The Manoa Falls tour was canceled the day before. I only found out about the cancellation through an email, and it wasn't until I received a phone call the night before that I learned about it. From there, I requested to change to another tour and was able to participate in the Waimea Falls tour. The guides from the tour company Dolphin & You (driver John, Toshio, and Daisuke) were very cheerful and fun, and even though it was a downpour during the tour, I had a great time.

前日にマノアの滝ツアーが中止になった。中止の連絡がメールだけだったので中止のことを知ったのが前日の夜に電話があり初めて知った。そこから別のツアーに変更をお願いして、なんとかワイメアの滝ツアーに参加することができた。ツアー会社ドルフィン＆ユーのガイド（運転手ジョンさん、トシオさん、ダイスケさん）はとても愉快で楽しく、土砂降りのツアーでしたが楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。

This tour is impressive. We two adults and one kid (5 years old) really enjoyed the tour. There are roughly 3 hours from leaving and back to the wharf, including the round trips (20 minutes), preparation and cleaning (20 minutes), and the total number at Sand bar for playing is about 2 hours 20 minutes, which is enough for playing kayak, paddle board, snookering, volleyball, and relaxing.

The place itself is safe. KBOS assigned one or two staffs for each kind of activity, and they provide help for whoever needs it. The water depth was 3~4 ft when we were there, and the staff said the water depth is 2~5 ft depending on the tides. Little kids friendly as long as they are not sacred of swimming.

Simple lunch and drink were provided. Live music on the boat. The staffs are really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

We self drive from Waikiki, which took us about 40 minutes before the lunch time. There are a lot of parking spots.

We will come back when we visit Oahu again.

Although it had been sunny until yesterday, it suddenly started pouring rain, and the tour itself was canceled. However, about five hours prior, I was able to check whether it was canceled through the reservation information screen in the email, which allowed me to change my plans for the next activities.

昨日まで晴れていたのに突然大雨が降ってきて、ツアー自体がキャンセルになってしまったが、5時間前くらいにはメールの予約情報画面からキャンセルかどうか確認することができ、次の行動予定を変更することが出来ました。

It was my first time horseback riding, but there were instructions in Japanese, so it’s a tour that Japanese people can participate in without any issues. We rode for two hours, so my backside got a bit tired, but the scenery was amazing, and it was such a good experience that it felt short! I definitely want to do it again.

初めての乗馬でしたが、日本語でのインストラクションもあり、日本人でも問題なく参加できるツアーです。
2時間乗るので、少しお尻がつかれましたが、景色が最高で、短く感じるくらい良い体験でした！またぜひやりたいです。

This was my first major vacation after being isolated due to COVID. Being immunocompromised makes finding activities difficult. We contemplated the UTV/ATV tour, in hopes of social distancing. However, we settled on the bus tour at the last minute. We got the early Monday morning tour our last day on Oahu. The bus was almost empty, so we comfortably social distanced. (The later morning buses were definitely far busier) Nick was a great host and generally joyful human being. He made the experience even better for us, despite my limitations. This place is beautiful and gorgeously maintained. Cannot miss this! If I get back to Oahu and I am well enough, I’ll be joining the horse back riding tour.

We had great time at sandbar playing volleyball. Food was good. First time snorkeling but the whole crew was amazing and helped us. We saw lot of fishes, manta ray, turtles. Highly recommend!!

I participated with a friend.
For two hours, we were swayed by the smart horses, visiting many places like the sea, mountains, and movie filming locations.
It was an experience that you absolutely can't have in Japan, and it was truly the best!
As everyone says, your leg and butt muscles will get sore, so please be careful (laughs).
But it was such a wonderful experience that I didn't mind that at all!

It was a bit hard to find the location, but I had so much fun from the moment I got on the boat. The moment we went up was quick and not scary at all. It became a great memory.

I participated in a buggy tour. The scenery was magnificent, and I felt a sense of freedom that I can't experience in Japan. I thought I would get extremely dirty based on the reviews, but it was better than I expected. (It seems like it would be a good idea to take a shower before dinner after returning to the hotel.) The waiting time until the bus departure felt a bit wasted, but it was nice to relax and wait while enjoying the stunning views.

