We decided to go to Sea Life Park because my 6-year-old daughter expressed her wish to meet dolphins. Since it was a special opportunity, we participated with 10 family members.

It was unfortunate that my daughter was not old enough to join the program to swim with the dolphins, but she was really happy to interact with them. We purchased all three photos of her, and they are displayed at home. She happily says, "I got to shake hands with the dolphin and even gave it a kiss!" Both children and adults had a wonderful time, and we were very satisfied.

However, there was one point of concern.

I had read on the website that DVDs could also be purchased, so I planned to buy one. But when we went to the photo area, we were told that there were no DVDs available. Was a reservation required for the DVD in advance? I received explanations in Japanese on-site, and while they mentioned the photos, there was no explanation about the DVDs. Therefore, I assumed it was similar to the photos, where those who wanted them could purchase them. Since the DVD was something my child was looking forward to the most on this trip, it was disappointing that we couldn't buy it.

6歳の娘の「イルカに会いたい」との希望で、シーライフパークに行くことに。
せっかくの機会だからと、親族10名で参加しました。

イルカと一緒に泳ぐプログラムは、まだ年齢が満たなかったのが残念でしたが、
娘はイルカと触れ合えたことが本当に嬉しかったようです。
写真も娘のものは、3カット全て購入し、家で飾っています。
「イルカさんと握手♪チュもできたの～」といいながら嬉しそうに見ています。
子供も大人も、とっても素敵な時間を過ごすことができて、大満足でした。

ですが、気になった点が1つほど。

こちらのサイトで、DVDも購入できるように書いてあったので、それも購入予定
でいたのですが、写真のところに行ってみると、DVDはないとの返事でした。
DVDは先に予約などが必要だったのでしょうか？
現地で日本語で説明を受けたのですが、写真のことは言っておられましたが、
DVDのことは何も説明はありませんでした。そのため、写真と同じように、
撮られており、ほしい人が購入するのだと思っていました。
子供が今回の旅行で一番楽しみにしていたものだっただけに、DVDが購入でき
なかったのは残念でした。

It was the best optional tour I've ever been on! The boat was quite rocky, but I had no issues thanks to taking motion sickness medication the day before and on the day of the tour. It was such an exciting time that I even shouted with my snorkel in my mouth!

今までのどのオプショナルツアーよりも最高でした！船はとても揺れますが、前日の酔い止め＋当日の酔い止め服用で問題なしでした。シュノーケルを噛んだまま声を出してしまうくらいエキサイティングな時間でした！

Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, and it was quite cold to enter the pool.
But I really got to touch the dolphins and even kiss and shake hands with them!
I felt like I became the dolphin show lady I dreamed of as a child!
With this cheaper plan, there are only two options for shaking hands and kissing, and you can't swim with the dolphins or have them push you while swimming.
However, there is plenty of time, and since it's a small group, I'm satisfied.
The instructor can speak some Japanese, although it's limited.
The park is small for spending a whole day here, so I think it's a good idea to combine this with other plans.

あいにく天候は雨で、プールに入るのはさすがに寒かったのです。
でも本当にイルカに触れてキスや握手ができました！
小さい頃の夢、イルカショーのお姉さんになれた気分です！
こちらの安価な方のプランでは握手とキスの二種類だけで、イルカと一緒に泳いだり、足を押してもらって泳ぐことはできません。
でも時間は十分ありますし、少人数で出来るので満足です。
インストラクターの方も片言ではありますが、日本語が通じます。
丸一日ここで過ごすには狭い園内ですので、他と合わせてプランを立てるのもいいと思います。

An amazing experience. Even though the water was extremely rough the day we went, it was still incredible. Our guides were the best too.

Since you're scootering around in a bay, you won't have the beauty of any coral reefs but bread feeding will attract the fish and the experience as a whole is alot of fun. You can snorkel around and if you have an underwater camera like I did, you can take some really fun pictures. There are scuba diving lessons going on in the area as well as the water jet pack session. The captain and the diving crew were fun and helpful. Your safety is the #1 thing on their minds. The water was warm enough and even though we were on a boat with no English speaking people, we all had a good time.

