I went flying with my 67-year-old mother at 120 meters, and she was thrilled because it wasn't scary and was just the right height. However, the boat swayed quite a bit! I tend to get motion sickness, so even after taking motion sickness medication, I felt nauseous by the end. If you're prone to motion sickness, definitely take strong medication! They asked each group, "Do you want to take photos?" with a telephoto camera, so if you say no, you won't be photographed. It seemed like you could buy the photos on the way back if you asked. It was written that you could choose whether to land in the water or not, but no one was asked, and everyone landed in the water, which was a bit disappointing. We went with seven people from three generations. I thought the person taking care of many tours at the meeting point, Hilton Hawaiian Village, was from Hilton, but it turned out to be a Japanese guide from Kualoa Ranch. They were very polite and made a good impression. The explanations at Kualoa Ranch were clear and concise, focusing only on the important points without unnecessary details.

We experienced three types of activities and a lunch course. Since my grandchild is small, we chose the Taste of Kualoa Tour, the Movie Site Tour, and the Ocean Voyage Tour.

On the Taste of Kualoa Tour, we were able to see and taste various tropical fruits. I had seen breadfruit many times, but it was my first time trying it as chips. They were deep-fried and seemed to have no seasoning, but they were very delicious.

The Movie Site Tour mainly focused on locations from Jurassic Park, and it was fun to watch Jurassic World on the plane back and see familiar scenes.

テイストオブクアロアツアーでは南国の色々な果物の見学と試食ができました。パンの実は何度も見たことがありますが、チップスを食べたのは初めてでした。素揚げで味は付けてないようですが非常に美味しかったです。
映画ロケ地ツアーではジュラシックパークのロケ地がメインでしたが、帰りの飛行機の中でジュラシックワールドを見て、見覚えのある場面が出てきて楽しかったです。
孫がもう少し大きくなったら乗馬ツアー、ジャングルエクシペディション。ATVツアーも楽しみたいと思っています。

My husband is not good with heights, so we participated in a tour that was 110 meters high. There were five groups on the same boat, including us, with two groups being Japanese. The boat ride to the parasailing location was quite bumpy, so I strongly recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take some medication. Thanks to the motion sickness medication I took, I was able to enjoy the ride on the sea.

While there were moments when we were slightly swayed by the wind up in the air, it was generally very stable, allowing us to enjoy the distant scenery at a leisurely pace. I was told that photos would be taken on an SD card for about $30, but we decided not to request them. However, now that I think about it, I wish we had asked for some photos of ourselves while we were up in the air, as we couldn't take any ourselves. Most people took photos from the air with their own cameras. If you put your smartphone in a waterproof case and hang it around your neck, you can bring it up with you.

When coming down from the air to the boat, they asked us how wet we wanted to get, with options like not getting wet at all, up to the knees, waist, shoulders, or head. We chose to get wet up to our knees, but there were others who enjoyed getting fully soaked up to their shoulders. For those with a fear of heights, it may not be highly recommended depending on the severity of their fear. My husband said it was a good experience, but he seemed quite scared.

There were also participants who were a mother with two children, so I think children over elementary school age can enjoy it together.

上空からの写真はほとんどの人が自分のカメラで撮っていました。
防水ケースに入れて首から下げるようにすればスマホも上空まで持っていけます。
上空からボートに降りてくるときにまったく濡れない、ひざ下までジャポン、腰まで、肩まで、頭まで、と細かく希望を聞いてくれました。
私たちはひざ下にしましたが、肩までしっかりジャポンしている人たちもいて楽しんでいました。
高所恐怖症の方はその度合いにもよりますが、あまりおすすめしません。
良い経験になったとは言っていましたが、主人はかなり怖かったようです(^^;
良くご相談ください。
ママとお子さん2人の3人で参加されている方もいましたので、小学生以上のお子さんであれば一緒に楽しめると思います。

This was my second time in Hawaii. While I admired the surfers riding the waves with such ease, I was filled with anxiety about handling a longboard and the rules in the water, so I thought it would be dangerous and decided to participate in a lesson with my husband.

Even as people in their 40s, we were able to fully enjoy the surfing experience thanks to the kind coaches who sent us out at the best timing for the good waves.

The next day, I thought about renting a board at the beach, but a local Japanese person warned me, "It's very dangerous, so be careful!" and I decided against it. I'm really glad I signed up for this group lesson. I highly recommend it.

It was my first experience in a state where I couldn't have a conversation, but it was no problem at all. Since I have a fear of heights, I chose to go up to 110 meters, but I think I could have gone higher without any issues. Although we were off the coast of Waikiki, one of the reasons I was satisfied was that I could see the very beautiful deep blue sea, which is different from the coastal area. There were 14 people on the boat, including two staff members. It was a small boat, but we were able to lift off without getting our swimsuits wet, and my sunglasses didn't fall off either. Some people even brought cameras, and we comfortably enjoyed parasailing. It was very stable in the air, and it was nothing but "pleasant." I was debating whether to join a tour to swim with wild dolphins when I applied... (I was also concerned about the price)
In the end, I'm glad I chose this tour!!
The Japanese guide provided a very detailed explanation of the tour flow during the changing time, and when it was time to interact with the dolphins, the local staff took over. Even though we couldn't communicate verbally, we were able to understand each other through gestures.
Since it's a tourist spot, the food court and other areas are generally on the pricier side, but they gave us three coupons, so I was able to enjoy ice cream for free!
I participated in the first morning session, and afterwards, I had lunch and was able to watch the dolphin show starting at 12:30. The show was at a level that you can't experience in Japan, and it was really great.

午前1番の部での参加で、その後はご飯を食べたりして12時半〜のイルカショーも見ることが出来ました。ショーも日本では味わえないレベルでとても良かったです。

I participated in the Dolphin Swim Adventure. Both the dolphins and the staff (foreigners) were very friendly, and I had an incredibly fun interaction, which left me very satisfied. However, it was disappointing that the dolphin pool and the facilities were dirty. I had a hamburger and a chili dog for lunch, but they were cold. There were also a lot of mosquitoes.

The ranch itself is beautiful, easy to find, and has plenty of parking and good customer service. The Multi-Passenger Raptor UTV tour allows drivers to switch off wherever the lead decides for the group to stop and take pictures. Considering how fully booked this place is, I never felt overwhelmed by the amount of people and during the tour itself, I felt like we were the only people driving around. Each turn led to a scenic view. Our 1 hour tour felt really short. We only stopped once and I was left wanting more. I wouldn't call this a tour because there is no narration or information provided. You simply follow your group and the passenger(s) take pictures/videos.

Kualoa Ranch was a great experience and I had a lot of fun! However, on the day of my visit, I was supposed to choose two activities, including horseback riding, but I wasn't able to select anything, and I couldn't go horseback riding. It seemed that the local staff had mentioned this a few times, and they said that the agent might have misunderstood. I think it would be good if the course descriptions could be updated.
