What an amazing time we had on our sunset cruise that left right outside of our hotel (Hilton Hawaiian Village). The staff on the boat were incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them as we sailed along. The drinks and snacks were great, and the best part of all were the breath-taking views, especially watching the sun set! We went with another couple with whom we were traveling, and we all put this activity toward the top of our list of memorable things we did while visiting.

As we boarded the boat from the port and transferred to the real submarine offshore, I felt a mix of half worry and excitement about seeing the underwater world of Hawaii. It was a time when there were hardly any Japanese people around, but the Japanese explanations through the headphones helped me understand well, and I could clearly see the corals and fish on the ocean floor. Fortunately, towards the end, I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle swimming as well.

During our first trip to Hawaii, we decided to sign up for a Hawaiian show. We went in early June, and since it was in the evening, the sun was still shining when we were shown to our seats, which were directly in the sunlight. There was nothing to block the sun, so the seats that weren't in the shade (the ones directly in front of the stage) were extremely hot until the sun went down. Fortunately, we were seated in a shaded area, which was a relief.

The meal was a buffet, and since many people were going to get food, I was a bit worried about whether there would be enough left. However, it turned out fine. (There was a system in place where the area for getting food was determined, and you couldn't go up to get food unless you were called by the staff.)

We enjoyed the event even from our seats that weren't directly in front, and the dancing was wonderful. The male hula dancers were incredibly impressive and surprised us.

On the way back, we were able to take photos with the dancers in the lobby, which made for a great memory for us, as we had never seen authentic hula before.

行ったのは6月上旬、夕方からなのでまだ陽も落ちてなくて座席に通される時間帯は日差し直撃。
特にさえぎる物もないため、陰になっていない席（ステージ正面席）は陽が落ちるまでは暑さ地獄。幸運にも横っちょの陰の席だったので助かりました。
食事はビュッフェで、かなりの人が取りにいくので「残っているのかなぁ～」と少々不安ではありましたが、大丈夫でした。（ビュッフェを取りにいくエリア順が決まったいました。ボーイさんからそのエリアへ声がかからないと勝手に取りにいってはいけない仕組みでした）
イベント自体は正面席でなくても十分に楽しめましたし、踊りも素晴らしかったです。男性フラが迫力満点で驚きました。
帰りには、ロビーで踊り子さんたちと写真が撮れましたし、
一度も本場のフラを見たことない私たちにとってはとても良い思い出になりました。

The sudden change communicated in English caused me to panic, and with an unstable Wi-Fi connection and no Uber account, I struggled to communicate the meeting location clearly to the taxi driver I managed to flag down in front of the hotel. I got lost in the harbor as well, and the taxi fare ended up being over $20. I felt deceived. The catch was decent, but the fishing gear was quite old and in poor condition, though I was glad to catch something. If it weren't for the last-minute change in transportation, I would have been nearly completely satisfied. I was really disappointed by the abrupt change. I recommend being prepared for self-arrival in case of transportation changes (confirming the meeting location clearly, having taxi fare, and having the Uber app ready) instead of relying solely on the provided transportation.

The day before going to Hawaii, I suddenly decided I wanted to participate in this activity, so I thought it would be quicker to check for availability with someone local. As soon as I arrived in Hawaii, I visited the Beltora store there and made a reservation. The staff spoke Japanese, which made the reservation and payment process smooth. The activity itself was a lot of fun! My wife, who usually isn't comfortable with heights, seemed fine even at 150 meters and really enjoyed it.

It seemed that the staff wouldn't take photos unless you asked them. When we went out on the boat and I mentioned it while the other guests were flying, they took out a camera and started taking pictures. In the end, they took about 70 or 80 photos. When we got back, I checked the data on the camera and received it on an SD card. By the way, it cost $30. I'm very satisfied as we made some wonderful memories.

When the time came and the shuttle didn't arrive, I called and was put on hold for 4 minutes for confirmation, only to be told that it was unavailable and they wanted to change it to 11 AM. Reluctantly, we changed it to 11 AM, but with the explanation in English, my parents dozed off inside the submarine, not understanding the language. The Toa Luau was a great first luau for our family (30 to 60 year olds). Waimea Valley itself is beautiful; definitely come at least 2 hours early to be able to walk to the waterfall and enjoy the scenery. The pre-luau activities like weaving grass head bands, husking coconuts etc were fun. The show itself was fantastic too - they performed authentic ceremonies and dances from different Polynesian islands. The host was hilarious! Only slight downside was the food was only mediocre. We are all vegetarian and our main entree was bland quinoa; but we were happy there was even a vegetarian option (you have to request ahead of time though). Overall this luau is definitely worth it and we will recommend it to all of our family and friends!!

I was given motion sickness medication, and there was a restroom on the boat. It was great to see dolphins swimming right below us and schools of them passing in front of us. However, it was confusing to be dropped off at a snorkeling spot where there was nothing to see, and the photographer was unnaturally energetic, which was a bit annoying. I think a more assertive approach might create good memories for couples. Overall, it was nice to see the dolphins.

酔い止めを渡され、船内にトイレもありました。イルカが真下を泳いでいたり、目の前を通る群れを見れてよかったです。ただ、シュノーケルのスポットは何もいないのに降ろされて意味不明だったのと、カメラマンが常に不自然な程テンションが高くめんどくさかったです。多少強引な方が、カップルさんとかは良い思い出になると思います。内容的にはイルカが見れてよかったです。

It was one of the most amazing times my family has had. The atv ride to the top was fun and then all the lines had the most beautiful views. Joey Riley, and Reese where great guides they were very informed about the ranch we were on and made all of us comfortable enough to go upside down but be end of the day. Would definitely do again.

We participated as a family of three, including my 5-year-old daughter who is 105 cm tall and weighs 15 kg. We chose the highest ride available.

My daughter tends to be a bit afraid of heights; she wanted to ride the Ferris wheel but was nervous and needed to be carried. She also gets scared when she sees the ground while going down the stairs, so I was worried she might cry during the ride, but she was fine.

She had a serious expression the whole time we were flying, but after we got off, she said, "Let's go again!" so it seems she enjoyed it. The boat ride felt like a roller coaster, and she had fun with that too. Normally, she doesn't get car sick, but she did feel nauseous on the plane, so we quickly bought some motion sickness medicine at ABC Store before going.

Overall, it felt like an extremely scenic swing. I think anyone who can handle the swinging rides at amusement parks will be fine!

娘は高所恐怖症気味で、観覧車は乗りたがるけどダッコちゃんだったり、階段も降りるときに階下が見えると怖がったりと、そろそも泣かずに乗ってくれるか不安でしたが大丈夫でした。
飛んでいる最中は終始真顔でしたが、降りたあと「もう一回！」と言ってたので楽しかったようです。
ボートでの移動もジェットコースターみたいで楽しんでいました。普段、車酔いなどはしませんが飛行機で酔ってしまったので、急遽ABCストアで購入した酔い止め飲んでいきました。

感覚としては、超・景色のよいブランコという感じでした。遊園地の吊り下げブランコ風のアトラクションが乗れる方は大丈夫だと思います！

I participated with my 8-year-old child. It was our first experience with snorkeling, and we were a bit anxious, but thanks to the guidance from the staff and their encouragement to look down, we were able to see dolphins multiple times. After that, we moved to a turtle spot, and the boat was two stories high, offering an amazing view from above. My child was thrilled to slide into the sea, and we were able to see turtles as well. There was also canoeing, making it a packed experience. I feel like we were both spiritually and physically rejuvenated. This became a lifelong memory for us. I would love to participate again if the opportunity arises.

カヌー遊びもあり盛り沢山です。
