Took my kids a few years ago and loved it. They had so many activities prior to the buffet it was more like a hawaiian fair, so I had to go back and enjoy it solo this time. The scenery is breathtaking. The food is awesome! The staff is so very friendly and helpful, and the show is amazing!!!

This was my second Luau and while it is a very "touristy" thing to do, anyone who visits HI should at least go to one. This was a very entertaining Luau and the performers were outstanding and extremely talented. I was very impressed with the musicians who were multi-talented and did an amazing job with all the music. The food was really good and the drinks weren't bad either; however, the foo-foo drinks were pretty sweet. We paid for the "VIP" package and I'm still on the fence as to whether or not it was worth it. It was nice having your food brought to you and the extra drink coupons were a plus (we ended up having a little left on the card at the end of the night which we used for souvenirs). Also, you weren't with the big crowd, but you still have strangers at your table so don't expect to be alone. Also, you are in the back of the crowd (up higher than everyone else, but you are not up front like I expected). So, not sure if the extra money for the VIP was worth it, but overall the Luau was really fun and entertaining and we had a great night.

We visited Hawaii for our honeymoon, and I booked this show again for my husband, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time. We were able to watch the show in an open outdoor setting in Waikiki, and it seemed like my husband enjoyed it. The show is wonderful, but just like last time, the buffet (food) isn't particularly delicious, so it's best not to have high expectations (though the meat was good). We might not go for a third time, but I think it's worth seeing once. Also, please note that buses do not stop at the bus stop in front of the Hilton right now!

ワイキキで、そして屋外という開放的な場所でショーを見られ、旦那さんも楽しんでいたようです。

A wonderful time was had by my husband and myself. There are so many activities for everyone. Ladies can create their own head piece or wrist bands made with fresh flowers. The men threw javelins and took part in a form of Hawaiian bowling. There was activities for children. We watched the Emu ceremony (retrieving the pig from the fire pit). There was a wonderful buffet and of course the after dinner entertainment was the best. All the dancers, whether they were the girls doing the hula or the guys that were fire dancers, very professional and well trained. Best luau in town for the money.

We opted to have dinner as well as the show. We had a great dinner along with a pre-show of hula dancers. After dinner, we were escorted to the show room. These performers were the best. At one point, I had to remind myself that these were impersonators. We saw Elvis, who was one of the best that we had ever seen. Lady Gaga was fantastic and Michael Jackson would have given the real Michael Jackson a run for his money on the moon walk. If you are in Waikiki, don't miss this show. Well worth it!

I took my son to Hawaii for his birthday he has never been. My last trip was the first time I went to the luau at Paradise Cove and my friends and I just got the regular seating. Now I know, for this trip I got the deluxe dinner package same price as the vip covered but with the deluxe you are right at the stage area and it is wonderful!!!! They could serve hamburgers and hot dogs and it would be a wonderful time but they give you great food and all types of entertainment before the show even starts. If you plan on a dinner show while on your vacation you can't go wrong with this one!!! My next trip I will do this one again and again and again wonderful time

The bus tour guide was great but quite disappointed in the Center. Did not seem authentic Polynesian at all. The best time was the fire dance part of the show. The rest I could've skipped. Didn't feel like I learned anything real about the different cultures which was disappointing.

As you check in and arrive to the pier, you will be entertained with a Hula performance. You will then be directed with a pleasantly helpful staff to seat you with your tossed salad ready to be consumed. Also you will then receive a welcome Mai Tai which is very addicting and may cause you to purchase more. I had 4 of them. The all you can eat crab legs, steak, and macadamia nut ice cream was amazing. As the sun started to set, I found myself in a very relaxing area of the top deck. I was taking in the views of the ocean, land, and skies as I was just about ready to call it a night. Until we just about to reach the dock, all their employees started a party and danced like crazy. My date is not much of a dancer, but she enjoyed watching me entertain everyone. This night was a night to remember especially the service provided the staff on board. They will make sure you are always satisfied.

We participated as a family of four. Unfortunately, there was a problem with the pickup, so we didn't have enough time, which was very disappointing. We had kayaking, bodyboarding, and snorkeling included, but we couldn't do everything. For kayaking, we were upgraded to a guided tour as compensation for the trouble, and the guide was kind and made it enjoyable. However, it was very difficult for each of us to carry the kayak from the office to the beach.

Because of that, we ran out of time, and with only an hour left, we had lunch on the beach and managed to squeeze in about ten minutes of bodyboarding. We chose BBQ chicken for lunch, and it was very delicious. The guide told us that there were no coral reefs suitable for snorkeling at that beach, and since we were looking forward to it, it was really disappointing that we couldn't do it due to the lack of time. I think if we had more time, we would have enjoyed it much more.

