The day of participation was unfortunately marked by cloudy skies and intermittent rain, but when the sun peeked through for a moment, it was absolutely beautiful! We played beach volleyball, and even though we couldn't communicate with people from other countries, it felt like we connected through sports, making it a really enjoyable time! The hamburger we had for lunch was also incredibly delicious! We were able to see a lot of fish while snorkeling! I think it would be stunning on a sunny day, so I would love to participate again!

ビーチバレーをやりましたが他国の方たちと言葉は通じませんが、スポーツで気持ちが繋がった感じがしてとっても楽しい時間でした！

シュノーケリングもお魚がたくさん見れました！
晴れたら最高にきれいだと思うのでまた参加したいです！

I took my daughter and her family to this Luau and I am so glad we bought the Royal package. It was great. We were right in front and the dancing was great and the Fire dancing was fantastic. I also liked the fact the they involved you in different activities. Food was great also. I liked the fact they will stay and take pictures with you at the end with your own camera. Overall I would definitely recommend this Luau to everyone.

Departure around 7 o'clock and return around 3 o'clock. The tour itself takes about an hour, with one session in the morning and one in the afternoon. There was a lot of waiting time, and it wasn't that impressive. Well, I thought it wouldn't hurt to go at least once!

The staff were very kind, and I had a bright and enjoyable time.

The luau itself was amazing. My family and I enjoyed participating in the pre show activities while learning about true polynesian culture and traditions. It's a smaller luau with only about 200 guests but with the smaller number of patrons you really get to interact and learn from everyone involved.
The host for the activities, Uncle Bob, has a great sense of humor as do the men that do the "cooking" and food prep demonstrations. These men are no joke, they even climbed up the coconut trees. They teach you about a traditional tribe welcoming and uses the guests to act as the tribes while explaining the rituals associated with welcoming guests to their community.
Not a huge selection of foods to sample but everything there was delicious. Kalua pork, teriyaki chicken, macaroni salad, green salad with macadamia nuts, rice, rolls, chantilly cake from Teds Bakery and a coconut type of jello dessert.
The family band that played music during dinner was Amazing. Those kids can really sing! The dancing was very traditional, not just girls in coconut bras and hula skirts, but real polynesian dancing showcasing dances from a variety of the polynesian islands. I was a VIP guest and we were right at eye level with the stage but it looked like most people would have quite a good view of the stage. We also got to go to the buffet first and got great souvenirs. My husband and I got hand fans, my son got a wooden Maui-type hook necklace and my daughter got a wood beaded bracelet that said Hawaii with hibiscus flowers printed on it. After dinner and show on your way out you were able to speak more with the staff and dancers and take pictures with them.
If it was your birthday we all sang happy birthday and you got an extra piece of cake, if it was your anniversary or honeymoon they brought you onstage for a slow dance and gave you a nut lei.
All this plus you get entry into the Waimea valley where you can swim in a waterfall and see beautiful trees and foliage!

The staff were very kind. They proactively offered guidance for snorkeling and took photos at the sandbar. The BBQ hamburger for lunch was incredibly delicious. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The climate is refreshing, so it's not as humid as a beer garden in Japan. The show was enjoyable, and the food was delicious.

However, the venue might be a bit hard to find...

気候が爽やかなので、日本のビヤガーデンみたいに蒸し暑くありません。

The dinner was delicious and the portion size was just right for us. The show was diverse and we enjoyed the Hawaiian atmosphere. Additionally, sitting at a table by the stage was impressive, and it was great to interact with the members of the show.

ディナーは美味しくボリュームも我々にはちょうど良かった。
ショーもバラエティに富み、ハワイの雰囲気も味わえてよかった。また、ステージサイドのテーブルで迫力があり、ショーのメンバとふれあいもありよかった。

During our first trip to Hawaii, we decided to sign up for a Hawaiian show. We went in early June, and since it was in the evening, the sun was still shining when we were shown to our seats, which were directly in the sunlight. There was nothing to block the sun, so the seats that weren't in the shade (the ones directly in front of the stage) were extremely hot until the sun went down. Fortunately, we were seated in a shaded area, which was a relief.

