We had a wonderful time. There were a lot of children there and the staff used quite a lot of sexual innuendo so I would not take my children. Was not crowded. We got to do quite a few of the activities and crafts which was fun. I felt pampered and the night was romantic. The pork is out of this world. Pleanty of food. Music and dancing were fabulous.

I've been coming to Hawaii almost every year, but my itinerary usually revolves around shopping and relaxing at the beach, so I haven't booked many activities. This time, I wanted to fully experience the power of nature and feel rejuvenated, so I signed up for a tour.
Waking up early was really tough, but the tour was so fulfilling that it made it all worth it!
The malasadas I had at Leonard's after rubbing my sleepy eyes were delicious! Since the location requires a rental car, I appreciated the convenience of stopping by as part of the tour.
Finally, we arrived at the west coast and boarded the boat to start the tour. After searching for dolphins for a while, we spotted a pod! We quickly jumped into the water, and although it wasn't for long, I was moved to see wild dolphins up close. It was a moment that made me feel the beauty and grandeur of nature, even a sense of divinity.
We then moved to a spot where we could see turtles. I heard that there were eight the day before, but on the day I participated, there were only two. A large turtle and a slightly smaller one were being cleaned by little fish.
I personally loved this part, so I spent the whole time watching the turtles and eagerly chasing after them! The turtles had a different vibe from the dolphins, but their grace underwater was truly mesmerizing, and I found myself just gazing at them. The distance to a turtle that came up for air was only about 30 cm, which surprised me!
After enjoying watching the dolphins and turtles, it was lunchtime. The homemade burgers made by the captain were delicious...
I felt like I could completely forget about work and the troubles I left behind in Japan and became pure.
Since people of all ages, from small children to adults, participated, I felt it was a great tour that anyone could enjoy.
If you want to play with nature in Hawaii, I definitely recommend Dolphin University!

I went to see dolphins! A few years ago, I went on another tour to see dolphins, but the weather was not great, and I didn't encounter many, so this time I went for a revenge tour at Dolphin University.
As for my impressions, I think it's nice that they call you 30 minutes before pickup in the morning, which is reassuring for those who might worry about oversleeping. The pickup van is also very noticeable, as you can see in the photos. Just be careful not to confuse it with Dolphin Junior High.
The stop at Leonard's is convenient since it's hard to get there on your own, and it's nice to be able to check out a popular spot.
The most important part, the dolphin tour, was great; the staff were cheerful, and I think anyone would enjoy it.
However, when I went, it was full, and the boat was crowded, so I think a smaller group would be better.
There weren't many waves, but for those who are not used to being on boats or swimming in deep water, there might be a slight tension that could lead to seasickness. I recommend that anyone who is prone to motion sickness take some medication beforehand.
You wouldn't want to miss out on the delicious cheeseburger!
If I want to see dolphins in Hawaii again, I'll definitely rely on Dolphin University!

I participated in the $7.77 campaign with my mom.
The day started with a morning call from our guide, Yuriko (laughs).
This time, Yuriko's child was also with us. Yuriko is a very friendly person.
First, we had the famous malasadas from Leonard's. They are incredibly delicious. Each person gets one, so if you want more, you can order extra at your own expense. However, the time here is short, so if you want to eat, make sure to do it quickly.
During the car ride, we got to hear a lot of stories about Hawaii from Yuriko. Along the way, we passed by the house of Konishiki and headed to our destination.
I love dolphins and visit SeaWorld in Japan several times a year to interact with them. My dream was to swim with dolphins in the wild! However, perhaps due to my high expectations, I felt a bit disappointed with the experience of swimming with them.
Once we found the dolphin point by boat, we put on life jackets and entered the sea. It would be better to say we saw the dolphins swimming below us. I had imagined dolphins swimming beside me, so it was a bit disappointing. However, I understand that the dolphins have their own schedules, so it might have been different on another day.
Also, due to time constraints, it felt quite rushed. The snorkeling time afterward was much more relaxed, so I wish we could have spent a little more time with the dolphins. I saw dolphins twice out of the four opportunities we had. It felt like as long as everyone got to see the dolphins, that was good enough.
One positive aspect was that the staff provided a lot of support for my mom, who can't swim at all. Since she was with the staff, she might have seen the dolphins more than I did.
After the dolphins, we moved on to snorkeling. I was surprised to see many yellow fish around the boat. They were beautiful, but it felt unnatural that they were being fed.
While snorkeling, we encountered a sea turtle. It was amazing to see it up close! The time spent with the sea turtle felt more relaxed than with the dolphins, allowing me to really enjoy the experience.
The cheeseburger on the boat afterward was nice because of the setting, but the taste was average.
Overall, the tour had a strong promotional aspect. While I do think it was good, that's something individuals will feel differently about.

