Our family did the private boat charter when on vacation in Oahu just a couple of weeks ago, after booking from the Internet and just hoping we would get a tour that we would not forget. We were not disappointed at all, not realizing this company catered largely for Japanese tourists we were so impressed with our charter. Our captain was just so friendly and informative and made us feel very welcome and was great fun too. We will certainly be coming back again one day and booking another charter and would highly recommend to anyone that wants to treat themselves to something special and spoil themselves on a captain Bruce charter. This was my fifth time swimming with dolphins. This time, I participated in "Private Dolphin Junior High" for the second time. Just like last time, I was able to encounter many pods of dolphins. Moreover, since it was the birthing season, we also met several baby dolphins. Their earnest jumping was very adorable and entertained us.

Additionally, while we were returning to the harbor, six dolphins swam alongside our boat for over five minutes. This was truly the best part. The tour guide was also very pleasant, which made it even better. The food and drinks kept coming, making it a tour filled with happiness.

I participated in a dolphin tour during my trip to Hawaii a year ago, but the Dolphin School was definitely more interesting. The tour guide really got us participants excited, so we had a great time both on the bus and on the boat.

The main dolphins were amazing. When we first spotted them, they came right up to the boat and swam alongside us. Even after we got into the water, they swam slowly around us. It was incredibly healing.

You absolutely must participate in this in Hawaii.

In August 2012, I participated in my fifth dolphin swimming tour. As I had heard, this time of year is the season for baby dolphins, and I encountered many of them. Moreover, they swam leisurely, allowing me to observe them closely. The baby dolphins had a whitish color and were swimming with all their might. Occasionally, they also showed off some spins. I read alot of reviews prior to booking, and this excursion sounded the best...and in my opinion it is! The crew were wonderful - very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. I felt in capable hands the whole time, having never snorkelled with dolphins before. It was awesome, and we weren't rushed at all. I am looking forward to getting the professional photos from Ali. I have wonderful memories of this day and will definitely recommend this experience to others. I am sure that if I return to Oahu, I will definitely do this trip again!

I wanted to swim with dolphins so badly that I decided to participate this time. At first, I was worried about not being able to see any dolphins, but I was amazed to encounter an incredible number of them. It was truly moving. The round-trip bus ride was enjoyable as the guide shared stories, and I realized that this experience was worth the price. I also got to see a honu (sea turtle), and it was really, really the best. Next time, I definitely want to enroll in Dolphin University.

It's an early morning meeting, but our guide Yuriko was very energetic, and the driver Domingo was really nice. The pickup may not be from your hotel but from the nearest hotel.

When we arrived at the site, they offered to rent wetsuits for $10 to those who wanted them. Prescription masks are also available for free, so you can try them on to see if they fit. I wore contact lenses and used a regular mask, which was sufficient for me.

There are indeed a lot of dolphins. However, since they are wild, when you go scuba diving, they might swim right past you and then disappear completely. It repeats several times, so those who are not used to exercise might get quite tired. After the dolphins, we headed to a turtle point for more snorkeling.

Disposable underwater cameras are sold at ABC Store for about $15, so I think it's a good idea to bring one. However, taking pictures of swimming dolphins with an underwater camera is quite difficult. It's not easy to wear a life jacket, put on a mask, and look through the viewfinder at the same time.

A photographer also accompanies the group, and you can buy an image DVD for $70. Since it was a special memory, I decided to purchase it, and they took quite a number of photos. Those who are interested can sign up on the bus and then go to another company in Waikiki to buy it.

There were no snacks provided, but on the way back, we were served a bento box with three types of meat on rice and some water.

ただ泳いでいるイルカを水中カメラで撮るのはすごく難しい。
ライフベストをつけてマスクをつけてファインダーを覗くのはなかなかできません。

カメラマンも同行していますので、イメージＤＶＤと一緒に７０ドルで買うことができます。
せっかくの思い出なので買ってみましたが、かなりの枚数が撮影されてました。
希望者はバスの中で申し込んだうえで、ワイキキの別の会社に買いに行きます。

またスナックはありませんでしたが、帰りにご飯の上に３種の肉が乗っかったお弁当とお水が出ました。

注意点としては船は揺れます。したがって酔う人は酔います。
実際何人かぐったりしてましたし、海に還元してるしてる人も数人・・・。
私も結構酔ってた方かも。

それでもスタッフの方の雰囲気もすごくいいし、楽しい思い出になると思います。
ウェットスーツにしてもＤＶＤにしても、商売っ気は感じなくて、希望者はどうぞという感じです。
チップも税金も込みですので、現金の持参はスーツをレンタルする場合の１０ドルだけです。

This time, I took my mother on an optional tour as a Mother's Day present. She was excited but nervous about snorkeling for the first time, and I thought that if we could see dolphins and tropical fish, her fear would surely disappear. Unfortunately, we spent about 90% of our time searching for dolphins, and while we caught a glimpse of them for a few minutes (5%) from the boat, we didn't see any once we got into the water (5%), and that was the end of it.