The meal was a buffet, and since many people were going to get food, I was a bit worried about whether there would be enough left. However, it turned out fine. (There was a system in place where the area for getting food was determined, and you couldn't go up to get food unless you were called by the staff.)

We enjoyed the event even from our seats that weren't directly in front, and the dancing was wonderful. The male hula dancers were incredibly impressive and surprised us.

On the way back, we were able to take photos with the dancers in the lobby, which made for a great memory for us, as we had never seen authentic hula before.

初めてのハワイで、ハワイアンショーを見てみたいと思い申し込みました。
行ったのは6月上旬、夕方からなのでまだ陽も落ちてなくて座席に通される時間帯は日差し直撃。
特にさえぎる物もないため、陰になっていない席（ステージ正面席）は陽が落ちるまでは暑さ地獄。幸運にも横っちょの陰の席だったので助かりました。
食事はビュッフェで、かなりの人が取りにいくので「残っているのかなぁ～」と少々不安ではありましたが、大丈夫でした。（ビュッフェを取りにいくエリア順が決まったいました。ボーイさんからそのエリアへ声がかからないと勝手に取りにいってはいけない仕組みでした）
イベント自体は正面席でなくても十分に楽しめましたし、踊りも素晴らしかったです。男性フラが迫力満点で驚きました。
帰りには、ロビーで踊り子さんたちと写真が撮れましたし、
一度も本場のフラを見たことない私たちにとってはとても良い思い出になりました。

The sunset was gorgeous and service very good. Food was fine, entertainment ok.

We were picked up from the hotel and after a short drive, we boarded the cruiser at the port and headed to the sandbar. There was a lovely Japanese woman among the staff, which made me feel completely at ease. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The tide wasn't too low, and the water was up to my waist, so it didn't quite feel like a sandbar, but the stunning scenery more than made up for it! We saw several sea turtles floating around. While enjoying delicious hamburgers for lunch, we moved to a different spot where we could leisurely snorkel and see beautiful fish living around the large coral reef. It was truly an enjoyable tour. I recommended it to acquaintances going to Hawaii!

ホテルからピックアップ、少し車で走った港からクルーザーへ乗り込んでまずはサンドバーへ。スタッフにとても素敵な日本人の女性がいたので何の不安もありませんでした。スタッフはみんな　フレンドリーで気遣いも細やか、潮の状態はそこまで引いてなくて　腰あたりまで海水がありサンドバー？？って感じではありましたが　それを上回る程の景色のすばらしさ！！
ぷかぷか浮いているウミガメも何匹も見られました。美味しいハンバーガーのランチをほおばりながら、場所を移動して大きなサンゴ礁の周りに住む綺麗な魚たちをシュノーケリングでゆっくり見ることもでき本当に楽しいツアーでした。ハワイに行く知人に　お勧めしました！！

It rained during the day, so we were indoors after it got dark. The location is a bit hard to find, so it’s better to arrive early. I reserved a golden seat, but it was positioned too far to the side from the stage, and the angle was blocked by equipment like speakers, which was a bit disappointing. It was a buffet style, but if you miss the timing, there can be a long line, and some items run out quickly. I read in other reviews that golden seat guests had priority, but it seemed like regular ticket holders were the first to grab food, and we followed after them. The taste was generally good.

夜にはやみましたが日中雨が降ってたからなのか室内でした。場所は少しわかりにくいため、はやめに行った方がよさそうです。ゴールデンシートを予約しましたが、ステージからサイドすぎてスピーカー等の機材で遮られてる角度で少し残念でした。バイキング形式ですが、とるタイミングを見失うとすごい行列で無くなってしまうものもありました。他のかたの口コミでゴールデンシート優先とありましたが、普通に一般席の人がいの一番にとっており、それの後に続いた感じでした。味は普通に美味しかったです。

What a great cultural experience. Ideal for all ages & families! A big day, but a great day learning about pacific cultures :)

I enjoyed a calm tour with no waves. In the morning, I fully enjoyed kayaking, had a big pizza, and in the afternoon, I rented a bicycle and headed to a beach where I could enjoy snorkeling. It was a fulfilling day.