I participated with my grandparents and my parents, making a group of five. Since the venue was the same as our hotel, the Hilton, it was very easy to join.
The explanations from the show’s host were all in English, so I was a bit confused about the buffet details and how to order drinks, but it wasn't a major issue, and I was able to enjoy myself. The show itself was enjoyable even without understanding English, and I think you can really feel the atmosphere of enjoying a show and dinner in Hawaii. The food was delicious, and although there was a line at the buffet at first, it became less crowded after everyone got their food, making it easy to go back for seconds.
I also thought it would have been better to have a bit more detailed information about the meeting place and ticket exchange upon arrival. Even when I managed to get to the designated meeting spot, there was no specific guidance for Alan1, and everyone started walking to the venue, so I just followed along and ended up lining up at the ticket exchange window... I felt a bit anxious until it all started. In the end, I was able to participate properly, so that was good.

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations before going.
I feel embarrassed for thinking that because it was truly a fun tour. When we spotted the dolphins, I was squealing like a child! Not only did we see dolphins, but we also got to see beautifully colored fish and the honu, which is said to bring good luck. The honu moved slowly, and I was able to swim right alongside it. I was so close that I almost bumped into it!
I was really healed by this experience!
The staff were also very friendly, making it a fun time.
I tend to get motion sickness, but the local motion sickness medicine called Doramamin sold at ABC works wonders! It’s important to take one pill the night before the tour to get your body used to the medication. Thanks to Doramamin, I was able to enjoy it 200%!
I've participated in various tours before, but this is the number one tour!
If I go to Hawaii again, I will definitely participate! I will be a repeat customer for sure!
Doramamin

As a first time visitor to Hawaii ,I was not sure what to expect from a Luau. The Luau actually begins on the bus ride to Paradise Cove. We were greeted, welcomed and entertained by our host, "Cousin Bronson." He told funny stories and jokes and explained what to expect before we arrived to our destination. This made everyone feel "connected" and a part of the "family."
Paradise Cove Luau was enjoyable and it was a great experience for all of us. The Paradise Cove entertainers were very well trained and showed a great deal of confidence and expertise in their skills and their dances. Afterwards, they were available for pictures and autographs. Paradise Cove is a wonderful setting for a luau. Very beautiful location for the setting sun pictures.
The trip back to our hotel was another entertaining ride with more stories and jokes from Bronson. I would recommend Paradise Cove Luau to anyone. Great job!

I had signed up for a different tour last time, but we ended up chasing dolphins in the bay, with phrases like, "Hey, chase them! They're over there! Look, over there!" and ultimately, we couldn't see them underwater. I thought to myself, "It's wild after all," when I saw the photos of people swimming with dolphins, thinking this was a rare case. However, to my surprise, I was able to see a pod of dolphins swimming underwater from above and the side, just like in the photos. I believe this was largely thanks to the instructors. They carefully guided us by saying, "Come over here! Look ahead, look down!" to show us where the dolphins were.
On the boat, the captain, who somewhat resembled Gary Sinise (which reminded me of Forrest Gump), along with the staff, performed hula and played the ukulele! Even when they were distributing the hamburgers for lunch, they always created a cheerful atmosphere that made the guests feel a sense of unity. The staff, especially one who resembled the cheerful enka singer Jero, helped create a relaxed feeling.
The only downside was that there was a family with a child around three years old, and at first, the child was crying loudly, which scared the dolphins away. I hope participants consider the age of their children when joining.

