I circled around Oahu, and the sandbar was the most beautiful and left the biggest impression on me. There were about 20 participants, and among them, there were 7 Japanese, including us, and there was also a Japanese staff member, which made me feel very secure.

Hawaii is not just Oahu. Indeed, the Big Island is different. The sheer size and wonder of its natural beauty left me in awe. Seeing the flow of lava with my own eyes overwhelmed me with the differences compared to Japanese volcanoes. This is a sight that you can only understand by seeing it; the scale is indescribable. The schedule of leaving at 5 AM and returning at 8 PM was certainly tough. However, upon arriving at Kona Airport and making my way back from Hilo Airport, I truly felt the vastness and simplicity of the Big Island, and I sensed that I would choose to stay on the Big Island for my next trip. It was disappointing that the lava flow had stopped, but I look forward to the next time.

I participated at the end of January.

The time spent on the boat was shorter than I expected, and although I took motion sickness medication just in case, I didn't really need it.

The sandbar was shallow, about 10 centimeters below my knees. Surrounded by the ocean in all directions, the view was absolutely stunning and I was moved!

There were about five groups of Japanese people, but more than half were foreigners. There were also staff members who spoke Japanese and were very kind, reaching out to us. I don't understand English, but the foreign staff's vibe was really fun and enjoyable.

I was excited to see sea turtles swimming and took photos of them.

After that, we moved to the snorkeling spot, but I felt the water temperature was low, so I enjoyed sunbathing on the boat while watching. That was also pleasant and enjoyable.

I think anyone who hasn't experienced a sandbar before would have a great time!

If I go again, I would like to visit in the summer and try snorkeling again.

その後、シュノーケルスポットへ移動しましたが
私は水温が低く感じてボートの上で日光浴をしながら
見ていましたが、それはそれで気持ちよくて楽しめました。

まだサンドバーを経験したことの無い人なら楽しめると思います！

次回行くならば、夏に行ってシュノーケルをリベンジしたいです。

We participated as a family of four, consisting of a senior couple and two daughters. The activity included transportation, and when we got off the bus that picked us up at the meeting point, we were greeted by a captain with a stern face. However, his eloquence drew us in and made us laugh, making the approximately 45-minute ride to the dock feel short.

Upon arriving at the sandbar on our private boat, I was amazed to discover such a place in the middle of the spacious Kaneohe Bay… it felt like a miracle of nature. With waves breaking on the distant reef and the green mountains and islands surrounding the bay, there’s no other place where you can relax like this.

Previously, I always went to Hanauma Bay for its coral sea, but the coral I saw while snorkeling here was all alive. The variety of colorful fish and coral is incredible, and I highly recommend bringing a waterproof camera. We also saw many HONU (turtles), so there’s no doubt you’ll have a great time.

Unfortunately, when we participated, it was during a full moon, and the water depth was about 10-15 cm. If you want to fully enjoy the white sandbar, it seems best to check the tide and go around the middle of the new moon and full moon. I also appreciated the captain's singing (he was referred to as the general)… it was a delightful experience.

様々な色の魚と珊瑚、絶対に防水のカメラを持って行くことをお勧めします。
HONU（亀）も数多く見ることができ、楽しめること間違いなしです。
ただ残念なことに、参加したときは満月の時期、10~15cmほどの水深でした。
ホワイトサンドバーを十分に楽しみたいときは、潮の満ち引きの確認を、新月と満月のちょうど真ん中が良いようです。
キャプテン（ジェネラルと言われていた）の歌にも…感謝です。楽しませていただきました。

As soon as we set off by boat, the view of the Ko'olau mountain range from the sea is truly majestic, just as it has been featured in movies and dramas. The sandbar was incredibly beautiful and exceeded my expectations. There were areas shallow enough to reach my ankles. Sitting there felt a bit like being in a hot spring... There was also a Japanese guide, so even if you don't understand English, you can feel at ease, and I was very satisfied. At the sandbar, we could play volleyball and practice snorkeling for about an hour, and just relax. You can also enjoy drinks (for a fee). The hamburger for lunch was delicious. During this season, it can get a bit chilly when it's cloudy, so we Japanese wore long-sleeved parkas and covered ourselves with beach towels. We were able to warm up with hot drinks. I felt a bit disappointed that the snorkeling might have been clearer if the sun had been out. However, as a beginner, I felt safe jumping in because there were life jackets available. They throw food into the water while you're swimming, so you can see plenty of fish. I was able to see a turtle floating on the surface of the water from the boat. It was so cute. It was difficult to expect to see a sandbar like the ones in guidebooks, so I tried to keep my expectations low when participating.

