I participated with my son (4th grade) and daughter (1st grade). The weather forecast the day before predicted thunderstorms, and it was cloudy in the morning with rain during the bus ride, but it cleared up when we got on the boat, allowing us to enjoy the blue sky at the sandbar.

It was quite cold on the boat due to the wind, and since we went straight into the sea, the kids were pretty cold even though it was sunny. I think it's a good idea to bring extra bath towels and cover-ups.

There were areas where the beach was exposed, but they were far from where the boat was docked, so we didn't go there and instead took photos and did some stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). The water level was about up to an adult's calves. The kids quickly got the hang of SUP and had a lot of fun.

During snorkeling, they lent us a ZAYAK for my daughter, who can't swim, and she was thrilled to see fish and sea turtles. It seemed that the ZAYAK was only available for children.

I was surprised to see sea turtles up close, even more than I expected. I couldn't take good underwater photos with my smartphone in a waterproof case, so I want to prepare an underwater camera for next time.

We were also able to see many sea turtles from the boat on the way there and back. The staff who spoke Japanese were very friendly and made it enjoyable. I would like to participate in this tour again when I go to Hawaii.

息子（小４）と娘（小１）と一緒に参加しました。
前日の天気予報が雷雨で、朝も曇り、バス移動中も雨が降っていましたが、船に乗るときには晴れてきて、青空のサンドバーを満喫できました。
船上は風が当たるので結構寒く、そのまま海に入るので、晴れていても子供たちはかなり寒がっていました。バスタオルや羽織りものは多めに用意した方がいいと思います。
砂浜が出ている場所もありましたが、船の停泊箇所から離れていたのでそこまで行かずに写真を撮ったり、SUPしたりしました。大人のふくらはぎくらいの水位でした。初めてのSUPは子供達もすぐに立てて楽しめました。
シュノーケリングの際、泳げない娘のためにZAYAKを貸して頂けて、娘も魚やウミガメを見ることができて喜んでしました。ZAYAKの貸出は子供のみの様でした。
ウミガメを想像以上に間近で見ることができて驚きました。防水ケースにいれたスマホでは水中でうまく撮影できなかったので、次は水中カメラを用意して参加したいです。
行き帰りの船からもウミガメを沢山見ることができました。日本語を話せるスタッフの方がとても気さくで楽しかったです。
またハワイに行ったときにはこのツアーに参加したいです。

After taking a shuttle bus from Waikiki for about 50 minutes, we arrived at Kualoa Ranch. Once everyone got off the bus, there was an announcement saying, "If you would like to hear the explanation in Japanese, please follow the Japanese staff." While we were sitting with the rest of the group, others were being called by name and receiving their tickets and schedules, but we were not called... In the end, our tickets were with the Japanese staff, and there was a bit of a delay there. It would have been clearer if they had said, "Those with Japanese names, please go over there."

Thanks to our cheerful driver guide, we enjoyed visiting filming locations from Jurassic World and LOST, but just before the afternoon Ocean Voyage Tour, there was a sudden downpour! Everyone else had ponchos and umbrellas ready, but we were left unprotected and got completely soaked from head to toe. There was a poncho vending machine at the meeting point... I should have bought one without hesitation. Well, it's a good memory now.

ワイキキから送迎バスに乗って約50分ほどでクアロアランチに到着。全員バスから降りたところで、「事前説明を日本語で聞きたい人は日本人スタッフについて行って下さい」と案内があり、そのままその他大勢と一緒に座っていたところ、他の人はどんどん名前を呼ばれ、チケットとスケジュール表をもらっているのに呼ばれず・・・結局私たちのチケットは日本人スタッフさんが持って行っていて、そこで少し手間取りました。「日本の名前の人はあちらへ」と言ってもらったほうがわかりやすかったです。
明るいドライバーガイドさんのお陰でジュラシック・ワールド、LOSTなどの撮影場所を楽しく見学、まではよかったのですが、午後オーシャンボヤージツアー直前に突然の大雨！！皆さんポンチョや傘などを用意されていましたが、私たちだけ無防備で頭から足まで全身びしょ濡れになりました。集合場所にポンチョ自販機があったのに・・・迷わず買っておくべきでした。ま、いまではいい思い出です。

