The contrast between the "whiteness" of the shallow areas with coral sand and the "blueness" of the deep sea is very beautiful and amazing. It was also my first snorkeling experience, and I had a lot of fun.

サンゴの砂で浅瀬になっている部分の「白さ」と深い海となっている所の「碧さ」のコントラストがとても綺麗で、最高です。
シュノーケリング体験も初めてでしたが、楽しかったです。

You can be separated into groups of Japanese and non-Japanese participants! So, while the Japanese side was a bit crowded, I think everyone had their own seats and could relax except when gathering for explanations.

First, we went to the sandbar for snorkeling practice! It was incredibly beautiful! Don't worry, there’s plenty of time for taking photos and playing ☻ Just keep in mind that depending on the time, the water can come up to your waist, so I think it's best to check in advance before participating!

After that, we moved on, and during that time, they grilled meat for our hamburger lunch! It was so delicious that I finished it in no time! You can drink beverages for free whenever you want! Only the alcohol is settled afterward!

Then we went turtle watching, and finally, we had more snorkeling! There was plenty of time for that too! They provide lifeguards, fins, and snorkeling masks, so you don’t need to prepare anything!

However, it was quite windy and cold during the move, so a jacket is essential! There are no towels provided, so make sure to bring one! But I think it will dry quickly because of the strong wind!

The meeting place is in front of the green hut at the back! Since I wasn't exactly on time, there's no need to rush if you arrive a bit late for the gathering time (laughs).

I had so much fun that I want to participate again!

日本人と、それ以外の方でボートを分けられます！なので日本人側は若干混んでいましたが説明で上に集まる時以外は皆さん各自席がありゆっくりできたと思います。

まずは、サンドバーに行ってシュノーケリングの練習！すごく綺麗でした！写真を撮る時間も遊ぶ時間もたくさんあるので安心してください☻ただ時間によっては海が腰あたりまで来るのであらかじめ自分で調べて参加するのがいいかと思います！

その後移動して、その間に焼いてくれたお肉でハンバーガーランチ！これがすごーく美味しくてあっという間に食べちゃいました！
飲み物も飲みたい時にタダで飲めます！お酒だけ事後精算です！

その後ウミガメウォッチングをして、最後はシュノーケリング！こちらも時間はたくさんありました！ライフガード、フィン、シュノーケリングのマスク等すべて貸してくださるので用意は不要です！

ただ、移動中は風が強くて寒いので上着は必須です！タオルも貸し出しはないのでどちらかを持ってくれば！でも、風が強くて乾くので大丈夫だとも思います！

集合場所は奥の方にあるの緑の小屋の前です！時間ぴったりではなかったので、集合時間に来なくても焦らなくて大丈夫です（笑）

また参加したいと思うほど楽しかったです！

We chose the best day during our stay, but honestly, the sandbar wasn't as shallow as we expected. However, fortunately, the weather was great, and we got to see truly wonderful views, so I am very satisfied.
When selecting a tour, it seems that encountering a shallower sandbar depends on the tour duration and the timing of low tide.
It was fun.

私達は、滞在期間の中で一番良い条件の日を選びましたが、正直期待していたほどサンドバーは浅くなかったです。でも幸運なことに天候に恵まれて本当に素晴らしい景色が見られたので、私は大満足です。
ツアーを選ぶにあたって、より浅いサンドバーに出会えるのは、ツアー時間と、浅い干潮時の時刻が近いことだそうです。
楽しかったです。

I chose the day with the best conditions during my stay, as it was the closest to low tide time. Luckily, it was sunny, and I was able to see a beautiful, clear ocean.

On the day we participated, there were a lot of people, and two boats went out together. After arriving at the sandbar, we split into those who wanted to relax and those who wanted to snorkel. The snorkeling felt like everyone was swimming in a line in the same spot, so depending on the number of participants, it might feel a bit lacking for those who want to swim while observing slowly. However, I enjoyed it overall because I got to see beautiful scenery.

干潮の浅い日が狙い目ということで、干潮時間がツアー時間に一番近い、滞在中で一番条件が良い日を選びました。ラッキーなことに、晴天で、綺麗で透き通った海を見ることができました。

私たちが参加した日は人数が大変多くて、２台のボートが一緒に出ました。サンドバーに到着した後、ゆっくり過ごしたい人、シュノーケルをしたい人で分かれます。シュノーケリングは、みんなで一斉に同じ場所を一列で泳いでいく感じだったので、参加人数にもよりますが、ゆっくり観察しながら泳ぎたい人には物足りなく感じるかもしれません。キレイな景色が見れたので、全体的に私はとっても楽しめました。

I had a reservation, but I was seated close to the entrance as soon as I walked in. I thought the seats were better when I came without a reservation before.

The food is average. However, since the prices for individual dishes are high, I think the course is a better deal.

The couple next to me only had the main pasta and left.

The service was neither good nor bad; it was just average.

予約していたけど、入ってすぐの入り口に近い席でした。
以前予約なしで来たときの方がいい席だったなと思いました。

料理は普通ですね。
ただ、単品価格が高いのでコースの方がお得だと思います。

隣のカップルはメインのパスタのみで帰っていました。

サービスは可もなく不可もないといった感じで普通です。

My wife, grandmother, and our children aged 4 and 6 participated. The scenery was wonderful, and the teacher was very cheerful. It seems like it became a great memory.

4歳と6歳の子供と妻と祖母が参加しました。景色が素晴らしく、先生もとてもあかるい。
良い思い出になったみたいです。

Since it was a VIP course, we started in a lounge-like area with Mai Tais and self-service snacks (such as prosciutto with pineapple, fruit skewers with melon, macadamia nuts, and potato chips). After that, we moved to our dining seats and enjoyed a course meal. We had informed Veltra in advance that we were bringing our one-year-old daughter, so a seat for her was also prepared.

