らしいアテンドをいただき、とても楽しく貴重な時間を過ごすことができました。行きの船上ではイルカに逢えるか少し不安になりましたが、そんな不安も全く嘘のよう。バッチリ！青い海でイルカと一緒に泳ぐことが出来ました。あんなに近くでイルカと一緒に泳げるなんて、まさに夢と感動の一時でした。そして、何とウミガメにもたくさん出会えるではないですか。帰りは船上でウクレレに合わせてフラダンスを踊りながら最後の最後まで楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。本当に素敵な思い出になりました！

Staff was wonderful and funny! Excellent time and views! A must do at 1000 feet!!!

We participated as a family of four. The silence at 150 meters above ground was very pleasant. Even those who were hesitant to join said it was amazing! They were very satisfied and glad they did it.

参加を躊躇していた者も最高！やって良かったと大変満足してました。

At first, my daughter, who could only swim a little, was frozen in fear when asked if she could swim. Moreover, since we had to jump in, it was quite tough for small children.

As soon as we entered the sea, we saw a pod of dolphins. It was challenging to swim while holding my daughter, but we were able to see them up close, which was moving. My daughter also forgot her fear and was amazed. The sea was very beautiful, and we even encountered a turtle.

On the way back, we encountered a whale! We were able to see it jump as well. We spent an emotional time, having multiple encounters. We also saw sea turtles from the boat several times.

I hope to participate again when my daughter is a little older.

最初は泳げるか確認され、クロール程度しか泳げない娘は恐怖で固まってしまいました。しかも、飛び込んでという流れなので、小さい子には結構厳しいです。
海に入るとすぐにイルカの群れが見れました。娘を抱えて泳ぎながらの厳しい条件ではありましたが、すぐ近くで見られて感動しました。娘も怖さを忘れて感動していました。海はとてもきれいで、カメにも会えました。
帰りの船ではクジラにも遭遇！ジャンプも見れました。何度も会うことが出来て、感動しっぱなしの時間をすごしました。ウミガメも何度も船上から見られました。
娘がもう少し大きくなったら、また参加したいなと思います。

I participated in this tour for the first time in seven years. The members were the same as seven years ago, so it was fun to see people who had changed in appearance and those who hadn’t changed at all.

Now, the guide who picked us up in the morning spoke suspicious Japanese, and during the car ride, he explained everything in English without any warnings, and we arrived at the destination. Even there, the explanations were in English, and just when I was wondering about it, he finally explained in Japanese, which relieved my whole family.

At the local boat, they provided proper assistance in Japanese. What was wonderful was that we had about an hour for sandbar, turtle watching, and snorkeling, so even my wife, who can't swim, had a great time snorkeling with a life jacket and float. Perhaps we looked like we were having too much fun, as my parents in their 70s decided to try snorkeling for the first time! However, they needed help right away ( ;∀; ). They said they were still okay, but I think it was a nice decision to get assistance.

For lunch, we had hamburgers, which were very delicious, and I wanted a second helping. Also, the crew here was very cheerful and lifted our spirits with their "Aloha!" greetings. The guide who picked us up in the morning played the guitar and sang during lunchtime, which seemed to be part of his job. Overall, it was a great experience. I would like to participate again when my daughter is able to snorkel.

このツアーに７年ぶりに参加しました。
メンバーも７年前と変わらないメンバーでしたので、見た目が変わった人やまったく変わらない人など楽しかったです。
さて、今回も朝迎えに来たガイドさんが、あやしい日本語、車内では、英語で全部説明、何の注意点もなく、現地へ到着しました。現地でも英語での説明で、あれ？と思っていたところ、やっと日本語で説明して頂いたので、家族全員ほっと一安心。
現地の船では日本語できちんと対応してもらいました。すばらしいのは、サンドバーとカメウォッチ、さらにはシュノーケルが１Ｈぐらいあったので、泳げない嫁でも、ライフジャケットと浮棒？でとても楽しくシュノーケルをしていました。今回あまりに私たち夫婦が楽しそうにみえたのか？、７０代の両親がシュノーケリングに初挑戦！！したところ・・・すぐにヘルプで助けられました( ;∀;)
本人曰くまだまだ大丈夫だったはずと言っていますが、やっぱり助けて頂いたのはナイス判断だったと思います。
ランチは、ハンバーガーでしたがとてもおいしく、おかわりがほしいくらいでした。また、ここのクルーはとても陽気でアローーーーーーーハァーのあいさつで気分を楽しくしてくれました。朝迎えに来たガイドは、ランチタイムに、ギターを弾いて歌っていましたが、結局それが仕事みたいでした。全体的にとても良かったです。娘がシュノーケリングできるようになったらまた参加したいと思いました。

