The tour is for everybody. I think it'll be more species but it's a good one to go with children.

My husband and I took our 3 kids and we were quite impressed with how quickly we spotted the whales (we even saw dolphins!). It's safe and a great experience, I would definitely recommend it for families with young children.

Parking is convenient. Check in is across from boat. Prepare for standing and maybe even a little sea sick lol! Don't forget to bring your binoculars!

While we spent most of the time chasing the sunset vs. the whales, the experience was warm and included safe splashing and a beautiful environment. Highly recommended experience while you are visiting Haleiwa to experience the true beauty of Hawaii.

Enjoyed the crew and the experience. We were pushed in directions instead of us controlling the scooters and we would have liked to move it on our own. The experience was wonderful and we saw many fish and sea turtles. Thanks for a great trip

OK, so the idea of going to 'find' sharks as opposed to avoiding them at all costs can take a little getting used to. However once I'd gotten over that, I have to say this is one of the most exhilarating experiences I've had (and enjoyed) on the island.
There's two basic times that you can go out, Super early or Early, Yes that's right, Don't plan on a late night in the bar the night before trying to drum up Dutch courage because this boat leaves early and you want to get your sleep in.

After a leisurely 20-25 mins boat ride out (i think they said about 2 miles) to the dive site you arrive in an open water area, engines are cut and you pull up next to the cage. A quick chat from the crew, and two groups are selected A & B, This ensures you have maximum space in the cage and is a really cool idea.

We climbed in first, GoPro's on and ready to start shooting...

The cage is actually rather large and you definitely want to be up close to the bars hold on, and go down to get your first glimpse... I'm not going to say much more on what you'll see but I will say, This is a guaranteed sharks (plural, many lol) shark tank dive. They big, upclose and personal and you are totally safe in your secure housing...

You get ample time to take selfies, group shots, dive down again, hold the bottom of the cage etc as these amazing creatures swim all around you.

I'd forgot my wrist strap for my cam, No problem, The crew guy noticed as I was getting ready ad gave me a cool wrist-strap for it (thick rubber band!) Awesome Service.

The tour itself was really fun. The North Shore is famous for its high waves and surfing, so the ride to the destination was quite bumpy. Even I, who usually doesn't get seasick, felt a bit unwell. There were about 4 to 5 other people who also looked like they were feeling sick, and some were even vomiting. If you're joining the tour, don't forget to bring motion sickness medication.

ツアー自体はすごく楽しかったです。ノースショアはサーフィンで有名な高波のビーチなので、目的地まで向かう間はかなり揺れます。普段、船酔いしない私でも気分が悪くなりました。
自分以外にも４～５人気分の悪そうな方がいましたし、吐いている方もおられました。ツアーに参加される方は酔い止めをお忘れなく。

It was quite far, but I was able to see whales. I took photos before getting on the boat, and they were being distributed on the boat, but I wasn't sure if it was part of the service. I didn't receive any photos... However, it was great that there were photos of the whales taken by the staff with a telephoto lens available for purchase.

船に乗る前に写真を撮って、船で配ってましたが、サービスだったのでしょうか。
よくわからず、写真もらえず。。
スタッフの人が望遠レンズで撮ったクジラの写真が販売されていて、よかった。

I want to swim with dolphins someday. It's not just about feeling like I'm swimming with dolphins far out in the ocean; I want to touch them and make that dream come true at Sea Life Park Hawaii. The encounter happened on Christmas Day, and the scenery of the ocean on the way was stunning. My family was overwhelmed by the turtle squad inside the park. They are just so cute. Finally meeting the dolphins that I've been waiting for was amazing. The dolphins are incredibly adorable! The instructions for swimming with the dolphins were provided in both English and Japanese, so I was mentally prepared. The trainer, who was wearing a Boy's shirt, was also quite cute as she adjusted her shirt.