The pickup at the hotel was painless. The trip there was good. When we arrived we were greeted and they made sure we knew where to do, and answered all of our silly questions. The people at the ranch were awesome. Racheal our tour driver was awesome. She was funny, entertaining, and she knew all kind of fun movie location info. We watched 50 First Dates when we got back to the hotel and got to see a lot of the locations used. We did the bus tour and the cruise with the buffet. The food was great, and they honestly didn't care how much you ate. They had cookies and lemon bars for a quick dessert. Their on site restaurant had amazing looking burgers, will need to try if we ever go back. We also tried to the local chocolate bars with coffee beans and the banana bread. It was a bit pricey but we devoured all of it. The ride back to hotel was comfortable. Using Veltra was an awesome way to do the trip, to have nothing to worry about except where to show up, was excellent. We even used them to book our Luao after our trip because of how well they took care of us.

The booking process was smooth and hassle-free. I appreciated the clear communication regarding what to expect, what to bring, and the safety measures in place.

Two seniors over 60 tried snorkeling for the first time. At first, we didn't know how to do it and thought it might be too difficult, but once we got the hang of it, it became really enjoyable. The crew member was very considerate since we were older, helping us hold onto the float and pulling us along. We had an amazing time. Thank you very much! ♪

60過ぎの年寄り2人、初めてのシュノーケリングで、最初はやり方が分からなくて、無理かなって思ったけど、コツを掴んだら楽しくなりました。クルーのお兄さんが、年寄り2人なので、ダイジヨウブって気にしてくれ、浮に捕まらせてくれて、引っ張ってくれて、凄いお世話になりました。めちゃめちゃ楽しく過ごさせて頂きました。ありがとうございました♪

I had a great time watching sea turtles in the beautiful ocean. It was also nice to be able to do stand-up paddleboarding. Depending on the season, it might be cold when you come out of the water while still wet, so it's necessary to bring something to wear. Other than the spam rice balls, there were plenty of snacks and drinks available for unlimited refills, which was more than enough.

綺麗な海でウミガメを観ることができて楽しかったです。supもできてよかったです。
季節によっては海から上がると濡れたままでは寒いと思うので、羽織るもの持参要です。
スパムおにぎり以外はスナック、ドリンク食べ飲み放題で常に補充してくださってたので充分でした。

After experiencing many luau all across Hawaii, I can happily say that Mauka Warriors is one of the best I have had the pleasure of attending~

Pick-up from Waikiki was hella convenient, and even though we hit traffic on the way to the luau, the guide was great about keeping everyone informed and telling us interesting facts, history, and stories about Hawaii.

Once we arrived, we were greeted with a fresh flower lei (get the Mo'i Experience y'all!) and were escorted to the front row!!! WHOOO! With so many activities to do, and being able to order drinks from our phone made it a great start to the whole evening.

The food at Mauka Luau was pretty tasty too, and I loved that they had both poi and lomi lomi salmon, but their fish was the highlight of the menu for both me and my friend.

But the main event was def the Mauka Warriors Luau show, and omg...it was amazing. The fire knife dancing was some of the best I have seen in all of Hawaii, and even the kids were literally fire on stage, but I really loved that they incorporated Hawaiian and Polynesian warrior culture and history into a story rather than just a bunch of random songs and dances.

10/10 would definitely recommend!

Last time it rained and it was a bit unsatisfying, but this time I was able to enjoy the beautiful scenery under a blue sky. Even though it was sunny, it was cold, so I was glad I brought two beach towels. I think many people participate hoping to see the sandbar, but it seems you can only see it during a very low tide. (The tide level was -0.5, but the water was up to my knees.) You can see plenty of turtles and fish while snorkeling, so it's a lot of fun. They provide snorkeling gear, but there are no fins. The crew was kind and friendly, and it was clear they wanted to make sure everyone had a good time. This is definitely an activity I want to participate in again. I hope the exchange rate improves or that the prices become more affordable.