It has been 22 years, but I remember watching the movie "The Big Blue" in high school. I recall seeing it in a nearly empty theater. A few years later, it was re-released as "The Grand Blue," and this time it was so popular that there were people standing. Many must have seen it then. It was a work that brought attention to Jean Reno and director Luc Besson.
Set against beautiful visuals, it tells a story of friendship with rivals and a love story with a partner. Dolphins appear throughout, adding spice to the narrative. And the meaning of the final scene is somewhat unclear. Yet, for some reason, it remains a work that I want to include in my top three, lingering in my heart. That was my impression until now.
However, after participating in Dolphin University, I experienced an indescribable shock of emotion. I felt that this emotion is very much linked to the world of "The Grand Blue." I realized I had misunderstood the way to appreciate the film. I now clearly understand what the real-life figure Jacques Mayol wanted to convey, as well as the meaning behind that final scene. While it's something that can be read in critiques, experiencing it at Dolphin University is the closest way to grasp it. Words cannot express it.
I wrote something that sounds preachy, but overall, I truly had a wonderful time. The malasadas that Yuriko, a heavy customer, reserved were much tastier than buying them in line, and my wife, who has a fear of the sea, looked like a child waiting in line for an injection, but she seemed very satisfied with the cheerful crew and Keoni's escort.
Yuriko is also great with children, full of energy until the batteries run out. I, who am on the verge of being overweight and lacking exercise, regretted underestimating stand-up paddle surfing that I saw on TV. I resolved to tighten my waist and address my lack of exercise during the hula lesson on the way back.
Cynthia takes beautiful photos, so my advice would be to not bring a camera and focus on enjoying the experience; you might as well buy the DVD and CD-ROM. I will participate again to receive the power of the earth, sea, and life. If possible, I would like to enter this world during the off-season when there are fewer people.

I have always dreamed of swimming with dolphins. While there are tours in Japan where you can interact with trained dolphins, I was thrilled to find a tour where I could swim with wild dolphins! I thought this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I booked it without hesitation.
This time, I went to Hawaii for my honeymoon. I was excited even before we left! It felt unbelievable that I would actually get to meet wild dolphins…
On the morning of the tour, I took motion sickness medication since I tend to get seasick (I highly recommend that anyone who gets seasick definitely takes it!). We waited for our pick-up. The person picking us up was Yuriko, the director of Dolphin University. Even at 5:30 AM, she was very refreshing and a tough director.
Our first stop was Leonard's. It seems they had called ahead for us, and the freshly made malasadas were fluffy, chewy, and incredibly delicious!
Then we set off for the West Coast! Yuriko drove while guiding us, and before we knew it, we had arrived.
The captain and crew who greeted us were all natural and had wonderful smiles. They radiated a happy aura!
And finally, we set sail! First, we all prayed for safety and tossed flowers into the sea. I love this romantic touch!
After a while, we could see dolphins jumping! We had arrived at the spot. Everyone hurried into the water, following the crew member, Jay. He shouted, "Look here!!" Below in the deep sea, there were a mother and baby dolphin! They were really there, swimming alongside us!
Then we spotted a pod and rushed to get closer. However, they were just out of reach. I wished we could swim with them more closely when Jay dove deep and touched a dolphin! The dolphin came right up to us! Jay was so cool. Thank you!
After that, we changed locations and swam with sea turtles next. We also experienced sea kayaking and paddle surfing. Paddle surfing was my first time, and I kept getting swept away, no matter how hard I paddled, I couldn't get back to the boat… Just when I was wondering what to do, our hero, Jay, came to rescue me in the kayak. I was so glad to have Jay with us!
Then we all enjoyed hamburgers that the captain had grilled, danced the hula, and returned to port.
It was a dream-like day!