And then it was showtime! I didn't have to worry about drowning since I was wearing a floatation vest. The pool has deep areas, but even though I'm not particularly slim, I found myself floating effortlessly. It was quite challenging to keep my feet down. It seemed more like the trainer was the playful one rather than the dolphins; every gesture and movement of the dolphins was adorable. We all lined up to touch the dolphins' backs, bellies, and dorsal fins as they swam slowly, and this was also being recorded on video. Next, we took photos while holding the dolphins, followed by kisses with the dolphins for more memorable pictures. Then, I held onto the dorsal fin of a dolphin and swam together, and two dolphins pushed up on my legs, lifting me up. The program ended there, but thanks to the trainer's thoughtful arrangement, we got to play with the dolphins a little longer. I wanted to swim even more.

For food, they serve American-style corn dogs, and the drinks are American-sized. If you want, you can check and purchase photos and DVDs as souvenirs at the end.

Overall, it was a fun Christmas gift to touch and swim with the dolphins. There was also a dolphin show, making it a delightful paradise. I highly recommend it. Mahalo!

いつかイルカと泳いでみたい。海の遠くにイルカが居て一緒に泳いだ気になるんじゃなくて、イルカに触れて、一緒に泳ぎたいを実現できるのがここ　シーライフパーク・ハワイです。出会いはクリスマスの日、着いた先はシーライフパーク・ハワイ　道中海の景色も抜群です。うちの家族は園内に入りホヌ軍団に圧倒されました。とにかくかわいい。待ちに待ったイルカとの対面。またイルカたちがかわいいのナンの（笑）イルカと泳ぐ際の説明も英語、日本語の説明で心の準備OK！説明してくれたBoy'sシャツの裾を気にしているところがかわいいかった。そして本番！自分が泳げないとか、浮輪チョッキを着ているから溺れる心配無し。プール内は深いところもありますが、私も決して痩せているほうではありませんが、勝手に浮いてしまいます。足を鎮めることが大変なくらいでした。イルカがいたずら好きというよりも、トレーナーのお姉さんがいたずら好きなので、イルカの仕草、動き何もかもかわいい。イルカの背中、イルカのお腹、背びれとイルカがゆっくり泳いでいるところをみんな一列になって触るですけど、ここもビデオに撮られています。続いて、イルカを抱っこする形で写真撮影、続いてイルカとの接吻ここでも記念撮影、そしてイルカの背びれにつかまって一緒に泳ぐ、続いて、2頭のイルカが私の両足を１頭づつ押してくれて立ち上がっちゃうぐらい押してくれます。ここでプログラムは終わっちゃうんだけど、トレーナーさんの粋な計らいでイルカと少し戯れられる。もっともっと泳ぎたかった。
食事は、ここはアメリカ　アメリカンドック系を、飲み物アメリカンサイズを食して、最後に写真とDVDをチェックして欲しければそこで購入しお土産に出来ます。
とにかく、イルカと触れて泳げて楽しいクリスマスプレゼントになりました。
イルカのショーもあり楽しい楽園です。おススメします。mahalo!

It's a pool with dolphins, so I understand, but I was surprised at how dirty the water was. You stand on a platform in the water, but there wasn't a clear explanation of where the platform ends, and a father holding his daughter almost sank for a moment. However, the dolphins were cute.

イルカがいるプールなので仕方ないのですが、水が汚く驚きました。
水の中の台？に立つのですが、どこから台がないのかちゃんと説明がなく、娘を抱いた父が一瞬沈みかけました。
でも、イルカはかわいかったです。

We spent Christmas in Hawaii and went on this excursion and absolutely loved it!!! The crew was fabulous and we would do this excursion again!!! Saw a turtle and a shark and lots of other cool stuff!!! Great excursion to do 1st!!! Some folks may need a little dramimine for motion sickness, however, you don't even notice how far down you are, it's amazing!!!

The weather was nice, and I had high hopes, but unfortunately, I didn't get to see any whales. However, I enjoyed the views of Diamond Head and other sights from the sea. I was so focused on the direction where the photographer was aiming his camera, hoping to spot a whale, that I ended up feeling a bit seasick.