During the meal, our daughter was able to participate in a treasure hunt game, which made her happy as she could walk around the venue (sitting still for the entire meal would have been boring for a one-year-old).

After the meal, the show began. With the VIP course, we could watch the show from our dining seats (on the first floor) while continuing to enjoy our drinks. For the regular course, it seemed that guests finished their meals outside the venue before entering the second-floor seating.

The show started with hula dancing, followed by an Elvis Presley impersonation show, a Michael Jackson impersonation show, and finally, fire dancing and hula dancing. All of it was wonderful, and we had a great time. I'm not sure if the quality of the Michael impersonation was high, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Last year, we watched a hula dance show at the Polynesian Cultural Center, which was a more traditional show that showcased Hawaiian culture without any sexy costumes (and that was good in its own way). In contrast, this show was a complete entertainment show with sexy and beautiful hula costumes, and it also allowed for a lively rock atmosphere, making us feel like we were in America! While I didn't know many of the songs, I still had a lot of fun.

Since there is a rock segment, the time for hula dancing isn't very long, so if you want to focus solely on hula dancing, I would recommend other shows. However, if you want to enjoy both American-style music and hula dancing, this show is highly recommended. The location is also at the Royal Hawaiian Center, so for those staying in Waikiki, it's within walking distance, which is a great point for efficient use of time.

VIPコースでしたので、初めにラウンジのようなところでマイタイとセルフサービスのおつまみ（生ハムパイナップル、メロン等の果物串、マカデミアナッツ、ポテトチップス）をいただきました。
それから、各自食事の席まで移動し、コース料理をいただきました。
我が家は1歳の娘連れであることをベルトラさんを通して事前に伝えていたため、娘の席も用意していただいていました。
食事の間に娘は宝探しゲームに参加させていただき、会場を歩くことができて喜んでいました。（1歳の娘にとって食事中ずっとイスに座っているのは退屈なので）

食事が終わると、ショーが始まります。
VIPコースは食事の席（1階席）でそのまま観覧するため、引き続き飲み物を飲みながら見ました。
普通のコースだと、会場の外で食事を終えてから2階席に入場していたようです。

ショーはフラダンスから始まり、エルビスプレスリーの（ものまね）ショー、マイケルジャクソンの（ものまね）ショー、最後にファイヤーダンスとフラダンスという感じで進みました。
どれもとても素敵で、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
マイケルのものまねのクオリティーが高かったのかどうかは謎ですが（笑）、楽しめたのでありだと思います。

昨年はポリネシア・カルチャーセンターのフラダンスショーを見ましたが、そちらは、セクシーな衣装などはなしでハワイの文化をしっかり見せる正統派なショーという感じでした。（それはそれでよかったです）
それに対してこちらは完全なエンターテイメントショーで、フラダンスの衣装もセクシーで素敵で、同時に、ロックで盛り上がることもでき、「アメリカにきたって気がする！（笑）」という気分を味わうことができました。
知っている曲は多くありませんでしたが、それでもとても楽しめました。

ロックの時間がある分、フラダンスの時間は長くありませんので、フラダンスだけをじっくり見たい方は他のショーをお勧めしますが、アメリカっぽい音楽もフラダンスも両方楽しみたい方にはお勧めです。
場所もロイヤルハワイアンセンターなので、ワイキキに宿泊している方は徒歩で行けますので、時間が効率的に使えるのも良い点ではないでしょうか。

I chose this tour based on checking the tide and finding a good location at a reasonable time. I saw plenty of sea turtles, but I would have been a bit more satisfied if we had gone to the sandbar before the tide rose. The water level was rising quickly, and by the time we left, it had become quite deep. During snorkeling, I could see the fish well, but there were so many people that it felt like a hot spring. I ended up seeing more people's feet than fish. Overall, the weather was nice, and I saw what I expected, so it was as anticipated. It has a cliché feel, but it seems to be a must-do tour.

潮位を調べて、かつ、できるだけましな時間で場所も良い、という観点からこのツアーを選びました。ウミガメはたくさん見れましたが、先に潮位が高くなる前にサンドバーへ行ってくれると、もう少し満足できたような。みるみる水位が上がってきて、帰るころにはかなり深くなっていました。シュノーケリングでは魚がしっかり見れましたが、あまりにも人が多くて、温泉状態。魚より人の足の方をたくさん見た、という感じです。一応、天気も良く、見るもの見たので、予想どおりというところでしょうか。ベタなところですが外せないツアーなのかな、という印象です。

It was a fun stage not just for dining and watching the show, but also featuring interactive events! There was a practice time for hula dancing, a contest where randomly selected guests were invited on stage to blow a conch shell (or something like that?), and opportunities to dance with the performers—there was so much going on. The hula dancers showcased various patterns of dance. The English MC was explaining things, but it was a bit fast and hard to understand... Still, I enjoyed it thoroughly. The fire dance was amazing!

The meal had a Hawaiian flair, and it was nice that it wasn't overly extravagant. The fish dish was the most delicious.

ただ食事をしてショーを見るだけでなく、参加型イベントもある楽しいステージでした！
フラダンスの練習タイムがあったり、お客さんの中からランダムにステージに上げられて、ホラ貝（のようなもの？）を吹くコンテストがあったり、ダンサーと一緒に踊ったり、盛りだくさんです。
フラダンスは様々なパターンのダンスを見せてくれます。
英語のMCで説明していたようですが、早口でよくわからず、、、
それでも十分楽しめました。
ファイヤーダンスは最高でしたね！

お食事はハワイらしい内容で、豪華すぎなくて良かったです。
お魚料理が一番美味しかったです。

It seems that the phases of the moon and the tides are related. Rather than a sandbar, it was a beautiful sea that came up to my waist. The water was very clear, and I encountered many sea turtles on the way to the sandbar.

