I was able to see so many dolphins! It seems to be the season when baby dolphins are around, and their cuddly appearance was adorable. When I was snorkeling and lost track of where they were, the staff on the boat pointed them out, so I could find them right away. I also got to see a rare seal, which made it a very lucky day.

I'm glad I rented a wetsuit. With it, I could float without a life jacket, and since it got colder, I think it was essential. The staff really made an effort to show us many dolphins, and it turned out to be a very fulfilling time. I had a great time!!

I'm glad I chose this place, even though there were many similar activities available. After just five minutes on the boat, I was able to swim with the dolphins, and I also had the chance to watch them swim alongside the boat for a while, which was very satisfying. I was also able to see the turtles up close. It would be even better if they could sell only the photos that include us.

Picked up near the hotel just after 6 AM. It took about an hour to reach the harbor, and during the bus ride, our cute and fun guide, who looked like a half-model, explained various things to us. According to the guide, the weather is starting to get colder, so everyone borrowed wetsuits. This choice turned out to be a good one… it also helps prevent sunburn.

When we arrived at the harbor, we put on our wetsuits and set off! Unexpectedly, we encountered a pod of dolphins right away and started snorkeling. It was overwhelming to see wild dolphins up close for the first time… we were really lucky to meet so many dolphins so quickly! The staff were also moved by the experience.

Since we didn’t spend much time searching for dolphins, we had a longer snorkeling session at another location afterward. Here, we were able to see many sea turtles and vibrant tropical fish, which was also amazing! Actually, I was so impressed by the snorkeling on the previous moon tour that this experience felt even more special… (>_<) Even with a decent number of participants, the snorkeling points at Dolphin School are spacious, so it doesn’t feel crowded, and the water clarity and number of fish were significantly better.

There seems to be a full-day Dolphin University tour as well, but I think it was a good choice to go with this one since it’s less physically demanding. It also seemed like there were fewer people here. There were a couple of girls who were down due to seasickness or fatigue, so for those who are worried, taking motion sickness medication is a must.

A friend who enjoys diving was also impressed. It’s a highly satisfying tour! I recommend it!!

片道１時間くらいかけてハーバーまで向かいましたが、行きのバスの中では
ハーフモデルのような可愛くて楽しいガイドさんがいろいろ解説をしてくれました。
ガイドさんによると、そろそろ寒くなってくる季節とのことで全員がウェットスーツを借りました。
この選択は正解だったなあ…日焼け防止にもなるし。

ハーバーに着くと、ウェットスーツを着て出発！
予想外にもすぐにイルカの群れに遭遇し、シュノーケリング開始。生まれて初めて間近で見る野生のイルカたちに感無量…とってもラッキーだったみたいで、こんなにたくさんのイルカたちにすぐに会えるなんて！とスタッフさんたちも皆感動。

イルカ探しに時間がかからなかったので、その後の別の場所でのシュノーケリング時間が長くなりました。
ここでも、沢山のウミガメと鮮やかな熱帯魚を見ることができてまたも感動！
実は、このツアーの前に参加していた月のツアーでのシュノーケリングがあんまりよくなったので感動もひとしおで…(>_<)
イルカ中学は、参加人数がある程度いてもシュノーケリングポイントが広いのでごちゃごちゃしないし、海の透明度も魚の数も格段に上でした。
１日がかりのイルカ大学もあるようですが、結構体力を消耗するのでこちらにしてよかったと思っています。人数もこちらの方が少なそうだし。
船酔いか疲れたのかダウンしていた女の子が２，３人いたので、心配な人は酔い止め薬必須かも。

ダイビングが趣味の友人も感動していました。かなり満足度の高いツアーです(^^)おすすめ！！

You could rent a wetsuit for $10, and almost everyone did. Those who didn't looked really cold, so I thought it would be better to include that cost in the overall fee. It's a hassle to carry cash. When we went, we encountered a rare pod of dolphins, which was a once-in-a-year experience! The dolphins approached us!! We could even hear their sounds, and it was very moving!! After that, we seemed to have some extra time, so we headed out to look for other types of dolphins... Luckily, we encountered another pod, and the dolphins swam around the boat and jumped, which was amazing!! The snorkeling afterward was also great, as we got to see sea turtles. It was a very satisfying tour.