前回は雨が降って物足りなかったのですが、今回は青空の下できれいな景色を満喫できました。
晴れていても寒く、バスタオルを２枚持って行っていて正解でした。
砂州を見たくて参加する方が多いかと思いますが、よほどのLOW TIDEじゃないと見られないのではないでしょうか。
（潮位が−0.5でしたが膝下まで水位がありました）
シュノーケリングで亀や魚がたくさん見られますので楽しめます。
シュノーケルは貸してもらえますが、フィンはありません。
クルーが親切で感じの良い方ばかりで、楽しませてくれようとしているのがとても伝わりました。
是非また参加したいアクティビティです。
なので円高が進むとか、料金がお手頃になってもらいたいものです。

Charismatic host and thrilling performances by men, women and children representing the different island nations/territories. Food is buffet style with many tasty options. Alcohol free options were also available and enjoyable.

The shuttle bus driver and the staff who guided us on the boat were very kind, which made us feel very safe. It was wonderful to see not only the sandbar but also many sea turtles. After coming out of the water, some people felt cold, so it's good to be well-prepared with a jacket.

送迎バスの運転手さんや船で案内してくれたスタッフの皆さんとても親切でとても安心出来ました。
サンドバーだけでなく海亀もたくさん見る事が出来て素晴らしかったです。
海から上がったあとは寒くなってた人もいたのでしっかりと上着を用意出来てると良いです。

The sea was very beautiful and I had a great time!
I felt reassured that there were staff members who could speak Japanese!
Since it was my first time snorkeling, I initially put on the goggles incorrectly, but the staff kindly helped me fix it...! Thanks to them, I was able to enjoy it safely!
I saw coral reefs and fish, making it an unforgettable experience!
In May, the seawater was a bit cold, but I got used to it once I started swimming. It became a wonderful memory!

シュノーケリングは初めてなのもあり、最初ゴーグルの付け方を間違えていたのですが、スタッフさんが優しく直してくれて助かりました…！おかげで安全に楽しめました！

5月なので海水は少し冷たかったですが、泳いでいれば慣れました。とってもいい思い出になりました！

We took a small boat to the snorkeling point, where we were guided and given various explanations along the way.

It's important to be careful not to hit the coral. I was pointed out a few times.

The sea was very beautiful, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing time underwater while taking in the scenery.

I was glad I brought my own snorkeling gear, but if you don't have your own, you will have to use the rental equipment. Since it's something that goes in your mouth, I thought it was better to bring my own.

小型船で、シュノーケルポイントまで向かい、ポイントまで案内してもらいながらいろいろ説明をしてもらいました。

サンゴに当たらないように注意が必要です。何回か指摘を食らいました。

海はとてもきれいで景色を楽しみながらゆっくりした時間を海の中で過ごせました。

シュノーケルグッズを自前で持って行ったので良かったですが、もっていかないと貸し出しのものになります。口に入れるものなので、持っていった良いと思いました。

Since I was staying at Hilton, the meeting place was close, making it easy to participate.

The breeze felt special on the boat, it was pleasant, and the scenery was amazing! I was very satisfied to encounter a honu (sea turtle).

ヒルトンに宿泊していたので、集合場所も近くて、気軽に参加できました。

船で感じる風は特別で、気持ちよく、景色も最高！
ホヌにも出会えて、大満足でした。

At the beginning of April, there are still rainy days. On the day of the tour at Kualoa Ranch, it rained all day. I was able to enjoy the bus tour to some extent. It would have been better if there had been a tour in Japanese since all the explanations were in English.

4月の初めはまだ雨の日がある。クアロアランチの当日は終日雨。
バスでのツアーのためにそれなりに楽しめました。説明はすべて英語のために日本語でのツアーがあればもっと良かった。

This is a university that I always rely on.

