I wanted to surf in Hawaii, so on the morning of the day, I searched and found a session available from the afternoon, and I joined. Since I had experience with wakeboarding and snowboarding, I thought I would be able to stand up easily. It was a group session, but that day there were few people, so it ended up being just me and the coach (lucky!). We watched a video on the basics, and then headed out to the ocean! The coach said, "Go, go!" and I managed to stand up on my first try for about 20 meters! After that, I rode the waves 7 or 8 more times and stood up every time. It was incredibly fun! I'm grateful to the coach!!

I had a great time surfing for the first time!

I participated alone. Both the instructor and the participants were friendly, so it was fine. There were about 5 instructors for 9 participants. It's okay even if there isn't an instructor who speaks Japanese, but there was one on this day. You can have fun even by yourself! The waves in Hawaii are easy to ride and you can stand for a long time, so even those who can't stand in Japan can enjoy it. Most of the participants were beginners, but everyone was able to stand up.

The driver who picked us up was incredibly fun and spoke Japanese very well, which left a great impression on us. The captain and staff for the parasailing also made a big effort to celebrate our honeymoon, creating wonderful memories for us. There were three couples in total, and we were the only Japanese ones, but we got along well with the other international guests, making it an amazing experience from start to finish!

It's not a very difficult trail course. In my opinion, it consumes about one-third of the energy compared to Diamond Head or Makapu'u Trail. The guide was also entertaining and explained about the plants. Since it's mostly shaded, I recommend it for those who are tired of the Hawaiian sun. It's a good idea to bring insect repellent spray!

The view of Hawaii from 150 meters was amazing! I usually don't get motion sickness, but it was quite bumpy, so I think it's better to take motion sickness medication for peace of mind. You can have about 80 photos taken for $30. It's fine to purchase after checking the photos. Unfortunately, the ones we took were mostly dark due to backlighting, so we had to sadly cancel them. I was really looking forward to them, so it was disappointing.

**The pickup on the day was unfortunate**
On the day we reserved, it was windy, and our booking was canceled, so we changed it to the next day. However, when the pickup time came, no one arrived. It said, "If the pickup doesn't arrive after 5 minutes, please inquire," so I borrowed a phone from the hotel front desk to call, but I couldn't get through, which made me very anxious. In the end, they arrived 20 minutes late, and when I spoke to someone who was already on board, they said they had the same pickup time as us. I wonder why the third pickup location was set for the same time. With the language barrier and being in an unfamiliar place, it created a tense atmosphere with my husband. その方から3番目のピックアップ場所にも関わらず、同じ時間を設定されているのはどうなのでしょうか。慣れない土地と言葉のやり取りで不安な上に、主人とは少し険悪なムードに。
当日に遂行するのか、ピックアップ時間は間違ってないか、事前に確認を取っていたにも関わらずの出来事だったので、あまりないケースだとは思いますが、せっかくの旅行なのでいい思い出で終わるように、改善をお願いします。

The driver for the shuttle was very energetic and we had a great time getting to the location. The parasailing offered a fantastic view of Waikiki and we could see Diamond Head clearly, which was absolutely amazing! I was able to bring my GoPro, so I could capture videos and I'm really looking forward to watching them later.

I was concerned about managing my valuables and didn't bring any money, so I missed out on buying photos, which was a bit disappointing. However, it turned out that it was perfectly fine to bring valuables. Also, we had the option for a water landing, and although I got wet, there wasn't a place or time to change, so I went back to the hotel as I was.

I thought there was relatively little wind in the morning, but up high, it sways side to side. It’s thrilling!
Looking down is really scary.
If you ask, they will take pictures from below.
You’ll receive them on an SD card for $30. I think it’s worth buying.
After coming down, there’s a wait time for others, but the loud reggae music on the boat really gives you a vacation vibe.
Watching is fun, but it can make you quite dizzy.
I’m not usually prone to motion sickness, but motion sickness medication is a must!
For those meeting on-site, the building doesn’t show up on Google Maps, but once you go, you’ll easily spot the light blue-roofed hut.

