The tour description stated that it would be in English only, but upon arrival, there was a complete explanation of Kualoa in Japanese. I was very grateful for that. I also received help when the locker wasn't working properly. The activities were great. The instructors were very friendly. I came to love horseback riding.

ツアーの説明では、英語のみとなっていたが、到着後にクアロアの全体説明が日本語であった。とてもありがたかった。ロッカーがうまく作動しない時も助けてもらえた。アクティビティはさいかでした。インストラクターはとてもフレンドリーでした。乗馬が好きになりました。

Our kids had a blast, not sure if I would do this if I had older kids / adults, as the views were okay!

Facing my fear was so worth it, the experience was so thrilling and the sharks are so cute once your up close!

We would love to munch at this buffet again, everything was so flavorful! The evening was a wonderful experience.

This farm was awesome, and so close to Haleiwa to jump over after. Get a car and come up here, it is so fun!!

I was very satisfied as I got to see the ocean, the mountains, and plenty of movie filming locations!!! The horses were very smart, and I felt safe riding them☺︎ I want to participate again!!

It was not the best weather day… raining but it cleared when we boarded the boat to Kaneohe bay. The trip was pleasant with warm welcoming, music, and a light but satisfying breakfast. The crew were amazing. So helpful and very knowledgeable and safety conscientious.
The snorkeling was beyond our expectations and the day out on the sandbar was such fun with the crew being extremely attentive to our needs.
We had an amazing day . Can’t wait to do it again

The female instructor was friendly and supportive, making the tour very enjoyable. At several points, we were able to take photos, and we took breaks to avoid getting tired, which was reassuring. By pedaling and moving around myself, I was able to truly appreciate the vastness of Kualoa. Along the way, we also visited a tunnel where panels introduced the movies filmed at Kualoa. We even took videos using a jeep that resembled something out of Jurassic Park, which became a wonderful memory. I participated in an ATV tour in the past, and I had a great time again this time.

インストラクターの女性が気さくで優しくフォローしてくれたので、とても楽しいツアーになりました。いくつかのポイントで写真を撮って頂いたり､疲れない様に休憩も取りながら走るので安心です。自分で漕いで動き回ったのでクアロアの広さを改めて実感できました。途中、クアロアで撮影が行われた映画ごとにパネルで紹介されているトンネル？のようなところも見学できました。そこに置いてあるジープを使ってジュラシックパークさながらの動画も撮って頂き、とても思い出になりました。過去にATVツアーに参加しましたが今回もとても楽しめました。

I highly recommend this for activity beginners! The reception and the experience were both amazing!

I participated in December. I didn't have high expectations, but horseback riding in the wonderful scenery where you can see both the sea and the mountains was a valuable experience. It was very exciting to ride up the mountain slopes. I was almost a beginner at horseback riding, but I was able to ride for two hours without any issues.

There are various movie filming locations along the course, so I think movie lovers will enjoy it even more.

Although I participated in December, the weather was nice, and it was quite hot for the two hours. I recommend applying sunscreen if you decide to participate. Also, the person accompanying us during the horseback riding was not Japanese, so all the explanations about the filming locations were in English. Since you are on the horse for two hours, if you're not used to it, your butt and thighs might get sore!

あまり期待していませんでしたが、海も山も見える素晴らしい景色の中での乗馬は貴重な体験でした。馬に乗って山の斜面を登っていくのでとてもエキサイティングでした。
乗馬はほぼ初心者でしたが、2時間問題なく乗馬できました。
コースの途中に様々な映画のロケ地があるので、映画好きの方ならなお楽しめると思います。

12月の参加でしたが天気が良く、2時間なのでとても暑かったです。参加される場合は日焼け止めを塗るのをおすすめします。
また、乗馬で付き添ってくださる方は日本人ではないので、ロケ地の説明はすべて英語でした。
それから2時間ずっと馬の上なので慣れてないとお尻や股が痛くなります笑

Three days before the Honolulu Marathon, I was wondering if a two-hour horseback riding course would be too much. However, thanks to the very smart horses that knew the entire route and guided us expertly, I had a great time without feeling tired at all.