Mandy & Ali were great guides during the entire excursion. We arrived at our destination to pick our food options and grab our snorkeling gear. No restroom on the boat so please go before getting on the boat! You can bring your own drink & snack on the boat since lunch won't be til afterwards. We swam w/ spinner dolphins at our 1st spot. It was so amazing to see the baby dolphins! We explored the reef at our 2nd spot, which had so many different kinds of fishes. Ali swam to us w/ a starfish & other things for pictures & even explained to us what we were holding. After this, they took us out to see the spotted dolphins (Hawaiian name "kiko"). There were sooo many of them riding our waves, swimming under the boat, & flipping in the air. It was so amazing to watch. They explained they were hunting & they hardly see these dolphins. Afterwards, you go back to eat lunch then head back to your hotel. This was the highlight of my trip & I plan to do this again when I come back!

My 10 and 11 year old daughters and I went on this excursion. It was a dream come true. Our captain took us up to a cove area where there were a good 30-50 spinner dolphins were hanging out! We had a blast. We then moved over to the sea turtles and we just loved that as well.

This was without a doubt the highlight of our holiday, loved it. The girls that took us out were great, they took us to our first location where we got the chance to swim with about 5-6 dolphins, then we moved on to the sea turtles, just great. On our return trip the girls took us back to our first location where there was now a pod of about 70 dolphins that we got to swim with. Just amazing. Thanks girls.

I participated on April 17, 2013. The weather was great, and I was able to swim with over 100 dolphins! I also saw about two sea turtles, and to my surprise, I was able to see a whale from the boat, which I thought was out of season. I felt like I had been saving my luck for this moment since I hadn't been very lucky lately.

One group probably had around 20 to 30 dolphins, and I went into the water three times, encountering them twice. I swam with four or five groups, so there might have been around 150 dolphins in total. It was just so lucky.

Our guide, Minako, was very clear in her explanations and had a bright personality, which was wonderful. I forgot the name, but Captain Papa? also took us accurately to the points, and during the whale watching, he kindly waited on the spot from when we dove until we surfaced.

My mother, who was with me, decided to stay on the boat at one point, saying, "I don't want to go in the water anymore today," but Minako frequently encouraged her not to push herself, so she was able to rest without hesitation. Since it was a tour with many entries, quite a few people chose to rest on the boat during the second session (snorkeling at the tropical fish and sea turtle points).

Even though the weather was nice, we had been snorkeling for quite a while, so it got quite cold, and the warm tea we received on the boat was much appreciated. The snacks were also quite delicious. I devoured a cinnamon pastry and cheese. I was a bit concerned about the calories in the cereal bar, so I took it home.

I really had a great time. I definitely want to take my husband, who stayed home this time, with me next time.

ウミガメも2頭ほど見ることができ、おまけに時期が終わったかと思われたクジラも船の上から見ることができました。最近何かとツイていなかったので、「このために運をとっていたのか？」と思うほどでした。

ひとつの群れがたぶん2,30頭で、3回海に入って2回遭遇、4、5グループと一緒に泳ぐことができたので、もしかすると150頭くらいかもです。とにかくラッキーでした。

ガイドのミナコさんの説明はわかりやすく、明るい人柄でとても良かったです。お名前を忘れてしまったのですが、キャプテンパパ？もポイントまで的確に連れて行って下さり、ホエールの時も潜ってから浮き上がるまでその場で待機してくださるなど、親切でした。

同行の母が途中、「ちょっと今日はもう水に入りたくない」と船上に残っていたのですが、無理しないで～とミナコさんが頻繁におっしゃってくださっていたので、遠慮せず休むことができました。エントリー回数の多いツアーだったので、2時限目（熱帯魚やウミガメのポイントでのシュノーケル）はさすがに船上でお休みされる方が多かったです。

良いお天気と言えども、結構な時間シュノーケルしていたので冷えてしまい、船上でいただいた温かいお茶はありがたかったです。スナックも結構おいしかったです。シナモン系の菓子パンとチーズぺろりと食べてしまいました。シリアルバーはさすがにカロリーが気になって持ち帰りました。

本当に楽しかったです。
今度はお留守番してもらった夫もぜひ連れて行きたいと思いました。

This is my sixth time in Hawaii! I've wanted to join this tour for a while, and I finally participated this time.

Once we arrived at the port, we put on our wetsuits and immediately boarded the boat. The water temperature is low during this season, and the boat is fast, so being exposed to the wind the whole time was quite cold. Renting a wetsuit for $10 was definitely the right choice. By the way, everyone in the group rented one (laughs).