景色が壮大で絶景で日本では体験できない開放感を感じることができました。
口コミをみてものすごく汚れるかと思っていましたが、思っていたよりはマシでした。(ホテルに帰ってからごはん前にシャワーは浴びた方がよさそうです)
帰りのバスの時刻までの待ち時間が少しもったいなかったですが、絶景をみながらのんびり待つのもまたよかったです。

Me and my husband did several activities in the Big Island and Oahu and the experience we had in the Sandbar was the best out of all. The reservation was easy and the staffs/crews on the boat were very friendly. They delivered the information and guideline very well and were willing to help. Kayaking was so fun and relaxing and snorkeling was amazing(I can't swim but the life vest they provided helped me to explore the ocean). We saw more fish than we did at Hanauma Bay. I definitely recommend this activity to everyone who visits Oahu. Next time I go, I would bring a jacket or an extra beach towel with me because I felt a little cold on the way back(They give you hot tea to help).

So good to swim with Leho the dolphin we were assigned to be with! Melissa taught us so much about dolphins that hour. The photos showed us smiling bigger than we never had before! Super fun and excellent! It was part of our 50th anniversary celebration.

If you're expecting a sandbar where you can walk when the tide goes out, it might be a bit different. Still, I had a wonderful and elegant time with cheerful instructors, including some Japanese, and enjoyed live music on the boat.

There was a raft near the snorkeling, kayaking, and SUP spots, and spending time sunbathing while enjoying the view from there was fantastic.

While being pulled on a banana boat, I happened to see a sea turtle swimming nearby!

いわゆる、潮が引いて歩けるサンドバーを期待すると、ちょっと違うかもしれません。
それでも日本人も含む、陽気なインストラクターさんと、船内は生演奏の音楽もあってとても気持ちがよく優雅な時間を過ごせました。

シュノーケル、カヤック、SUPスポットの近くにイカダがあって、その上で景色を眺めながら日向ぼっこをしている時間も最高でした。

バナナボートに乗って引っ張られている最中、たまたまですが、ぷかぷか泳いでいるウミガメを見ることもできました！

The buggy can accommodate up to five people, with two of them registered as drivers. A Japanese driver's license is required for drivers.

The weather was great, and I was able to enjoy the best views. As rumored, you will get completely covered in dust and dirt. After the tour, you can wash off the dirt at the wash area, but having wet wipes is convenient. My face had clear marks from the helmet and goggles and turned black, haha.

Each person received one face mask on the day, which is useful for covering your mouth while driving.

The instructor was very humorous and occasionally made jokes while explaining at photo spots. The explanations are in English, so if you understand English, you can enjoy it even more, but even if you don't, it will still be a memorable experience.

天気が良く、最高の景色を堪能できました。
噂通り、全身砂ぼこりで真っ黒になります。ツアー後、洗い場で汚れを落とすこともできますが、ウェットティッシュがあると便利です。
顔はヘルメット・ゴーグルの跡がきれいについて、黒くなりました笑

フェイスマスクは当日ひとり１まいずつもらえました。口を覆うことができるので、走行中、役に立ちます。

インストラクターさんは、とてもユーモアのある方で時折ジョークを交えてフォトスポットで説明をしてくれます。説明は英語なので、英語が理解できるとより楽しめますが、理解できなくても十分楽しい思い出になります。

It was a great experience and best time I and my friends had in Honolulu. All staff was very nice and helped us to enjoy the activities safely. Thank you and we will visit again!

It was my first horseback riding experience, and it became the best memory!
Basically, there is no explanation about the area; it's an activity to enjoy the scenery and interact with the horses.
I had heard that the instructor only speaks English, but they provided necessary instructions in simple Japanese, so there were no difficulties.
The horse (Joe) was also very capable, moving forward and stopping without needing much direction.
Towards the end, my back and legs started to hurt, so that's something to be cautious about.
(I was checked on-site to ensure I was wearing shoes that covered my toes. They also mentioned that long pants are required, but there were people riding in shorts as well.)

インストラクターは英語しか話さないと聞いていましたが、必要な指示等は簡単な日本語でしてくれるので不自由はありませんでした。
馬(ジョーくん)も非常に優秀で、特に指示を出さなくても進んだり止まったりしてくれました。
終盤は腰や足が痛くなってくるので、その点は注意が必要です。
(しっかりつま先が隠れる靴を履いているかは現地でも確認されました。長ズボンも必須と言われていましたが、半ズボンで乗馬している人もいました)

The ATV tour was amazing. My daughter and nephews loved the little race track session within the tour. The tour guides were very friendly and personable.