For a full two hours, we rode through the forest, enjoyed views of the ocean, and saw all the filming locations from Jurassic Park in the grassy valleys of the mountains.

There was plenty of time before and after, so we were able to do some shopping and enjoy a delicious lunch. It was a lot of food, so sharing between the two of us was more than enough.

Lockers are available for $5 a day, the restrooms are clean, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The staff is very friendly, and there was even a briefing in Japanese beforehand.

ホノルルマラソン3日前に、乗馬2時間コースは無謀かな？と思っていましたが、とてもお利口な馬が全てルートもわかっていて、上手に案内してくれたおかげで全く疲れる事なく本当に楽しめました。
2時間たっぷり、森を抜けて、海を眺め、山の谷間の草むらからジェラシックパークのロケ場所まで全て見る事ができましたよ。
前後に充分な時間もあるので、買い物をしたり、lunchも美味しく食べました。多かったのでふたりでシェアで充分でした。
ロッカーは1日5ドル、トイレも清潔でクーラーも効いており申し分ありません。
スタッフも皆親切です。日本語での事前説明もありました。

I found this tour when I was thinking about going to Haleiwa to eat garlic shrimp. I had also wanted to try horseback riding for a while, and riding by the beach sounded wonderful, so I signed up.

Kaz, our Japanese guide, cheerfully talked to us during the drive and introduced the scenery we saw from the car window. The other members of the tour were all nice people, and when they heard it was our honeymoon, they applauded. The horse I rode was a bit mischievous and kept moving forward, which was scary at first, but I got used to it and had a great time. There were two instructors who closely watched over us, which made me feel safe. They also took a lot of pictures along the way!

After returning to Haleiwa, we went to the garlic shrimp food truck recommended by Kaz. Thanks to him making a phone call, we were able to enjoy delicious garlic shrimp without having to wait. This gave us extra time to visit Matsumoto Shave Ice and enjoy some shops. On the way back, instead of just dropping us off at the meeting point, they took us close to our hotel. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much!

ハレイワに行ってガーリックシュリンプを食べたいなぁと思っていた時に見つけたこちらのツアー。乗馬もしてみたいなと以前から思っており、海辺で乗馬なんて素敵！と思い申し込みました。
日本語ガイドのカズさんは行きの車内で明るくお話して下さり、車窓からの景色の紹介をしてくださいました。ツアーに参加されたメンバーの方も良い方ばかりで、ハネムーンというと拍手して下さいました。乗馬はやんちゃなお馬さんだったのか前へ前へと進んで最初は怖かったのですが、途中から慣れて楽しく過ごせました。インストラクターの方も2人ついてきちんとみて下さるので安心でした。途中写真も沢山撮ってくださいました！ハレイワに戻ってからはカズさんお勧めのガーリックシュリンプのフードトラックへ。電話をかけて下さっていたおかげで美味しいガーリックシュリンプを待たずに食べられました。そのおかげで時間も余裕ができ、マツモトシェイブアイスにも行け、雑貨屋さんなども楽しめました。帰りは集合場所でなく、ホテルの近くまでそれぞれ送ってくださいました。素敵な思い出となりました。ありがとうございました！

I was suddenly canceled on, and when I inquired, I couldn't get in touch, so I went directly to the location, but there was no staff present. (There were also a few others waiting for the same reason.) After that, I was asked via email whether I wanted a refund or to change to another day, and when I chose to change to the next day, it was canceled again. I had changed into my swimsuit and arrived on time, but after being kept waiting, I was told that the engine was having issues. I was really looking forward to parasailing on that day, which was my last day, and I am filled with disappointment. I want my time back. I will not be making a reservation here again.

