Seven years ago, my wife and I participated, but just a week before, I fractured my shoulder bone, so I couldn't join the snorkeling or SUP activities. I was envious watching my wife challenge SUP for the first time and quickly stand up.

This time, I was in perfect health and was able to fully enjoy snorkeling and SUP with my wife, which had been my long-held wish.

Seven years ago, there were few SUP boards available, and we couldn't ride much due to waiting in line, but now there are plenty, allowing us to play freely without waiting.

During snorkeling, I was deeply moved to quietly watch a sea turtle come right up to me.

With the end of COVID, there were more Japanese participants. Over 80% of the bus and boat passengers were Japanese, but there were no Japanese-speaking staff. The entire experience was conducted in English, and I think both the clientele and staff have changed since seven years ago.

Seven years ago, before getting on the return bus, I had time to change into dry clothes in the restroom, so I came prepared to change, but everyone was waiting on the bus in their wet swimsuits, and I felt bad about that.

One more disappointing thing was that previously, a group photo of all participants, including staff, was taken at the sandbar and could be purchased online, but that service has been discontinued. It would be great if they could bring that back, as it makes for wonderful memories.

７年前に一度夫婦で参加しましたが、その１週間前に私が肩の骨を骨折してしまい、シュノーケリングもSUPも参加出来ずに終わりました。
妻がSUPのみチャレンジし、初めてなのに直ぐに立ち上がっているのを見て羨ましく思っていました。

今回は万全の体調で参加出来、念願のシュノーケリングもSUPも夫婦で思いっきり楽しむ事が出来ました。

７年前は遊べるSUPの数が少なく、順番待ちであまり乗れませんでしたが、現在は数も十分確保されており、順番待ち無く心置き無く遊ぶ事が出来ました。

シュノーケリングでも、目の前まで寄って来たホヌを静かに見る事が出来て、大変感動しました。

コロナが収束して日本人の参加者も増えて居ました。
乗って来たバスもボートも８割以上が日本人でしたが、日本語対応のスタッフが居ませんでした。
終始英語のみの進行で、７年前と客層もスタッフも変わっていたんだと思います。

７年前は帰りのバスに乗る前に、トイレで乾いた服に着替える時間があったので、そのつもりで着替えて来たら、皆濡れた水着のままバスに乗って待っており、申し訳ない事をしてしまいました。

あと一つだけ残念だったのは、以前はスタッフも含めた参加者全員のサンドバーでの集合写真を撮って、netで購入出来たのですが、その様なサービスが無くなっっていた事です。
良い思い出になるので、またやってくれると良いですね。

I participated with my daughter. The staff who provided explanations in Japanese before we set sail and those who guided us on the boat were all very kind, making the experience enjoyable from start to finish.

They let us know when we approached the area known as Heart Reef and when the honu appeared.

We played with SUP and other activities in the first half, followed by snorkeling in the second half. There were SUP boards, floaties, and water guns, and we had 45 minutes of fun. Along the way, the staff came around to each participant to take photos, which was a delightful service.

For snorkeling, those who couldn't swim were given something like a float to hold onto, and the staff pulled them along. Even if you can't swim, you can participate safely as long as you wear a life jacket, and the staff stays with you the whole time.

I was moved to swim with the honu.

泳げなくても、ライフジャケットを着用し、スタッフの方がずっとついててくれるので、安心して参加できました。

ホヌとも泳げて、感動しました。

I participated with my husband, daughter, and middle school grandson. The sandbar wasn't at low tide, but it felt safe in the shallow water. I wanted to try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) too, so we all enjoyed it as a family. Later, my husband and I watched our daughter and grandson enjoy snorkeling from the boat, and it was so much fun! They were thrilled to see many turtles.

Above all, I was very satisfied with the staff member who spoke Japanese; she explained everything clearly and interestingly. My daughter and grandson both said they want to do it again! Thank you for all your help.

