The staff were all high-energy and friendly! There were so many handsome guys, which made it worth participating just for that. (laughs) On the day of the tour, the sea was rough, and it took a while to find the dolphins, but I was moved to be able to swim with them. However, since we had to jump off the boat into the open sea, it was a bit tough for someone like me who isn't a strong swimmer.

If I could give this cruise more than five starts I would!! This Whale watching cruise was the highlight of my visit to Oahu! The crew Josh, Julia and Jacob were outstanding! The perfect hosts! We witnessed several whale sightings and the crew was very informative about the whales, answering every and all of the guests questions. The catamaran we sailed on was very well kept and we felt safe on our ride out into the Ocean, we traveled at low speeds making the ride very pleasurable. I recommend this tour above any whale watching tour in Oahu, you will not be disappointed! Thank you again to Josh, Julia and Jacob you all were amazing!!!

However, I felt reassured by the onboard lunch and the explanations about the whales, as well as the guidance from our tour guide, who had been an English teacher in Fukui Prefecture. So, did we see any whales? Yes, we saw a lot!

It was exactly as I imagined seeing the whales. I was able to see them spouting water, diving with their backs showing, and their tails. The boat was anchored at the whale watching point, so the kids got a bit bored along the way. Since it was just a little extra to add breakfast when ordering a juice, I thought it might be nice to book the breakfast plan next time.

On Monday, January 5, 2015 my husband, son, and I went on the Whale Watch Cruise out of the Haleiwa Harbor. It was very early in the season and we did not see any whales which was disappointing, but also kind of expected when you are relying on creatures of nature as they are never predictable. The boat ride on the catamaran was very enjoyable as we cruised parallel to the shoreline down toward Pipeline and back to the Harbor. The coastline is absolutely beautiful and to see it from the ocean was breathtaking. However, the disappointing part was the lack of interaction and education from our crew. The captain done a nice job explaining where the drinks and life vest were and the first mate made sure everyone that want a drink had it just shortly after leaving the dock that was about all the interaction we had. They did stop 1 time and put the sonar on the speaker and mentioned that they didn't hear any whales in the area but that didn't mean we couldn't still see some. There was nothing to educate us main landers about whales and whale watching. Like where to look or how to spot a whale. How many come in during a season and how long each whale stays. Just some basic knowledge about whales for us Hallies would have been nice.

After taking a bus to the coast and boarding a boat, just three minutes later, we were lucky enough to encounter a pod of dolphins! I was really happy because I had heard that sometimes you have to search for wild dolphins. The guides were also very enthusiastic and made the experience so much fun!

Every time we come, the whole family feels rejuvenated! Seeing my son, who looked so happy after kissing a dolphin, made me really glad I brought him here. This place, where you can also meet Wolfin (a half dolphin, half whale), is a power spot.

it was a great day, the boat was really nice, we sat up the front with our legs dangling off the boat. we had two snorkel spots, both great, the water was a little murky but still saw a lot of pretty fish and some turtles. good equipment, nice friendly staff. the lunch was good. I have also been snorkelling at Waikiki but this was far superior. good eqipment, great day, highly recommend.

They prepared us by saying its early in the season you may not see anything, we did - a group of whales which we followed around. We didn't see a full breach but you can't have it all! Its exciting, you will be some distance from the whales but there's still a thrill when you catch sight of them. Good value. I'm glad we just did the tour and not the buffet - not sure I would bother with that.

I was hoping to see the whales swimming, but it seems it was still too early for that season, and all I could see was the tail of a whale swimming in the distance. I understand it's nature, so there's not much I can do about it, but I really wished I could have seen them up close.

For breakfast, soy sauce was provided, which made us feel that consideration was given to Japanese guests. During our last visit to Hawaii, I heard that whales can be seen in January, so I signed up and was able to see live whales. I was moved by the large tail of the mother whale and the small tail of the baby whale. Next time, I plan to bring binoculars to enjoy the experience even more!

We had a wonderful sailing adventure.The passenger on the boat was full, about 19 people, including me and my brother. As soon as we left the harbour, the sails were up, and we enjoyed 2+ hours of truly amazing sunset sailing. It was really fun to watch the whales for the first time! We had a perfect day for sailing with a very nice breeze that kept us sailing magnificently and a glorious sunset. We sat at the front of the catamaran (which is beautiful and big) where we had great views and got splashed by water, it was just really fun. Once we spotted a whale, they headed to it and we were able to follow it for a good length of time. Very cool. Overall, it was a great excursion for us. Warning - the bulk of the time is spent leisurely motoring the seas so relax and enjoy getting away from the city!

I participated in November. After confirming the reservation, I was contacted about changing the date due to a boat inspection or upgrading to a university for free. Since my child is only 4 years old, I hesitated about the change to the university, but since changing the date was not possible, I reluctantly decided to switch to the university and participate. As a result, it was a great decision. It was my husband who took him, and contrary to my worries, he came back overjoyed. Even now, after some time has passed, he often talks about wanting to go again and says it was the most fun he’s ever had before bed. It was enjoyable to swim, and above all, safety was prioritized. The fish points were amazing, and at $30, I thought the price was quite reasonable. The sharks seemed to be well-fed, as they only attacked the cage a few times, but for a fifth-grade boy, it was just the right amount of excitement.

I was able to see whales. Although I couldn't see the whole whale, as they were mostly spouting water or just showing their tails, I was glad to see them multiple times during the cruise. The food was also delicious. There were hardly any Japanese passengers, and the detailed explanations were only in English, but there were Japanese menus and announcements, so it was manageable.

At first, I was worried about whether I would be able to see anything, but I encountered a family of whales and was able to see them spouting multiple times while staying alongside them. I didn't get too seasick and had a great time. A tip for not missing the whales is to stay close to the naturalist! The view of the buildings in Honolulu from the sea is also very beautiful. ☻

The pickup bus was quite late. I understand that it's the same for people from other countries, but there was no explanation in English, only in their language, and they couldn't speak Japanese. Inside the submarine, the chatter of those people was loud, and I couldn't enjoy it much. Additionally, the weather conditions were bad, the water was murky, and there were hardly any fish, so honestly, I felt like I wanted a refund. It's disappointing. I hope for a better experience next time.

I wanted to make a change the day before, and even though I left a voicemail, there was no response, and the service was terrible. In the end, I was redirected to a different tour and had to participate in that one, and I'm not sure if it was worth what I paid.

Yesturday we had a great adventure!
When my husbund and I went to this trip I thought we will see one or two whales very far away. But thanks Dave and his wonderful crew we saw so many things! We saw dolphins, turtles, fishes and whales of course. There were several points where we saw them. One of the whales jumped out the water many times and it was amasing.
It was like we saw Discovery channal but we saw this with our own eyes. We took so many beautiful pictures! The crew was very polite and nice to everybody. They came to us and other tourists and told us about whales habits, it was really useful and interesting.