突然キャンセルされ、問い合わせましたが連絡がつかなかったので直接現地に行ったところスタッフが誰もいませんでした。(他にもちらほら同じ理由で待機しているであろう方々がいました)
その後メールで返金か別日に変更するか聞かれ、翌日に変更してもらったところ、翌日もキャンセルされました。水着にも着替え、時間通りに到着したのに待たされた挙句今日はエンジンの調子が悪いからと言われました。その日は最終日でパラセーリングを楽しみにしていたのにとても残念な気持ちでいっぱいです。時間を返して欲しいです。
もうここで予約はしません。

I received a cancellation notice because the Japanese tour didn't meet the minimum number of participants, but I joined in with an English guide and it was quite fun! I laughed a lot.

The guide talked non-stop like a radio DJ, but I got used to it surprisingly well. Since I'm in a foreign country, this is also acceptable! He spoke to us in slow English, which was nice.

It was raining at Manoa Falls, but the weather was actually quite nice for feeling the essence of Hawaii. The greenery was more vibrant, and the sound of the waterfall was very refreshing.

The ocean is great, but the mountains are nice too.

P.S. I actually participated in a trial tour with Lucky Man, the owner of this tour, four years ago. It's a shame that it seems to no longer exist, but I really enjoyed having a guide who wasn't just focused on tourism. I had hoped to see him again, but it's unfortunate.

　日本人ツアーが定員満たずキャンセルの連絡がきましたが、英語のガイドで楽人に交じって参加。。。。結構面白かったです！大爆笑。
　ラジオのDJを聞いているようにしゃべりっぱなしのガイドでしたが、耳になじんで意外といけました。一応外国に来ているんだからこれもありです！
私たちへの問いかけはゆっくり目の英語にしてくれました。（笑）
　マノアの滝は雨でしたがハワイを感じるの実はなかなかよい天候（笑）緑がより緑で滝の音ととても新鮮です。
　海もいいけど山もよいですね。
　追伸、このツアーのオーナーのラッキーマンに実は4年前にトライアルツァーに参加。。。もうないみたいで残念でしたが、観光じゃないガイドがとてもよかたです。（笑）また、お会いしたいと思っていましたが、残念でした。

I was very grateful for the detailed explanations and precautions provided by the Japanese guide for activities that could be life-threatening if one missteps, such as being in the ocean. However, I was strictly lectured about the cultural differences between Hawaii (America) and Japan, mainly regarding the tipping culture and the quality of service.

I am already aware of these differences and do not expect the same level of service as in Japan while abroad. I understand that some participants may not grasp these concepts, but the way it was conveyed felt quite condescending, almost as if the guide was ashamed of Japanese people. I understand the sentiment, but it was uncomfortable. It would have been better to casually say something like, "Please leave your tips here at the end. Feel free to ask if you have any questions," rather than raising one's voice and dragging out the explanation.

Additionally, during the dolphin watching from the boat, when the dolphins were only visible in the distance, the guide said to the Japanese guests (not us), "You've seen them, right? Hurry back to your seats!" which left a bad taste in my mouth. We participated to see the dolphins, after all. Perhaps it was due to concerns about seasickness? Again, I thought the delivery could have been better.

On a positive note, the explanations about the ecology of sea turtles and dolphins, as well as the advice for dolphin swimming, were very helpful and appreciated. Thanks to that, I was able to jump in without hesitation and saw both dolphins and honu.

Regarding the activity plan, I was looking forward to snorkeling, SUP, and water slides besides dolphin swimming, but the time was very short, and we couldn't do SUP, which was disappointing, though I understand it was due to the schedule. It felt like a bonus. If given another opportunity, I plan to participate in these marine activities with dedicated time.

While I have shared many critiques, I want to emphasize that we did not experience seasickness thanks to effective medication, and we were able to encounter dolphins and honu, which was very moving, so I am glad we participated. The staff, aside from the aforementioned issues, were all very friendly, cheerful, and enjoyable to be around. The photographer was also very nice and provided detailed answers about dolphin ecology. We were able to purchase many photos for just $65, which became a wonderful memory. Thank you.

