This was my second time participating. Both times, the water level was about knee-high, but I was aware of that since I checked the tide information on this page from VELTRA. My husband was seriously playing volleyball at the sandbar, haha. Snorkeling was a battle against the fear of entering the ocean without being able to touch the bottom after turning 50, but once I saw the beauty underwater, I truly understood the high ratings in the reviews. People over 50 (and even older) can enjoy this too!

We participated as a family of four adults and two children (both girls, 8 years old). We drove there with a rental car, and the location was easy to find. Having participated in several similar activities before, we decided to choose this one because it seemed like there wouldn't be many Japanese people. Indeed, we hardly saw any Japanese, and we were able to enjoy the atmosphere of being abroad. I don't speak much English, but I didn't have any trouble communicating, and both the activities and the meals were great. The children were able to participate in most of the activities and seemed to have a lot of fun.

The venue is on the rooftop of the 6th floor, and every visitor is given a fresh flower lei, which you can take back to Japan. Upon entry, you can take commemorative photos with the dancers, and during the show, seats are sold for $50. Once seated, the buffet starts in order of table rank, and then the show begins. There was a sudden downpour, but the venue staff, who were older gentlemen, distributed raincoats to everyone. There's no need to worry about seasickness! Since we're in the bay, it doesn't rock at all.

The sandbar was cloudy at first, but it cleared up along the way and was absolutely beautiful.

After that, we were able to see several sea turtles during the turtle watching!

Snorkeling was also no problem for beginners! (You can practice at the sandbar.)

The hamburgers for lunch are delicious, so I highly recommend them!

Perhaps due to the large number of attendees, the weather was not particularly bad, but the event was held in an indoor facility adjacent to the outdoor venue. However, the indoor space was equipped with better lighting and facilities, which made the show even more enjoyable than it might have been outdoors.

Additionally, the fire dance was performed in a small courtyard area just outside the indoor venue. We were able to stand up from our seats and surround the performers, allowing us to see them up close and truly enjoy the experience.

人数が多かった為か、特に天候は悪くなかったのですが屋外会場でなく隣接する室内施設での開催でした。
ただ、屋内の方がライトアップ設備等が充実しており、むしろ屋外よりもショーを楽しめたのでは、と思っています。

また、ファイアーダンスのみは室内から少しだけ出た中庭のような場所で行われ、席から立って演者を囲む形で見学するのですが、とても近くで見ることが出来、楽しむことが出来ました。

The night started great with the friendly, funny driver and host. He made us feel comfortable and welcome. Paradise Cove is one of the most beautiful locations i have ever been to. All the activities before the show were fun! I loved that i was able to use my cove card at the marketplace. All the staff was so friendly and the dinner was delicious! I purchased The deluxe package which included GREAT seats and table service so i didn't even have to get up for anything. The waiters were very attentive and kept making sure i was doing ok. The show was the best luau performance i have ever seen! The performers did an AWESOME job! I will definitely attend the luau next time i come to Hawaii.

So glad we chose this fireworks dinner cruise over others. Captains Tiger and Stephanie and the staff put in so much effort to make you feel welcome and have a good time. Dinner was served as it was cooked, so it was all hot and fresh, and we had the perfect spot for a view of the fireworks show. On the way back, we were treated to hula performances and fire spinning. It was a very nice evening and we will do it again.

The food was exceptional especially considering the number of people being served. The staff was polite and very accommodating. The young entertainers interacted with the crowd and performed in their traditional attire. We came back to the port with a bang, singing and dancing. I would definitely recommend this cruise. My only disappointment was that the harbor/tower area used to be filled with shops. It was our last night on the island and it would have been nice to purchase those last minute sovereigns. Now it’s just empty with a few eateries.

I felt very safe with the Japanese staff at the center. The locals were also kind and communicated in English, so I was able to enjoy everything without any inconvenience, even though I only speak Japanese! The hamburger on the boat was the most delicious I had on this trip (^ ^). There was plenty of free time, and they clearly communicated important information, so I was able to relax and fully enjoy the beautiful sea! I was lucky to swim with a sea turtle. There was a shuttle to the Alohilani Hotel, and on the way back, they guided us as well.

In the vast nature, with easy-to-understand explanations from a Japanese guide, I was able to see various plants and also enjoyed some tastings. Since various movie filming locations and sets are still preserved, it was a lot of fun!

- Jungle Expedition & Kualoa Legends Tour
Riding in the back of a large jeep-like vehicle, we went through the jungle, which was quite thrilling. The gate from Jurassic World was there, and there were even claw marks left by the Indominus Rex on the wall! I was able to touch on history and had a very valuable experience.

- Movie Filming Locations & Ranch Tour
In the midst of wonderful scenery, the landscapes I saw in the movies spread out before me, and I was very moved! The fallen tree where Dr. Grant and the children hid from the approaching dinosaur in Jurassic Park is still there, and you can take commemorative photos there! I also got to see famous movie scenes and sets from Jurassic World and King Kong, making it the best experience!