At first, when I entered the water, I thought, "It's cold!" but I got used to it after a while. Also, for all the smokers out there! Smoking is prohibited on the boat, but you can smoke in the water! I think having a smoke while standing in the waist-deep water is exceptional, so I recommend bringing your cigarettes!

As for snorkeling, the mask was covered in fine scratches and didn't have anti-fog treatment, so it fogged up quickly after just 2-3 minutes. Additionally, since we were swimming in a group next to the coral, the water became murky and it was hard to see, causing the fish to flee. There were many people who weren't used to it, so it inevitably became a bit crowded.

Participation in snorkeling seems to be optional, so it might be more meaningful to play around the boat. If you're mainly looking to snorkel and seeking the sandbar mentioned in guidebooks, I wouldn't particularly recommend it.

The staff from the tour company were cheerful, friendly, and kind, which was very nice. The sandwiches for lunch were also delicious.

最初、海に入ったときは「冷たい！」と思いますが、入っているうちに慣れていく感じ
あとは愛煙家の皆さん！！
船の中では禁煙ですが、海の中では喫煙できますよ！！
腰の高さまである海の中での一服は格別だと思われますので、愛煙家の皆さんはお煙草持って行くのをオススメします！！

シュノーケルは、マスクが細かい傷だらけなのと、曇り止めをしていないので2～3分付けていたらすぐ曇ってしまいます
あと、やはり団体で珊瑚の横を泳ぐので、水が濁って見えづらくなる＆魚が逃げます
慣れてない人もたくさんいらっしゃるので、どうしても芋洗い状態になってしまうのだと思います

シュノーケルの参加は自由みたいなので、船のまわりでシャパシャパ遊んでる方が有意義かもしれません
シュノーケルをメインに考えている＆ガイドブックに載ってるサンドバーを求めている方には、あまりオススメはしません

催行会社の方々は、陽気で気さく、優しい方が多いのでそこはとても良かったです
お昼のサンドイッチも美味しかった

By chance, all the tour participants were Japanese, so we had a guide in Japanese. During the drive from Waikiki to Manoa, we had a great time with bright self-introductions and learning about popular local shops in Hawaii.

Due to my age, I was worried about not being able to keep up with the others, but the guide made sure to stop at key points and kept the pace slow, which I really appreciated.

The explanations about the plants were detailed and interesting. If I had been hiking alone, I think I would have missed noticing the fruits high up in the trees and the differences between invasive and native plants.

The waterfall at the destination was magnificent. Although there were people who entered the water despite the restrictions due to infection risks, I understand their feelings (laughs).

I'm really glad I had such a fun time. Thank you, guides Toshi and Yuna!

偶然、ツアー参加者が全員日本人でしたので、日本語でガイドしてもらいました。
ワイキキからマノアに向かう車の中から、明るく自己紹介をしてもらったり、ハワイの現地の人たちに人気のお店を教えてもらったりと、楽しく過ごせました。
私は年齢もあって早く歩けないので、周りの方々の足を引っ張らないか不安でしたが、ガイドさんが要所要所立ち止まって、ペースをゆっくりに保ってもらえました。本当にありがたかったです。
植物の説明も詳しくて面白かったです。個人で登っていたら、高い木の上に果物が生っていることや、外来種と原産種の植物の違いに、気付かないで通り過ぎていたと思います。
ゴール地点の滝は見事なものでした。感染症の危険があるので入水制限されているのに滝壺に入ってしまっている人たちがいましたが、気持ちはわかります(笑)。
本当に楽しい時間を過ごせて良かったです。ガイドのトシさん、ユナさん、ありがとうございました。

We were blessed with beautiful sunny weather, enjoyed practicing snorkeling and playing volleyball in the shallow waters, and savored freshly grilled beef hamburgers on the boat. After that, we had a great time watching sea turtles and experiencing authentic snorkeling. It was fun to be surrounded by many tropical fish while also getting to see sea turtles!

晴天の天気に恵まれ、海の中に出来た浅瀬でシュノーケリングの練習とバレーボールを楽しみ、船上で焼きたてビーフハンバーガーを堪能した後は、ウミガメウォッチと本格シュノーケリングを楽しみました。シュノーケリングでは多くの熱帯魚に囲まれながら、ウミガメを見る事も出来て楽しかったです！

The clear sea sparkled beautifully under the bright sun, and the sandbar was lovely. Personally, I think it's worth experiencing at least once. For us, the short course was sufficient. It would have been even better if we could meet on-site. The bus was cold, and it can get chilly if the weather changes, so I recommend bringing a hoodie or something to wear. It might be better to enjoy it with a small group charter.

よく晴れていたので澄んだ海がキラキラ光ってサンドバーは綺麗でした。個人的にいけないので１度は体験しても良いかと思います。我々としてはショートコースで十分でした。現地集合できればもっと良かったですが。バスの中が寒かったり、天候が変わると寒いのでフーディなど羽織りものを持って行ったほうがいいと思います。
少人数チャーターで楽しむ方がいいかもしれません。

There were a total of 12 participants, including the two of us, and with the two guides, the total was 14 people. It was quite a large group.

During the drive, our guides, Yuna and Toshi, shared recommendations for restaurants and sweets, as well as some fun facts about Hawaii, which made the trip very enjoyable.

After arriving at the parking lot and using the restroom at the shop, we received water and ponchos. I had prepared my own water and poncho since they weren't mentioned in the tour details, but they turned out to be unnecessary.

After a group photo at the entrance, Toshi explained the precautions, and we started the trail. As we progressed, we received explanations about the plants along the course, making it more enjoyable than just trekking.

