One Ocean Diving Hawaii Shark Dive on Oahu & Snorkel Tour Experience

Amazing & above expectations!

This experience was AMAZING! At peak, I counted 12 sharks swimming around & below us. A few of the large ones came level with us to check us out! It was intimidating & inspiring! Plus, there just happened to be a large barracuda where we anchored who seemed as curious by us as we were of the sharks!
I'll admit that I was intimidated at the thought of being cageless. When I saw the barracuda at the nose of the ship I was all the more intimidated. But, this was why I did cage-free, i wanted to stomp this fear/intimidation.
We were in the water for a long time (I think 30 to 40min). At around 20min I decided to let go of the ship & just swim around a bit with the sharks & the barracuda! I cannot describe the full experience. It was amazing being in a "foreign land" (the ocean) with these incredible creatures!
I got my money's worth & more and I absolutely will do another cage-free dive next time I visit! I've found a new love with this experience!
Also, the three employees who led our escapade were great, interactive, & friendly.
I highly recommend people bring a go-pro & selfie stick. Also, let go of the boat, even if briefly.

Liked that we showed up later and they let us in, very happy and friendly crew the location was precise and fun definitely worth it do it again prices are a little high due the activities performed but it is what it is, lemonade water and granolas on board is a good compliment, tourist couples and anyone will enjoy this trip.

Haleiwa Shark Tours - Best Shark Cage Diving in Hawaii with Local Expert Guides

So worth it

We flew from the UK for this. It was so easy and fun!
Make sure to book - you will not be scared. It was safe and the staff were so nice. Life changing!
Only 10 mins to get to the cage then we spent such a good amount of time in the cage. Do it!!!

We had a great time. Staff was helpful and kind. Waves were choppy but didn't stop us from getting it done!
When you get to the Duke statue look for the rainbow umbrella on the beach. The catamaran is tied up in the water waiting for you. The sail was not up so didn't see the rainbow sail on the catamaran. Check in with the folks at the umbrella and wait patiently for the late comers. We had approx 25 people on our tour and it was just right. Not over crowded but not spacious either.
They took us out about 15 mins off Waikiki shore to a place called Turtle Canyon. There were several other boats and craft out there doing the same thing. But it did not interfere with us.
We saw plenty of fish and 1 turtle. Fun was had by all. For the price you can't beat this tour. I am a frequent visitor to Oahu and would bring more friends on this tour again. Coming back next year with a different group and will suggest it again for them. Great for beginners and intermediate snorkelers.

Not worth it !

The boat ride was very rough, we barely had 15 minutes in the water. The water was really blur and we saw almost nothing.
Unfortunately the drink were not good as well, the mai tai was only ice and juice … not recommended!

Shark Diving Hawaii - Cageless Pelagic Snorkel Tour with FREE Photos & Videos

This tour was amazing! The crew and captain was very knowledgeable, extremely nice and friendly, and funny. The Captain did all he could do to attract the sharks for us and the safety divers made sure we felt safe in the water and had everything we needed. It was a little choppy, but that part was out of their control, so I'm good with it! Overall, 10 out of 10!!

2nd time being in hawaii and haven’t gone snorkeling until now. The experience was very exciting especially seeing the fishes and sea turtles. The life guards and the kids were very helpful ! Such a fun couple of hours spent at waikiki beach. I decided to buy my own snorkel gear for sanitary reasons. I want to try it again some time when i get the opportunity too.

This was an awesome experience! I saw so many turtles, which was my only goal in Hawaii. I also saw dolphins in a distance. The guys on the boat were awesome! One of the divers dove down with my camera and took pictures for me of the turtles up close with a respectful distance.

I, sadly, also got seasick on the boat. I had no idea I would get that sick. The hosts were so helpful without making me feel embarrassed. They kept checking on me, bringing me water and lavender oil which helped a lot for the sickness.