If 70% of the time had been spent searching for dolphins and the remaining 30% on snorkeling where we could definitely see tropical fish, we could have said, "We didn't see dolphins, but we saw so many beautiful fish, right?" I understand that dolphins are the main focus, but I think it would have been better if they had considered adjusting that ratio a bit.

Since this is not a cheap option, I believe everyone would have felt more satisfied if a vote had been taken before boarding. It's very disappointing. I can no longer recommend this to friends going to Hawaii. During this stay, there was not a single conversation about dolphins.

非常に残念です。ハワイに行くお友達に薦められなくなりました。この滞在中、全くイルカ中学の思い出話は出ませんでした。

I have always wanted to swim with dolphins, and this tour made it happen! The staff member (the principal of Dolphin Middle School) was bright and very friendly, sharing valuable information about Hawaii while we were in the car, making the ride enjoyable.

Once on board, the captain communicated with other boats via radio to get information about dolphin sightings, and we moved around in pursuit of them. This added to the excitement and made it fun.

When we finally encountered a pod of dolphins and got to swim with them, it was thrilling and moving! Moreover, we were lucky enough to encounter them twice, and we even got to swim with sea turtles. The sea turtles had beautiful eyes and their movements were adorable! The ocean and sky were both beautiful, and I was very satisfied with the experience.

スタッフのお姉さん（イルカ中学の校長先生）は明るくて、とても気さくな方で移動の車中でもハワイのガイドをためになる生情報を入れながら楽しく話していただけました。

I want to swim with dolphins someday☆
I've always dreamed of it.
On the day I had been looking forward to with excitement,
I was moved to tears during the bus ride to the spot while listening to the dolphin stories from our guide, Nao.

When I actually saw the dolphins, I was beyond excited!
I was able to meet so many dolphins and swim with them; it truly felt like a dream.
I was deeply moved.
I am also grateful that I could have this experience surrounded by beautiful seas and majestic mountains in nature.

Thank you to the dolphin instructors and everyone at Private Dolphin Junior High for this wonderful experience.
I definitely want to go meet the dolphins again.

There were truly an unbelievable number of dolphins!!

When the captain spotted a pod of dolphins, the boat moved ahead to wait for the pod to approach. Then, at the guide's signal, we all jumped into the water and floated quietly... and suddenly we heard squeaking sounds from somewhere, and right after that, the pod of dolphins appeared, from the front, the sides, and below!! It was just an incredible sight!

There were some older folks who didn't get in the water, but I definitely recommend going in. You just float, so you don't need to know how to swim! For those who are anxious, the guide will be there to help, so it's very reassuring. Dolphin watching from the boat is nice, but actually swimming with them is just like a dream come true!☆

本っ当に、信じられないぐらいの数のイルカがいました！！

キャプテンがイルカの群れを見つけると、ボートがその群れを先回りし、群れが近づいてくるのを待ちます。そして、ガイドさんの合図でいっせいに海に入り、静かに浮いていると・・・どこからかキューキューというような声が聞こえ、その直後イルカの群れが、前やら横やら下やら！！とにかくすごい数！信じられない光景でした！！

年配の方で海に入らない方もいらっしゃいましたが、絶対に入った方がいいです。浮いているだけなので、泳げなくても大丈夫！不安な方にはガイドさんが付いてくれますし、安心ですよ。船からのイルカウォッチングもいいけど、実際に一緒に泳げるなんて！！夢のような時間でした☆

My family and I went on the Hawaii Dolphin Swim & Snorkel on June 26, 2011 morning swim. It was beyond our expectations. We found dolphins right away and the captain and crew knew exactly where to find them. There were several dolphin pods and we were able to get pretty close to them but not touching them. 3 of them hovered about 5 feet below my wife and I making their squeal and clicking sounds. It was amazing. The snorkel equipment they provided was in good shape and very reliable. The boat was fine with plenty of room to move around and feel safe aboard. The crew was very professional, friendly and entertaining. The food was average but any time you've been in the water for a while, coming out to a hot burger is always delicious. I would highly recommend this trip especially if you want to get in the water. We also had time to freelance snorkel in an area 25 feet deep that had several sea turtles hanging out. They were fabulous to watch swim by you on their way to the surface