I had learned about the sandbar from magazines and television, and I was really looking forward to visiting it at least once. Initially, I had signed up with a different tour company, but since it was fully booked, I switched to this tour, and it was the right decision. The sandbar, with its white sand emerging from the marine blue sea, was even more beautiful and mystical than I had imagined. It felt very strange to be walking on the water. The sea turtles swimming leisurely were adorable. Above all, the crew made a strong impression. They were friendly, cheerful, energetic, and had wonderful smiles, just like the sun and sea of Hawaii. There was an old man with white hair and a bald head among us guests, and they seemed to feel sorry for him, treating him with care. Thank you, Yukiko. In the first half, we played at the beach, and in the second half, we assembled the kayaks. The part where we went to the uninhabited island by kayak was sufficient for beginners in terms of physical strength and safety. It really sparked a sense of adventure, and the view from the uninhabited island was wonderful. Yasuyo, the Japanese woman who guided us, provided excellent explanations. However, due to traffic in the morning, the pickup was delayed, and we only had about 30 minutes to enjoy the beach activities (like snorkeling), and we didn't have enough time for meals; we needed about 40 more minutes. The kayaking in the second half was quite good, so I rated it 4.5 out of 5.

Tantalus Lookout was great! They gave us advice on how to take photos while we were on the bus, and the explanations about the hotels visible from the hill were really nice. As for Michel's... it was way too expensive! The meal was average, about the level of a 2,500 yen course in Japan. I guess the only thing going for it is the ocean view?

Not only did they take us to the beautiful Angel's Sea, but the tour guides also kept the atmosphere lively with their talks during the cruise, which made it so much fun. Snorkeling in the stunningly beautiful sea was an incredible experience! Next time, I want to try a tour that allows for even more marine sports!

I went there with my mom. My mother said this tour was the best among all tours. I strongly recommend you this tour. Hawaiians were very welcoming and everybody was kind!
I like especially dance performance with dinner. It was absolutely amazing!! The food was delicious and good to have a traditional food like poi.
I still have a flower necklace from Paradise cove. The sunset was also beautiful.Mahalo!

Originally, I wanted to join a private charter boat tour, but I couldn't make a reservation, so I participated in this tour instead. However, the boat for this tour was larger, which meant it had a restroom and we could take breaks during snorkeling. Since I was with my children, I ended up thinking it was a good choice. For lunch, I enjoyed a hamburger that was grilled on the boat, customized with my favorite toppings. The burger I made was delicious, and I was very satisfied. We signed up as a family of four with our 4-year-old and 7-year-old children. At Angel's Beach, the water was shallow enough for our 4-year-old to enjoy safely. The clarity of the seawater was so remarkable that it showed clearly in our phone photos.

The BBQ hamburgers for lunch were well-seasoned, and even our picky eaters enjoyed them, happily declaring them delicious!

Snorkeling took place in quite deep water, but the kids quickly got used to their life jackets, which they were initially scared of, and ended up having a great time. We were also able to see several sea turtles, which was very satisfying.

Since our guide was Japanese, the explanations were very clear, and they provided thorough information about the ocean, which can be intimidating. This was our first time in Hawaii, and we are glad we signed up for this experience.

I took my sixth grader with me.

I've been on the Heaven's Sea tour before, but if you want to relax, I think this tour is better! My child seemed to really enjoy snorkeling ^o^

For children under kindergarten age, if they are not very comfortable in the water, snorkeling might be scary and difficult. There were some kids crying, and we also cried when we were little.

It seems that snorkeling in areas where they can't touch the bottom feels frightening.

I participated because I wanted to see an authentic hula dance show.

The hula dance show featured various forms that are rarely seen in Japan, including performances by male dancers and hula danced by male-female pairs, which were truly wonderful. I'm glad I attended. Children aged 7, 5, and 3 also participated and had a great time.

However, it felt like the bus ride to and from the venue was part of the show, with the male bus guide engaging the audience in lively talks. Most of the audience were native speakers, and it created quite an exciting atmosphere. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand the content of the talks at all due to my level of English. Even my husband, who usually works in English, said it was too fast and he could only catch about half of it. But for some reason, the kids were really into it…(^^;)

I think those with a good level of English will enjoy it from start to finish. Regardless, I was satisfied because I got to see a fun show.

本格的なフラダンスのショーが見たかったので参加しました。

フラダンスのショーは、日本ではあまり見られない、男性のダンサーのショーや、男女ペアで踊るフラダンスなど、様々な形態がみられ本当に素晴らしいものでした。参加してよかったです。
7才、５才、3才の子供たちも参加しましたがとても楽しんでいました。

ただ、行きのバスの中から帰りのバスの中までがショーの一環という感じで、男性のバスガイドさんの観客を巻き込んだトークが繰り広げられます。ネイテェブのお客さんがほとんどで客を巻き込んでかなりの盛り上がりがあります。ただ残念なことに私の英語レベルだとトーク内容は全くわかりませんでした。。
普段、英語で仕事をする主人ですら、早すぎて半分ぐらいしか聞き取れないと言っていました。
でも、逆に子供たちはなぜかノリノリでした…(^^;)

こんな感じで、英語がかなりのレベルの方は最初から最後まで楽しめると思います
それをさしいても、楽しいショーが見れたので私は満足です。


服装は浜辺で行われるショーなので、ドレスアップを、してもよし、普段着でもよしだとおもいます。靴はビーチサンダルがよかったです。

Despite the ship having to return to port because of rough water we had a wonderful time. The drinks were good and the food was delicious. The lobsters were delicious and the steak was about the most tender and tasty steak I have ever had. The music and show were great.I was very appreciative that one of the dancers took a picture with me after the show. The staff was eapecialy helpfull and particularly your assitant manager.The Star of Honolulu was the highlight of our trip to Hawaii. We would definitely do it again. Highly recommended.