Regarding tips, Japanese participants often wonder how much to give, so I’ll share my thoughts for reference. The Japanese guide mentioned that the usual tip is around 20%, with a minimum of about 10%. When we participated in other activities where we received excellent service, we each gave 25%. For those who provided exceptional service, we also give individual tips separately. For this activity, we tipped about 15% each. We also left about 10% collectively for the shuttle bus.

日本人ガイドは海という一歩間違えると命を落としかねないアクティビティでは細かな説明や注意事項を聞くのにとてもありがたかったです。が・・・
ハワイ(アメリカ)と日本の文化の違いについて厳しく説明されました。
主にチップ文化やサービスのクオリティの違いについてです。

そんなこと承知の上ですし海外にきて日本と同等のサービスなど求めておりません。
参加者の中にそれらを理解されていない方もおられるのかと存じますが、言い方がどうも･･･そんな日本人を恥と思っているような物言いで正直不快でした。気持ちは分かりますが･･･
無知な方がおられるのか知りませんが声を荒げてダラダラと説明する内容ではないですね。サラッとスマートに「チップは終わりにここにちょうだいねー。分からなければ気軽に聞いて」など一言添える程度で良いのでは？

あと、船上からのイルカウォッチングの際、遠くに小さく見える程度で皆さん一生懸命みていてやっと少し近づくと１分もたたないで「もう見たからいいでしょ！早く席に戻って！」と言っていた（私達ではない日本人客に対して）のにも気分が悪くなりました。
私たちはイルカを見るために参加しているのです。
船酔いを心配してでしょうか？やはりここでも言い方が悪いなと思ってしまいました。

しかし、ウミガメやイルカの生態についての説明や、ドルフィンスイムの際に見るためのアドバイス等はとてもためになり良かったです。
お陰様で躊躇なく飛び込むことができましたし、イルカもホヌも見れました。

アクティビティのプランについて
ドルフィンスイム以外のシュノーケルやSUPやウォータースライダーなども楽しみにしていましたが時間がとても短くてSUPまでは出来ずで残念でしたがタイムスケジュール的に仕方ないかなと。オマケみたいなものですね。
また機会があればこれらのマリンアクテビティは別でしっかり時間をとったものに参加しようと思います。

・・とここまで長々と余り良い感想はないですが。
私達は酔い止めも薬もしっかり効き船酔いすることもなく、イルカやホヌにも出会えとても感動しましたので参加して良かったと思っています。
スタッフの方も上記のこと以外はすごくフレンドリーで明るく楽しい方ばかりで良かったです。
カメラマンの方もとても良い方でイルカの生態についても質問すると詳しく教えていただけました。写真もたくさん枚数があるのに65ドルで購入できとても良い思い出となりました。ありがとうございます。


チップについでですが、日本人参加者の方々はどのくらい渡そうかと悩みますので参考までに書いておきます。
その日本人ガイドさんも普通20%位で 〜10%程度とおっしゃっており、私達も他のアクティビティに参加した際、とても良くしていただいたのでその時は25%を夫婦各々で渡しました。また特別お世話になったなと感じた人にはそれとは別で個別に渡すようにしています。今回こちらのアクティビティでは夫婦各自15%程度を。送り迎えのバスには夫婦でまとめて10%程度入れて帰りました。

I felt a bit of fear at first, but it was actually not scary at all and was very refreshing! The captain and the crew were very friendly and made jokes to entertain us. They offered to take photos if we wanted, so I asked them to do so. Looking back at them later, they truly became wonderful memories. It was also nice that the number of participants wasn't too large.

Additionally, I forgot that the meeting time was 30 minutes before the reservation time, so I arrived just in time... I tried calling the local contact, but I couldn't get through, which was concerning. However, I received a call from VELTRA (with Japanese staff) who checked on the situation, and I was both surprised and grateful. What great service! Thank you very much.