Since all the staff were Japanese, the explanations were easy to understand, and I was able to get on right away, which made me feel safe and enjoy myself. I was also happy that the accompanying staff took many photos when I handed over my digital camera. I had so much fun that I want to choose a longer course next time I come!

全員日本人スタッフさんだったので、説明もわかりやすく、すぐに乗れるようになり、安心して楽しめました。持ってきたデジカメを預けたら、同行スタッフさんがたくさん撮ってくださったのも嬉しかったです。次にまた来れたら、もっと長く乗れるコースにしたい！と思うくらい楽しかったです。

It was much more beautiful to see the fish and turtles swimming up close than just through snorkeling, and I was truly moved. They took beautiful photos and videos for me, and I couldn't help but buy the video, especially since it captured the turtles swimming beautifully for a long time. I also appreciated that they sent the purchased photos and videos via email. The diving guides were all very kind. However, while they could speak some Japanese, there were moments when communication was a bit challenging. There were only two underwater scooters available on one boat, so while waiting, you could go snorkeling, but the timing for getting in and out wasn't very clear, so you had to be careful not to bump into the divers. You could say it was a bit haphazard, or you could say it was free-spirited, but overall, I had a great time. It became a wonderful memory!

魚やカメが間近で泳ぐところを、シュノーケリングで見るよりも何倍もきれいに見れて、感動しました。写真と動画もきれいに撮ってもらい、特に動画にはカメの泳ぐところがきれいに長く映っていたので、思わず買ってしまいました。買った写真と動画は、データでメールに送ってくれるのもありがたかったです。案内のダイバーの方々もみんな親切でした。ただ、日本語がぺらぺらかというとそうではなく、少し意思疎通が難しいところもありました。水中スクーターは1つの船に2つしかないので、待っている間はシュノーケリングをしてもよいのですが、入ったりあがったりするタイミングがはっきりしていないので、自分で気をつけていないとダイバーの人とぶつかりそうになってしまいます。悪くいえば適当、良くいえば自由ですが、全体的にとても楽しかったです。いい思い出になりました！

On this tour, we went in search of the common dolphin. It seems that encountering bottlenose dolphins, which appear in aquarium shows, is quite difficult. However, it turned out to be a lucky day for us, as we were able to see not only common dolphins but also bottlenose dolphins.

このツアーではハシナガイルカを探しに行きます。水族館のショーに登場するバンドウイルカはなかなか遭遇することが難しいとのことでした。私たちが行った日は当たりだったようでハシナガイルカだけでなく、バンドウイルカにも会うことがでいました。

I can barely swim and I'm too scared to dive even with a snorkel, but my wife is a diver and wanted to do some ocean activities together, so I thought this might work out... and signed up.

The transportation and local arrangements were normal, without any particular issues. We took off our shoes and boarded the boat with about 20 people, of which only about six were Japanese. Along the way, we read a Japanese lecture file.

The sea at the North Shore was somewhat rough, and the boat rocked quite a bit. The Japanese student group that was with us was almost seasick. If you're prone to motion sickness, it's better to skip this. Even after we got into the cage, the waves were rough and it was tough.

I later heard that the North Shore is calm only around July to August. We were able to see sharks up close, so it's a good activity for those who like that, but personally, it was extremely challenging for me... I was overestimating my abilities. My wife was very happy, though.

送迎や現地での対応は、特に問題はなく普通です。
裸足になって船に乗り込み、20人ほどで沖へ行くんですが日本人は6名ほど。
途中で日本語のレクチャーファイルを読みます。

ノースショアの海はそこそこ時化ており、かなり船が揺れました。
一緒に行ってた日本の学生グループもほぼグロッキーに。
船酔いに弱い人はやめとく方がいいです。
順番が来て檻に入ってからも、波は荒れて苦しいです。

後で聞いたのですが、ノースショアは7～8月くらいだけらしいです、おとなしいのは。
ちゃんと鮫は間近で見えたので、好きな人にはいいアクティビティですが
個人的には非常にきつかったです。。。身の程知らずでしたね。
嫁はたいそうよろこんでおりました。

We changed our whole itinerary just to go and do the sea trek adventure and we were not disappointed. It was one of the most amazing things we have ever done. The crew was friendly, experienced and very professional. They made you feel relaxed which allows you to enjoy. Great time!