It's a fun activity.

I love Jurassic Park and have always wanted to visit this place. It all started when the theme song began to play on the bus! It was an English tour, but I always choose English tours no matter the country, and I really enjoy the friendly atmosphere with the other international guests. The guide was also proactive in taking photos, which made me, as a solo tour participant, very happy!

This tour is a must for both movie lovers and nature enthusiasts when visiting Hawaii.

英語ツアーでしたが、私はどこの国でも英語ツアーにしていて周りの外人さん達の和気あいあいな雰囲気が大好きです。
ガイドさんも率先して撮影して頂き、1人ツアー参加の私には本当に嬉しかったです！

大自然と撮影地、映画好きの方にも自然好きの方にもハワイへ来たら是非参加して欲しいツアーでした。

The SUP was enjoyable for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and parents alike! We were thrilled to see sea turtles while snorkeling. The staff were all very friendly. It was a good decision to bring a waterproof case for my smartphone!

This is my third time participating. I'm not a strong swimmer, but with goggles and a life jacket, I won't sink. The guide is very attentive, so there's little chance of getting lost or getting into dangerous situations. There were families with small babies, but the guide was very helpful, even carrying them, ensuring everyone could enjoy safely. The weather was calm, and I was able to see sea turtles clearly, creating wonderful memories. You can return in your swimsuit, but it's better to bring a change of clothes as you might get cold. There is a small restroom, so I went up a bit early and changed inside while it was still empty. There were spam rice balls, snacks, juice, and warm drinks, allowing us to take breaks and enjoy without pressure. I would like to participate again next time. Thank you very much.

今回で3回目の参加です。泳ぎは得意ではありませんが、ゴーグルとライフジャケットがあるので、まず沈むことはありません。ガイドさんがしっかりとガードしてくれているので、はぐれたり危険なことに巻き込まれることはまずないです。小さな赤ちゃん連れのご家族もいましたが、ガイドさんが抱っこするなど協力的で全員が安全に楽しめるよう素晴らしい働きぶりでした。天候も穏やか、ウミガメもしっかり見ることができ素晴らしい思い出となりました。水着のままでも帰れますが、体が冷えるので替えは持参した方がいいです。狭いですがトイレが1つありますので、私は少し先に上がりすいているうちに中で着替えました。スパムのおにぎり、スナック菓子、ジュースに温かい飲み物もあり無理せず休憩を入れながら楽しむことができます。また次回も参加したいです。ありがとうございました。

I was very satisfied to see dolphins, sea turtles, and many beautiful fish. The staff were professional and very efficient, making it a fun experience without any dull moments.

The shuttle bus arrived right on time. The boat was equipped with warm showers and toilets, and the lunch sandwiches were much tastier than I expected, plus they served warm drinks at the end.

There is an experienced Japanese interpreter, so even those who cannot speak English can feel at ease. Since the boat can be quite rocky, I recommend taking motion sickness medication and enjoying the view of the mountains. It gets chilly after coming out of the water, so it's a good idea to bring warm clothing (like a jacket and pants). The wetsuits are easy to put on and it gets quite cold, so I think renting one is a good idea!

Thank you so much to Shanti, Stefan, Minako, Tara, Yuya, Laura, Lauren, Tim, and Parker (sorry if I missed anyone… all the staff on board were perfect!) for the wonderful memories.

