Turtles, Mai Tais, Catamaran ride, perfect outing

This was such a great tour! The catamaran ride is fun, the crew were professional and friendly, the snorkeling spot was perfect. All equipment was provided as well as instructions on where to snorkel and where to safely stay in view of the spotters. Saw 5 turtles hangin out on the reef and multiple schools of fish. Just off shore of Waikiki beach yet in open water 40ft deep. Great water clarity and lots of marine life to look at. On the ride back Mai Tais, beer or water are available and the captain rocked some reggae for the ride back to shore. Would definitely do this one again. Be sure to generously tip the crew they deserve it!

Great snorkel trip

We were a party of 7 (4 adults 3 kids) and all of us had a great time. They were on time and the crew was fantastic. They explained safety rules with a bit of humor and made it fun. They swam with us and guided us and pointed out fishes and turtles for us to see. Equipment was acceptable. We had our own snorkel gear, we only borrowed their life vests.

I had a great time! They were very Professional knowledgeable. They were very helpful and they showed us the sharks and they also caught fish. They also were very sanitary and explained everything really well. I had Jax and his coworker who took us on a tour and they were excellent. Would recommend going on for sure!

Great budget-friendly excursion on Oahu!

This was such a great excursion for my parents and I. It was beginner friendly and the crew is super nice, informative, and welcoming! The turtles were awesome to see up close and the drinks (!!) were a great bonus. Would definitely recommend them to any visitors who haven't gotten a chance to see the wildlife of the island.

The crew was friendly and helpful. Safety was clearly outlined. We saw lots of fish and two turtles. The kids (Ages 13 and 16) enjoyed jumping from the second deck, the water slide and the SUP boards. Would recommend for families with kids.

I think I came to Hawaii for this. This made me like Hawaii! The first thing I did after iClouding every video of dolphins was buying a shirts that says i love hawaii. I saw so many dolphins and knew that they are much more adorable than i have thought of. They are very curious that they circle around humans, and come really close to boat.

Awesome experience! The crew were all knowledgeable and helpful, and they made everything so seamless! We even saw sea turtles and were able to spend some extra time snorkeling around them! Only con is that the location may be hard to find. They're located at the very back of the parking lot, and check in is on the actual boat along the deck. Would 100% recommend!

I booked this snorkeling tour for our group of 21 months in advance. A couple days before our trip a representative of Hawaii Activities contacted me to let me know the time we booked was no longer an option offered by the company. They rebooked us with a different company for the same day, at an earlier time, without drinks :(, for the same price even though the Moana company charged more than the one we originally booked. I appreciate this so much because as we were boarding, we saw a disappointed family at another dock who had their trip canceled with not even a notification. The boat just never showed up and when they called the company they were told they had to cancel due to COVID. Things happen but a notice would have been nice. Luckily for us Hawaiian Activities/Veltra not only notified us, but made alternative arrangements for us. I would definitely use this company for bookings in the future.

Had a fantastic time on this Shark Tour. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to spend time with.
You will definitely see and experience sharks up close and personal.
Make sure you bring towels and water. Although the fee states water is included, we did not receive any.
I highly recommend this tour!

This was extremely fun!! Saw a lot of turtles, fishes. Turtles even swam under us and they would come up for air and be right beside you! Staff was amazing and super nice as well. I would recommend this activity! Drinks were good as well.

Not covid safe

While the tour itself was great- we did see dolphins and turtles- this company has no regard for covid protocols. They pick you up and I asked prior to see if they enforced masks on the bus- as that is the law. They assured me they were. When we got picked up the driver wasn’t wearing a mask! When I asked him he basically ignored me. Half the passengers weren’t. My family double masked but with no windows open it was very unsafe. If you want a safe experience- I would not pick this company.

I’m so glad we booked this experience on our trip! The employees who ran the boat did such an amazing job at making us feel so welcome, and had a nice sense of humor which was great. It was my parents first time snorkeling and they were super helpful in making sure everyone was ok. Would definitely recommend this experience to those who are interested! And we definitely saw turtles!