We set sail and searched for about two hours. Ultimately, we headed north up to just before the North Shore, but there was no sign of dolphins, and everyone was getting tired.

At that moment, we encountered a whale! It's rare to see one at this time of year. Everyone was thrilled by this unexpected encounter.

So, what about the dolphins? We received information from another boat that they were near the port! It was a case of "right under the lighthouse." We quickly headed south and managed to meet the dolphins. Depending on the day, there can be hundreds of them, but there were only a few on this day. However, I was really glad to see them clearly with my own eyes and to swim close to them.

After that, we moved to a snorkeling point and got to swim with about five sea turtles. They came close enough to touch.

The staff's energy was incredibly high throughout, so if you're not a fan of that kind of lively student-like atmosphere, it might be a bit overwhelming. Also, it's quite intense, so I don't think it's suitable for those who lack physical stamina or for older individuals. It really drains your energy.

I wonder if it varies by day? I've heard there are days when they can be found easily, which might make it easier. We had quite a struggle finding them. When we finally spotted them, it was like "Let's go!" and everyone jumped in at once (there were also people from other companies), so it got crowded, and I ended up getting kicked by someone’s fin.

But it all became a great memory.

いっきに南下し、なんとかイルカ先生に会うことができました。
日によっては何百匹といるそうですが、この日は数頭でした。
しかしこの目でハッキリと見ることができたし、近くで泳ぐことができて本当に
良かったです。

その後はシュノーケルポイントに移動して、亀大教授と泳ぐこともできました。
５匹くらいいましたよ。触れるくらい近くまで来てくれました。

スタッフのテンションが終始バカ高いので、そういう学生ノリの賑やかなのが苦手な方は苦痛かも？
しかも結構なスパルタなので、体力に自信のない方、高齢の方には向いてないと思います。ものすごく体力を消耗します。

日によるのかな？？すぐに見つかる日もあるらしいから、そういう日は楽チンなのかも。私達はなかなか見つからず苦労しましたからね。
みつかった瞬間、それいけーーーーって感じで、みんなが一斉に飛び込み（他の会社の連中もいるから）混みあっていて、前の人のフィンで蹴られる始末です。

でも全部がいい想い出になりました。

This was awesome!!! We not only saw dolphins but we saw humpback whales at the end of their migration. They also took us to a reef where we snorkeled with a sea turtle and saw tons of tropical fish. The girls on the boat crew were awesome. Highly educated about the ocean environment and the sea creatures. This was definitely one of the highlights of our Hawaii vacation. Don't miss this activity. Especially if you can do it during the whale migration season. Also, Domingo, our shuttle driver that picked us up from the hotel was a great tour guide as well.

Just Terrific

They pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the west side. They gear you up, they advise you not to touch or chase. You get on the water and if you're lucky, like us, you spot a pair of hump back whales. Then when they locate the dolphin herd, you get to swim among them for about an hour. Then you get to spend almost as much time over a reef, where you can swim with sea turtles and other fish. It was just terrific.

Then you get a decent sandwich and a drink, because you will be hungry after a full morning. Then they drive you back to Waikiki.

Excellent photo disk available to chronicle your trip, at a good price, if you wish. 400 photos of your trip + bonus file with great pics of dolphins, whales, and the area.

Only negative was no changing facility, public restrooms only. Also no bathroom on the boat so be prepared.

Definitely worth the price for this experience.

We had a hard time finding dolphins and only spotted a group of six just in the nick of time. We finally went snorkeling, but we couldn't swim with them properly. We were disappointed as we had to head back due to time constraints, but thanks to the driver's consideration, we got a second chance. During the second attempt, we were able to swim quite close to them and had a great time.

なかなかイルカが見つからず、時間ギリギリで六頭だけの群れを発見。ようやくシュノーケルをしましたが、ちゃんと一緒に泳げず。時間が無いので帰るということになりガッカリしましたが、運転手の計らいで再度のチャレンジ。二回目はかなり近くで泳ぐことが出来て、楽しむことができました。

Such an amazing experience! The staff were really helpful and friendly and knew a lot about the animals we would be seeing. We got to snorkel with a pod of dolphins for about an hour - an hour and a half, which was fantastic and then they took us to another snorkel reef spot where we saw about 5 sea turtles ! Would definitely recommend it !

I was worried about whether I could wake up properly since we had an early morning meeting, but I did my best to meet Dolphin Sensei. It takes about an hour by car, but the staff member, Julie, was so entertaining that we arrived in no time.