This is a location used for the filming of many movies. Whether you're a movie fan or not, you can enjoy it! You can fully enjoy nature, and traveling in a private vehicle is fun. It feels like riding a roller coaster. People of all ages, from adults to children, can have a great time without getting bored. A guide who speaks Japanese shares interesting stories with humor.

多くの映画の撮影で使われた場所です。
映画ファンでなくてもそうでなくても楽しめます！
自然を満喫できますし、専用車での移動は楽しいです。ジェットコースターに乗っているような感じになります。
大人から子供まで飽きることなく楽しめます。
日本語が話せるガイドさんがユーモアを交えながら秘話を話してくれますよ。

I was seated by the window. I was surprised when a seal came up on the sandy beach, but it was a wonderful memory. I received a surprise celebratory dessert from the staff, and I had a truly lovely time.

窓際の席でした。途中アザラシ？が砂浜にあがってきたときは驚きましたが、とても良い思い出です。
スタッフさんからお祝いのデザートをサプライズでいただき、とてもステキな時間を過ごせました。

I was looking forward to Sandbar, but at the time close to high tide, the sand wasn't exposed, and it was just a shallow area with splashing. Since it was shallow, there were no fish at all. Well, I did choose to depart a bit later in the morning.

In the afternoon snorkeling, we swam around the coral reef, but the fish were just average to sparse. The water clarity was low, but the coral was magnificent.

The cruise guide, Yumiko, was very enjoyable and considerate, and the hamburger for lunch was delicious, creating a very nice atmosphere.

サンドバー、楽しみにしていましたが、満潮に近い時刻で砂は浮き出ておらず、単なる浅瀬のぱちゃぱちゃでした。浅瀬なので魚も全くおらず。まぁ、午前中ゆっくりめの出発を選んだのは私ですが。

午後のシュノーケリングでは、サンゴ礁の回りを泳ぎますが、魚影はごくふつうから少なめ。水の透明度は低め。サンゴはみごとでしたが。

クルーズのガイド、ゆみこさんはとても楽しく、気を遣ってくれて、ランチのハンバーガーはおいしくて、雰囲気はとてもよかった。

The Toa Luau was a great first luau for our family (30 to 60 year olds). Waimea Valley itself is beautiful; definitely come at least 2 hours early to be able to walk to the waterfall and enjoy the scenery. The pre-luau activities like weaving grass head bands, husking coconuts etc were fun. The show itself was fantastic too - they performed authentic ceremonies and dances from different Polynesian islands. The host was hilarious! Only slight downside was the food was only mediocre. We are all vegetarian and our main entree was bland quinoa; but we were happy there was even a vegetarian option (you have to request ahead of time though). Overall this luau is definitely worth it and we will recommend it to all of our family and friends!!

Everything was amazing! First of all, Mr. Gaito's guidance was very thorough, which made me feel secure participating in the tour. The BBQ hamburger was also juicy and incredibly delicious! Above all, I was able to fully enjoy the ocean in Hawaii! At the sandbar, I took photos right in the middle of the sea and admired the beautiful water. During the sea turtle watching, although they were a bit far away, I encountered two sea turtles. While snorkeling, I was able to swim alongside a sea turtle! If I have the chance to go to Hawaii again, I would definitely love to participate once more!

まず、ガイトさんの案内が非常に丁寧で安心してツアーに参加することが出来ました。BBQハンバーガーも肉汁が溢れてとても美味しかったです！
そして何よりハワイの海を満喫出来ました！サンドバーでは海のど真ん中で写真を撮ったり、綺麗な海を眺めたり。ウミガメウォッチングでは少し遠目ではありましたが、ウミガメ２匹と遭遇。シュノーケリングでは何とウミガメと一緒に泳ぐことが出来ました！
またハワイに行く機会があれば是非もう一度参加したいです！

The sandbar was beautiful even without the sand. It seems to depend on the weather, so it really is a matter of luck. The staff were very accommodating, and they took photos for us. The hamburgers grilled on the boat were delicious, and I enjoyed snorkeling for the first time without any worries. We scattered bread for the fish, so we got to see a lot of tropical fish, which made for a happy time.