During snorkeling, we were able to see many turtles up close. The staff kindly taught my wife, who is not a strong swimmer, and they also kept a watchful eye on her, which made us feel safe. Above all, both the captain and the staff spoke Japanese well, and there were also Japanese staff members, which added to our sense of security. This is a recommended activity if you visit Hawaii. However, due to the tides, it's not guaranteed that sandbars will appear as shown in the promotional photos, so you might need to be a little cautious about that.

I went at the timing of the lowest tide during my stay, and it was about waist-deep. The staff mentioned it was shallow, so it might not be possible to see the sandy beach. However, even from a distance, the color of the sea here is completely different, which makes the journey exciting. I was wondering where we would do stand-up paddleboarding, so it was quite understandable.

The edge of this reef is a coral reef (with steep cliffs), and there are many sea turtles there. Everyone swims along with the staff, so it's safe to observe (though it gets a bit congested... (laughs)). Sometimes they come close to the surface for air! (The staff said I was lucky.) Of course, we shouldn't touch them.

Unfortunately, my camera malfunctioned halfway through, and I couldn't take any pictures of the sea turtles, which was disappointing, but I was able to remember it well, so that was enough for me.

The cheerful and energetic staff, delicious spam onigiri, and fun activities... I had a wonderful experience.

今回途中でカメラの調子がおかしくなってウミガメを全く撮る事ができず残念でしたが、記憶にはしっかり残せたので十分です。
明るくて元気なスタッフさん達、美味しいスパムおにぎり、楽しいアクティビティ…素晴らしい経験をさせてもらえました。

I chose the day with the lowest tide during my trip to Hawaii and made a reservation, but at the lowest point, the water was up to my knees.

Since it was an early morning course, it was cold! The water felt quite cold until I got used to it.

We headed to the sandbar on two boats, and our boat spent about an hour taking photos and enjoying stand-up paddleboarding freely. The last hour was for snorkeling. We were able to see several sea turtles! They swam very close to us! It was a bit disappointing that the water where we were snorkeling was a little murky, but I was very satisfied because I got to see so many sea turtles. The scooters were everything we hoped they would be, we saw tons of fish and the support team was absolutely incredible in ensuring we had FUN. One of the guys found an octopus to bring over for photos and to interact with. We were in the 2nd scooter group, so I got to hop in for snorkeling both before and after my scooter ride. I saw a turtle while snorkeling and it was neat to watch some of the scooters cruising around. Highly recommend adding this experience to your must do list while on Oahu. You won't be disappointed.

The shuttle from the hotel was lively and filled with fun conversations, and we arrived at the port in no time! The weather was great, and the ocean was beautiful! We participated in snorkeling and stand-up paddleboarding. During snorkeling, they taught us how to swim, and we were able to see many fish and sea turtles. The staff were very friendly, and it was a lot of fun! I will definitely join again when I come to Hawaii!

I participated in a tour at the end of August. We gathered at a hotel in Waikiki around 9 AM and moved by bus. From 11 AM to 1 PM, we enjoyed activities in the ocean. We arrived back at the hotel at 2 PM.

On the boat heading out to sea, we were provided with water and juice. There were also snacks and Spam rice balls, all for free. We went snorkeling and observed the fish in the ocean. The guide pointed out the locations of the fish and coral, and we were able to see beautiful fish. It felt like being in Nemo's world.

Although it was in the morning, the weather was nice, and we were able to stand on the sandbar. I was with my 10-year-old and 6-year-old children, and they were able to stand as well. There were no waves.

You can borrow floaties and stand-up paddleboarding equipment for free. There are also floaties available for children. While we were playing, a sea turtle swam by, and we were able to see it up close.

On the return boat ride, we could enjoy warm coffee, tea, and cocoa for free. There were also crew members who spoke Japanese, which was reassuring. There is a restroom on the boat as well.

My children were very satisfied.

Although the price seemed high, considering the high cost of living in Hawaii, I think the cost performance is good for participating in this tour at this price.