Thanks to you, I had a very good experience and I am satisfied!

少し恐怖感があったのですが全然怖くなくてとても爽快でした！

We went to Hawaii for a family trip. We signed up for parasailing at the request of our child. The weather was great on the day, and it was the best! It was really wonderful to see the beautiful scenery of Hawaii from the sky. The staff were also kind and attentive. It was the best memory.

パラセイリングは子どものリクエストで申込みしました。当日は天気も良く最高！でした。ハワイの綺麗な景色を空から見ることができ本当によかったです。スタッフの方も優しく丁寧でした。

Initially, I had a reservation for December 1st, but due to rain and wind, I received an email about two hours before the reservation that it was canceled. Since it mentioned that I could change the date for free, I rescheduled for the next day. The following day was clear and sunny, so it turned out to be a good thing that the previous day was canceled.

I took The Bus to get close to the location and headed to the Aloha Boat Harbor. The ticket booth (a small yellow building with a green roof) was smaller than I expected, and I got a bit lost. I recommend arriving early. There, I signed the instructions and boarded the boat.

I was told there would be a briefing about 30 minutes long, but we quickly got on the boat and headed out to the point. Once there, we were fitted with life vests, and before I knew it, we were soaring through the air. The crew member spoke a bit of Japanese and was very kind.

Once we were flying, we had a beautiful view of Diamond Head and the scenery was amazing. The crew member took a lot of photos for us and gave them to us on an SD card at the end (40 photos). It was really great! If I get the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely do this again. I will recommend it to my friends as well.

最初は前日の12/1に予約してたのですが、雨と☔風で予約の2時間程前に中止のメールが届きました
無料で日時が変更出来るとあったので翌日に変更。
翌日は快晴で結果的に前日中止になって良かったです。

現地のザ・バスに乗って近くまで行きアラワイボートハーバーへ。チケットブース（緑の屋根の黄色い建物）が思ってたより小さくて少し迷いました。早めに行くのをオススメします
そこで説明書にサインをし、船へ。
30分程事前に説明があるという事でしたが、すぐに船に乗り海に出てポイントまで行ったら救命ベストなどを付けてもらい、あっという間に飛ばせてくれました。
CREWのお兄さんが片言の日本語を話してくれ、とても優しかったです。
飛んだらダイヤモンドヘッドなども綺麗に見え最高の景色でした
写真もお兄さんがたくさん撮ってくれて最後にSDカードでくれ（40）とても良かったです
また、ハワイに行けたら絶対したいです。
周りの友達にもオススメします

I participated with transportation included. There were staff who spoke Japanese at the visitor center, but all the zipline instructors spoke English, so I watched a Japanese video beforehand. The instructors also engaged with us, and I was able to understand somewhat and enjoy the experience.

On the way to the zipline location, we toured filming sites like Jurassic Park, and the driver provided explanations. That was all in English, though...

Since transportation is provided, it's more cost-effective to participate in activities other than the zipline and stay for a full day.

日本語を話せるスタッフはビジターセンターにはいましたが、実際のジップライン のインストラクターは全て英語のため、先に日本語のビデオを見ました。インストラクターも色々話かけてくれ、なんとなく理解できて、楽しめた。
ジップライン の場所までも、ジェラシックパーク等のロケ地を巡りながら行き、ドライバーが説明してくれました。それも、全て英語ですが…

送迎があるので、ジップライン 意外のアクティビティも参加して、丸1日滞在する方が、コスパいいです。

A waterproof case is essential for taking photos and videos. It's also better to use a neck strap. There was someone in the same group who dropped their smartphone into the sea while it was in their pocket. The guide searched for it that day but couldn't find it, and they mentioned they would look for it again during tomorrow's tour, but it's unclear if it was found.