Also, during the trek, there were photo opportunities where they would take pictures for us, which made for great memories. We reached the waterfall in about 40 minutes, but the return trip was a bit slippery, so caution is advised.

On the way back, we also received explanations about the plants and had photos taken. Fortunately, it didn't rain that day, so our shoes and clothes didn't get too dirty, but some participants had muddy pant hems, so those who are concerned might want to bring a change of clothes.

For lunch, since the restaurant was crowded, we ate in the park. (If the restaurant is not busy, it seems you can eat inside.) The bento had a variety of small side dishes, which was nice. The colors were vibrant and visually appealing. The taste was, of course, good.

After eating and taking a short break, we were taken back to our hotel, and the tour concluded. The pace was adjusted to accommodate the slower participants, so I felt it was relatively easy for anyone to join. While Hawaii is often associated with the ocean, trekking in the mountains is also great!

当日の参加者は私たち二人を含め合計１２名、ガイドさん２人の総勢１４名です。なかなかの大所帯。
向かう車の中では、ガイドのユナさんとトシさんがお勧めの飲食店やスイーツなどを教えてくださったり、ハワイのプチ情報を教えてくださってとても楽しかったです。
駐車場に着き、売店でトイレを済ませませた後、お水やポンチョなどを頂きました。ツアー詳細にお水、ポンチョの記載がなかったので自分で用意していましたが、必要ありませんでした。
入口で参加者全員で記念撮影のあと、ガイドのトシさんから注意事項の説明があり、トレイルスタートです。
コース途中に生えている植物の説明を受けながら進むので、単純にトレッキングするよりも愉しかったです。
またトレッキング途中も、撮影ポイントが来ると写真を撮って下さるので良い記念になりますよ。
滝までは４０分くらいで到着、行よりも帰りのほうが滑りやすいのでちょっと注意が必要かもしれません。
帰りも行きと同様に植物の説明を受けたり、写真を撮っていただきながら帰りました。
当日、雨が降らなかったこともあり、私たちはそんなに靴や服が汚れることはありませんでしたが、中にはズボンの裾がドロドロになっている方もいらっしゃったので、気にされる方は着替えをお持ちになると良いと思います。
ランチですが、お店が混んでいたので、公園で頂きました。（お店が空いていれば店内で戴けるそうです）
お弁当はちょっとずつ色んなおかずが入っているのが良いですね。色も鮮やかで見た目にも楽しめます。お味はもちろん良かったですよ。
食事をして、ちょっと休憩したのち、ピックアップしたホテルに送って下さりツアー終了しました。
遅い方にペースを合わせて進むので、比較的どんな方でも参加されやすいと感じました。ハワイといえば海のイメージですが、山でトレイルするのも良いですよ～！

I joined this tour because I wanted to see sea turtles and the reviews were good. I was picked up right near my hotel and taken to the port. After a short boat ride, we arrived at a sandbar! The view was amazing, and we played beach volleyball and ate hamburgers. Just when I thought it was over, we went sea turtle watching, then moved on to snorkeling. It was a highly satisfying optional tour!

ウミガメをみたくて口コミもよかったので参加しました。
ホテルのすぐ近くにでピックアップしてもらい港へ。船で少し進むとサンドバーが！
最高の景色でビーチバレーしてハンバーガー食べてもう終わりだっけ？と思ったらそのあとウミガメウオッチングしてさらに移動してシュノーケリングして満足度の高いオプショナルツアーでした！

It was great to see sea turtles and fish. However, it was disappointing that the sandbar was only about waist-deep in the water. The ocean, the scenery, and the instructors were all fantastic.

ウミガメ、魚も見れて良かったです。ただサンドバーが腰くらいまで海だったのが残念。海も景観もインストラクターの方々も最高だった。

I watched from the second floor with a simple ticket without a meal. As expected from a professional. Both Michael and Presley had high quality performances. The show ended in the blink of an eye.

食事なしのシンプルなチケットで2階席で見ました。さすがプロですね。マイケルもプレスリーも、クオリティ高いです。あっという間にショーが終わっちゃいました。

We arrived around 11 AM, just in time for low tide. Although the water level was up to my knees, the clear surface of the sea was truly beautiful. After a light session of beach volleyball and snorkeling instruction, lunch time came quickly. The hamburger looked light, accompanied by a side of beans flavored with barbecue sauce, but the beef patty was thick and satisfying. Aside from the paid beer, drinks like coffee, tea, cocoa, green tea, and juices were all-you-can-drink.

During that time, we arrived at the snorkeling spot by the coral reef and quickly jumped into the sea… I enjoyed the colorful fish swaying with the waves. A few people seemed to have been stung by jellyfish, but they received immediate care. It seems that if you're lucky, you might encounter a honu (sea turtle), but we missed the timing this time.

After snorkeling, the boat moved to the honu's swimming route, and we were able to see about ten honu swimming around the boat. The honu only come close to the surface when they need to breathe, so even if you spot them, they quickly dive back down.

The tour ended here, but our Japanese tour guide was a cheerful and lively woman, which was great. Despite some waves and wind left over from the hurricane, it was a memorable experience. I would like to go again, and next time, I want to aim for a day with a stronger low tide.