子供も大満足でした。

値段が高いように見えましたが、物価が高いハワイで、この値段でツアー参加でき、コストパフォーマンスは良いと思います。

My cousin and I booked this snorkeling tour as it was her first time and she didn't feel comfortable being out in super deep in the water or in a very open area. The lagoon where this snorkel tour is hosted is great as it has rock barrier walls all around to protect it from large waves. Our tour guide, Micki was so knowledgeable and was able to tell us so much about the fish and coral that we could see. This is a great tour for beginners or families with younger children who want to try out snorkeling! Would highly recommend it!

The children, who have strong core and leg muscles, were able to stand up on the SUP right away, but I, having passed my sixtieth birthday and with weakened legs, couldn't stand until the end, which was quite frustrating. I experienced two types of snorkeling tours with my wife, one at Hanauma Bay and the other at Sandbar, but the Sandbar tour was somewhat disappointing. The reason is that the water clarity is inferior compared to Hanauma Bay, and there were hardly any fish, which was unfortunate. Additionally, unlike the guide at Hanauma Bay, you have to take your own photos and videos, which brings the risk of losing or damaging your smartphone and adds extra hassle. On the positive side, it is easy to encounter sea turtles, and there are activities other than snorkeling, which was a nice aspect.

私は妻とシュノーケリングツアーを2種類それぞれハナウマ湾とサンドバーを体験させていただきましたがこちらのサンドバーツアーはいまいちでした。
理由としては海の透明感がハナウマ湾に比べ劣っている事や魚が全然居ないので残念です。
また、ハナウマ湾のガイドと違い写真や動画はご自身で撮らないといけないのでスマホの紛失や故障のリスクもつきまとったり手間がかかる点も残念ポイントです。
良い点としては海亀に会いやすい事やシュノーケリング以外の遊びがあるのでそれは良いポイントでした。

Thank you for a truly wonderful time! The driver's explanations during the trip were clear in Japanese, and the vehicle was cool and comfortable. Once we arrived, I just took care of the restroom (they even pointed out the cleaner one) and off we went!

On the way to the points in a larger boat, we saw turtles and were shown a spot where the sea looks heart-shaped! The water's clarity was amazing, and the staff's teamwork in providing explanations in both English and Japanese, sticking to the schedule, and their overall hospitality was outstanding. The snorkeling was taught kindly to me, who struggles with swimming, and I was able to participate successfully, and guess what! I even got to swim with turtles! Thank you so much.

At one point, someone dropped their GoPro, and the staff worked hard to dive and search for it (which they later found), and they took photos for us on the boat. Everything was just perfect. If I were richer, I would have loved to give even more tips!!! I look forward to doing this again.

We arrived at the sandbar in about 15 minutes by boat. The seawater is a bit cold. While enjoying the transparent sea, we leisurely played for about 45 minutes with SUP (one per group), snorkeling, and floaties. During that time, we had snacks like drinks, Spam rolls (one per person), and chips on the boat, and we were able to enjoy cola, which we hesitated to buy due to the weak yen.

They took us to the snorkeling point, where we could see plenty of fish up close. Unfortunately, we didn't see any turtles, but it was beautiful and fun. There was a woman who spoke Japanese, so we had no trouble communicating. We went in the afternoon, but we were able to return around 4 PM, which allows for some evening fun around Waikiki, making it worthwhile whether you go in the morning or afternoon.

This is my child's favorite tour, so we use it every time we go to Hawaii (about the 6th time?). This time, there were no restroom breaks or turtle watching on the way there. Maybe that meant we had more time to play? It was our first time going on a Saturday, so that might be why.

As we sailed, we suddenly came across a sandy shallow area offshore. SUP was fun there, but moving to a slightly deeper spot for snorkeling was the best! I was moved to see tropical fish and sea turtles swimming right next to me.

Actually, I had a bit of a trauma from almost drowning while snorkeling in the past, but the captain practiced with me by holding my hand beforehand, and the staff members watched over me closely, which made me feel safe while swimming.

The staff were kind, funny, and absolutely wonderful. They played with my child using water guns. The transportation staff were also friendly and gentlemanly. During snorkeling, when I felt a bit scared, they led me and said, "Let's go together." I've participated in several overseas tours, but I've never felt as safe and enjoyed myself as much as I did here. I highly recommend this tour.
