Great Boat & Crew….BUT.

Had a great time. BEST BOAT AND CREW I’VE HAD! Crew was fun, instructional and well-prepared. Handled us in an AWESOME manner with Aloha. The “big let down” was the sheer number of the other boats trying to come into the same small area. There were 7 other boats very close to us. I kept being bumped into by swimmers from other boats. It’s freaking ridiculous! And I know there’s nothing you guys can do to control that so I can’t hold it against you. But it would be nice if the tourism board or the county did some thing to limit it. Especially when your boat has been doing this much longer than the others.

I have waited my whole life to go to Hawaii. It was well worth the wait and a huge part of that is because of Manu Kai Waikiki Snorkel with Turtles Cruise. It was amazing!
The crew was professional, fun, and awesome. They made us all feel safe.
Next time I do this cruise I will bring my own snorkeling equipment. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer. The best part of this was being able to do this with my beautiful family. We all had such a great time and we look forward to our next visit to Hawaii to do it again.

I strongly recommend Manu Kai Waikiki Snorkel with the Turtles with Beers and Cocktails. You will be happy you did it. Oh yeah, the Turtles were magical it made me even more in love with Hawaii. I haven't been able to stop talking about it.

Overall we enjoyed this adventure.
-The staff was very good. They were both informative and entertaining.
- We went on a very windy day, but they managed the ocean well and got us to our destination.
- We managed to see a couple of nice sized Sharks while we were out. The cage was very secure and you had no feelings of not being safe.
- I had an AMAZING time, but my husband, who can't handle the sea travel, got sick.

Had a good time and would definitely recommend.

Incredible, fun experience worth doing every time I visit Oahu!

I booked this as a spontaneous adventure for my parents and siblings first time visiting Oahu. None of us are super outdoorsy people (I don't even know how to swim) but we had a blast with this experience. The crew was fun, funny, knowledgeable and helpful. There was a lot of nervousness and anxiety with an experience like this but I felt at ease with them with their experience at sea and knowledge of the sharks we encountered. I loved that they loved what they do. I loved that we all shared the same respect and awe for the sharks.

We were fortunate enough to see 2 tiger sharks and dolphins on the way back!! Even my mom who was brought along as just an observer had an incredible experience on the boat ride and took some awesome pics! I wish I had prior experience working with snorkeling gear and learning breathing techniques to stay down longer to spend more time seeing the beautiful tiger sharks we saw. Next time, because there for sure will be, I'll be ready to handle the currents, my breathing techniques, and will bring my own GoPro! Can't wait for next time! Thank you to the amazing Hawaii Shark Encounters crew!

We are retired and this was a bucket list item. This was fun for any age an experience you take with you forever.
We made adventure friends and have pictures to share with our grandkids.
I highly recommend this for families with kids. A wonderful way to start a new appreciation for the ocean.

In Honolulu, where the COVID-19 situation is improving, I felt there were still few Japanese tourists. Nevertheless, I participated alone this time. We moved towards Ko Olina and boarded a lovely boat from the harbor. Without any rocking, we encountered a pod of dolphins after about 20 minutes. Then we moved to a snorkeling spot and had an encounter with a sea turtle. After returning to the boat, I enjoyed some drinks and lunch, even though I was alone. A few people, including the captain, spoke Japanese, which was considerate for me as a solo traveler. Since there are few Japanese tourists, it might be understandable, but I think the fast-paced English explanations would be quite challenging without strong language skills. If possible, I would have appreciated it if printed translations of the explanations in Japanese were provided. Overall, it was a satisfying tour.

My family and I had a blast on our snorkel trip. This was our first time doing anything like this and it was amazing. We were able to see lots of fishes and turtles. The water was so clear that it made it so easy to spot fish. The captain and his crew were very professional and helpful. We had a great group of families with us and made the trip that much better. On another note we were able to see one of the crew members catch a fish on our trip. Fun time. Recommend for everyone to try.

Is there a submarine experience in Japan? The wrecks of ships and airplanes were incredibly impressive, and I was able to see sea turtles, which was wonderful! Perhaps due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no Japanese guide, and I got a bit lost along the way, but it turned out to be a very valuable experience!

I couldn't swim with the dolphins. I could only watch them swimming from the boat. I was really disappointed because I joined thinking I would be able to swim with them.

The website mentioned dolphin watching, but it was only on the top page, and the wording on other pages was ambiguous, leading me to believe I would be swimming close to the dolphins, but instead, I just watched them from the boat for a few minutes.

There are still videos on YouTube showing people swimming with dolphins, which feels misleading, like a promotional ad.

The snorkeling afterward had no corals or tropical fish at all; what were we supposed to see in such a barren sea? I was told by the crew that we would see turtles, but there were none. Other guests quickly got out of the water and seemed bored on the boat.

The only fun part was the slide, but paying 20,000 yen per person for this experience is way too high and not worth it. I've participated in various tours before, but this was the least satisfying and the most expensive.

The lunch was not tasty either. The optional photos, which are also quite expensive, are definitely not worth it. The pictures we took ourselves were much better, and since we couldn't swim with the fish, turtles, or dolphins, we ended up with photos of just floating in the sea or sitting on the boat.