The stay on the sandbar was about an hour, but I think everyone could fully enjoy their time taking photos, playing beach volleyball, lying down and gazing at the sky, and snorkeling.

At that time, the Japanese guide also came down from the boat and took many photos for us, which I really appreciated.

Afterward, we ate hamburgers that were grilled on the boat and did some sea turtle watching from the boat. Since we were watching from the boat, we could only see the turtles' heads popping up, which was a bit disappointing for me as I wanted to swim with them.

But luckily, five manta rays came close to the boat, and we were able to see them.

Finally, we went snorkeling around a coral reef that was about the size of a football field.

I have a scuba diving license and have seen coral reefs several times, but this was the most beautiful one I have ever seen. It spread out like a flower garden just a few dozen centimeters below the surface.

I also went snorkeling at Hanauma Bay the day before, but the coral there seemed mostly dead, and I could hardly see any coral, just black rocks, although I did spot some fish that were larger than those in the true reef. After snorkeling, there was no place to change until we returned to the hotel, so we took the bus back in our swimsuits. Overall, it was a very satisfying tour. I would love to participate again when I visit Hawaii.

しかし、実際は当日のコンディションもよかったせいか、とても長いサンドバーができて、どこまでも海の真ん中を歩いていけそうな感じで、感動的な光景を見ることができました。

あと、ちゃんと日本人のガイドさんも1人いらっしゃったので、とても安心してツアーに参加できました。

サンドバーの滞在時間は１時間ほどでが、写真を撮ったり、ビーチバレーをしたり、寝転んで空を眺めたり、シュノーケリングをしたりとそれぞれの時間を十分満喫できると思います。

このとき。日本人ガイドさんも船から下りてきてくれて写真を沢山とってくれました。とても有難かったです。

その後、船で焼いてくれたハンバーガーを食べて、船の上から海亀ウォッチングをしました。船の上からのウォッチングだったので、ちょこんと出す頭を見れるだけなので亀と一緒に泳ぎたかった私的にはちょっと残念でした。

でも運よくマンタが5匹が船のすぐそばまで寄ってきて見ることができました。

最後に、フットボールコート1面くらいある珊瑚礁の周りをシュノーケリングをしました。

私は、スキューバーダイビングのライセンスがあるので、何度が珊瑚礁を見たことありますが、私が今まで見た中で一番美しかったです。水面から数十センチのところにお花畑のように一面に広がっていました。

ハナウマ湾でも前日シュノーケリングをしたのですが、そちらの珊瑚礁はほとんど死んでいるのかあまり珊瑚がみれず、黒い岩ばかりでしたが、真タイより大きいような魚がポツポツ見れました。こちらは珊瑚礁がホントに素晴らしく魚も沢山いますが、大型の魚はあまりいませんでした。どちらが良いかは好みですかね。私は、断然こちらの方が好きです。

シュノーケリング後はホテルに帰るまで着替えの場所はないので、水着のままバスに乗りホテルまで帰ります。寒さに弱い女性の方は、パーカーとか寒さ対策できるもの必ず持っていった方が良いと思います。
又は、輪になっているタオルのようなもので船の上で着替がえるのが1番良いと思いました。ホント寒かったです。

全体的に大満足なツアーでした。
またハワイに行った時はぜひ参加したいです。

I participated in the Christmas season last month. Since it was winter, the sea was a bit rough, but it was such an amazing tour that I didn't mind at all. We saw a lot of dolphins, and they were really close! I was also surprised to see a whale for the first time! The staff were incredibly kind, which warmed my heart. The taro burger for lunch was delicious—I want to eat it again! The hula instructor was also very entertaining, making it a tour that any Hawaii lover would enjoy, allowing you to truly experience Hawaii. I've participated in other dolphin tours, but I think Dolphin and You is by far the best. Honestly, the quality of the staff and the content is unmatched compared to other dolphin tours. If you're looking for a satisfying tour, I absolutely recommend it!!!