I also loved that they were respectful of the turtles as you will get fined if you touch a turtle in Hawaii. They made us keep our distance from the turtles which I really respect and love about Hawaiin culture. They actually care about the Earth and animals.

Amazing snorkeling experience!

We saw lots of turtles on this trip. The staff was great and welcoming to our young kiddos (4, 6, and 7yrs old). We enjoyed the drinks after snorkeling and would do it again. We saw tons of turtles ans tropical fish the whole time we were snorkeling. I would definitely recommend them to anyone going to Waikiki.

We had a great time with the Manu Kai crew! Our snorkeling adventure was fun and exciting, the process was easy and carefree. We got to see about 4-6 turtles at turtle canyon also tons of fish and had plenty of time to snorkel. The crew is very knowledgeable and accommodating, offering drinks and taking pictures, they also are very concerned with safety and we always felt safe aboard the boat. Picked up right on the beach. We drove in from north shore and parked in the garage across the street. The boat ride was 10ish minutes to the canyon. Had at least a full hour in the water. There were 7 or 8 turtles right there the whole time. Tons of fish. A few minutes after we got there a few other tours showed up and there were a lot more people but still enough space for all tours. The crew was awesome. This was the best tour we booked this week.

Our family enjoyed the boat ride. It was about 15 min away. The staff was wonderful. I was able to see only two turtles and some fish. That was very cool. The current was a bit strong at times. Glad the staff helped me with their surf boards.
My three kids ages: 4,5,8, had a hard time swimming because the current was a bit strong so they were only in the water for about 5 minutes. The goggles & snorkel equipment were too big for the toddlers. Next time we will pack ours. We did pack the vests for the kids but they do have some available.
They did see some turtles over the surface. Great weather. We did the 2 pm tour. Make sure to pack some nausea medicine, some folks felt very sick.
We liked being able to bring our own food & drinks.

The crew were friendly, but the photographer was no good. Don’t purchase the pictures. They are not worth it. She basically only took pictures of u on the boat, which u can also do with your own camera. When it’s time to go under water, the photographer was too busy snorkeling herself. We had to chase her down for some pictures, but it came out super blurry. At the end when the pictures package were emailed to us, it consists many Google under water sea life images. I’d recommend u bring ur own phone with waterproof pouch, the pictures will be so much better.

Staff (Jay Jay) was taking an inappropriate video

We were having a great time on vacation and were looking forward to snorkeling and enjoying some drinks. The staff (specifically jay jay and Noah) were being very unprofessional. They weren’t treating us as if we were paying customers. At first we tried to excuse it as they were being goofy. Then we heard Noah say, “there’s jay jay back at it again,” and he had his phone out recording a video directed towards my girlfriends butt as she was trying to snorkel. This immediately made us feel uncomfortable. We confronted jay jay about it afterwards and he said he was filming Noah but that obviously felt like a lie. This unprofessional behavior brought a burden and discomfort to our vacation. We ended up not drinking as we both felt uncomfortable. We would like to be refunded.

Phenomenal, Once in a Lifetime Experience with the Sharks!

A heartfelt welcoming by the family team! Loved that they are down to earth, invoke conversation with you, dead serious about your safety and constantly staying vigil of your swim out with the sharks. They constantly checked in with you to see how you’re doing from riding to from on the boat, to swimming in the open ocean. It was great to see the sharks get up close to you to make you a bit alert but nothing I could say was dangerous and a close encounter. I will come back to them for sure!! Island view Shark Dive Tour will be the place I’ll be recommending others to go try. Thank you team for a spectacular experience for my son and I.

Saw lots of turtles and fish! Boat was clean, safe and well staffed. Bring a hat and lots of sunscreen. Crew of 5 and it was easy to get equipment on and ready. Our group had about 33 which was a lot - made for close quarters at times and a line at the stairs. Crew was quiet and all business … they were likely sick of tourists at this point. Beautiful pictures and scenery. Really nice catamaran.