イルカも、海亀も、綺麗な魚たちもたくさん見れて大満足でした。スタッフの皆さんがプロフェッショナルで非常にテキパキとしていて、飽きる時間もなく楽しく過ごせました。
送迎バスはきちんと時間通りに来ました。船は暖かいシャワーやトイレが完備されており、ランチのサンドイッチも期待していたよりずっと美味しく、最後に暖かい飲み物を出してくれます。
経験豊富な日本語通訳の方がいるので、英語が話せない方でも安心です。
割と揺れるので酔い止め薬を飲み動かない山などを見ながら過ごすこと、海から上がると冷えるので暖かい格好(上着とズボンなど)を持ってくると良いと思います。動かないものウェットスーツは簡単に着れる形ですし結構冷えるのでレンタルした方が良いと思います！

シャンティ、ステファン、みなこさん、タラ、ゆうやさん、ローラ、ローレン、ティム、パーカー(漏れてたらすみません…乗られてたスタッフの方皆さんパーフェクトでした！)、楽しい思い出を本当にありがとうございました。

On April 29th, the meeting time was early at 5:30 AM, but waking up early was worth it as we were able to see many dolphins up close, and we even got to see dolphins swimming underwater while snorkeling. With our Japanese guide Minako, even those who are not confident in their language skills can participate with peace of mind. The crew members were cheerful and lively, and it was clear they were doing their best to ensure we could see the dolphins in the best conditions possible. I would love to join the tour again if the opportunity arises. It was a wonderful experience.

４月２９日　集合は5時半と早かったですが、早起きした甲斐があり、たくさんのイルカを間近で見ることが出来、シュノーケルでも海中を泳ぐイルカを見ることができました。
日本人ガイドのミナコさんがいらっしゃるので、言葉に自信がなくても安心して参加できます。
クルーの方々も明るく賑やかで、できる限り、いいコンディションで我々がイルカをみられるように尽力しておられるのが感じられました。
また機会があればツアーに参加したいと思います。
とてもよい体験ができました。

I was lucky to see sea turtles and dolphins, and even a humpback whale out of season! During snorkeling, several staff members from Safeguard were watching over us. It was a very enjoyable and valuable experience! The slide was also fun!

ウミガメやイルカも見ることができましたが、季節外のザトウクジラも見ることができてラッキーでした！
シュノーケリング中も複数のsafeguardの方々が見守っとくれていました。
とても楽しくて貴重な経験でした！

We enjoyed Toa Luau so much! Our children, 2 & 4, had a wonderful time as well. The cast/crew are the same people running the activities before the meal, and serving the meal, then putting on a great show - their hard work and enthusiasm is inspiring <3 I noticed their attention to detail in how smoothly the check-in, meal, and all the transitions went. Highly recommend!

Even though I was overseas, time seemed to move on as usual here. Before getting on the boat at Kaneohe Bay, we encountered a heavy rainstorm, and I thought the trip might be canceled. However, we went ahead despite the rain. My umbrella, which was meant to be a sunshade, ended up being used mainly as a rain umbrella. It was so cold that I felt the chill was more overwhelming than the rain season itself.

It was really fun to have the tour guide take pictures of us at the movie filming locations!

We had a very fun time on our tour. Chris, our tour guide was fabulous. We learned so many facts about the filming of some of the movies. It was a very enjoyable experience.

I was able to see sea turtles up close, and it was impressive and very beautiful. Jamie was fluent in Japanese, which was surprising given their appearance, and they were very kind and helpful to the children. The kids were also very happy. I want to go back to the heavenly sea again next year.

海亀を身近で見られて、迫力があって、とてもキレイでした。
ジェイミーが見た目と違い日本語ペラペラで、とても親切で、子供に良くしてくれ助かりました。
子供も大喜びです。
来年もまた天国の海に行きたいです。

Everything from the transportation from our hotel with our driver/tour guide Kaplan, to our cruise and adventure with Captain Jason and his crew were fantastic! They were knowledgeable about the reef and sandbar, and were clearly passionate about its care. Snorkeling was great, and they took great care of those that couldn't swim well or needed extra help with the equipment. The activities on the sandbar were fun, and the ability to chill on the boat and enjoy the provided snacks & beverages was nice as well. In the way back to our hotel, Kaplan stopped to let us get Malasadas at Leonard's! Highly recommended... 10 out of 10!

Swimming in the pool made it easy for my kids to enjoy the one thing they wanted to do in Hawaii!

My daughter had smiles on her face the whole time. Wish my other daugther was old enough!