当日の干潮１１時のところ１１時頃の到着。
膝くらいまで水位はあったものの透き通った海面はほんとに綺麗でした。
軽くビーチバレーやシュノーケリング指導のあとあっという間にランチタイム。
ハンバーガー１個とサイドにバーベキューソース味の煮豆という見た目軽そうなのですが、ビーフパテが厚く食べごたえあります。
飲み物も有料のビール以外、コーヒー・紅茶・ココア・緑茶・ジュース類が飲み放題です。
その間に珊瑚礁のシュノーケリングスポットに到着し早速海へ…
色とりどりの魚を波に揺られ堪能しました。
ただ数名がくらげに刺されたようですが、直ぐに手当をしてくれていました。
運が良いとホヌに遭遇できるらしいのですが、今回はタイミングがあいませんでした。
シュノーケリングタイムが終わるとホヌの遊泳経路？へ船は移動し船の左右前後で１０頭くらいの遊泳してるホヌを見ることができました。
ホヌは息継ぎの時だけ海面近くに上がるので、見つけても直ぐに潜ってしまいます。
これでツアーは終わりですが、日本人のツアーガイドさんは陽気でキビキビした女性でよいかたでした。
ハリケーンの去った影響でやや波風があったものの思い出に残る体験でした。
また、行きたいと思います。そのときは今回よりも潮が強く引く日を狙いたいと思います。

Rock and hula. I couldn't imagine what kind of show it would be as I checked in. I was guided to a tent next to the reception where they offered a welcome drink, and I was asked if I wanted a Mai Tai cocktail or a non-alcoholic version. During and before the meal, dancers from the main show entertained us with singing and dancing. The food was delicious, and the whole roasted pig was exquisite. You can order drink refills from your seat and pay on the spot. The show itself was of high quality, allowing you to enjoy hula, rock, Polynesian, and pop music. I think it's a show you definitely should see.

ロックとフラ。どんなショーになるのか想像もつかないまま受付。
受付横のテントに案内されてウェルカムドリンクのマイタイはカクテルとノンアルコールを聞いてくれる。食事の前や食事中も、本編に出演しているダンサーが歌や躍りで盛り上げてくれる。食事も美味しく、豚の丸焼きは絶品でした。ドリンクのおかわりは座席で注文し、その場で支払いです。
ショーも完成度が高く、フラ、ロック、ポリネシアン、ポップスすべて堪能できます。是非見てほしいショーだと思います。

This time, I participated with my 2-year-old daughter. The show had a variety of content, including hula and fire dancing, all set against the backdrop of Hawaii's historical flow, and even Michael. We were completely captivated and enjoyed it without getting bored. My daughter was also sparkling with excitement.
I would love to see it again.

今回、２歳の娘も一緒に参加させて頂きました。ショーの内容も様々でハワイの歴史的な流れを背景にフラやファイヤーダンス、そしてマイケルまで、全く飽きることなく楽しむことが出来ました。娘も目を輝かせて楽しんでいました。
また、見たいです。

Our driver was amazing.
She was so knowledgeable and interesting.
We missed the Dole Plantation due to an accident but otherwise had a great day!!

● We had a "four-course dinner" that started at 6:30, but we arrived a bit early and saw a dance demonstration right in front of the entrance. After that, we finally entered through the VIP entrance. First, we had a photo session with a professional photographer alongside Michael (they come around during the meal to sell the photos, but of course, it's up to you whether to buy them or not).

As soon as we entered, we enjoyed a Mai Tai (you can choose between non-alcoholic or alcoholic) in a lovely room with a counter bar, and we helped ourselves to Hawaiian potato chip trio, prosciutto with pineapple, fresh fruit, and macadamia nuts from the bar table. There were sofas along the wall, so we sat down to enjoy.

After having as much as we liked, we finally moved to the hall with the stage. Seats were assigned in the order of entry. If you want a seat right in the center of the stage, it might be best to enter around the 20th person.

By the time we entered, the first dish of lobster with rainbow salad was already on the table. They came to take our order for premium drinks, so I ordered a Blue Hawaii and a Strawberry Daiquiri. There was a shell cracker provided, so I used it to crack the lobster claws and dig out the meat.

Once we finished that, the next dish arrived with tenderloin, grilled salmon, and mashed potatoes with black truffle all on one plate.

Finally, we ended with dessert: fresh pineapple and gelato, along with coffee or tea. Everything was delicious, and we finished it all without leaving anything behind. Around that time, the guests in the second-floor seats without meals started to enter, and the show began.

Historical footage of Hawaii from around the 1920s was shown in the background, accompanied by songs and dance performances from that era. The costumes changed according to the music, featuring Hawaiian hula and Polynesian styles.

Then, when we reached the 1960s, Elvis made his appearance!!! He even came down to the audience and gave us, sitting in the premium seats, leis and a kiss service.

Next, a local female singer took the stage! She was tall, had a great figure, and sang beautifully.

As we moved into the 1990s, Michael finally appeared!!! The real footage played in the background, and his costume matched perfectly with that time. Both Elvis and Michael were amazing at singing and dancing!!!

I was so captivated that time flew by in an instant. When we exited, we passed by booths displaying photos and costumes of rock stars, and at the very end, I was able to take a two-shot with Michael, Elvis, and the hula dancers using my smartphone.

It was a wonderful plan that allowed us to enjoy three times the fun in one experience! *ヽ(^o^)/*

●私達は｢４コースディナー｣、６時半開始との事でしたが、少し早めに行くと、入り口前ですでにダンスのデモンストレーション。
それが終わると、いよいよVIP入口から入場。まずは、マイケルと共にプロの方による写真撮影。(これは食事中、販売にきます。もちろん買う買わないは自由)

そして、入ってすぐの素敵なカウンターバーのある部屋で、マイタイ(ノンアルかアルコール選びます)を頂き、バーテーブル上のハワイアンポテトチップストリオ･プロシュートパイナップル･フレッシュフルーツ･マカデミアナッツの４点をセルフで取ります。壁に沿ってソファがあるので、座って頂きました。

好きなだけ頂いたら、いよいよ舞台のあるホールへ。入った順に席が与えられます。舞台ど真ん中が良ければ２０人目くらいに入場するのがいいかも。

すでに、１皿目のロブスター～レインボーサラダ添えがテーブルに置かれています。プレミアムドリンクのオーダーを聞きにくるので、ブルーハワイとストロベリーダイキリをオーダー。殻割りが置かれてるので、ロブスターの手の部分はそれで割って身をほじほじ。