I participated on September 26th. The weather was very nice.

It was an early morning, but the guide was very energetic, so it's better to prepare yourself for not being able to sleep on the bus (I slept like a log on the way back).

We were able to see a lot of dolphins, including baby dolphins, which was incredibly moving. It was my first time seeing them up close. At first, I wasn't used to snorkeling and swimming in the ocean, and I could barely keep up with the guide, but I gradually got the hang of it.

The guide would call out things like "Look down!" so I think it would be easy to spot the dolphins when they appear.

After seeing the dolphins, we swam in another location to see turtles. That place had crystal-clear water and many tropical fish, making it very beautiful.

I was told not to touch the turtles, but since they swam towards me, I was desperately trying to avoid them. I was moved to see a turtle taking a breath at the surface right in front of me.

While moving by boat, I felt lucky to encounter a pod of dolphins.

Regarding what to bring when participating, I think it's best to take only the essentials. Since water splashes into the boat, it's a good idea to keep your belongings in a waterproof bag.

Also, I recommend taking motion sickness medication (a few people felt unwell on the way back).

Of course, meeting the dolphins was amazing, but I was really glad I participated because I got to snorkel in such beautiful waters.

朝早かったですが、ガイドの人がとても元気いっぱいで、行きのバスの中で寝ることはできないと考えておいたほうが良いです(帰りは爆睡でした)。
イルカはたくさん見ることができました。赤ちゃんイルカもいてすごく感動しました。あんなに近くで見たのは初めてでした。最初はシュノーケルと海で泳ぐことになれておらず、ガイドの人についていくのが精いっぱいでしたが、段々と慣れてきました。
ガイドの方が「下みて～」などの声かけをしてくれるので、イルカが出現したら見ることは簡単だと思います。
イルカを見た後に、亀を見るために別の場所で泳ぎました。その場所は水も透き通っていて、熱帯魚もたくさんいてとてもきれいでした。
亀には触れないようにと言われましたが、亀が自分の方に泳いでくるので、よけるので必死でした。海面で息継ぎをする亀を、目の前でみられて感動しました。
ボートで移動中にも、イルカの群れに遭遇できて得をした気分でした。
参加するときの荷物についてですが、必要最低限のものを持って行ったほうがいいと思います。船の中に水しぶきが入ってくるので、防水の袋に入れておいたほうがいいです。　　　　
あと、酔い止めは飲んでおいた方が良いと思います(帰りの船で数名気分が悪くなっていたので）。
イルカに会えるのももちろんですが、きれいな海でシュノーケルができたので、参加して本当に良かったと思いました。

I had been hesitant because the price was high, but I'm glad I went for it. I was really healed by the service-oriented dolphin and the beautiful staff. The moment of interaction is brief, but I will never forget the unique texture of that dolphin's skin. As someone who gets nervous, I couldn't quite get the timing for the kiss right, but they let me try again, and the photos (for a fee) turned out beautifully. There was a lot of debris (possibly waste?) floating in the pool, so I tried not to think about it too much. It was chilly when my body got wet under the cloudy sky.

値段が高いのでずっと迷っていたが思い切って行ってよかったです。
サービス精神旺盛なイルカちゃんとキレイなお姉さんにとても癒されました。
触れ合えるのは一瞬ですがあのイルカ独特の肌触りは一生忘れません。
ビビりな私はキスのタイミングがうまく合わなかったけどやり直しさせてくれて写真（有料）も綺麗に撮れていました。プールはゴミ（排泄物？）がたくさん浮いていたのでなるべく気にしないようにしました。曇り空で体が濡れると寒かった。

The submarine scooter is a must try!! Bring motion sickness pills just in case, I thought I didn't need it but I didn't have any. Doesn't require you to know how to swim, the divers will be with you most of the time and watch you from a distance when you're settled in. Lots of fishes to see. Pictures are taken by the divers and available for purchase sent via email.