I absolutely do not recommend this tour. I even wonder if they set such high prices because they are struggling with fewer customers. I regret not choosing a different tour.

唯一滑り台だけが面白かったですが、これで1人２万円の料金は高すぎて割に合わない。今まで色々なツアーに参加しましたが1番満足度が低く、高額でした。
お弁当も美味しくない。オプションで付けられる、これまた高額な写真は絶対に付けない方がいい。自分達で撮った方がよっぽど良い写真ばかりで、魚も亀もイルカとも泳げないので、ただ海に浮いてるだけ、船に座ってるだけの写真です。
こちらのツアー絶対にオススメしません。
客が少なくなり、経営厳しいからなのか、こんなに内容と見合っていない高額な金額設定にしているのではないかとさえ思います。違うツアーにすれば良かったと後悔です。

The crew ensured everyone stayed safe while in the water which helped us relax knowing they were there if any of us needed a little help. We also loved the Hawaiian traditions included. The COVID-19 measures were such that only the staff were wearing masks outdoors, but since online reservations were required and there was likely a limit on the number of visitors, the park was not too crowded, naturally avoiding the three Cs (closed spaces, crowded places, close-contact settings). Alcohol disinfectant gel was installed throughout the park, and it was available for use whenever needed. The food court had tables spaced apart, which was reassuring, and I enjoyed a delicious American-style lunch at Naked Dog with self-service ketchup, mustard, and relish (chopped pickles).

For the main event, the Dolphin Encounter, my 9-year-old son participated alone while I filmed from outside the enclosure. He had no trouble with English, so it wasn't necessary, but a kind Japanese-American staff member offered to provide translation if needed, so I believe those who are anxious about their English can participate without any issues. Commemorative photos with the dolphins were available for purchase in two sets of four photos, with one photo costing $35, and for $65, you could get two large prints, two small prints, and all the digital data included. The ticket I purchased included one photo ($35 value), so I paid the additional $30 to get the package that included all the data. It turned out that I needed to have received a photo coupon at the entrance, which I hadn't, and I was told to go get it. However, the aforementioned kind staff member said, "Don't worry, I'll go get it," and promptly returned from the entrance with the coupon, which was a great help. I hope that kind staff member continues to work there for the benefit of future Japanese tourists visiting Sea Life Park.

I entered the giant birdcage with no expectations, but feeding the colorful birds turned out to be unexpectedly fun. The staff gave me handmade feeding sticks, and when I held the stick horizontally, the birds, accustomed to people, would hop on to eat. Even someone like me, who isn't particularly fond of birds, found it so enjoyable that bird lovers might not want to leave.

メインイベントのドルフィンエンカウンターは9歳の息子1人で参加し親は柵の外でビデオを撮っていました。息子は英語に不自由しなかった為不要でしたが日系人の親切な男性の係の方が必要ならば通訳をと申し出て下さいましたので、英語に不安のある方でも問題なく参加できると思います。イルカとの記念写真は2カット計4枚が購入可能で、1枚だけだと$35、$65払うとプリント大2小2枚+データが全て含まれたパッケージでした。今回購入したチケットには写真1枚($35相当)分が含まれていたので、差額分$30を払ってデータも全部含まれるパッケージを購入しました。その際どうやら入園時に入口で写真クーポンとやらをもらっていなければならなかったそうなのですがもらっておらず取りに行ってと言われましたが、前述の親切な日系係員の方が『Don't worry I'll go get it』と颯爽と園内を入口まで戻ってクーポンを取ってきて下さり大変助かりました。今後シーライフパークを訪れる日本人観光客の為にもあの親切な係の方が長く働き続けてくれる事を祈ります。

全然期待していないで入った、巨大な鳥籠内でカラフルな鳥に餌をあげたのが予想外に楽しかったです。手作りの餌棒を係の方がくれ、その棒を横にして持つと人に慣れた鳥が飛び乗って餌を食べに来ます。特に鳥好きではない私でもあんなに楽しかったので鳥好きの方は出られなくなるかもしれません。

First, the prior guidance about the location of the check-in counter was poor. I entered the address into Google, but there was no counter there. I asked a nearby fisherman, who told me it was not there but over there. However, I had a hard time finding the counter with the name of the activity organizer. Just when I was about to ask where the organizer's location was, the lady at the counter called my name, and I finally arrived.

As for the activity itself, it was different from what I expected. The snorkeling in the rough waves had very little to see underwater; aside from a sea turtle, there were only two types of fish that appeared alternately, so there were hardly any fish at all. The water was murky, and I couldn't see even a meter ahead. The water slide was only worth doing once. On the water trampoline, I couldn't really bounce; I just lay there sunbathing. It felt nice, and I ended up falling asleep, which was the most luxurious part of the experience. While I think it was good to have had a unique experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

Haleiwa Shark Tours - Best Shark Cage Diving in Hawaii with Local Expert Guides

The crew, Alexis, Erin, etc were great in making my family comfortable. The water can get choppy in the cage so you might get some seasickness afterwards. I highly recommend this activity and especially this company. Mahalo!!!!