I was able to swim very close to them and even hear their voices. Just being in the water was soothing for my heart, and swimming with the dolphins felt amazing. It felt like all my daily stress and fatigue disappeared in an instant. Last year was cold and I felt unwell, but this time there was a wetsuit rental, which made it even more enjoyable. The snacks and the hamburgers for lunch were delicious. I think it would have been even better if there were warm drinks available. I would like to participate again next year.

The dolphins appeared as if to welcome us, showing off their impressive spins multiple times. It was truly moving. After that, our elderly mothers, who are not very good swimmers, also did their best. We swam with the dolphins and were captivated by their cute sounds. Following Yurika's preview, we were mesmerized by the beauty of the colorful fish and the turtles dancing in the underwater palace.
The daughters also enjoyed kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. I think it was wonderful to experience the greatness, beauty, and gentleness of nature and to share this emotion together. I am grateful for the hospitality of Yurika and each staff member who supported us elderly participants. If we come to Hawaii again, I would definitely like to participate in another program. Thank you for everything.

I loved this activity!!!! The ATV's were sooo cool!!! It took me a little to get a hold of it, so me and my bf went on a separate group. It was just the three of us, including my instructor Jacob. Jacob was great, very informative and he even let us do some cool turns. The views are to die for, specially the china-man's hat. We saw where 50 First Dates was filmed, and stood inside Godzilla's paw!!! This is nothing like driving a car, it is much cooler. This is definitely something I would do everywhere I go. Do the 2 hour ATV, gives you enough time, because once it's over you are going to wish there were 4 hour ATV's!!

We came to Hawaii for our honeymoon and were really looking forward to swimming with dolphins. The malasadas from Leonard's that we tried first were fluffy, crispy, sweet, and incredibly delicious, instantly lifting our spirits.
Once we got on the boat, a pod of dolphins appeared right away, jumping repeatedly in front of us. When we entered the water, a mother and baby dolphin swam alongside me, which was very moving.
The paddleboarding was a bit challenging at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was fun to paddle smoothly. It was great to have unique experiences like kayaking with my husband. The hamburger we had when we were starving was especially delicious.
The staff were very lively, and although I thought I might feel embarrassed doing hula dancing, I ended up having so much fun and danced enthusiastically. It was truly a wonderful day and became the best memory of our honeymoon.

My 15 year old son and I had an awesome time and would love to go again! Everything went well, from the online registration to on site check in to the parasailing itself. What really made the trip for us were the two guys that ran the show. They were friendly, polite and put you at ease right away. They totally made the experience. We got the photos and are so glad we did - they turned out great and captured the experience even better than we hoped.

I enrolled in Dolphin University on June 20, 2010, and graduated successfully. It was our family's second trip to Hawaii, but it was my first time visiting to meet the dolphin instructors. The motivation was that I wanted my child to play with dolphins! However, I was skeptical about whether we would really have a 90% chance of seeing wild dolphins. Still, I decided to enroll in Dolphin University because I heard there were various activities even if we didn't see dolphins.
On the day of the trip, the weather was clear, and we enjoyed delicious malasadas, which already had everyone's spirits high. But once we got on the boat, the wind was strong, and the boat was rocking quite a bit... Some of the other participants looked a bit queasy. While we searched for dolphins, we tried to distract ourselves by taking in the beautiful scenery of Ko Olina, but we couldn't find any dolphins for a while. However, the captains worked hard to find them, and we finally spotted the dolphins we had been hoping for. They jumped and spun in front of the boat... all feelings of nausea disappeared.
As soon as we jumped into the sea, a pod of nearly 50 dolphins swam gracefully right beneath us. My child was fascinated, peering down into the water. The waves were rough that day, making snorkeling quite challenging. Nevertheless, my child swam desperately toward the captains' calls of "There are dolphins over here!" to meet the dolphin instructors. After reluctantly saying goodbye to the dolphins, we went to see turtles, but unfortunately, we didn't encounter any. However, we were able to swim among many tropical fish and enjoyed kayaking and paddle surfing.
The cheeseburgers that the captain grilled for us on the return boat ride were also very delicious. However, the boat was rocking so much that it was difficult to stand. I recommend that those who are not confident about seasickness take some motion sickness medication before the trip!
It was truly a fun and healing half-day. After returning to Japan, when I asked my child what was the most enjoyable part of the trip, they immediately said it was meeting the dolphins! It became an unforgettable moment for both children and adults. I highly recommend Dolphin University! Thank you very much for the wonderful time.