My husband and I went out on 9/29/15 ...we have done zip lining. ..a helicopter ride...my husband went parasailing. ...but nothing even slightly compared to the amazing adventure at bobs underwater scooter adventure . I am a big scarey cat while my husband is a dare devil...we both agree this was the best! Not scary except for the unease at first of not knowing what it will be like. Then there you are breathing regularly at the bottom of the ocean! We played with turtles hundred of fish...octopus (the handlerers... that are in scuba gear and accompany you and video your visit under the sea...found the octopus and played with them for us to see and touch) this is not a controlled area it is a spot they choose to stop the boat...so it's all just natural nature! I want to bring my whole family to Hawaii just to come here! GO! DON'T CONSIDER NOT DOING THIS!

Had an awesome adventure! Would highly recommend this excursion!

I participated on September 25th!
We were blessed with good weather and encountered a large pod of dolphins multiple times.
The waves weren't too high, making it relatively easy to swim.
The experience felt like being thrown into the ocean and then swimming to chase the dolphins! So, if you're not a strong swimmer, it might be best to stick closely to the instructor (there are several in the water as well).
Even for someone like me who can swim, I felt it might be physically challenging at times.
The boat rocked quite a bit, and water splashed, so it's better to bring only things that can get wet. Don't forget motion sickness medication.
I was worried about getting seasick, but the pleasant breeze and beautiful scenery made for a comfortable boat trip.
The instructors were very lively, and the secret catchphrase (Shitamite Shitamite! Koko Shitamite~!) and dance were very memorable.

It was a tour that both adults and children could enjoy from start to finish!
It was a moment to experience the beautiful ocean that is characteristic of Hawaii.

I definitely recommend bringing a waterproof camera!

天気にも恵まれイルカの大群に何度も出会えました。
波はそんなに高くなく、比較的泳ぎやすかったと思います。
海の中へ放り出されてイルカみつけたらそこへ泳いで追いかける！という感じなので、泳ぎが得意でない方インストラクターの方にピッタリついていた方がいいかも。
（海の中でも何名かいらっしゃいます）
泳げる私でさえ体力的に途中厳しいかも…と感じました。
船が大分揺れて水がはねるので、濡れても良い物だけをお持ちする方がいいですよ。酔い止めもお忘れなく。
船酔いが心配だった私ですが、気持ちの良い風と素敵な景色で快適な船旅でした。
インストラクターの方々は大変ノリの良い方たちで、秘密の合言葉(シタミテシタミテ！ココシタミテ〜！)やダンスはとても印象的です。

最初から最後まで大人も子供も楽しめるツアーでした！
海が綺麗なハワイらしい経験が出来たひとときです。

ぜひ防水カメラをお持ちになることをオススメします！

My first time in Hawaii, my first time snorkeling, my first time seeing wild dolphins—everything was a first, and I participated with a mix of excitement and anxiety. A bus came to pick us up right in front of the hotel, and it was about a one-hour ride to the ocean. During that time, our energetic guide shared many fun and interesting stories about Hawaii and the ecology of dolphins. Thanks to her, my sleepy body was fully awakened, and I was getting excited about meeting the dolphins!

Before I knew it, we arrived at the ocean. We quickly boarded the boat, got ready to jump into the water, and set off! Then, we were told that there were dolphins nearby, and we all jumped into the sea! With the signal to "look down!!!", I desperately looked below, and there they were!!! I could see the dolphins swimming beneath us!!! It was breathtaking!

Soon after, more dolphins appeared! We all jumped in again, and with the signal to dive, we saw even more dolphins swimming! I even spotted some smaller dolphins. I learned that baby dolphins can be seen during this season, and they were so small and cute, which moved me once again! Just as I wanted to see more dolphins, it was almost time to leave. As we were about to depart, a large group of dolphins swam right next to our boat! It felt like they had come back to say goodbye to us!!! Everyone was so excited! The guide was also amazed and said she had goosebumps. I was so moved that I almost cried.

Still wanting to meet more dolphins, we all said "Mahalo! Aloha!" to the dolphins and moved on to the next spot to meet the turtle professor. There, we were greeted by stunning scenery. Among the many beautiful fish swimming around, there he was!!! The turtle professor!!!! Swimming gracefully at his own pace, he truly embodied the essence of a professor!!! It was so cute to see him come up for air. Then, I noticed that four turtle professors had gathered together. In the transparent blue sea, the beautiful fish and the swimming turtle professors created such a stunning sight that I found myself lost in the beauty of it all, without a single thought in my mind. It was truly a magnificent view.