The trip was fabulous! The crew is friendly, fun and knowledgeable. They keep you informed, entertained and fed (I liked the burger, chips and fruit). The equipment & boat were in excellent shape.

There isn't a lot of down time which I appreciated (activities/entertainment happening thru out the trip). Tyler was an amazing hula dancer! Make sure you bring cash to tip the crew, they work hard to show us tourists a great time!!

When we initially jumped in the water, we saw dolphins immediately! The second jump we saw more dolphins, a sting ray, and a sea turtle! (And fish, if course). It was amazing.

We didn't rent the wet suit and we were fine (mid April). We took Dramamine because of all the warnings in other reviews, so we had no motion sickness, but neither did anyone else. :)

My only advice would be that guests should be sure to sit under the covered area when the crew is making announcements. We were sitting at the very back of the boat (behind the speaker) and couldn't hear them at all. You'll also get a better view of the dancer.

Also, the slide was not available on our trip, so if that's important to you, you should double check?

Until dinner, I wondered if I could eat more, so I chose this. Also, the all-you-can-drink option was appealing.

There were four types of appetizers, but since we had a late lunch, this was enough for us. Among them, two were edamame and yakitori. The rest included fruit, meatballs, and a variety of drinks like sparkling wine, wine, beer, and soft drinks, so I had no complaints.

This price includes a tip. We were the only Japanese people who ordered this course, so it really felt like we were in a foreign country. It was like watching a movie with foreign couples of all ages around us. Next to us was a couple celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary from Texas. I spoke with a refined lady from New York in the restroom, and we were able to communicate even with my limited English conversation skills.

As a bonus, on the way back, we were so drunk that we fell asleep on the bus. The driver probably thought, "What should I do with these guys?" and woke us up to ask where we were going, then kindly dropped us off right in front of our hotel. Thank you for your help!

このコースを頼んだのは日本人は私達だけでしたから、外国に来た感が、半端なかったです。外人カップルの老若男女問わず、映画を見てるみたいでした。お隣はテキサスから来られた結婚20周年のご夫婦。トイレでお話ししたのはNYから来られた上品なご婦人。拙い英会話でもコミュニケーションとれました。
おまけなんですが、帰りのバスで、酔って爆睡してた私たち。ドライバーさんが、多分？こいつらどうしようって事でどこまで？って起こされて、ホテルの前まで送って下さいました。お世話かけました。ありがとうございました。

I was quite worried about whether the event would take place due to the strong winds, but it was held as scheduled. The sea was very rough, and out of five groups of passengers, one newlywed couple had to turn back because the wife was feeling nauseous and couldn't move. They ended up not being able to go parasailing. Six minutes really goes by in the blink of an eye.

I went parasailing for the first time in Hawaii! I couldn't imagine how high 150 meters would be, but it was a bit shaky, and the view was amazing!

The guide was really funny, so definitely try to chat with them!

When we went, there were about six groups, but the boat rocked quite a bit, and we had to stay on the boat until everyone was done, so I think it's a good idea to take motion sickness medication. Out of the 12 participants, three people felt unwell. Make sure you're in good health and have a great time making memories!

150mがどのくらいの高さが想像できなかったのですが、多少揺れるけど、景色は最高でしたー！

ガイドの方が面白いのでぜひ話してみてください！！

You are pretty much just paying for a ride there. It is a very pretty hike, I would make sure to wear shoes with traction as it does get pretty slippery towards the top. Q lot of good picture spots.

Very memorable experience. We enjoyed it and would go again, they do not teach you how to snorkel so I would look up tutorials before you go. Just so you can get more out of it. They have a photographer on board that takes pictures you can pay for.

This is my second time participating, following last year! This time, the boat swayed a bit in the breeze, but I was able to enjoy it with participants from Kuwait! I'm writing this while enjoying the beautiful scenery and feeling the wind, and I definitely want to participate again! 😊