Motion sickness medication is a must. The view from the boat is great, and riding in the submarine is fun, but there weren't many fish on the seabed... I thought they had artificially created a fishing ground on the sandy bottom. It's a 45-minute experience of watching the little fish gather there. Since it takes about three hours, please weigh it against other events you want to do before deciding to participate!

酔い止めは必須です。船からの眺めは良いし、潜水艦に乗るのも楽しいのですが、海底に魚は…あまりいませんでした。
もともと砂地に人工的に魚場を作ったんだなと思いました。そこに集まる小さなお魚達を見つめる45分です。
時間は３時間ほど取られるので、他にやりたいイベントと天秤かけて参加を決めて下さいね！

I tried surfing for the first time. They teach you carefully, so I think anyone can do it. However, I couldn't stand up even once. It was about two hours in the morning, but my whole body is sore. You can't bring your phone or camera, so if you have a partner, I recommend having them take pictures for you. Of course, the shop staff will take videos and photos, but they sell them for over $50, which is a bit expensive. My wife also participated, but she got seasick and had to give up early. If you're prone to motion sickness, you'll need some medication for that.

初めてサーフィンをしました。丁寧に教えてくれるので、誰でもできると思います。ただ私は一度も立ち上がれませんでした。午前中2時間ほどでしたが、全身が筋肉痛です。携帯やカメラは持って行けないので、もしパートナーがいれば取ってもらうことをお勧めします。もちろんショップのかたが動画と写真を撮ってくれますが、50ドル以上で販売されますので、少し高いですね。妻も参加しましたが、船酔いのようになってしまい早々にギブアップ。酔いやすい方は酔い止めも必要ですね。

It was an immersive tour that allowed us to fully enjoy the great nature of Kualoa. There was no wasted time, and we were able to see all the highlights. However, it was stated that long pants were absolutely necessary, but they weren't needed at all (they might be required for horseback riding). Additionally, a buffet-style lunch was included, but honestly, it wasn't very tasty. I think it's better to bring some light snacks to eat. There are plenty of spots for taking photos, but for the jungle tour, the left side of the front seats is the best for taking pictures!

クアロアの大自然を満喫できる濃密なツアーでした。時間に無駄がなく、見どころを見れます。ただ、長ズボンが必ず必要と書いてありましたが、まったく必要ありませんでした。（乗馬には必要かも）また、ビュッフェスタイルの昼食がついていましたが、正直美味しくありません。スナックなど軽く食べれるものを持っていった方が良いかと思います。写真を撮るところもいっぱいありますが、ジャングルツアーの座席は前の方の左側が写真撮りやすいです！

You might be disappointed. The experience is heavily influenced by the weather, and the boat was quite rocky on the day of the tour. Even I, who have never experienced motion sickness, became quiet towards the end. At the first point, we were forced to jump into the sea one after another after just putting on life jackets, fins, and goggles. If you're not confident in your swimming abilities, the fear can be quite overwhelming. Even though you know you won't sink, the waves were high that day, and some people panicked with the dolphins. "Shitamite~", "Okinohou~", "Yamanohou~". To be honest, you can see the pod of dolphins, but the beauty of the sea is definitely much clearer in the remote islands of Okinawa. At the other turtle point, it seemed like about half of the participants were resting on the boat due to feeling unwell. After that, there was a light snack of cheeseburgers, but I passed on it. A fellow participant said it was salty and not tasty. Also, the use of the toilet on the boat was strictly prohibited by the Japanese guide, and you should go see for yourself why. They really need to fix it soon. It's unacceptable for both to be unusable. As for the tour content, I think it's about what you would expect for the price.