Since it's cold this season, we rented wet suits (for a fee) and set off! Along the way, we encountered sea turtles and whales. Several times!!

However, I was feeling down because we couldn't meet Dolphin Sensei. But the staff worked hard to find them, and in the end, we were able to swim with the dolphins. I'm grateful to the staff for their perseverance.

The mother and baby dolphins were so cute!

朝早い時間の集合だったので、ちゃんと起きられるか不安でいたが、
イルカ先生に会うためにがんばりました。
車で１時間くらいのところなのですが、車中ではスタッフのジュリさんのトークがおもしろくて
あっという間に着きます。

この時期は寒いのでウエットスーツを借りて（有料）出港！
途中ウミガメ、クジラに遭遇しました。何回も！！

しかし、肝心のイルカ先生には会えなくて、ブルーになっていました。
が、スタッフの方が一生懸命さがしてくださり、最後イルカと一緒におよぐことができました。
根気強くさがしてくれたスタッフに感謝です。

The staff was great. The excursion was not very exciting I would have loved to spend more time with the dolphins but it seemed the staff was more into the whales. The captain was somewhat careless, my husband ended up on the floor. I would not do this excursion again.

Absolutely Fantastic!

I've been on a few excursions. . .all have been fun, but this was my favorite. I highly recommend it! The staff was great fun and very knowledgeable. We saw so many dolphins, a sea turtle, and a sting ray. We were able to snorkel along side and enjoy! It was a bonus they had a photographer on board that took underwater pictures so we have our memories in pictures of all we enjoyed that day. You won't be disappointed!!

I was skeptical about whether I could really see wild dolphins, but I was moved to see them for sure! I was asked about wearing a wetsuit, but since none of the other participants raised their hands, our group also participated without suits. However, the seawater was colder than I expected, and it was very chilly with the wind when we got back on the boat. I recommend participating with a wetsuit.

　ウェットスーツの着用を聞かれましたが、他の参加者が誰ひとり手を挙げなかったので、我グループもスーツ無しで参加しました。が、海水も思った以上に冷たく、船に上がったときの風でとても寒かったです。ウェットスーツを着用して参加することをお勧めします。

I've always wanted to go dolphin watching! 念願のイルカウォチング！

I had to cancel dolphin watching twice in Kyushu due to typhoons, even though the probability of seeing them was over 90%. This time, I learned that in Hawaii, not only can you see them, but you can also swim with them, so I confidently signed up!

On the day of the event, we had an early morning meeting at 6 AM, but my excitement kept me awake and ready to go☆

As soon as we arrived, I put on a wetsuit ($10), hopped on the boat, and off we went! I was a bit anxious about the early start, but as soon as we reached the bay, we spotted dolphins right away! Over the course of a few hours, we encountered several dolphins, including baby dolphins♪ Other teams were there too, but the dolphins kept coming back to our group, making it hard for us to get back on the boat (laughs).

We changed locations and were able to see two sea turtles swimming. My husband said he found the sight of the turtles gliding through the water to be mystical.

逢える確率９０％以上の九州でイルカウォチングを２回も台風で断念。今回は常夏ハワイで見るだけでなく一緒に泳げることが出きると知り、大丈夫だと申込しました！

当日は朝も早く６時集合でしたが、ワクワクする気持ちが大きくてしっかり起きれました☆

到着するやいなやウエットスーツ（＄１０）を着て、ボートへ乗り込み、いざ出発！なんて早いスタートなんだと焦りましたが、湾にでるとすぐイルカ発見！！数時間の間に何頭もイルカや子供イルカにも逢うことが出来ました♪他のチームも来られていましたが、イルカは私たちのチームへ何回も寄ってきてくれボートに上がるに上がれない状態でした（笑）

場所を変えてウミガメは２匹も泳いている姿を見ることができました。旦那はウミガメの悠々を泳ぐ姿が神秘的に感じたと言っていました。

Halloween Week Review

This was our second visit with this company and we were even more pleased this time than we were before!

This is a well run company staffed by people who know how to please! Captain Jenna and First Mate Katie were both superb! There was little wasted time looking for dolphins and turtles as Jenna knew right where to go to find them. She also ensured we had the maximum time in each area. We came away very satisfied.

Yes, we would even entertain another visit and hopefully bring friends.

Also, Jim Ward was a very personable photographer who was very prompt in send out his photos for download.