I had seen the ocean in Hawaii a few times, but I was truly moved to discover such a calm and beautiful place. When I got on the bus, most of the people around me were foreigners, and the explanations from the captain were all in English, which left me feeling confused, thinking, "What should I do? I can't understand!" However, there were Japanese staff members present, and they made sure that Japanese guests were seated together and provided explanations, which made me feel at ease.

The weather was a bit bad and cold, but I was able to play beach volleyball and had a great time. The hamburger for lunch was even more delicious than I expected, and the fact that they grilled the meat on the boat like a BBQ made it even tastier.

At the turtle spot, I was able to see turtles coming up for air and swimming around. There was plenty of time for snorkeling, and I could take photos with an underwater camera, which created wonderful memories.

I think I had a fun time thanks to the cheerful and kind staff, as well as the diverse group of guests from various countries participating together.

ウミガメスポットでは息継ぎにあがってくるカメや泳いでるかめを見ることができました。
シュノーケルの時間もたっぷりあって、水中カメラで撮影する事も出来たのですごくいい思い出です。

スタッフが明るくて親切だったのと、いろんな国のお客さんが一緒に参加していた事で楽しい時間を過ごせたと思います。

The weather was perfect, and we renewed our vows against the backdrop of Diamond Head and a beautiful sunset, which made my parents very happy. The service on the top floor was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Considering the food and service, I think the price is reasonable. I highly recommend it for special occasions.

I am so happy that I was able to participate on this activity - it was WONDERFUL! I loved my Cousin Lloyd who was my group guide... everyone was wonderful, friendly, informative, and very respectful of their responsibilities - portraying to us the visitors a part of history and sharing of their culture. Everyone was funny, attentive and kind. I loved it! I will definitely do this again for my future visits. The Luau was delicious and Ha: The Breath of Life was incredible... too bad the video was not available for me to bring for my family to see in AZ. A big thanks for everyone that makes this possible from funding, to costumes, practices, etc... I truly appreciate all the work and effort involved in this. God bless!

I was amazed by the white world as far as the eye could see. Hawaii is famous for surfing, so I was impressed to find such a tranquil sea. The scenery was so fantastical that I felt like I was in a commercial. The hamburger patty for lunch was grilled by the staff on the boat!!! It was not only delicious but also quite filling, which made me satisfied. The fact that non-alcoholic drinks were unlimited felt like a great deal. We snorkeled a little away from the sandbar, and I was moved to hear that the coral reef was alive. This spot had many fish, and the coral was beautiful. I swam with fins, which made it easy to move and felt great. We then changed locations to see sea turtles. My digital camera ran out of battery halfway through, so I had to use a disposable underwater camera. As the guide said, the turtles come up for air, which is quite cute!!! I was worried about whether I could capture that adorable moment, but I managed to take photos of the swimming turtles. I also saw turtles on the beach during a different tour, but since they weren't moving, it was a bit disappointing. I was excited to see swimming turtles up close for the first time.

Also, since there were many non-Japanese tourists, I really felt like I was abroad. The explanations were given in both Japanese and English. Perhaps because I received the explanation in Japanese first, I felt like I could understand the English explanation as well. That aspect was refreshing, and I had an incredibly satisfying experience. I think this tour is enjoyable for everyone, from children to the elderly!

