We participated as a family of four, including two children (a third-year middle school student and a fourth-year elementary school student). We joined a movie location tour and a visit to Secret Island.

During the movie location tour, a Japanese guide explained the places used for filming movies and commercials while showing us the breathtaking spots on Oahu. The view of the coastline from the mountains was particularly stunning.

At Secret Island, we were able to casually experience various ocean activities, and the kids were very satisfied. They tried sea kayaking and paddling on a longboard for the first time. While opinions may vary, I appreciated that it wasn't a system where someone teaches you; instead, the equipment was just laid out for us to use freely, making it a very relaxed experience.

This was my sixth trip to Hawaii, and I was invited by my daughter to visit Kualoa for the first time. After having a fun conversation with the pickup staff, we arrived after about an hour on the bus. We participated in the location tour, a jeep tour, and a Kaneohe Bay cruise. The location tour was just as I imagined, and it was quite noisy as we were with a group from a training trip in Japan. The jeep tour was more enjoyable than I expected. Our driver, Mr. Leonald, provided easy-to-understand explanations and offered great service by taking photos at the stopping points. The cruise felt a bit like a way to kill time, but the ocean was very beautiful. I think Kualoa is a place worth visiting at least once to enjoy the great nature.

This is my several times visiting Hawaii. I usually do marine sports, but this time I participated in the Kualoa Tour for the first time. I wasn't expecting much, but I was overwhelmed by the magnificent nature. I was able to relax and take my time. My elementary school children also said they want to go again! Myself and two daughters (17,21) choose the Adventure package because we couldn't decide on which tour to do, so many options. We did the jungle expedition, Hollywood tour and the 800 year old fish pond. The guides were all very knowledgeable but most of all entertaining. The ranch has a deep history and the staff has done well to respect what was once there and is still being used today. Beautiful trip!

We are residents in Hawaii, actually we moved here from California about 5 years ago and while kids are off school on their fall break, I decided to take them out. I didn't realize there's actually a lot to do and see here, thanks to my cousin, Emily, who works for VELTRA that recommended me to do these things.

Kualoa Ranch is amazingly beautiful! We checked-in at 8:00am to do the Full Day Experience Pass and it was the perfect time as we were able to do four different activities. We did the Jungle Expedition and although it was a really bumpy ride (which is quite fun actually), the view of the Chinaman's hat island upon reaching the top after our small hike was breathtaking! We did the Ocean Voyaging which is nice also as we got to see the view of the windward side from a far, the Ranch & Movie Tour, and the Ancient Fishing Grounds & Tropical Gardens Tour. Buffet lunch was also included in the Value Pass and the menu items are so ono(delicous)! Overall, it was a really fun and exciting experience!

Private beach → lunch → movie village → jeep experience, but there was absolutely no time between each tour, and we only had about 15 minutes for lunch before heading to the movie village tour. After that, it was off to the jeep location... It felt like there was no time even to go to the restroom. The kids wanted to look at souvenirs, but the schedule was set so tightly that we barely made it back to the bus on time...

It was a full-day tour, but I ended up exhausted.

The private beach wasn't as beautiful as I expected... It felt like there was nothing to do after about an hour...

The person who organized everything was fluent in Japanese and was very helpful.

But I don't think I'll go again...

The return bus had both Japanese and American passengers, but everyone was shocked by the driver's rough driving! The movie location tour was very interesting. Not only did we see Jurassic Park, but we also got to see sets from Godzilla and Journey to the Center of the Earth 2. At the site of the large tree used in Jurassic Park, we could get off the bus and take photos. It was fun to drive around the vast Kualoa Ranch by bus. From what I could see from the bus, horseback riding just looked like sitting on a horse and walking, so it didn't seem very exciting. Riding in the jeep on the bumpy road was quite thrilling.

This was my second half-day tour. I applied just by seeing "half-day tour" online, so I didn't realize that the activities available were limited. Due to a mistake in the guide's explanation, after waiting for my turn, I was told, "With this band color, you cannot go horseback riding," which was disappointing. If I had known in advance, I could have paid an additional fee to upgrade, but unfortunately, I didn't have the time.

Recently, it seems that the display has changed, and the available activities are listed, but I think it would be clearer to state, "Horseback riding is not available on this course." (By the way, upgrading is cheaper.) Also, since the guide for the pickup and drop-off is different, I couldn't ask immediately, and while I was having it confirmed at the reception, time passed, and I regret that time was wasted.

I think movie location tours and jeep tours can be enjoyable regardless of how many times you go, as the fun varies depending on the guide and the members you ride with.

Although a very new Kualoa ranch tour the operators were keen to learn and improve where possible. My wife and I enjoyed the tour and picnic lunch, the guide was both helpful and informative. Although we have done other ranch tours on previous visits this was the first time we had a composite tour and enjoyed seeing parts we had not seen previously. We highly recomend this tour and found it value for money.

The wife and I enjoyed this tour immensely. We had always been doing the Waikiki stuff on vacation in Hawaii before now, but this time we decided to see what was on the Eastside of the island.

And by far, we both feel this is the prettiest spot on the whole island. It is quieter and really does have that "Old Hawaii" feel to it. The tour was excellent, the ranch is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable in answering every question we had.

Our first date was to the movie Jurassic Park too, so that was a really neat added benefit, to visit the place some scenes were actually filmed there! Would highly recommend this tour!