サンドバーは砂が出ていなくても色が綺麗でした。お天気によるそうなので、これは本当に運です。

This was an amazing experience! I went with a group of friends and we all loved the environment of the cruise ship. The food was pretty amazing and the live jazz performance was very enjoyable. My favorite was definitely the Polynesian live dance performance. This 30-minute performance was the highlight of the night. The dancers wouldn't just perform, they would interact with the audience by giving high fives, springing peace signs at unexpected times and made our corner of the ship laugh the entire time. If you get seasick easily, I would recommend taking some kind of precaution/medication (the servers were able to provide some medication, too) since a few of my friends did start feeling queasy for a little bit and had to spend some time on the lower deck. However, don't let motion sickness keep you from the cruise! It was still altogether wonderful time.

I participated with my 5-year-old and 8-year-old children, and the sea was beautiful, we saw turtles, and the hamburgers we ate on the boat were fantastic. More than that, the crew's consideration for the children and their cheerful attitude made me want to join again.

5歳と8歳の子供連れで参加しましたが、海も綺麗し亀も見れて船の上で食べるハンバーガーも最高でした。それ以上にクルーの人の子供への配慮や陽気な感じ、また参加したいと思いました。

I had to wait to board the boat, but during that time, I was able to go to the restroom. It was cloudy at departure, but once we got out to sea, the weather turned nice, which was great. When we arrived at the sandbar, the water was up to my waist, but we had fun playing beach volleyball, and afterwards, we enjoyed delicious hamburgers! It was the best! Everything except alcohol was free, and there were many options, so it might be good for kids as well. After that, we moved on to look for turtles, and luckily, we even saw a manta ray by chance. Then we went snorkeling around the coral, and I got a bit exhausted, but I managed to swim. I got so caught up in the fun that I ended up with a sunburn. Make sure to apply sunscreen regularly (laughs). Yuki, who guided us, explained everything clearly, and the other members were nice too! Thank you very much.

船に乗るのに待たされましたがその間にトイレに行けました。出発時は曇っていましたが沖に出たら良い天気になって良かったです。サンドバーに着いたら腰あたりまで海水がありましたが楽しくビーチバレーで遊んで、その後美味しいハンバーガー！最高でした！アルコール以外は無料で種類も多いのでお子様にも良いのではないでしょうか。その後移動して亀探し、ラッキーなことに偶然マンタまで見れました。その後シュノーケリング珊瑚の周りを1周してちょっとヘトヘトになりましたがなんとか泳げました。遊びに夢中になりすぎて全身日焼けしました。日焼け止めはコマ目に塗りましょう（笑）案内してくれたユキさん説明がわかりやすく、他のメンバーも良い方でした！ありがとうございました。

This excursion was so much fun. The staff went out of their way to make our time great. The hamburgers were great and the alcoholic drinks were available for $5 which is a good price here. We saw Manta Rays which they said wasn’t so common and two giant turtles.

(1) When I arrived around 11 o'clock, the water level was up to my waist due to the tides. It's not sandy like in the pictures, so those who want to stay dry should be careful.
(2) I swam near the coral reef where I could see fish up close while snorkeling. I took off my glasses and injured my knee on the shallow coral reef. Those with poor eyesight should be careful.

⑴ 私が到着した11時頃は潮の関係で腰まで水位がありました。写真のような砂地ではありませんので濡れたくない人はご注意ください。
⑵ シュノーケリングで魚が身近に見える珊瑚礁付近を泳ぎました。メガネを外していたので浅瀬の珊瑚礁で膝を怪我しました。目の悪い方、ご注意ください。

◆ Movie Location Tour
I joined a group led by a Japanese guide named Tastin. The explanations in easy-to-understand Japanese, mixed with jokes, made the tour very enjoyable. Of course, the dynamic scenery is the main attraction, but Tastin's guidance made the tour even more fun.
In front of the Jurassic Park sign, all the guides had dinosaur figures, and they offered two versions of photos: one standing normally in front of the sign and another posing as if being attacked with the figure in the foreground. I had the chance to see other groups taking photos, and it seemed that the quality varied depending on the guide.
Although there was no mention of tips, I had such a great time that I gave a little extra when getting off the bus. I felt it was the most pleasant experience of my stay, and I genuinely wanted to give a tip. This was to express my gratitude for the fun I had and my hope that future participants in the same tour would receive the same quality of guidance. I was the first to get off, so I noticed some people in the back preparing tips as an afterthought. I think it was a good approach to receive service that made me want to tip. I wish there were a way to choose the guide for the tour.