The lunch buffet might be a bit disappointing if you imagine it by Japanese standards; it felt more like a school cafeteria lunch. If you stay out on the deck trying to see whales, you might miss out on eating. Once you head back, the food will be cleared away, so it's better to go inside and eat at your convenience.

Even though they say there is a "Japanese guide," the person who picks you up and the one explaining about the whales both spoke English. There might have been someone who could speak Japanese somewhere, but you need to look at the photo materials on the boat to learn about the whales yourself.

If you don't see any whales, the tour is just a boat ride out to sea and back to the port, so whether you enjoy it or not really depends on luck.

天気も良く期待していましたが残念ながらクジラには会えませんでした。
しかし、海から見るダンヤモンドヘッドなどの景色は楽しめました。
カメラマンがカメラを構えている方向にクジラが出るのかと海面に目を見張っていたせいか、ちょっと船酔いしてしまいました。
ランチビュッフェは日本基準で想像するとちょっとがっかりかもしれません。学食のランチのような感じです。クジラを見ようとずっとデッキに出ていると食べ損ねてしまいます。帰路についたら片付けられてしまうので適当に中に入って食べたほうがいいです。
「日本語ガイド」といっても送迎の人も、クジラの説明の人も英語です。おそらくどこかに日本語ができる人がいたのかもしれません。自分で船内の写真資料を見てクジラのことを知る必要があります。
クジラが見られなければ港から沖に船で出て帰ってくるだけのツアーですので楽しめるかどうかは「運」次第です。

It wasn't that close, but I was able to see the whales' spouts several times. The staff were very nice, and when I said I didn't understand English, they explained everything in Japanese. Even if I hadn't seen the whales, just cruising in the waters of Hawaii was very pleasant.

クジラが見れなくてもハワイの海をクルージングしているだけでとても気持ち良かったです。

Unfortunately, we couldn't see any whales. While it's part of the luck of the draw, I wished there had been more entertaining activities to enjoy.

残念ながら、クジラは見ることができませんでした。これは時の運もあるのでしょうがないのですが、それ以外にもっと楽しませるエンターテイメントが欲しかった。

I was disappointed that I couldn't see any whales. The boat was quite rocky, and since the ride was long, I wouldn't recommend it for those who get motion sickness (I had hardly ever experienced seasickness, but I was completely affected this time). However, I did enjoy the scenery, so that was a positive aspect.

クジラが見れず残念だった。
船が揺れやすく、乗船時間が長いので、乗り物酔いをする人はおすすめできません（私は船酔いを殆どしたことがなかったのに、完全にやられましたから）。
景色は楽しめたのでその点は良かった。

Service and crew were great! Saw a couple humpback whales swimming from a distance. May have not been late enough in the season to see as much as expected.

I swam with wild dolphins! It was early in the morning and I was tired, but overall I think it was great.

First, we had an early pickup, and we were staying at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, but the pickup location was at Sheraton Waikiki. It was a bit far, and I was wondering about it, but it turned out to be a misunderstanding. That's a bit disappointing.

After getting on the bus and receiving explanations, the stories were interesting and got me excited despite the early hour! The driving was a bit rough, which was nerve-wracking, but funny.

Once we arrived, we took a bathroom break and quickly changed into our wetsuits while taking some photos before boarding the boat for equipment explanations and departure. The captain had a great personality, which added to the excitement.

Maybe we were lucky, but about 5 to 10 minutes after departure, we finally spotted the dolphins! I dove into the sea and got to see the dolphins up close. I was moved by the clarity and beauty of the ocean while enjoying snorkeling with the dolphins. They swam surprisingly fast, and we only had about 3 to 5 minutes to see them each time, but we got back on the boat, moved ahead of the dolphin pod, and dove in about three times before heading to a spot with sea turtles!

