We participated as a family with a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old. The transportation was provided by a small bus with a Japanese-speaking driver to our hotel. It took about 30 minutes to the port, and then we arrived at the destination in about 15 minutes by a small ferry. The captain was very kind, stopping when we spotted sea turtles or when a guest's hat fell into the sea.

I had imagined the location to be a sandy beach, but it was a shallow area about 100 cm deep, so the 6-year-old needed a float. For water activities, there were floats, a small boat with windows to observe the seabed, and paddleboards. After playing for about an hour, those who wanted to went snorkeling.

Snorkeling is generally recommended for those who can swim on their own, but you can also hold onto the instructor's board for assistance. The instructions were provided on the boat with Japanese interpretation. Since putting on the mask can be a bit tricky, it might be smoother if you research it in advance. The 12-year-old accidentally swallowed some seawater and felt a bit sick later.

Under the sea, we could clearly see fish, corals, and sea turtles. Onboard, snacks, canned drinks, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were freely available. Bringing your own food was also allowed. When it's a bit chilly, it can be quite tough... Even in a tropical climate, if it's cloudy or drizzling, the water feels cold. I had to drink coffee while shivering after getting out of the sea. However, the guides were truly wonderful with their thoughtfulness and care; we received free spam onigiri, apples, drinks, and juice—all complimentary. During snorkeling, there were plenty of sea turtles right in front of us, making for a special experience. I definitely recommend going! The weather is just a matter of luck, so there's nothing you can do about it.

I recommend checking the dates and times for low tide before making a reservation. (As for the weather on the day, we can only leave it to luck...) The water temperature was a bit low and it was cold, but I was glad to encounter a sea turtle. It was my first time snorkeling, and my 10-year-old son was also happy.
There are several staff members who speak Japanese, and they provide explanations in Japanese as well. About 80% of the tourists are Japanese.
There are no changing rooms, so we went in our swimsuits and wiped off our wet bodies before getting on the bus for the return trip. Some people were changing in the restroom, but there are only three stalls, so it gets crowded. It might be tough for those who are not good with the cold.

I participated in a tour with two friends. Due to the rainy season in October, the sandbar was deeper than I expected (about chest height), but we were able to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of the white sandy area while playing with floaties. It was my first experience with snorkeling, and I wasn't very good at swimming, which made me anxious. However, wearing a life jacket made me feel safe, and there was a clear pre-lecture, practice time in shallow water, and several guides watching over us, so the support system was sufficient. It was scary to go deeper than I imagined (maybe due to the rainy season?), but while desperately keeping up, I was able to see coral and sea turtles, making it a valuable experience. We encountered sea turtles several times on the way to and from the tour, allowing us to feel the nature of Hawaii. The light snack of spam onigiri was also delicious. I thought the price was a bit high, but I believe it was worth it for the unique experience that only a tour can provide. I highly recommend it as it offers a valuable opportunity to connect with Hawaii's nature.

友人2人とツアーに参加しました。10月雨季だった影響もあり、サンドバーは思っていたより水深は深めでした（胸下あたり）が、浮き輪で遊びながら白い砂地の美しい景色を十分楽しめました。シュノーケリングは初体験で、あまり泳ぎも得意ではなく不安だったのですが、ライフジャケット装着で安心ですし、解りやすく事前にレクチャーあり、浅瀬での練習時間あり、ガイドさんが数名で見守ってくれるのでフォロー体制も十分でした。想像以上に深いところまでいくので怖かったですが（雨季の影響もあるかも？）、必死について行きながら、サンゴやウミガメも見れて貴重な体験ができ満足でした。行きも帰りも何度も船の上からウミガメに会う事ができ、ハワイの自然を感じる事ができました。軽食のスパムおにぎりも美味しかったです。少し値段はお高めかな？と思いましたが、ツアーだからこそ体験できる価値もあり参加してよかったと思っています。ハワイの自然に触れる貴重な体験ができるので、絶対おすすめです。

This was my third time participating. I usually can't see the sandbar. If it's waist-deep, that's better. During the accompanying snorkeling, I was able to see fish, corals, and turtles. The stand-up paddleboarding felt free with two people sharing one board, and I enjoyed it. This time, the weather was nice and not cold, but last time the bus was cold and it was quite uncomfortable. A dry towel and something to wear over are essentials.

The meeting place was hard to find, and I was made to wait a long time, which was disappointing, especially since I was treated rudely. However, I managed to make it in time for the start, and once I joined, the instructor who went into the sea with us was very kind and great. There weren't many fish, but the starfish were interesting. I also enjoyed the scenery of Magic Island.