◆ Jungle Tour
There was a Japanese guide, but their voice was too quiet to hear well. When we got off at the location from Jumanji, the guide spoke only in English, and for other languages, there was a laminated A4-sized explanation sheet with photos available on-site. However, there was no explanation that it would be English only at that location, so I thought the Japanese guide would explain again, but there was no explanation at all. If they had at least said it was only in English, I would have gone closer to the English guide to listen. However, the main focus of this tour wasn't the destinations but the dynamic drive on rough roads. The uphill was quite enjoyable, but the thrill of the downhill wild drive had us screaming in excitement. It seems the quality of the experience depended on the driver's skill. The guide was a miss, but the driver was a hit. I tipped each of them, giving the driver a normal amount and the guide a little less.

◆ Lunch Buffet
There was a short 30-minute time before the next tour, so it was a bit rushed. The taste was average, but the meat was delicious. The fruit was also tasty, so I would love to eat a lot of just meat and fruit.

◆ Secret Garden Tour
This tour involved visiting an area where plants are grown, with a slow-driving driver and a Japanese guide. The Japanese guide was Tastin, but the energy was more subdued compared to the movie location tour. There were calm explanations, and we had a review of the explanations from the movie location tour, which I enjoyed.
I rarely get to see fruits in their natural state on trees, so it was educational. I got to taste a little fruit and macadamia nuts, as well as a dip made from taro paste that ancient Hawaiians used to eat with tuna jerky. I noticed that the guide was considerate, engaging with small children to ensure they enjoyed the experience.
Since this is more of a bonus tour, I wouldn't recommend participating in just this one alone. I think it would be enjoyable as part of a package tour.

◆映画ロケ地巡り
日本語ガイドのタスティンさんのグループになりました。
わかりやすい日本語の説明で、ジョークも交えつつのガイドはとても楽しかったです。
もちろんダイナミックな風景が一番の売りなのでしょうが、よりタスティンさんのガイドで一層楽しいツアーとなっていました。
ジュラシックパークの看板前ではどのガイドさんも恐竜人形を持っていて、看板前に普通に立って撮るバージョンと、人形を前景にして襲われているようなポーズの2バージョンを撮ってくれます。
他のグループの撮影風景も見る機会がありましたが、ガイドさんによって様々で、当たり外れがあるように感じました。
チップの事は一言も言われませんでしたが、すごく楽しかったのでバスを降りる時ちょっと多めに渡しました。
今回の滞在で一番気持ち良く、しかも払いたいと心から思って渡したと思います。
楽しめたお礼と、今後同じツアーに参加する人にもまた同じクオリティでガイドして欲しいな、という期待も込みです。
一番先に降車したので、後ろで思い出したようにチップの用意をしてる方も居ました。
払いたいと思えるサービスを受けたので、良い方法だったかなと。
ガイドさんを選べるツアーになれば良いのにな、と思います。

◆ジャングルツアー
一応日本語のガイドさんが居ましたが、声が小さく聞こえにくい。
ジュマンジのロケ地で降りた時のガイドは英語のみ、他の言語は写真つきのA4サイズのラミネートした説明書？をその場で見れます。
ただし、ロケ地で降りた時は英語のみとの説明も無かったので、日本語ガイドさんが再度説明してくれるかと思いきや何の説明もない。
せめて英語の説明しかないって言ってくれればもっと英語ガイドさんのそばに行って聞いたのに…。
でも、このツアーのメインはそういった目的地などではなく、荒れた道でのダイナミックなドライブです。
上りも割りと楽しかったですが、下りのスリル満点、ワイルドなドライブはきゃあきゃあと声を上げて楽しみました。
これはドライバーさんの腕で当たり外れがありそうです。
ガイドさんは外れ、ドライバーさんは当たりのツアーでした。
チップはそれぞれに、ドライバーさんへは普通に、ガイドさんへは少なめに渡しました。