本当に自分がCMに出演してるんじゃないかと思えるくらい幻想的な光景に酔ってしまいました。
昼食で食べるハンバーガーのハンバーグも、ボートの上でスタッフがグリルしてました!!!匂いだけじゃなく食べても美味でそこそこボリュームもあり満足。ノンアルコールドリンクなら飲み放題ってとこもお得な感じがしました。サンドバーから少し動いたところでシュノーケルをするのですが、珊瑚礁が生きているときいて感動しました。こちらのポイントは魚も多く、珊瑚礁も美しかったです。フィンを付けて泳いだので、結構進むし気持ちよかったです。またポイントを変えて、ウミガメも見に行きました。デジカメの電池が途中でなくなってしまったので、使い捨ての水中カメラでの撮影となりました。ガイドさんの言うとおり、カメは息継ぎで顔を上げるんです。ちょっと可愛いです!!!その愛らしい瞬間を写せたかどうか心配でしたが、泳いでるカメを写真に残すことができてました。違うツアーで、浜辺にいるカメも見学しましたが、動きがないので微妙でした。今回初めて泳いでいるカメを間近で見ることができたので興奮しました。
あと、ツアー客は日本人じゃない方が多かったせいか、海外に来てるって実感がありました。説明も日本語と英語と分けて行われます。最初に日本語で説明を受けているせいか、英語の説明も理解出来るような気になれました。そんなところも新鮮で良い体験が出来たと超満足しています。お子さんからお年寄りまで、誰でも楽しめるツアーだと思います♪

We opted for the 4 hour guided tour. Our guide Sheila was fun and extremely knowledgeable. She gave us history, marine biology, and geology lessons as we kayaked out to one of the off shore islands and while exploring the island. The folks on the 2 hour tour were there as long as we were, but they spent less time kayaking and did not visit the island we did - I highly recommend opting for the 4 hour tour. You'll get a lot more kayak time and a much more interesting island to visit.

This is my third time in Hawaii, but it was my first time participating in a sandbar tour. I heard it was featured in a TV commercial, and the water was truly clear with a wonderful view. I thought it was sand, but I learned that it was coral that had been eroded, which explains the high transparency.

At first, I practiced snorkeling, and when we moved to the coral reef, I was able to dive in smoothly. However, the water was a bit cold. At the coral reef, I was able to see a lot of fish. The day before, I went on a different tour to see sea turtles on the beach. Naturally, they were not moving, and I was happy to see them up close, but the sea turtles I saw at the sandbar were swimming, which was exciting in a way! The way the turtles surfaced was very impressive, and I was satisfied with the photos I took.

The cheeseburger for lunch was also very delicious, and since the non-alcoholic drinks were all-you-can-drink, I felt it was a good deal. 当然のことながら動きがなく、近くで見れたのは嬉しかったのですが、サンドバーで見た海カメは泳いでいるので、或る意味興奮しました!!!カメが水面に顔を出す仕草がとても印象的で、写真も上手く撮れて満足です。
ランチのチーズバーガーもとても美味しくて、ノンアルコールドリンクは飲み放題だったため、お得に感じました。
本当に日本人以外のお客さんも多く、海外にきているという気分も味わえ、片言の英語で会話をしたりなど、よい体験が出来ました。

This was our second trip to Hawaii, my husband who is 53 and I who am 51. This time, we were really looking forward to the sandbar and our first snorkeling experience.

The pickup location was not at our hotel but in the lobby of a nearby hotel. We waited for about 20 minutes, which made us a bit anxious, but finally, our guide arrived. When our names were called and we boarded the microbus, I noticed that there were only a few Japanese people, and most of the group was from Australia. The guide, who was quite cheerful, also seemed to be a local rather than Japanese, and all the instructions and explanations on the way to the port were in English. I realized that most of the guides for optional tours in Hawaii are either Japanese or Japanese-speaking Nikkei. Even though I was in a foreign country, I felt excited to finally be in a place where I could immerse myself in English.

When we arrived at the port, another large bus had already arrived, and we merged with that group. There was a cute Japanese girl as the guide for that group. On the boat, there were about equal numbers of Japanese and people from other countries, totaling around 40 people. We set off with the captain, who was driving the boat, and three staff members. We received various instructions, including how to use the snorkeling gear, in both Japanese and English as we approached the sandbar.

Unfortunately, even in the most lively area, the water was only about 20 centimeters deep, and it didn’t look like the pictures I had seen. However, even in the deeper areas, the water was only up to my waist or chest. We practiced snorkeling for about an hour, played beach volleyball, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Of course, even small children had no trouble at all. You could stand in the middle of the ocean! It was amazing.

