Since we had a 3-year-old child with us, we only joined the activities involving rides, but the Jurassic Park movie location and the jungle tour in the Kualoa mountains were quite bumpy, and the child enjoyed it like a roller coaster. It's perfect for movie lovers. The scenery from the films is right in front of you! It's a valuable experience! The botanical garden was also enjoyable with the guide's humor. Lunch can get crowded, but there were enough chairs for us to sit. At one point, we ran out of hot water for milk, and since the next tour time and dining area weren't in a restaurant, I was concerned about hygiene for the baby and didn't order. Also, there are no changing tables, but if you're well-prepared, it's fine for those with babies! You can sit for a long time without getting tired and enjoy it all the way to the end.

We chose the movie location tour, jungle exploration, and the Taste of Kualoa tour (a tour to see and taste Hawaii's agricultural products). Since it was our first time, I was wondering what it would be like, but these turned out to be quite enjoyable attractions.
There seem to be many other activities available as well, such as ATV rides, horseback riding, and zip-lining. I thought I would try different attractions next time I come.

The round-trip bus from Honolulu to the ranch was quite uncomfortable on the way there.
The air conditioning was too strong, making it cold, the seats were hard, and the background music was too loud. Since the pickup was at 7 AM, I couldn't even sleep on the bus in that situation.

I participated with my 7-year-old child. At the movie filming locations, the Japanese-speaking driver provided fun explanations while we toured the sites. The scenery was wonderful. Since I had only been around Waikiki before, I realized once again that this is also Hawaii.

It started to rain, and we wore raincoats. The jungle exploration was entirely in English. Unfortunately, my English isn't great, so I couldn't understand the explanations, but my child said this was the most fun part. It seemed like they enjoyed the bumpy ride.

The other activity also had explanations in Japanese after the English ones, which made me feel at ease participating. My child seemed to tire out and was a bit less energetic. Overall, everywhere you looked, there were magnificent and wild views, and it was a lot of fun.

This tour was really good, the tour guides were full of humour and fun stories to tell, the vehicles were comfortable and the tours well done. (Would've like just a -little- more time in some of the places (not a lot, just 2-3 more minutes maybe)).
But I would definitely recommend this full day tour to anyone, there's something for everyone at Kualoa Ranch.

VELTRA deserves praise too, I got a voucher from a friend and had trouble redeeming it, contacted VELTRA on Facebook and was told I had to call to book the tour and they would add my voucher. As I didn't have a working phone available they managed to transform the voucher into points and add them to my VELTRA account. I was then free to use it for this booking. Thank you for making it so easy for me :-)

It seems there were many participants that day, as we took two buses. As we drove along the coast towards the North Shore for about 70 minutes, we could see pastures on the left, and soon we spotted the sign for Kualoa Ranch. In the pastures, there were cows, cows, and more cows, along with a cowboy on horseback, which heightened our excitement.

We were welcomed by staff playing the ukulele in front of the guest center and received explanations about the meeting points for each activity. After that, everyone participated in their chosen course. The meal was a simple buffet, and later the staff informed us that the chicken and pork were raised on the ranch. It seems that popular courses like horseback riding and the ATV tour fill up quickly, so it's best to make reservations early. If the weather isn't good (you'll need a change of clothes if it rains), the value of the experience diminishes a bit.

If you want to visit the filming locations, you need to join the movie set tour to see everything. Reviews mention that you can see some parts from the ATV and horseback riding, but we only caught glimpses. The movie set tour provides thorough explanations, and there are tours available in Japanese as well. It was an immersive tour that allowed us to fully enjoy the great nature of Kualoa. There was no wasted time, and we were able to see all the highlights. However, it was stated that long pants were absolutely necessary, but they weren't needed at all (they might be required for horseback riding). Additionally, a buffet-style lunch was included, but honestly, it wasn't very tasty. I think it's better to bring some light snacks to eat. There are plenty of spots for taking photos, but for the jungle tour, the left side of the front seats is the best for taking pictures!

Whenever I go to Hawaii, I usually spend my time at the beach and shopping, so this time I wanted to try something more active and joined a tour. However, the waiting time between each tour was boring, especially with kids. There wasn't really anywhere to pass the time...

I think the tour content would be enjoyable for movie fans (those who know a lot about it). I only knew a little (and just some parts), so I started to find the tour tiring and wanted to go home by lunchtime, haha. The bumpy ride on the jungle tour was more intense than I imagined; it felt like a serious version of Star Tours at Tokyo Disneyland, haha. I was so busy trying to keep the kids in check that I couldn't really enjoy the scenery. But since I had wanted to go at least once, I’m glad I got to understand the content.