That spot also had high water clarity, which was very impressive. The sea turtles were quite relaxed and didn’t swim away even when we got close. Just remember, you must not touch them!

We were also able to hand-feed beautiful fish!

Even though it was Hawaii, since it was December, the wind was cold when we got out of the water and moved on the boat. I recommend bringing a beach towel or something light to wear.

Also, since it was early in the morning, the ABC store was closed, and I went without breakfast, but I ended up feeling sick on the way back due to hunger, the tightness of the life jacket, and the boat's rocking. So, I recommend having a proper breakfast and bringing motion sickness medication if you’re prone to it.

野生のイルカと泳いで来ました(^^)
朝早くで疲れたけど総評としては良かったと思います。
まず朝早くピックアップなのですが自分たちはシェラトンプリンセスカイウラニに泊まっていたのですが、ピックアップ場所はシェラトンワイキキになってました。ちょっと遠いし疑問に思っていたのですが後に判明したのですが勘違いでしたようです。ちょっと残念ですね(^^;
バスに乗ってから説明など受けてその話とかが面白く朝早いのにテンション上がりました!
多少運転荒いのでハラハラしますが笑
ついてトイレ休憩して早速ウェットに着替えて写真をとってもらいつつ船に乗り込み用具などの説明を受け出港です。
船長さんのいいキャラもあってワクワク(^^)
運がよかったのか、出港から5～10分くらいで念願のイルカ先生が!!!
海にダイブして生イルカ先生を拝みました(^-^)v
海の透明さと綺麗さに感動しつつ、イルカをシュノーケリングしながら堪能しました。
以外と泳ぎが早く、1回つかって見れる時間が3～5分程度でしたが、また船に乗り込みイルカの群れに先回りしてまたダイブしてっていうのを3回くらいして次はウミガメがいるポイントへ移動!
そのポイントもまた海の透明度が高く大変感動しました。
ウミガメは結構のんびりしていて近くでも逃げませんでした。決して触ってはダメですよ笑
餌をもらえて綺麗なお魚さんに手渡しで餌をあげることもできました！

ハワイといえど自分は12月だったので海から上がってボートで移動する際の風が寒かったですね
ビーチタオルや軽く羽織れるものをもっていくことをお勧めします。
それと朝はやかったのでABCもあいてなくて朝食抜きでいったのですが空腹とライフジャケットの腹部の締め付けとボートの揺れで帰り気分が悪くなりましたのでしっかり朝食をとって酔いやすいかたは酔い止めの持参をお勧めします。

I was able to see some whales in the distance. There was one staff member who could speak Japanese and they were very kind and helpful. I had a great time.

遠くのほうでなんとかクジラを見ることができました。スタッフも一人だけ日本語を話すことができ親切に対応してもらいました。非常に楽しかったです。

We spent two years researching our trip and when we saw this tour we were very intrigued. It was everything we had hoped for and more. The divers were friendly and accomodating we were never rushed. Fish and turtles are so close you can touch them great photo opportunities. Highly recommend

It was different from the image; I could barely see something that looked like a whale in the distance. I probably won't go again. It's a shame.

We had a great time snorkeling and seeing all the sealife. The crew was great too.

We had an absolutely amazing venture and would definitely recommend this for anyone upgrade to the premium sub it's worth the extra money

The season had just started, and due to bad weather with rain, we unfortunately didn't encounter any whales. However, a big rainbow appeared over the hotels at Waikiki Beach...! In a different way, we enjoyed the cruise.

Before disembarking, they gave us a "one more boarding ticket for this season." If you're really hoping to see whales, consider scheduling your trip early in your stay to allow for a re-challenge. (It seems that reboarding reservations can only be made by phone and are available in English.)

This time, the weather was rough, and the boat rocked quite a bit... It was easier to stand and hold onto the railing to manage the swaying rather than sitting down. The crew was very attentive to those who felt unwell.