The time spent with the dolphins and the turtle professor was so enjoyable that it flew by, but I was really glad to have participated. I silently promised the dolphins and the turtle professor that I would come back to see them again. It became an unforgettable memory.

初めてのハワイ、初めてのシュノーケリング、初めての野生のイルカ、すべてが初めてで、最初はドキドキと不安いっぱいで参加しました。ホテルの前までバスが迎えに来てくれて、海まで約1時間の乗車でした。その間、元気いっぱいのガイドのお姉さんが、ハワイの話や、イルカの生態についてなど、楽しくて興味のある話をたくさん聞かせてくれました。そのおかげで、早朝でちょっと眠かった体が、すっかり目覚めて、これからイルカに会えるんだー！っとテンションが上がってきました。お話に夢中になってると、あっという間に海に到着。さっそく船に乗り込み、海へ飛び込む準備を済ませ、船は出発しました！
すると、すぐに！！イルカ先生がいるとのことで、みんなで海へ飛び込みました！「下見てー！！！」の合図で、必死に下を見ていると、、、来たー！！！イルカ先生達が泳いでいる姿が下の方に見えました！！！透き通ったブルーの中で、イルカ達が泳いでいきました！！！感動でした！
そのあともすぐにイルカ先生登場！！みんなで飛び込み、下見てー！！の合図で潜ると、またまたイルカ達が泳いでいる姿が見えました！！！少し小さいイルカも見えました。この時期は赤ちゃんイルカも見られるそうなので、小さくて可愛いなと、またまた感動しました！！！もっともっとイルカ先生に会いたいと思っていると、そろそろイルカ先生の時間は終了。海を出発しようとしていた時、なんと、イルカ先生の大群が、私達の船のすぐ横を通過していきました！まるで私達にお別れの挨拶をしに戻って来てくれたかのようでした！！！みんなで大興奮！！ガイドのお姉さんも、鳥肌が立ったと驚いていました。わたしも感動して涙が出そうになりました。まだまだイルカ先生と出会いたい気持ちを残したまま、イルカ先生達にみんなで「マハロー！アロハー！」とお別れをし、次は、カメ大教授へ会いに次のスポットへ移動。そこでも、素晴らしい景色が私達を待っていました。綺麗な魚達がたくさん泳いでいる中に、いました！！！カメ大教授！！！！優雅にマイペースに泳いでいる姿は、貫禄があり、まさに大教授でした！！！水面で息継ぎをする姿がとても可愛かったです。そして気づくと、なんと、カメ大教授が4匹集まって来ていました。透き通ったブルーの海に、綺麗な魚達と、カメ大教授の泳ぐ姿、とても美しくて、何も考えずに、その海の景色だけをずっとずっと見ていました。本当に素晴らしい景色でした。
楽しすぎて、あっという間のイルカ先生とカメ大教授の授業でしたが、本当に参加して良かったです。また会いに来るねと心の中でイルカ先生とカメ大教授に誓いました。一生忘れられない思い出になりました。

The pickup was on time, so there was no need to worry. We encountered a pod of dolphins and were able to swim with them for a long time. I think the sea was relatively calm, but there were many people who got seasick. Even if you think you'll be fine, motion sickness medication might be essential. Also, your belongings will definitely get wet. Therefore, your change of clothes and towels will also get wet. I recommend either using a waterproof bag or carrying a large vinyl bag that can hold your bag.

迎えは時間通りで、不安になることはありませんでした。
イルカの群れに遭い、ずっといっしょに泳ぐことができました。
比較的、穏やかな海だったと思うのですが、酔っている方がたくさんいました。
大丈夫だと思っても酔い止め薬は必須かもしれません。
それから、荷物は必ず濡れます。
ですから、着替えやバスタオルも濡れます。
防水加工がしてあるバッグにまとめるか、バッグを入れることのできる大きめのビニル袋の携帯をオススメします。

The underwater scooter allowed us to dive deep into the water, and it was so much fun to see beautiful tropical fish gathering right in front of us. We could also view swimming sea turtles from below, which offered a different kind of enjoyment compared to snorkeling.

