There was one Japanese staff member at the information center, which was helpful. You can take photos at each location before participating and purchase them before leaving. It was $20. I attended the "VIP Waikiki Luau Buffet & Show." It starts with a buffet-style dinner. Each table is set with plates, and you serve yourself. The beautifully roasted pork and roast beef are cut carefully by the chef right in front of you, creating a lively atmosphere! There’s also a wide variety of fresh salads, yakisoba, grilled chicken, and more, which made my plate overflow.

Before the meal, we were served a welcome Mai Tai. It had a tropical aroma that perfectly matched the Hawaiian atmosphere. With a Mai Tai in hand, a naturally smiling time began.

Amidst this, a local woman appeared with a ukulele. She had the vibe of a lovely neighbor rather than a staff member, and she went around to each table, delivering gentle and warm live performances. Even though it was a short time, being enveloped by her singing and the atmosphere felt like my heart was melting away.

During the meal, hula dancers performed authentic hula right in front of us. Their vibrant yet graceful movements felt like the very essence of the Hawaiian breeze. The dancers were so close that it felt easy to take photos. Additionally, the "Hula Dance Experience Time" started, allowing anyone to join in casually. I decided on this tour after arriving in Hawaii. The day after I made the reservation on my smartphone, the tour company contacted me in Japanese to confirm my booking and kindly provided details about the meeting place. The meeting time on the day of the tour was reasonable, which was great.

We started off by eating malasadas right away, and then we stopped at various places, which gave us plenty of opportunities to take photos. We also visited a macadamia nut farm where we got to taste samples and pick up some souvenirs.

For lunch, we had garlic shrimp, which was delicious. After that, we had something like banana spring rolls for dessert. At the North Shore, we were able to see sea turtles as well. The food was included in the tour, making it a fulfilling day overall.

We saw many sea turtles from the boat in the turtle zone, and at a different snorkeling point from the sandbar, we encountered a variety of fish. You can walk from the hotel in Waikiki, making good use of your time. At the reception, they placed a lei around my neck, and the buffet started at an outdoor table. The first performer played the ukulele and sang familiar songs like "Happy Birthday" and "Kaimalahila," which was a delightful surprise. Following that, there was a hula dance right in front of us, making our meal even more enjoyable. Towards the end of the buffet, there was a hula dance experience lesson that anyone could join. During my turn, we learned the basic movements to the song "Pearly Shells," and when the music started, dancing together was incredibly fun. The buffet was delicious, and I was satisfied all the way to dessert.

The main show moved indoors, and I got to watch the performance from the center of the front row. The dancing and singing were lively, and the hula was authentic, while the fire performances were breathtaking. Everything had a sense of richness, and I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful night in Hawaii. I want to go again.

受付ではレイをかけていただき、外の席でビッフェがスタートしました。最初にウクレレをひいてくださる方がバースデーソングやカイマラヒラのフラソングをひいてくださり知っている曲だったので感激しました。つづいてフラダンスを目の前で踊ってくれてご飯中もとても楽しめました。ビッフェの終盤にはフラダンスの体験レッスンがあり誰でも参加できて、私の時はパーリーシェルという曲で基本の動作を教えてくれてすぐに曲がかかりみんなで踊ったのが最高に楽しかったです。ビッフェも味が美味しくてデザートまで満足しました。
本番のショーは室内に移動して最前列の真ん中でパフォーマンスをみれて踊りに歌にノリノリでフラダンスも本格的だし、火をつかうパフォーマンスは圧巻でした。
全てにおいてリッチ感があり素晴らしいハワイの夜を堪能できました。
また行きたいです。

We participated as a family with our one-year-old. We were guided to our seats with the stroller for the buffet. There were soft chicken and fruits available that even children could eat. The kids seemed to enjoy the show. They fell asleep partway through, but it felt completely fine to leave if they started crying. It might be reassuring to secure seats by the aisle.