がっかりするかもしれません。天候に左右されますが、当日の船は相当揺れました。乗り物酔いしたことのない私も最後の方は無口になりましたしね。最初のポイントでライフジャケット、足ひれ、ゴーグルをつけただけで次々に海に飛び込みを強制させられます。泳ぎに自信がないと恐怖は相当なものと思います。沈まないことが分かっていても当日は波が高く、パニックになる人もイルカと。「シタミテ～」「オキノホウ～」「ヤマノホウ～」。はっきり言ってイルカの群れは見えますが海のキレイさは沖縄の離島の方が断然きれいです。もうひとつのウミガメポイントでは気分不良で半分ぐらいの方は船上で休憩している印象でしたね。その後チーズバーガーの軽食でしたがパスしました。食した同行者が言うにはしょっぱくておいしくなかったそうだ。あと船上トイレの使用が日本人ガイドから厳重に禁止されていましたが、理由はまあ行って自分で見てみてください。はやく修理はした方がいいですよ。2つとも使用不能はあり得ません。ツアー内容は値段の割にはまあこんなものではないかと。

Everything was amazing.
I want to go to the sandbar again.

I was also surprised by the high quality of the hamburgers. Both the taste and the portion size were perfect.
It was great to have a wide variety of drinks as well.

Everything was good, but the instruction on how to use the snorkel really stood out. I felt like I was having fun for the first time with snorkeling! I was able to swim with many fish.

I had my kids with me, and there were preparations like children's goggles and life jackets, so the kids enjoyed it too.

It was a really great tour. I highly recommend it.

ハンバーガーのクオリティの高さにも驚きました。味、ボリュームどちらも満点です。
飲み物も種類たくさんで良かったです。

全て良かったのですが、シュノーケルの扱い方を教えて頂いたのがポイントアップです。シュノーケルが初めて楽しい！って思えました。たくさんの魚と一緒に泳げました。

子供連れでしたが、子供用のゴーグル、ライフジャケットなど準備があり子供も楽しめました。

すごく良いツアーでした。オススメです。

As mentioned in the experience, very little Japanese was understood, and the guide finished explaining in English before the tour began. The guide started without being able to communicate with us Japanese participants... Perhaps it was a warning? Other Japanese participants also looked confused. I felt anxious. We hardly speak any English. We were flustered because we couldn't understand the explanations about our luggage keys. Later, I found out that there was one person who could speak Japanese. After that, I felt relieved. Also, the buggy driver didn't understand Japanese at all, but when we managed to convey that we couldn't speak English, he made a great effort to communicate with us, for which we are grateful! The buggy ride was amazing! We returned to the hotel covered in sand due to the heavy dust, but the refreshing feeling was incredible! Thank you very much! ^_^

体験談にあった通り、日本語はほとんど通じず、ガイドさんは説明を英語で話し終わり、ツアーがはじまりました。
ガイドの方も私たち日本人に通じていないままスタート…。多分注意事項？他の日本人の方もポカーンとしていました。不安でした。
私たちはほとんど英語は話せません。荷物の鍵など説明がわからず、アタフタしてしまいました。
後になってわかったのですが、1名だけ日本語を話せる方がいました。
それからは安心できました。
あと、バギーの方も全く日本語がわからない方でしたが、英語を喋れないと何とか伝えると、一生懸命私たちに伝える努力をしてくれて感謝です！
バギー最高でした！かなりの砂埃で全身砂まみれでホテルに帰りましたが、爽快感半端ないです！

The view was absolutely wonderful. Our 1 hour UTV ride went by quickly. Our guide was very nice and she took several cool photos for us. The weather was perfect and we would return again on our next trip.

Fantastic experience! The turtles were amazing as advertised. Boat crew was friendly and helpful! I recommend this excursion. It was a great way to start our Hawaiian vacation.