◆昼食ブッフェ
次のツアーまで30分という短い時間でバタバタでした。
味は普通かな、お肉はおいしかった。
フルーツもおいしかったので、お肉とフルーツだけをいっぱい食べたいです。

◆シークレットガーデンツアー
植物を育てているエリアを、ゆっくりとした運転のドライバーさんと、日本語のガイドさんとでまわるツアー。
日本語ガイドはタスティンさんでしたが、映画ロケ地ツアーよりテンションは抑え目。落ち着いた解説と、映画ロケ地ツアーでの解説覚えてますか？と復習があり、楽しく聞きました。
木になってる状態の果物はあまり見る機会が無いので勉強になりました。
ちょっとだけ果物やマカダミアナッツを食べたり、昔のハワイ人が食べていたというタロイモのペーストをマグロのジャーキーにディップしたものを頂いたりしました。
小さい子供が楽しめるように話し掛けていたり、気遣いがあったな、と思います。
オマケ的なツアーなので、これだけへの参加はあまりオススメしません。抱き合わせなら楽しめるかな、と思いました。

I joined because I wanted to meet sea turtles. The weather wasn't great, but the captain grilled the BBQ patties, which were thick and delicious. It was my first experience playing beach volleyball, and everyone from different countries cooperated, making it much more fun than I expected.

ウミガメに会いたくて参加しましたお天気がイマイチでしたが、BBQのパテは船長さんが焼いてくれ、分厚くて美味しかったですビーチバレー初体験でしたが、多国籍のみんなが協力して思った以上にメチャ楽しかったです

I booked a vow renewal course for my parents.

The food was delicious (especially the steak), and the vow renewal words spoken by the captain were truly wonderful.

It was rare for it to rain all day in Hawaii, and I was worried if the boat would go out, but I participated and was very satisfied. If anyone mentions wanting to see a dinner show in Hawaii in the future, I will definitely recommend this to my friends.

両親のバウリニューアルコースで予約しました。

ご飯も美味しかったですし(ステーキが特に)、船長が言ってくれるバウリニューアルの誓い言葉もほんと素敵でした。

ハワイでは珍しく雨が一日中降っていて船でるかなぁーと心配していましたが参加してとても満足です。
今後ハワイでディナーショーを見たいと言われたら友人などに必ずオススメします。

It might have been because of the rain, but I felt like, "Where's the sandbar???" There was no white sandy beach anywhere, the sea was murky, and the scenery was the worst.
However, the crew members were very cheerful and kind, which made for a fun time!

雨だったせいもあるけど、サンドバーどこ？？？?って感じで、白い砂浜なんてどこにもなく、海はにごり、景色は最悪でした。
でもクルーのみなさんはとても陽気で優しくておかげで楽しい時間になりました！

I reserved the front row guaranteed seats. We arrived around 16:40, but there were already about 15 people in line. We didn't know where the entrance was and ended up walking all the way around the Hilton, so I recommend getting there as early as possible! The show is definitely worth it. The muscular men are mesmerizing. I especially recommend taking videos of the fire show and the finale so you can look back at them later. It's better not to have high expectations for the buffet. We didn't have much of an appetite due to jet lag, so we just had a light meal and then relaxed at the bar afterward. 私たちは入口が分からず、ヒルトンをぐるっと一周してしまったので、なるべく早めに行く事をお勧めします！！
ショーは見応え十分。
ムキムキの男性陣にうっとりします。
特にファイヤーショーと、フィナーレは動画にとると、後で見返せるのでお勧めです。
ブッフェは期待しないほうが良いですね。
私達は時差ボケの為あまり食欲が無かったので軽く食べて、終わった後にのんびりバーに行きました。
他にもフラショーはありますが、ここは落ち着いて観れるし、時間がない旅行者の方にもお勧めです！