I had the best experience among all the optional tours I've participated in so far. "Prestigious Dolphin University" is my top recommendation!! This was actually my second time participating. I couldn't forget the excitement from my last visit (a few years ago), so I joined again this year. Last time, I encountered many dolphins, but this time I was amazed to see a pod of over 100 dolphins. The closest I got was just 20 centimeters away. It seemed like the dolphins were coming closer to observe us. It felt as if the dolphins were the tour organizers, coming to deepen their interaction with humans.
My wife, who is approaching 50, has been struggling with menopausal symptoms and has been feeling down lately, but on this day, she was at peace and said, "I felt healed. I became very happy. Surrounded by a family of dolphins, I spoke a lot and learned a lot. I was able to feel the importance of family and nature, and the greatness of nature through meeting them. My heart was filled with happiness." Seeing my wife's smile again also healed me. I feel very fortunate to have chosen "Prestigious Dolphin University" again.
After encountering the dolphins, we moved a little to see sea turtles. That was even more moving. We encountered a mother and baby sea turtle!! It was thrilling. In addition to snorkeling, you can also enjoy sea kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. Thanks to the friendly crew, we had a great time on the boat with BBQ burgers and songs played on the ukulele.
By the way, my wife cannot swim at all, but she was able to participate with peace of mind. We have decided to bring our 3-year-old grandchild with us to join this tour next year. It became the best memory in Hawaii. I am grateful to all the staff.
P.S. To return to the beginning of the story, before heading to Waianae, the tour stopped at the famous Leonard's to enjoy their signature malasadas. Delicious!! They taste like churro-flavored fried dough, and I could get addicted... By the way, they have different flavors each week. Foodies will be happy just with this breakfast. Give it a try.

I applied for the tour where you can see dolphins, drawn in by the rave reviews from participants and the $7.77 campaign.
Even at an early hour, the program coordinator was full of energy, sharing various stories along the way and treating us to the popular, fluffy, delicious malasadas. The malasadas were indeed as fluffy and tasty as I had heard!
After eating the malasadas, it was a 30-minute ride to the boat. Once we arrived, we boarded the boat and set off. We performed a prayer ritual under the blue sky and the deep blue sea, and then we finally departed to search for the dolphins.
As soon as we spotted them, we jumped into the water. Even those who can't swim can feel at ease. The handsome instructor accompanied us and took good care of the other participants, providing guidance so we could see the dolphins up close.
This time, we were able to see a pod of dolphins about twice. When I saw them from the boat, they were spinning and jumping, and I thought they were swimming quite close to the surface. However, in reality, they were swimming deep in the ocean, so at first, I understood why the instructor was shouting,
"Don't splash around!!!"
It seems that it's best to put your face in the water and take a look. Getting off the boat means that the dolphins are just around the corner... I didn't realize this, so I could only see the last part of the pod, but I was still able to see beautiful dolphins. I heard that some people even got to hear the dolphins chatting with each other.
After that, we returned to the boat and had time to play with canoes and stand-up paddles, observe sea turtles, and enjoy snorkeling. By this time, I, who usually handles vehicles well, was feeling quite seasick.
I had promised my mom that I would ride in the canoe, but seeing how sick I was feeling, she was considerate and suggested we go snorkeling instead. As soon as we returned, she was super excited. Apparently, the tropical fish swarming around the bread the captain had given us were irresistibly cute.
After that, my mom happily went out to do stand-up paddling and took the lead in rowing the canoe, trying to help me feel better from the seasickness. Thanks to her, I managed to feel better, and I also got to enjoy snorkeling, which I love.