My 11-year-old son was very happy. I recommend it. He seemed to have fun catching a fish. The staff were also kind and taught us patiently. In the end, they cooked the fish we caught and let us eat it.

１１さいの息子が大分喜びました。お勧めです。１匹釣れてたのしそうでした。またスタッフも優しくて丁寧におしえてくれます。最後、釣れた魚を料理して、たべさせてくれました。

The explanations are all in English, so it might be difficult to understand unless you have a certain level of proficiency. However, the staff is very kind, and they will answer your questions gently. After the tour, I had to wait about two hours for the return shuttle bus, so I think it would be better if they could increase the frequency of the buses. The breathtaking views were amazing, and it was a fantastic experience!

説明は全て英語なので、ある程度分かる方でないと理解できないかもしれません。しかし、スタッフの方はとても優しいので、聞けば優しく答えてくれます。ツアーが終わってから、帰りの送迎バスまで2時間ほど待たされたので、もう少し便数を増やしてもらえると良いと思いました。

The staff are dedicated to ensuring everyone has a great time, so you can enjoy the experience safely and happily. With Japanese staff members Miki and Yuya present, there's no need to worry; they make sure you have fun. I was able to meet several types of dolphins and sea turtles, and it was enjoyable once again.

The waves were higher than during my last experience in the summer, and it was windy and cold when we went out to sea, with the water temperature also being low. I wore a rash guard to prevent sunburn, but the wet rash guard got cold in the wind, and I was shivering the whole time. Since you can move around freely during the experience, you might get sunburned, but the scenery is wonderful, and I recommend staying on the second floor to combat seasickness and the cold.

The marine activities were fantastic, especially the slide from the boat! Professional photographer Yuya created bubble rings for us. I’m looking forward to the photos.

スタッフの方たちが、絶対にみんなに楽しんで欲しい！という気持ちで頑張ってくれるので、安全に楽しく体験出来ます。
日本スタッフのミキさんと裕也さんがいてくださって、なんの不安もなく楽しませてくれます。
数種類のイルカとウミガメにも会うことができ、今回も楽しかったです。

前回夏に体験した時よりも波が高く、沖に出ると風も冷たく、水温も引くかったです。日焼け防止にラッシュガードを上下着用していましたが、風があたると濡れたラッシュガードが冷えてしまい、終始震えていました。途中から席の移動が自由に出来るので、日焼けはしますが、景色も素晴らしいですし、船酔いと寒さ対策には2階にいることをおすすめします。

マリンアクティビティは、船からのスライダーが最高でした！
プロカメラマンの裕也さんがバブルリングをやってくれました。今から写真が楽しみです。

In Japan, you can enjoy a refreshing ride around a ranch surrounded by mountains and the sea on a buggy. It was an exhilarating and moving experience that made me forget the passage of time.

日本では、なかなか味わうことができない山と海に囲まれた牧場を、バギーで爽快に走り回ることができます。時間が経つのが忘れるほど、興奮と感動の体験でした。

We had a sunset cruising experience for our family of four, and we were blessed with great weather, allowing us to have the best time. The food was delicious, and after enjoying the beautiful sunset, we watched the fireworks from Hilton Village, accompanied by live jazz music. Everything was perfect. We truly made wonderful memories.

親子4人のサンセットクルージング、天気にも恵まれて、最高の時間を過ごすことが出来ました。料理も美味しく、美味しいサンセットを見た後は、ヒルトンヴィレッジから上がる花火、そして生演奏のJAZZ、すべて完璧でした。本当に良い想い出が出来ました。

The weather was nice on the day of the trip, the sea was beautiful, and I was able to see a lot of fish. The English guide was very kind, but if you can't speak English, you won't know the meeting place and time for the return. It would be very helpful if you could provide guidance in Japanese using a whiteboard or notes.

当日はお天気も良くて、海が綺麗で魚めたくさん見られました。英語ガイドさんはとても親切でしたが、英語が話せないと帰りの待ち合わせ場所や時間が分かりません。
ホワイトボードやメモなど日本語で案内してもらえるととっても助かります。

We participated in the horseback riding starting at 8 AM with four people. After seeing everyone's reviews, I noticed that those who had transportation included mentioned having time until the return bus, so we decided to join without transportation. We took a round trip with Hanataxi, and they picked us up on time without any issues.