Since the time commitment is long, I think for those who are just a little interested, it would be sufficient to just stop by with a rental car. The ocean view from Kualoa Ranch was really beautiful and different from Waikiki Beach. I heard you can see whales in the winter, so I’d like to come back during that time. Sorry for digressing!

でも一度行ってみたかったので内容がわかったよかったです。
拘束時間が長いので、少し見たいって方は、レンタカーで少し寄る程度で
充分かと思います。クアロア牧場から見える海はワイキキビーチとは違って
すごく綺麗でしたよ。くじらが冬に見えるそうなのでその時期にまた来たいです、話逸れましたが。

I participated alone because I wanted to see the filming locations. First of all, there was way too much free time, making it tough for a solo participant. I give it one star for being a solo experience, but even if there were two people, the rating would still be questionable.

I had to listen to the same explanations multiple times, and the jungle tour was guided by a foreigner, so I couldn't understand anything they were saying. They endlessly explained Hawaii's history in English, which wasn't enjoyable at all.

It's just a tour of a vast ranch. Regarding the cinema tour, the bus stops at each filming spot for a photo session with each group. We had to line up until it was our turn to take pictures, and even if we wanted to move on, we couldn't. It was tough for a solo participant.

What is this? An Instagram-worthy tour? I thought to myself. It might be a good tour for those who want to take Instagram-worthy photos, even if it costs a lot.

In any case, I won't go again. I would have preferred to just hang out at Waikiki Beach.

何これ？インスタ映えツアーか？
って思うツアーです。高いお金を払ってもインスタ映えがしたい人には良いツアーかもしれません。
とりあえず二度と行きません。こんなことなら、ワイキキビーチで遊んでたら良かった。

① It was early in the morning, and since I arrived in Honolulu the day before, I confirmed the meeting place the night before. There were many people lined up in the morning, and there were staff members around, so I had no trouble finding it.

③正直イラネと思ってましたが（セットなので仕方なく）意外に楽しかったです。ここにも映画のセットがありました。英語ガイドに比べると日本語ガイドの情報量が少なくて、もうちょっと勉強しておいてほしかったです。
④クアロアランチでは数十本の映画ドラマのロケ地となりました。あのシーンここだったんだ！と開始から終了まで驚き尽くしでした。ガイドの方が素晴らしかったです。とっても楽しかった！
⑤ビュッフェスタイルのランチです。ロティサリーチキンがおいしかった。
⑥これもイラネって思ってましたが、意外性No.1かもです。ここでも映画ロケ地跡があり、ジュラシックワールドのあのシーンがセットそのままに蘇ります。

次はもっと早くに予約して、ホースバックツアーやATVでクアロアランチ堪能したいです。

This tour was quite an adventure, complete with beautiful views, good food, and of course an exciting ride. Ty, our guide, shared all kinds of historic and pop culture facts related to the ranch. We learned a little about the original irrigation system from the ranch's early plantation days and even got to walk the full length of an irrigation tunnel and explored a small cave. We also saw a recent Hawaii Five-0 filming location, hand fed some cows, and ate fresh tropical fruit right off the plant. Ty also let us set the pace for the ride...we chose fast and rough and he did not disappoint. A couple times I thought we were going to spin out or flip over, which is exactly what we wanted!
I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun adventure.

I read that I could choose from several tours at Kualoa, so I thought that was the case when I signed up. However, by the time we departed, the tour I was participating in and its order were already decided.

ツアー開始が9:15だったのに、朝の集合時間は6:50、バスが来たのは7:00、クアロアランチに着いたのは8:00。。あまり座るところもない中、正直開始まで1時間もあるのはかなり持て余します。小さい子供と行く場合はなおさらです。あと1時間寝てから参加させてあげたかったです。。
山なので天候が不安定なのは分かりますが、ザーザーぶりの雨で、バスは窓からビチョビチョ、雨漏りもするのであれば、簡単なポンチョやレインコートを配るくらいのサービスはして欲しいです。
雨が最高に強く降っている中、ワイキキに戻るバスにいますぐ乗ってと言われたのには正直引きました、、あれじゃ買った写真も雨でダメになりますよ。

I participated in the movie location tour, jungle experience tour, and Taste of Farm tour. 午後のテイスト〜ツアーは、あまり面白くなかったですが、全体を通して、とても充実したツアーだったと思います。
今回は乗馬やバギー、ジップラインに参加しませんでしたが、乗馬やバギーは見ていて本当に楽しそうでした。次行く機会があればそちらを体験したいです。
今回はアラモアナセンター付近で送迎してもらい、とても便利でした。行ってみて初めて、これは自力で行くのはあまりに難儀、と思いました。ツアーに参加されるのが間違いないですし、到着後も日本人スタッフさんが丁寧に日程説明してくださり安心です。