I was surprised that the staff took photos and videos for us (which can be downloaded later for a fee online), and they were very attentive, skillfully guiding couples underwater and helping them hold hands.

There was also a female staff member who spoke Japanese, which was reassuring. It seemed like there was time for snorkeling as well, but we went by boat to a sandbar in a different location. The sandbar in Kaneohe was indeed amazing.

水中スクーターは水中深く入り、本当に綺麗な海の熱帯魚が目の前にすごく集まって来たのが楽しかったです。泳いでいる水カメも下から眺めることができ、シュノーケリングとは違った楽しさがありました。
びっくりしたのは、スタッフが写真と動画を撮ってくれたのですが（後でネット経由で有料でダウンロードできます）、カップルで参加した場合、二人を水中でうまく誘導し手を繋がせるなどサービス精神に満ちていました。
ちょうど日本語のできる女性スタッフもいて安心でした。シュノーケリングも時間があればできたようですが、私たちはボートで別の場所のサンドバーに行きました。
サンドーは、やはりカネオヘの方がすごいです。

The staff were awesome, casual enough so that everyone felt at ease but professional enough that we both felt safe, heaps of fun, would recommend to everyone.

It is a very special experience to see sharks that closely in the water. But you will get bored very soon since you'll see the same thing for the entire 20 mins.

Wife and I loved this tour. She was nervous going into it but once we got out there and she saw the other two groups go in prior to ours it helped to calm her nerves. The crew was great and very knowledgeable about the area and what we were seeing.

We felt very safe the entire time and thought the water was so blue and clear. Visibility in the cage was about 100ft in either direction.

Only thing I would suggest is to make sure you take something for Motion sickness prior to going out like we did. There were several on the boat who got sick several times while we were stationary next to the cage and a few others that got sick while in the cage.

It was a bucket list item for us and we are so happy we did it. We also got their video package which was $75 for a SD card recording of our time in the cage.

It was a fun program where we kissed dolphins, touched them, and swam together. I absolutely recommend it. It was the most enjoyable part of my stay in Hawaii.

I participated in the dolphin swimming tour for the fourth time this time. So far, I've enjoyed a 100% encounter rate. The Hawaiian crew on the boat is lively and makes it easy to connect with them. Next time, I think I will join the manta tour on the Big Island. Mahalo.

今回で４回目の天然イルカて泳ぐツアーに参加しました。現在の処100%の遭遇率で楽しませてもらっています。船のハワイアンのクルー達もノリノリで自然と打ち解けさせてくれます。次回はハワイ島のマンタツアーにも参加してみょうと思っています。mahalo

We participated in the 7 AM tour with transportation included as a couple. There was only one other Japanese couple besides us, and the rest were all foreigners.

When we arrived at the boarding area, we used the restroom on the hill nearby before getting on the boat. There are no restrooms or changing areas on the boat, so you have to change here. Also, before boarding, you need to take off your shoes and put them in a box, so it's better to wear sandals that you don't mind getting dirty.

The instructions on the boat are all in English, so if you can't understand English, you won't know what's being said at all. During our visit, there were no Japanese instructions available, but when entering the cage, they give you simple warnings in English, and they check your gear when you're wearing the snorkel, so I think you can still enjoy it safely even if you don't understand English.

We were divided into three groups of five, and when we arrived at the spot with the sharks, each group was called in turn to put on their snorkels and enter the cage.

I took motion sickness medication, but I ended up throwing up. After throwing up, I felt a bit better, and the sharks came closer (laughs). The boat rocked more after setting up the cage than during the movement. Even my husband, who usually doesn't get seasick, ended up throwing up. There were people who looked exhausted and others who casually threw up, so I think it's best to prepare for seasickness. Also, it's better to go on an empty stomach.

The staff were very friendly and kind, checking on us when we were feeling seasick and giving us tissues after we threw up.