The space with dolphins is so healing! You can spend memorable moments there.
When I saw the yellow bus that said "Prestigious Dolphin University," I felt a mix of excitement about meeting the dolphins and anxiety about what was going to happen.
However, the instructor was bright and communicated well, which quickly eased my worries. We boarded the boat and headed out to sea to search for dolphins, but there were times when I wondered if we would actually get to swim with them. Still, while relaxing on the boat and feeling the ocean breeze, I was soothed by live Hawaiian music. Finally, we found wild dolphins, and I will never forget the experience of swimming close to them.
It was truly moving to be able to swim with a pod of dolphins in the calm and unique underwater space.
Not only did we snorkel with dolphins, but we also had the opportunity to canoe and try paddle surfing. I had a very fulfilling time on the boat as well. I was healed by the live Hawaiian music and learned about Hawaiian culture through prayer songs and dances, which made me love Hawaii even more.
Also, the cheeseburger that my dad made on the boat and the pineapple he prepared were truly exceptional.
I think that even those participating alone, those with small children, or those who are not confident swimmers can feel safe joining in, thanks to the thoughtful care of the instructors.

Among the many dolphin tours available, I discovered the $7.77 campaign and decided to give it a try. I had seen dolphins a few times before, but this was my first time swimming with them, so I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, on the day of the tour, I found myself unable to enter the water. At first, I thought about canceling, but since it was okay to participate without getting in the water, I decided to go ahead.
The guide picked me up at my hotel, and on the way, I had a malasada as a breakfast substitute. It's like a fried doughnut coated in sugar with a chewy texture. I heard there’s a shop in Yokohama too... I would have been happier without it, but it was delicious!
After about a 30-minute drive, we moved to a beautiful coastal area with stunning scenery. Then we switched to a boat to search for dolphins! If we encountered a lot of dolphins, we would jump into the water. Unfortunately, since I was on the boat, I could only see them from a distance... After that, we swam with sea turtles, and during about an hour of free time, everyone else went snorkeling. I found it a bit boring since I couldn’t get in the water...
Also, if you get seasick, taking motion sickness medication is a must! It was quite cold, so a hoodie and sunglasses were essential too.

Going to a luau is something everyone should do at least once. Paradise cove is beautiful and the staff very friendly. The "games" are not impressive, but give you something to do. The show is good. The food is good but not labeled, so try everything. Did not like most of the native dishes, but the pork and chicken were excellent. The drinks are poured in front of you, shots measured and often generous. Unless you are a drinker, I would not say they are watered down. You can purchase bigger, "better" drinks as well. (i didn't need to.) Had the standard package and would not bother with more expensive packages, seats are all good and buffet lines move quickly and plenty of food. Bring small bills for tips. I would recommend this activity to family and friends. Some small children there, ok for kids.

I can't dive, but I wanted to see the underwater world, so I participated. (10 AM session: Japanese guide available)
During the transfer to the submarine on the shuttle boat, there was an announcement saying, "It will be rocky today," but it was fine. (My mother, who was with me, got a little seasick.) If you're worried about seasickness, it might be a good idea to take medication in advance. (Medication is also available for purchase on the shuttle boat.)
The inside of the submarine was more spacious than I expected, and it was comfortable without feeling cramped. (The floor might be a bit cold?) Unfortunately, we didn't see any sea turtles, but we were able to see many fish living among the reefs, the wreckage of an airplane, and a sunken ship. Even my mother, who got seasick, was moved by watching the fish swim around.
I'm glad I participated in this tour! I will definitely sign up again when I travel to Hawaii!