シーズンに入ったばかり＆途中から雨という悪天候で、
肝心のクジラには出会えませんでしたが、
大きな虹がワイキキビーチのホテル群の上に・・・！
別の意味で、クルーズを楽しめました。

下船前に、「今シーズン中、もう一度乗船チケット」をくれました。
どうしてもクジラ・・・という場合は、滞在期間の早いうちにして、
再チャレンジできるスケジュールにしてみては？
（再乗船の予約は電話で、英語のみ対応のようです）

今回は天気が荒れ、船は結構揺れました・・・
座っているよりも、立って手すりにつかまり揺れに対応していた方がラクでした。
気分が悪くなった人には、クルーが丁寧に対応していましたよ。

I participated in whale watching with high expectations. The main reason I chose this was because it mentioned there would be Japanese commentary. However, when I actually participated, there was no Japanese commentary at all. It was incomprehensible; I searched for where the Japanese commentary was supposed to be in the catalog, but I couldn't find it.

期待してホエールウォッチングに参加しました。
選んだ最大の理由は、日本語解説があるとあったからです。
ところが、いざ参加してみますと、日本語解説一切なしでした。
意味不明、どこが日本語解説なのか、カタログなのか探しましたが、わかりませんでした。

It is a great experience doing the Underwater scooter. The guides were excellent making sure we are comfortable right from the beginning. It was a 1 to 1 guided adventure. The guides captured excellent pictures and videos of us individually and as as a couple with the beautiful fishes!. The plus thing is they do have all the snorkeling gear available for free so once you are done or you decide when your turn is you can do snorkeling.

Staff was nice and divers made everything feel very safe. Very cool experience to have fish eating out of your hands.

When we arrived at the port and were about to board, despite having signed up for a meal (showing the smartphone screen of the reservation), we were told that there was no such notification. After confirming with VELTRA over the phone at the counter, it turned out there was a communication error with the operating company after about 10 minutes of investigation. I'm glad it was resolved, but with the departure time approaching, I felt anxious in a foreign place where I struggled with the language. The whale watching was good; although the wind was strong, we were able to see the tails a few times. The meal was also delicious.

港に着いてさあ乗船となった時、食事つきで申し込んだにもかかわらず(申し込みのスマホの画面を提示)、そのような連絡が来てないとのこと。カウンターでVELTRAに電話で確認したところ、10分程調べてもらった結果、運航会社への連絡ミスとわかりました。解決したので良かったですが、出航時間も迫り、言葉の不自由な旅行先で不安になりました。ホエールウォッチングは風が強かったものの、何回か尾びれも見えました。食事も美味しかったです。

It was an early morning tour, and I was really worried that the water would be cold, but surprisingly, once I got in, it wasn't that cold at all. From the moment I saw the sharks, I was completely captivated (laughs). However, the boat was really rocky, so snorkeling didn't make much sense (laughs). I took motion sickness medicine, so I didn't feel seasick at all, and when we boarded, no one felt unwell. I was satisfied with the number of sharks we saw! However, because of the rocking, I couldn't take very nice photos~ ★ It’s expensive, but buying the DVD might be a good idea~. We did (laughs). Since it's something you can't do often, it's worth it (^^)/ I recommend it for those looking for excitement~ (＾◇＾).

朝早いツアーだったのと、水が冷たいんじゃないかとそれがすごく心配だったが、意外と入ってしまえばそこまで寒くもなく、もうシャークが見えた瞬間から夢中（笑）ただ揺れがすごいからシュノーケルはあまり意味なし（笑）酔い止め飲んでたからまったく船酔いもせずにうちらが乗ったときは誰一人として具合悪い人いなかった。かなりの数のシャーク見れて満足！ただやっぱり揺れがすごいから写真はあまりきれいにとれなかったな～★高いけどDVD買うのがいいかも～。うちらはかった（笑）なかなかできないことだからやる価値はあり(^^)/刺激が欲しい人にはおススメ～(＾◇＾)