The tour was satisfying. There were two boats, and we were divided into English and Japanese groups. First, we practiced snorkeling at the sandbar. The sandbar was about waist-deep for adults. After that, we drove the boat through an area where sea turtles live. We were able to see about five sea turtles, and it was great to see them come up to the surface. Finally, we put on fins and flotation devices and swam around the coral. With the flotation devices, there was no worry about sinking, and it was nice to see tropical fish.

For lunch, we had hamburgers after swimming at the sandbar. The meat was large, flavorful, and delicious. The hamburger tasted especially good after swimming.

当日ガイドが探したが見つからず、ガイドの方が明日のツアー中にも探すと言ってましたが、見つかったかは不明。

ツアーは満足。
船は２隻で英語組と日本語組に分かれてツアーをしました。
まず初めにサンドバーでシュノーケリングの練習。
サンドバーは大人で腰くらいの高さ。
そのあと船を走らせウミガメがすんでるところを通ります。
ウミガメは5頭ぐらい見れて、首を海面に出すとこも見れてよかった。
最後に足ひれと浮き具を着てサンゴの周りを泳ぎます。
浮き具があるので、沈む心配はないし、熱帯魚も見れてよかった。

昼食はサンドバーで泳いだ後にハンバーガーをいただきました。
肉が大きくて味もしっかりしていておいしかった。
泳いだ後のハンバーガーはおいしく感じます。

First of all, I want to point out that all explanations from the reception until the end were in English. There was no broken Japanese, so those who can't speak English have to tough it out... (laughs) However, they conveyed the important parts through gestures, so I was able to understand somewhat.

Whether it was the location or just luck, we were able to see a lot of sea turtles. I left my smartphone on the boat, so I couldn't take any pictures, but having a water-resistant camera would be even better.

After snorkeling, we went sailing, and the sailing time was longer than I expected (laughs). Many people ended up feeling seasick, so motion sickness medication is a must.

That said, it was a course where we could enjoy beautiful fish, sea turtles, and the atmosphere of Hawaii on the boat, and I had a great time!

まず初めに注意して頂きたいのが、受付から解散までずっと英語での説明です。カタコト日本語とかも無いので英語ができない人は気合いで乗り切るしかありません…(笑)ただ重要な部分はジェスチャーで伝えてくれたのでなんとなくは理解することが出来ました。日本人参加者は私たち以外にいなかったので、他の参加者の方に聞くこともできませんでした…。

場所が良かったのか、運が良かったのか、ウミガメもたくさん見ることができました。スマホは船上に置いてきてしまったので撮影はできなかったのですが、水濡れOKのカメラがあるとなおいいかもしれません。

シュノーケリングが終わったあとはセーリングなのですが、セーリングの時間が思った以上に長いです(笑)船酔いしてしまう人が続出だったので、酔い止めは必須です。

とはいえ、綺麗な魚もウミガメも船上でハワイの風などの雰囲気も楽しめるコースとなっており、とても満喫出来ました！

当日は天気も良かったのですがバスの中のクーラーが効き過ぎる位効いて寒いくらいでした。サウンドバーに付き船に乗り込みガイドの説明ですぐに理解出来ました。
最初はシュノーケルの練習をした後ゆっくり水面を覗き込み小さな魚の中に自分が居るのがわかりました。その後海ガメ、イルカ　ウォッチングをたのしみました。

The event was canceled once due to strong winds, and it was rescheduled for another date. However, I had trouble with my application and was told on the day that my reservation was not confirmed. Fortunately, the lady at the reception was very kind and contacted the staff at Veltra for me, allowing me to join at an available time.

Parasailing was amazing. It's not something you get to experience often, so I highly recommend it. The boat driver was really enthusiastic.

一度強風で中止になり、別の日程に振り替えたのですが、うまく申し込ておらず、当日受付をしても予約できていないと言われました。ですが、受付のおばちゃんが非常に良い人で、ベルトラのスタッフに問い合わせてくれ、空いている時間に入れてくれました。
パラセーリングは最高でした。なかなかできる経験ではないのでおすすめです。ボートの運転手はイケイケでした。