それを食べ終えると、次のテンダーロインとサーモングリル、黒トリュフ入りのマッシュポテトなどが一皿で。

最後にデザートの生パインとジェラート、コーヒーか紅茶で終わりです。
全部お味もよく残さず頂きました。
そしてその頃、２階席の食事無しの方々の入場し、ショーの始まり。

１９２０年ごろからのハワイの歴史映像がバックに映され、その時代ごとの曲に合わせての曲やダンスショー。
ハワイヤン・フラ・ポリネシアン風など衣装も曲ごとにチェンジ。

そして、６０年代になるとプレスリーの登場!!!客席にも降りて来られて、前方のプレミアム席の私達にはレイをかけてKISSのサービスも。

次に、地元のシンガーの女性が登場！この方背が高くスタイル抜群で歌も上手いのです。

そして９０年代になると、いよいよマイケルが!!!
すべてバックに本物の映像が流れますが、衣装もその当時とぴったり合わせていて、プレスリーもマイケルもこれまた歌も踊りも上手い~！！！

見入ってしまうので、あっという間に時間が過ぎました。
退場の時には、ロックスターの写真や衣装展示のブースも通り、最後の最後には、マイケルやエルビス、フラダンサーの方々と、自分のスマホでツーショット撮る事も出来ました。

What a great night to finish off our trip to Waikiki, the show was very entertaining showcasing various cultures from the South Pacific and the food was great, a good mix of traditional and exotic, compere for the evening was excellent.

Loved it. Luau Buffett Dinner excellent. Cast members made it so much fun. Cocktails spot on.

I was satisfied with the cruise.
However, it was disappointing that there was no place to change.

The girls changed outside and seemed anxious about being seen.

The boys didn't mind and just got on the bus as they were. It was too cold because the air conditioning was too strong.

クルーズも出来て満足でした。
ただ、残念なのは着替え場所がない事。

女子は外で着替えましたが、、見られてるかどうかと不安そうでした、、。

男子は気にしないのでそのままバスに乗り込み。冷房が効きすぎで、寒かったです、、

I participated on August 23 when a typhoon was approaching Oahu. I woke up several times during the night, thinking I might receive an email saying the event would be canceled. However, it was confirmed that the event would go ahead, and I decided to participate, knowing that if I canceled on the day, the nearly 90,000 yen for seven people would not be refunded.

Since the sun wasn't out, the sea wasn't beautiful, and both the water and air temperatures were low, everyone was feeling cold. I also participated in snorkeling, but due to the typhoon's effects, I felt scared as I was almost swept away.

After returning, I contacted a company that specializes in sandbar cruises, and they informed me that the Public Safety Bureau had issued a warning, stating that boats should not go out. They mentioned that other companies likely weren't operating either. They said that just rain wouldn't lead to cancellations, but since a hurricane was approaching, that was the reason for the cancellation. I wonder if it was really a good decision to go ahead with the event.

Given the circumstances, I'm relieved that nothing happened. By the way, I heard that those who canceled on the day received a full refund. I regret participating just to avoid losing the 90,000 yen.

オアフに台風が近づいている8月23日に参加しました。中止に当然なるのではとメールが来るかもしれないと何度も夜中に目が覚めました。しかしながら催行するとのこと、7人分の9万近いお金が当日こちらがキャンセルすれば返ってこないと参加しました。
太陽が出ていないので海も綺麗でなく、水温も気温も低くて皆さん寒がっていました。シュノーケリングにも参加しましたが、台風の影響で流されそうになり怖い思いをしました。
帰ってからサンドバー専門のクルーザーの会社に問い合わせたところ、公安局から危険と指示があったので船は出てはいけないということで他の催行会社も全て出ていないだろう、ただの雨ではキャンセルにならないけどハリケーンが近づいていたからいう回答を得ました。催行して良かったのでしょうか。
そんな中でしたので何事もなくてよかったと思います。ちなみに当日キャンセルの方には全額返金したそうです。9万を惜しんで参加しなければ良かったです。

I participated in this show two years ago, and this time I decided to repeat the experience. Last time, I only attended the show, but this time I splurged on the VIP package. The show starts at 8 PM, but VIP guests are allowed to enter early at 6:15 PM and are guided to great seats by the stage.

Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for the food, but it pleasantly surprised me. The appetizer was lobster and salad, the main course was a combination of tenderloin steak and salmon steak, and the dessert was a generous serving of pineapple and sorbet. Everything was delicious and plentiful. I think it would be great even as a regular restaurant.

Now, regarding the show itself, it exceeded my expectations! It was quite different from what I saw two years ago, and it was clear that they took care to cater to repeat visitors. Last time, the stage mainly featured Elvis, Michael (who seem to be permanent cast members), and Madonna, but this time it featured Elvis, Michael, and Whitney. The song selections for the two permanent cast members were quite different, allowing for a fresh experience.

Overall, the stage skillfully blended Hawaiian culture, surpassing the realm of a mere impersonation show. Traditional performances like hula and fire dancing were of extremely high quality, and for those who can't make it to the Polynesian Cultural Center, this show is more than sufficient.

Additionally, as I felt two years ago, the staff were incredibly friendly and kind.

In summary, this is a fantastic show that I can recommend from all angles. You can truly enjoy the essence of Hawaii, and I highly recommend repeating the experience every time you visit Hawaii. I definitely want to see it again on my next trip!