You can see a few sharks from the boat, but when you're in the cage, there are about ten sharks, and it was very exciting! When they come close, you can see their eyes and body wounds clearly. The cage sways, so it's fun to curl up and float while watching. Some people were sticking to the bottom of the cage to take photos.

I was really moved to see the sharks, but the nausea was a bit tough, so I gave it four stars.

私たち以外に1組だけ日本人がいましたが、その他は外国人ばかりでした。

乗り場に付いたら、乗り場付近の丘の上でトイレをすませてから船に乗ります。船の上にはトイレも着替える場所もありませんので、ここで着替えるしかありません。また、船に乗る前に靴を脱いで1つの箱に入れるので、汚れてもいいサンダルを履いていった方がいいです。
船上で説明を受けますが、すべて英語なので英語が聞き取れない人は何を言っているか全くわかりません。私たちの時は日本語の説明書もありませんでしたが、ケージに入る時には簡単な英語で注意してくれるし、シュノーケル着用時もチェックしてくれるので、英語がわからなくてもそれなりに安全に楽しめると思います。
5人ずつの３グループに分けられ、サメのいるスポットに到着するとグループごとに順番に呼ばれ、シュノーケルを付けてケージに入ります。


酔い止め薬を飲んで行きましたが、結局吐きました。吐くと少し楽になりますし、サメも寄ってきます(笑)。移動中よりケージを設置した後の船の方が揺れが激しいです。この時に船酔いしにくい夫も吐いていました。ぐったりして寝ている人や、クールな顔でさらっと吐いている人もいたので、船酔いする覚悟で行った方がいいと思います。あと空腹状態で行った方がいいです。
スタッフの人は船酔い時に心配してくれたり、吐いた後にティッシュをくれたりと、とても気さくで親切でした。


船の上からも少しサメが見えますが、ケージの中に入ると10匹くらいいて、とても興奮しました！たまに近づいてくると目や体の傷までよく見えます。ケージが揺れるので揺れに合わせて丸まって浮きながら見ていると楽です。ケージの下に張り付いて写真撮っている人もいました。

サメを見ることができて本当に感動したのですが、やはり吐き気が少しつらかったので星4つにしました。

I've been on this tour many times. This early morning cruise did not have activities. Normally there is lei making, hula dancing and ukulele lessons.

Whales are hit or miss. I've seen some fantastic activity from this cruise!

Recommended for all, but be warned the morning cruise will not have the additional activities.

My mom and I are seasoned travelers to Hawaii. We enjoy whale watching but this was our first time on this Waikiki Whale Watch Sail.

Our driver picked us up on time and was courteous and professional.

We sailed on the Honi Olani. It is a 45 passenger boat but for our tour there were only a dozen or so guests. We were given safety instructions and then we headed out to search for whales!

Captain Chad seemed very experienced and knowledgeable about the humpback whales and their patterns. He knew how long they would be down and which direction they were headed.

We spotted 2 whales and stayed with them most of the tour. The whales dive down and then come back up every so often for air. We saw the other large whale watching boats but we were closer than them and able to turn quicker and get to the whales when they popped back up.

We also saw green sea turtles, spinner dolphins and flying fish.

The boat has bathrooms on board and snacks were provided. There was fresh orange and apple, chex mix and granola bars. There is a covered area in case of inclement weather. The drinks were free for sodas and $1 or $2 for alcohol.

The crew was great. Chad, Jacob and Chad were more than happy to talk to you about the beautiful Hawaiian Islands and all they have to offer.

Our tour lasted a few minutes longer than expected because we came upon the pod of spinner dolphins. Nobody on board had conflicting plans so we were able to prolong the tour a bit.

Upon arrival to Waikiki our drive was able to drop us at a different location to do some shopping! It wasn't far from our hotel yet it saved our tired feet and legs.

I do recommend this tour to others. It would be great for any age. There were senior and young children alike on our sail. The little ones enjoyed the nets in the front of the boat. And the seniors were able to sit in the covered area to rest. I'll definitely be going out on the boat again on my next visit to Waikiki.

Exactly what it said on the website. We had an amazing time, saw some amazing sharks and even got a DVD of us with the Sharks from one of the deck hands Dawn. Definitely worth every penny.