In the river, we saw Hawaiian plants and fruits, and fish swimming around. There were also people living in luxurious homes having a party, and they cheerfully called out to us, asking if we were having fun with a microphone in hand!

My wife got a bit tired in the river, so I decided to challenge myself and go to the sea alone. There were some people being swept away, possibly due to the strong winds, but it seemed okay since the wind was not blowing out to sea. Personally, I found the waves to be more enjoyable. I recommend that those who are less strong try the areas with fewer waves. Mieko was also an interesting person and taught us carefully. I fell in once, but I would like to try again!

I signed up for a tour with a Japanese guide.
We had about two hours of free time at the beginning, and I rented a bike to go to Lanikai Beach!
They carefully taught us how to ride the bike and kayak, so even beginners can enjoy it with peace of mind.
They also lend out snorkeling gear and mats, so you can go hands-free! Both Lanikai Beach and Kailua Beach were incredibly beautiful, and we saw plenty of fish even in the shallow waters!
The guide led us while kayaking, and they took lots of photos for us.
We learned a lot about the island, and it was a very fulfilling experience!
We even saw a sea turtle while kayaking, which was a rare experience!
Honolulu is busy and urban, but Kailua was relaxed and comfortable!
The Japanese staff, as well as the other staff members, were all friendly, and even though we couldn't speak English well, we had a great time!
I forgot my smartphone on the bus on the way back, and when I contacted them, they quickly returned it to me, which was a big help. Thank you very much.

シュノーケルやござも貸してくれるので手ぶらでオッケーです！ラニカイビーチもカイルアビーチもとっても綺麗で浅瀬でも魚がたくさん見れました！

島のことも色々と知れて、かなり充実した内容でした！
カヤックで海ガメも見れて、貴重な体験ができました！
ホノルルは人も多いし都会だけど、カイルアはゆったりしていて居心地がよかったです！
日本人スタッフはもちろん、他のスタッフさんも気さくな方ばかりで、英語が話せない私達でもかなり楽しめました！
帰りのバスの中にスマホを忘れてしまい、連絡したところ、すぐに戻ってきて頂けて助かりました。ありがとうございました。

The weather was clear! I was picked up near the hotel and took a bus to the location. The crew members were very kind and there were many happy people, which made it enjoyable! The lunch on the water was amazing!!! The sandbar we aimed for was breathtakingly beautiful. It was about thigh-deep, but that was no problem! We also saw many sea turtles before heading out to snorkel. It became a wonderful memory!!

This was a GREAT sunset cruise - food was good, drinks were good (and they did not even make you give in your drink tickets so not trying to get more out of you) and the show was good.

Just one thing to improve upon:
1. Seating took way too long. You know who is coming so you should have assigned seating and it should be really quick - not making people stand in stairwell for 20 minutes just to get seated

I had a great time paddleboarding at Kailua Beach. The waves were relatively calm, so even though it was my first time in the ocean, I managed pretty well. However, it was a bit challenging to carry my own equipment from the office to the beach. It was surprisingly heavy. I was satisfied because I could spend my time as I liked!

This is our third time participating as a senior couple. The sea can be quite challenging with the wind, so we decided to paddle leisurely in the calm canals where there are no waves or wind. While enjoying the views of golf courses and vacation homes, we were occasionally greeted by dogs, and we made a round trip to the lake (pond) in two hours. It was a fulfilling time.
Note: When paddling, your lower legs can get quite sunburned, so be sure to take thorough sun protection measures!

I thought it would be easy, but in reality, it was quite difficult to master the technique of standing and paddling—laughs. However, sitting down makes it easy even for beginners. My husband seemed to have good balance and, although he was a beginner, he was smoothly paddling while standing.

We paddled to a small island, and it was definitely worth the effort!!! It was so beautiful!! I took a lot of photos and was very satisfied☆ The instructor, Mieko, gave precise explanations!! All the other staff members were also wonderful and made it very enjoyable to play. We were able to bike to the nearby Lanikai Beach, the food was delicious, and we had a great time from start to finish!! Thank you very much♪

簡単に出来そうと思っていましたが実際はコツがなかなか掴めず立って漕ぐのは難しかった～笑　座ってなら初心者の人でも簡単に出来ます。旦那さんはバランス感覚が良いみたいで初心者だけど立ってスイスイ漕いでいました。
小さな島まで漕ぎましたが頑張っていく価値はあります!!!とにかくキレイ!!沢山写真を撮ってもらい大満足☆インストラクターのミエコさんの説明は的確です!!他のスタッフの方も全員対応がすばらしく良くとっても気持ちよく遊べました。隣のラニカイビーチにも自転車で行けたし、ご飯もおいしかったし、何から何までとことん楽しめました!!ありがとうございました♪