The driver of the shuttle is very helpful and funny. The design of the activity is very family friendly. Kids won't feel too tired or bored.

There are many similar tours, and I was a bit confused during the pickup. Since there are few staff members who can speak Japanese, it might be tough if you can't speak at all.

The show itself was enjoyable, but there were some experiences that were not available on the day.

似たようなツアーが多く、ピックアップ時に少し迷った。
日本語を対応できるスタッフが少ない、もしくはいないため多少なりと喋れないと辛いかもしれない。

ショー自体は楽しかったが、体験できるものが当日ないものもあった。

The captain and crew were fantastic. They made sure everyone had a great experience. Being underwater on the scooter was a little piece of heaven as I do not swim. I got to see the beauty of the ocean. The view of crater and fish etc. Were a work of art. I will return the next time I visit and every time after that!!!!! Bring a smile, towel, and sunscreen.

The beautiful sea was amazing to see from above! As soon as you arrive, you board the boat to start, so I recommend that those who are prone to seasickness take motion sickness medication in advance.

綺麗な海が上空から見渡せて最高でした！到着してすぐに船に乗ってスタートとなるので、船酔いしやすい方は事前に酔い止めを飲むことをオススメします。

This was my second time participating. I had made a reservation for Christmas, which thankfully was still being held, but it was canceled due to bad weather. Fortunately, I was able to adjust to another day and participate.

The boat had changed since my last visit, and it had been upgraded in various ways! Unlike Mikurajima, it was disappointing that diving was prohibited where the dolphins were, so we could only watch from above, but I was glad to see them multiple times.

Since it was a busy season, there were many participants, and I noticed several people getting bruised from bumping into each other while swimming. There were also quite a few people feeling seasick. Taking precautions is important.

It was disappointing that I couldn't see any turtles while snorkeling this time, but the crew was great at keeping the energy up, and the hula was wonderful, so it was definitely worth participating!

2回目の参加でした。
クリスマスもありがたいことに催行されていたので予約していたのですが悪天候のためキャンセルになりました。運良く別の日に調整できて参加できました。

前回から船も変わっていて、色々とパワーアップしていました！
御蔵島と違い、イルカがいるところでは潜るのが禁止だったので上から見るだけなのが残念でしたが、何度も見られたので良かったです。
繁忙期なので参加者が多く、一緒に泳ぐのでぶつかってあざになっている方が多く見られました。あと船酔いしてる方も多々見られました。対策は重要です。

今回はシュノーケリングで亀が見られなかったのが残念でしたが、クルーのかたが盛り上げ上手で、フラも素敵でしたし、参加した甲斐ありました！

It was hard to get up in the morning while traveling, but thanks to that, I was able to spend a fulfilling morning.

The scenery was amazing.

Unfortunately, I couldn't swim with the dolphins. However, two adorable dolphins swam alongside our boat for a while, which was very soothing.

Important note!! Many people suffered from seasickness. It's essential to take motion sickness medication from places like ABC Mart beforehand.

We also took the motion sickness medication we got from ABC Mart as soon as we woke up, and we had no problems at all. Oh, I felt a little nauseous on the way back, though.

The staff were incredibly cute and enthusiastic!!

Even if you can't meet the dolphins, you can still have a great time.

朝なかなか起きられない旅先ですが、おかげさまで、充実の午前中を過ごすことができました。

景色最高。

イルカは、残念ながら一緒に泳ぐ事は出来ませんでした。ただし、かわいらしい二頭が、その後
船にずっと付き添って泳いでいてくれ、和みました。

重要事項!!　多くの方が船酔いで、苦しんでいました。
ABCマートなどで、必ず酔い止めを飲んでおくことが大切です。

私たちもABCマートで求めた酔い止めを、起床とともにともに飲み、全く問題なく過ごすことができました。
あ、帰り際には少しだけ気持ち悪くなりましたが。

スタッフの方々の可愛さと盛り上げが最高です!!