What impressed me next was the large hamburger made with patties grilled by the captain on the deck. It was very delicious.

Unfortunately, during the actual snorkeling session after we moved to a different spot, I couldn’t muster the courage and just watched everyone swimming from the boat, enjoying the scenery. Even so, it felt wonderful and was a lot of fun. Next time, I will definitely challenge myself to try snorkeling.

港に着くと、もう一台の大きなバスが先に到着していて合流。そちらの方にはカワイイ日本人の女の子のガイドさんでした。ボートには日本人と他の国の方がだいたい半々で、全員で40人位でしたでしょうか。ボートを運転する船長さん？とスタッフ３人で出発。日本語と英語に分かれて、シュノーケルの使い方を含むいろいろな説明を聞きながらサンドバーに到着。

あいにく一番盛り上がっている所でも海面の下２０センチ位で、写真で見たような感じではなかったけれど、その周辺は深い所でも小柄な私の腰や胸辺り。約１時間シュノーケルの練習をしたり、ビーチバレーをしたり、みなさんとても楽しそうでした。もちろん小さな子供さんもぜんぜん大丈夫です。海のど真ん中で足が着くんですよ。感動です。

私がその次に感動したのは、デッキで船長さんが焼いてくれたパティを挟んでの大きなハンバーガー。とてもおいしかったです。

残念ながら、その後移動してからの本番のシュノーケルは、勇気が出なくて、船上から泳いでいるみんなの楽しそうな風景を眺めていました。それでもとっても気持ちが良く、楽しかった。次回は必ずシュノーケル挑戦します。

However, when we arrived at the shallow area, it seemed to be slightly high tide, so the sandbar wasn't visible. It was also great to see fish while snorkeling. The cheeseburger we had for lunch in the middle of the sea was exceptional! I was a bit disappointed that I could only see a turtle swimming from a distance. However, it was so much more beautiful than Waikiki Beach, so if I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would love to go back!

A fantastic pod of dolphins appeared right nearby, and I was so excited! I was thrilled to see multiple dolphin spins right in front of me, along with a baby dolphin, and I even got to hear the dolphins' "squeaks." I was completely satisfied! In addition to the dolphins, there were sea turtles and beautiful fish, and in the distance, I could see whales swimming—what an emotional experience! I truly had a wonderful time. The staff were all bright, kind, and full of service spirit! They even performed hula dancing and played the ukulele.

Waking up early was worth it! I had a truly wonderful experience. After praying and throwing flowers into the sea, we set off! Dolphins appeared right away. During snorkeling, they swam close enough to reach out and even we got to see a baby dolphin. The handmade burgers made on the boat were also fantastic. Onboard, we were able to witness the rare male hula performed by a local boy. It was a tour that satisfied me from start to finish. I definitely want to participate again!

I was worried that I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself since I can't swim. I wondered if I would be able to see dolphins properly from the boat.
However! I was able to encounter dolphins clearly from the boat, and even a pod of them!
I was so moved and healed by seeing dolphins for the first time.
Although I couldn't dive into the water, I had a fulfilling time seeing dolphins up close, kayaking, enjoying hamburgers made by the captain on board, and watching the crew dance the hula and play the ukulele. It was a tour that allowed even non-swimmers to fully enjoy the Hawaiian sea.
All the staff were very cheerful and friendly! I was able to create the best memories in Hawaii. Thank you!

First luau

My husband and I booked the Ambassador package which provided a small group guided tour. DeGe, our guide, was knowledgeable and funny. The tour didn't give us much time to see each village but the center is too big to be seen in one day so, with DeGe, we were able to see a little bit of everything. The luau was fun and the food was good. The Ha performance was also very entertaining. Well worth the money for the package.

In Waikiki, various shows are held. The most representative one is the hula show, but I definitely wanted to experience the traditional Hawaiian luau show at least once! So, I participated. Basically, everything is explained in English during the show, but it's not a problem if you don't speak English. I think if you join with a positive mindset of "Let's have fun!", it will be even more enjoyable.