一昨年も参加したこのショー。今回もリピートしてみました。
前回はショーのみでしたが、今回は奮発してＶＩＰコースです。ショーの開始は20時からですが、ＶＩＰコースの人たちは6時15分に先行入場開始で、ステージサイドのいい席に案内してもらえます。
正直、お料理はあまり期待してなかったのですが、これがいい意味で期待を裏切られました。前菜はロブスターとサラダ、メインはテンダーロインステーキとサーモンのステーキの盛り合わせ、デザートは大盛りのパイナップルとシャーベットだったのですが、どれも十分においしく、量もたっぷりでした。普通のレストランとしてもいいセンいってると思います。
そして、肝心のショーですが、これもまた期待以上！２年前に見た内容とはかなり違い、リピーターにも十分に配慮していることがよく分かりました。前回はエルビスとマイケルと（この２人は不動のキャストのようです）マドンナの３人を主にフィーチャーしたステージでしたが、今回はエルビス・マイケル・ホイットニーの３人のフィーチャーで、不動の２人のキャストの選曲も結構違ってて、新鮮な気持ちで楽しむことができました。
全体的に、ステージはハワイの文化を上手に融合させたもので、単なるモノマネショーの域を超えるものでした。フラやファイヤーダンスといった伝統的なショーも極めてレベルが高く、ポリネシア文化センターに行く時間がとれない方はここのショーでも間に合ってしまうくらいの出来です。
また、２年前にも感じたのですが、スタッフの人たちがすごくフレンドリーで親切です。
以上、全方位からおすすめできる素晴らしいショーです。きちんとハワイらしさも満喫できますし、ハワイに来るたびにリピートするのもおすすめです。私も次回の渡ハの際は絶対また観たいと思います（＾＾）！

Heavenly Ocean was amazing! It was my first time participating on my 10th trip to Hawaii! I always thought about going, but I hesitated because it seemed boring if the sandbar wasn't out. Finally, I decided to give it a try! I wish I had gone from the start! In the end, the sandbar wasn't out, but the ocean was incredibly beautiful, something I had never seen before... it was wonderful.

To get to Heavenly Ocean, we drove about an hour from Waikiki along mountain roads. Since I tend to get motion sickness in cars and boats, I took some anti-nausea medication before going, so I was totally fine. After that, we boarded the boat to Heavenly Ocean... Within 30 minutes, we could see the sandbar, and there was clearly a different zone with a distinct color and feel to the water!

At Heavenly Ocean, there was about waist-deep water, possibly due to the hurricane that had come the day before, but it was incredibly beautiful and enjoyable! We practiced snorkeling, played beach volleyball, and had fun with a diverse group of people. Couples were taught how to take lovely photos, and they took many beautiful pictures. We were just so impressed by the stunning ocean!

I've been to various oceans before, but I truly felt that it lived up to its name, Heavenly Ocean! While we were playing, the crew grilled meat on a barbecue. I had some concerns about the quality of the meat since it was labeled BBQ, but what we got was a hamburger! We made our own sandwiches with the meat, cheese, and vegetables... there were also beans and chips, and it was delicious.

After that, we went to a spot where we could see turtles. It was very close by, and the sea turtles popped their heads up! Then, we went snorkeling around the coral reef!!! There were colorful fish all around the coral. I was able to see even more colorful fish than when I went diving in Hawaii, and since it was snorkeling, it was easy to participate, which was great!

The Japanese guide was very friendly and kind to everyone, which was really nice!

Actually, I had booked this tour on the day of the hurricane, and it was scheduled to go until the last minute, but at the last moment, it was canceled, and they helped me rebook. Since it's an American company, I guess there are cancellation fees and various things to consider? I think it's better to hold out until the last minute. I learned that the cancellation was due to the rough sea around the coral reef, which made it impossible to see anything! This means it might have been possible to go, so if there are cancellation fees, it might be worth waiting until the last minute. They said that if it was really impossible, they would contact me to cancel and refund my money.

In any case, I was very satisfied to have participated for the first time! I will definitely join again the next time I come to Hawaii!

天国の海最高でした！10回目のハワイ旅行にして初参加でした！
いつも行ってみたいと思いながら、サンドバーが出てないとつまらなそうと、やめていたけど、ついに行ってみることにしました！
最初から行けば良かった！って思いました！
結果的にサンドバーは出てなかったけど、海が初めて見る綺麗さで、、、素晴らしかったです。
天国の海までは、ワイキキから車で1時間くらい山道を走りました。私は元々車や船に酔いやすいので、酔い止めを飲んで行きました。なので全然平気でした。その後、船に乗って天国の海へ、、、。
船は30分も乗らないうちにサンドバーが見えてきて、そこだけあきらかに色も海の感じも違うゾーンが現れました！
天国の海では、前日にハリケーンが来ていた影響もあったのか、腰くらいまで水がありましたが、めっちゃくちゃ綺麗で楽しめました！
次に待っているシュノーケルの練習をしたり、ビーチバレーをしたり、国際色豊かなメンバーで楽しんだり、カップルはステキな写真の撮り方を教えてもらって、綺麗な写真を沢山撮ってました。
私たちは綺麗な海にひたすら感激！
今まで色んな海に行って来ましたが、やはり天国の海というだけあると実感！
そして、天国の海で私たちが遊んでいる間にクルーがバーベキューグリルでお肉を焼いてくれました。
BBQと書いてあったので、お肉の美味しくないのだったらやだなぁなんて内心思ってたのですが、出来上がったのは、ハンバーガー！
自分でパンにお肉とチーズと野菜を挟んで、、、ビーンズとチップスもあって、美味しくいただきました。
その後は、亀が見えるスポットへ。すぐ近くにあって、ウミガメさんがひょこひょこ顔を出してくれました。
そして、サンゴ礁の周りをシュノーケリング ！！！
サンゴ礁の周りに色とりどりの魚がいました。
ダイビングでハワイの海に潜った時よりも色とりどりの魚が沢山見ることができて、シュノーケルだったので、簡単に参加できて良かったです！
案内の日本人の方もすごくフレンドリーで誰に対しても優しく、とっても良かったです！