もしイルカに会えなくても、充分に楽しめます

The seating was at a round table for eight on the first floor, and we were seated with others. There was live music on the first floor as well, but the second floor seemed better. The meal included salad, chicken, fish, pasta, and chocolate cake, but the taste was just okay. For drinks, the buffet course charges for everything except the welcome drink. After the meal, you can freely walk around the second and third floors and the deck. The fireworks lasted for five minutes starting at 7:45. While waiting for the sunset on the second-floor deck, we even caught a glimpse of a whale for a moment.

席は一階の8人がけ丸テーブルで相席でした。一階も生演奏がありましたが、二階席の方が良さそうでした。食事は、サラダ、チキン、魚、パスタ、チョコレートケーキで、味はいまいちでした。飲み物は、buffet コースは、ウェルカムドリンク以外有料です。食事が終われば二階、三階、デッキ自由に歩き回れます。花火は、7:45分から5分間でした。二階のデッキでサンセット待ってるいるときに、鯨も一瞬見れました。

The guide was very kind, and they took a lot of wonderful photos at the sandbar. I was also able to see many sea turtles.

案内の人がすごく親切で、さんどばーで素敵な写真いっぱい撮ってくれました。ウミガメにもたくさん会うことが出来ました。

We participated as a family of three, including my college student son. He requested to do something that can't be experienced in Japan. We joined the two-hour horseback riding course at Kualoa Ranch, which we had been interested in for a while, with transportation included. While waiting, we watched a five-minute Japanese explanation DVD to confirm the key points. We quickly mounted the horses and started riding. As we explored the great outdoors of Kualoa Ranch, we soon saw the ocean on our right. The horses were very well-trained, so as long as we followed the instructions, there were no issues riding. The scenery we saw while riding felt particularly magnificent. There were explanations about filming locations for movies, which added to our enjoyment. The instructor spoke mostly in English, but we had a great time. All three of us were very satisfied. It was a horseback riding experience that is hard to come by in Japan.

大学生の息子と夫婦の3人で参加。日本では体験できない事をやりたいと言う息子のリクエスト。以前から気になっていたクアロアランチの送迎付き乗馬2時間コースに参加。待ち時間に5分程の日本語の解説のDVDを観て要点を確認。すぐに馬にまたがり乗馬スタート。クアロアランチの大自然の中を散策し、しばらくすると右手に海が見えてきます。非常に訓練された馬なので、解説通りにすれば問題なく乗れます。騎乗しながらみる景色は一段と素晴らしく感じられました。映画の撮影場所などの解説もあり、楽しめました。インストラクターはほぼ全て英語でしたが、楽しめました。3人とも大満足でした。日本ではなかなか体験できない乗馬体験でした。

I thought horseback riding could be done anywhere and that you had to wear a helmet, but it was really great! It was the first time all the horses were so gentle! The mountains and ocean visible from the horse really felt like Hawaii, and I'm glad I had the horseback riding experience here.

乗馬なんてどこでもできる、ヘルメットもつけないといけないのか、、と思っていましたが、とても良かったです！
馬たちが皆んなこんなに大人しかったのははじめてでした！
馬から見える山々と海もザ・ハワイという感じで、ここで乗馬体験してよかったです。

I was really able to see a lot of sharks up close! I was surprised at how big the gaps in the cage were at first, but it was safe and enjoyable!

ほんとに至近距離でほんとにたくさんのサメをみることができました！
思っていたよりもかごの隙間が大きくて最初はびっくりしましたが安全で楽しめました！

There were plenty of fish while snorkeling, and we also played beach volleyball. The weather that day wasn't very good, but I had a great time! The staff were all very kind, and I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

The guide was friendly, funny, and it was really great. The sea was rough, so we couldn't see any sea turtles, but it was still satisfying.

ガイドさんがフレンドリーで面白くてとてもよかったです。海が荒れていて海亀は見れなかったけどそれでも満足いくものでした。

It was a lot of fun with thrills and excitement that are hard to experience in Japan. I think it's safe and suitable for a wide range of ages. I want to go again.

The staff were great. They were helpful in pointing things out and when helpful when a tour member was unwell.