None of us had horseback riding experience, and our backsides did get sore, but riding on well-trained, gentle horses while enjoying the magnificent scenery for about 90 minutes was a great experience. Our group had one instructor for every six people. Along the way, they took photos for us and sent them via AirDrop at the end, which made for a nice keepsake.

I noticed some participants were wearing shorts, but since the horses frequently relieve themselves, I recommend wearing long pants.

8時からの乗馬に4名で参加しました。皆さんの口コミを見て送迎付きだと帰りのバスまで時間があるとの事だったので送迎なしで参加しました。往復ハナタクシーで行きましたが、予約時間通りに送迎してもらい問題なかったです。
4名共に乗馬経験はなくお尻が痛くなりましたが、訓練された穏やかな馬にのり壮大な景観を見ながら約90分の乗馬はいい経験になりました。私達のグループは6名に一人のインストラクターでした。途中では写真を撮ってくださり最後にエアードロップで送ってもらえていい記念になりました。
短パンで参加されている方もいらっしゃいましたが、頻回に馬が排泄をするので長ズボンがおすすめです。

Professional , courteous clean and food was great experience of a life time. really really good. Entertainment and everything above and beyond approach.

I went parasailing for the first time, and it was an amazing experience. The sky was quieter and more stable than I expected, allowing me to enjoy the scenery and the height. The only downside was that the weather wasn't great. There were many people from Japan, so we took photos and videos of each other and shared them, but there was no photo service provided as part of the tour.

初めてパラセーリングをしましたがとても素晴らしい体験ができました。
上空は思っていた以上に静かで安定していて景色や高さを楽しめました。お天気がいまいちだったのでそこだけが残念でした。
日本の方が多くいらっしゃったのでお互いに写真やムービーを撮り合って共有しましたが、ツアーとしては写真サービスはなかったです。

The weather was unfortunate, as it was cloudy and rainy, making it cold to enter the sea. However, the support from the guide was wonderful, and I was able to participate comfortably. The captain, like a behind-the-scenes supporter, made charcoal-grilled hamburgers, and during the sea turtle watching, he skillfully guided the boat. I think it would have been perfect if the weather had been nice, but I still enjoyed seeing the beautiful coral and swimming tropical fish.

天気は残念で曇ってたら、雨が降ったりと海に入るのにも寒かったのですが、ガイドの方のフォローが素晴らしく、気持ち良く参加できました。縁の下の力持ち的にキャプテンが炭火焼きのハンバーガーを作ってくれたり、ウミガメウォッチングでは上手く船を誘導してくれてました。
天気が良かったら最高だとは思いますが、綺麗な珊瑚と泳ぐ熱帯魚を見て楽しめました。

The food was delicious, and the level of crowding was not too much, which was great. The show was enjoyable for the whole family, with the men's powerful performances and the women's captivating dances.

We participated as a couple. The woman guiding us was calm and reassuring. We enjoyed a leisurely one-hour walk along a designated route overseas. Although it was November, the weather across the North Shore was poor that day, with occasional light rain.

I haven't experienced other horseback riding, but it might be lacking for those seeking an adventurous element.

夫婦二人で参加しました。
案内してくれる女性も穏やかな方で安心でした。
海外の決まったルートをのんびり1時間くらいお散歩でした。
11月でしたが、当日はノースショア全体の天気が悪く、たまに霧雨が降るような感じでした。

他の乗馬は未体験ですが、アドベンチャー的な要素を求めている方には物足りないかもしれません。

After our children became adults, we took a trip to Hawaii as a couple for the first time in over 20 years. We wanted to do something memorable, so we signed up for parasailing. Although I felt a bit scared, the weather was great on the day of the activity, and once we were up in the air, it was stable and we enjoyed the refreshing breeze while taking in the stunning views of Honolulu. At the end, we had the usual splash in the sea, but they also check in advance how much you'll be submerged, which was very reassuring. I would love to do it again the next time we visit Hawaii.

子供たちも社会人になり、20数年ぶりに夫婦2人でのハワイ旅行。何か思い出に残ることをやってみようと思い、パラセイリングに申し込みました。
少し怖い気持ちもありましたが、当日は天気も良く、空に上がってみれば安定していて、気持ちよい空気の中、ホノルルの絶景を堪能できました。
最後はお決まりの海ポチャになりますが、どの程度海に浸かるかも事前に確認してくれるので、とても安心です。
次にハワイに行くときもやってみたいと思います。