実は、このツアーハリケーンの日に予約していて、ギリギリまで催行予定だったのですが、ギリギリにNGが出て、予約を取り直してもらいました。アメリカの会社なので、キャンセル料とか色々あるんでしょうね？ギリギリまで粘った方がいいかと思います。NGになったのは、サンゴ礁のところが海が荒れて何も見えなくなったからとツアーに参加して教えてもらいました！ということは、出来なくもなかったということかと思いますので、キャンセル料がかかるときはギリギリまで粘っていいかと思います。本当に無理だとキャンセルの連絡が来て、お金も返金してくれるとのことでしたから。
いずれにしても、初参加出来て大満足です！
また、次回ハワイに来るときはまた参加させていただきます！

I attended the VIP course with my mother, who loved Presley. While waiting and watching the hula, we were called from the green room for the VIP entrance. As soon as we entered, we took photos with the female performers (they later came around to sell the photos for $25) and received a welcome drink. There were also light snacks of fruit and chips.

Once we were seated, our assigned waiter came to greet us. There was a section on the final survey to write the waiter's name. The meal started with lobster and salad. The lobster was substantial even as a half portion and was delicious.

For the main course, we had steak and salmon. The portions were large for us, and we ended up leaving some behind, but I think it would be fine for men. My mother, who doesn't like meat, requested to change her steak to fish, but she received the same salmon twice. I couldn't complain, but I would have appreciated it if they could have changed the sauce at least. It seems they could also change it to chicken.

The dessert was also very tasty, but I was already full and could only eat half. What a shame. During the meal, I wasn't bothered by the gazes from the second-floor seats. It seemed like they came in around dessert time.

After the meal, we had a little time to go to the restroom before the show. Depending on the table's location, it might take some time for the service, and depending on the speed of the meal, it could be tight.

When the show started, the audience got excited. There were dances to songs from different eras of Hawaii, hula, and a slightly chubby Michael doing the moonwalk. The fire dance was captivating.

As for Presley, it seems he didn't quite meet my mother's expectations, but I enjoyed it enough since I didn't know the real thing. This was my first time at Rock-a-Hula. I participated with a mindset of just trying it out, but I'm glad I went. If the content changes, I would consider participating again.

プレスリーが好きだった母を連れて、VIPコースに参加しました。
フラを見ながら待っていると、グリーンルームVIPの方々から呼ばれていきます。次はVIPの入場。
入るとすぐに出演者の女性との写真撮影(後で席まで売りに来ます。＄25でした)をして、ウェルカムドリンクをいただきました。軽食のフルーツとチップスもありました。
席に着くと担当ウェイターさんが挨拶に来ます。最後のアンケート用紙にウェイターさんの名前を記入する欄もありました。
食事はロブスターとサラダからスタートです。ロブスターは半身でも食べ応えがあり、美味しかったです。
メインはステーキとサーモン。私たちには量が多く、残してしましましたが
男性なら大丈夫だと思います。肉が苦手な母はステーキを魚に変更していただいたのですが、同じサーモンが二つでした。わがままは言えませんが、ソースだけでも変えてもらえたら嬉しかったです。他にチキンにも変更していただけるようです。
デザートもとても美味しかったのですが、すでに満腹で半分しか食べられませんでした。残念。
食事中、二階席からの視線は気になりませんでした。デザートのあたりで入ってきたような・・・。
食後はショーまで少しトイレに行ったりする余裕もありました。
テーブルの位置によってはサーブされるのに時間がかかったり、食事のスピードなどによってはギリギリかもしれません。
そしてショーが始まると、客席も盛り上がります。
ハワイの年代ごとの曲にあわせたダンス、フラ。ちょっとぽっちゃりなマイケルのムーンウォーク。迫力のファイヤーダンスには目が釘付け。
肝心のプレスリーは、母の期待には及ばなかったようですが
実物を知らない私は十分楽しめました。
今回初めてのロック・ア・フラ。試しに行ってみよう、という感じでの参加でしたが、行ってみて良かったです。
内容が変わったりするなら、もう一度参加してもいいと思っています。

Despite the heavy rain and calm sea without wind, we proceeded with the tour as planned. We arrived at the sandbar! Although it was cold and we were shivering, we decided to get into the water, but we couldn't stay in for more than five minutes before getting back on the boat. We ended up eating sandwiches in the leaking cabin. Some people went snorkeling, but they said it was too murky to see anything. Well, that makes sense! It was pointless to even go in.

When we finally thought we could go home, the pickup bus didn't arrive, and we had to wait for an hour in an empty parking lot. It was cold, but at least it didn't rain while we were waiting for the bus, which was a small relief.

In summary, while bad weather might be a matter of luck, I thought it was terrible that the tour continued just for the sake of money despite the conditions. Also, the waiting time for the bus felt like pure torture.

If I go again, I hope it will be when there isn't a hurricane!

との事でサンドバーまで行き到着！
雨と寒さでブルブル震えるなかせっかくなので
海に入りましたが５分と入ってられず船にあがり、雨漏りする船内でサンドイッチを食べました。シュノーケリングに出かけた方もいましたが濁っていて何も見えないと
そりゃ〜そうでしょう‼︎ 入るだけ無駄ですよ
無事に戻りやっと帰れると思ったら
迎えのバスが来ない、何もない駐車場に1時間も待たされました
寒かったけどバスの待ちは雨が降らなかった事が救いでした
感想 天候が悪いのは運なのかもしれませんが こんな状態でお金のためだけにツアーを中止にせず行うのは酷いなぁと思いました
また、バスの待ち時間は地獄そのものでした

次回もし行くならハリケーンが来ていない時にしたいものです
