We went to this Legends show November 2013 and loved it so much we had to see it again. After a very bountiful dinner buffet with plenty of variety and a traditional Hawaiian luau, you get to watch a fantastic live concert that goes through a journey of Music emphasis on Hawaiian artists. Wonderful tribute artists perform and accompanied by terrific dancing. Then as a bonus a fantastic fire dancer is added to it all. Just great entertainment all round and you could tell the crowd just loved it. Highly recommend this show.

We made a reservation for the last day of our honeymoon! The food was three-star quality and had a satisfying volume—so much that we ended up leaving some behind. It was a day when we could see the fireworks from Hilton, so we reserved a window-side table, but other guests gathered on the deck and completely blocked our view, so we had to move to the deck as well. That was a bit disappointing.

We chose a course with champagne and cake, but since the whole cake had to be taken home, it was a shame we couldn't finish it when we got back. It might be better not to have it on the last day.

Sunset dinner cruise. I experienced it as a buffet. The food was about what I expected. There seemed to be fewer Japanese people at the buffet. If you're going with a large group, a buffet is great, but if it's just two people, a course meal might have been better... I spent some time on deck after the meal. It was nice to see the beautiful sunset and Waikiki from the sea.

I went on a company trip, and dining while watching the show was simply enjoyable. I've participated in 5-star shows before, but the 3-star shows are fun no matter how many times you see them. I added the night view from Tantalus Lookout as an option when signing up, and while I knew that it couldn't be combined with the round-trip limousine, I was surprised to find that instead of the limousine for our return, we were crammed into a van with a group of six. When I asked the local tour company, they told me that there was never a limousine from the beginning, so I will request that they change the wording when signing up. At first, I felt like there was a mistake or that I had been deceived. The sunset cruise was a 5-star experience.

I chose the cheapest buffet style and was satisfied. Unfortunately, due to the weather, I couldn't see the sunset, but the night view of Honolulu from the sea was amazing. Dinner is divided into courses, and hula dancing and events take place on each floor. You can go to the 4th-floor observation deck whenever you want. The wind is strong, so women in mini skirts might feel like Marilyn Monroe. There was no dress code, so casual attire was perfectly fine.

I participated in the most affordable plan (buffet). Although I couldn't experience the captain's hospitality, the staff in charge worked hard to entertain us, and their effort truly touched my heart. From start to finish, they provided continuous entertainment, making the two hours from boarding to disembarking enjoyable. I was impressed by their spirit of service.

I declined the photo service (two-shot) when it seemed like a sale, but they graciously backed off. I was prepared to be asked for a tip when disembarking, but there was none, and I left without making any additional payment, which made me feel a bit embarrassed. In the end, I only paid for the initial ticket.

I wished I could have had more roast beef, but I got full, which was a bit disappointing. The husband of the newlywed couple at the next table was an active amateur rugby player, and the amount he ate was incredible. The additional roast beef he received looked like about 400 grams, and I was impressed by the chef's generosity in serving it.

I was worried about the cloudy sky and the sunset scene, but as you can see, the clouds parted just for that moment, allowing us to experience a moving scene. (It's a matter of usual mindfulness.) I imagined the showtime of a wealthy group beyond the wall, but whether to care or not is a personal issue.

I was able to enjoy it at 120% in terms of cost-effectiveness. We are a couple in our late sixties.

曇り空で、日没のシーンを心配しましたけれど、ごらんのように、その瞬間だけ雲が切れまして、感動のシーンを体験できました。（普段の心がけの問題です）
壁越しに、リッチなグループのショウタイムの様子が想像されましたけれど、気にするしないは本人の問題です。
私は、割り切って、費用対効果で言えば120％楽しませていただきました。

I planned this trip to Hawaii to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday. It was a family trip for four, but since we don't know when we will all be able to come to Hawaii together again, I booked a dinner cruise to make lasting memories.

The course included all-you-can-eat steak and crab from One Star, and it was quite delicious, leaving us all full.

The waves weren't too high that day, but I felt a bit nauseous as soon as we boarded, so I think it's better for anyone, even those who are confident they won't get seasick, to take motion sickness medication. I tend to get motion sickness quickly, so I took some beforehand and was fine, but my sister looked like she might get seasick during the cruise, which made me anxious.

During the meal, we were lucky enough to see a whale and a rainbow, which made us really happy. There were also singing and dancing performances, and by that time, my family and I were able to enjoy our time together, and the nausea faded away, which was great. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset, but we did get to see the fireworks at the Hilton on Friday.

As others have mentioned, the air conditioning on the boat is very strong, so I recommend bringing a jacket.

I don't think a dinner cruise is something you do often, but I believe it's a wonderful experience to try at least once.

そんなに、波が高い日ということはなかったのですが、乗船してすぐに気持ち悪くなりそうだったので、自分は酔わない！と自信がある人でも酔い止めは服用したほうがいいと思います。
わたしはすぐに乗り物酔いするので、事前に服用していて大丈夫でしたが、姉が途中船酔いしそうだったので、見ているこっちもハラハラしました。
食事の途中で、奇跡的にクジラをみれたり、虹が見れたりと、ラッキーが続いて嬉しかったです。
歌やダンスのパフォーマンスもあり、その頃にはわたしも家族も楽しい時間を集中して過ごすことができて、気持ち悪さも消えてしまってよかったです。
残念ながらサンセットを見ることはできませんでしたが、金曜日のヒルトンの花火はみることができました。

他の方も書かれている通り、船内はとても空調が効いていて寒く感じるので、上着は必ず持って行くことをオススメします。

ディナークルーズ自体は何度も行くものではないと思いますが、一回は経験してみるのはすごくいいと思います。

This was my 4th time here but 1st time for my girlfriend. Just as entertaining the 4th time as it was the first. Very educational and beautiful at the same time. My package included the Luau and that was good too. Not like the other ones I've been to but still was good. The evening show was excellent and very well performed. I highly recommend going to the Polynesian Culture Center to everyone who comes to Hawaii.

I attended a wedding in Hawaii and participated in my parents' last night together. There was some time before departure, but perhaps due to the fatigue from the consecutive days, I felt a bit unsteady. It was an all-you-can-eat course, but I couldn't eat much, though my husband was delighted that the chicken was delicious! There was also a participatory dance, which is something I usually wouldn't do with my parents and everyone else, so it became a great memory. We were able to enjoy the sunset slowly, with monthly guidance on the timing. However, it seemed that the guests in other tiers had their sunset time overlapping with the show.

The tour guaranteed front-row seats, so I was able to see everything up close and was extremely excited! Since the entire show was in English, those nearby who didn't understand English seemed to have a bit of trouble, but I think the content was relatively easy to understand. The dancers were all absolutely wonderful; the graceful hula of the wahine was beautiful, the men's dance was really cool, and the fire dance was truly exhilarating! There were also many comedic elements, so I believe it's a show that anyone can enjoy, even if they're not familiar with hula or Hawaiian culture. Time flew by, and I wanted to see more and more! I will definitely use this again!

It rained a little, but the staff kindly held umbrellas to see us off after boarding. We are truly grateful for the meticulous attention and hospitality we received in every aspect. On our honeymoon, we went to Hawaii and watched a luau. The people of Hawaii seem to love celebrations, as they honored participants celebrating birthdays, honeymoons, and anniversaries during the showtime. There were also interactive segments in the show, which were a lot of fun. The food was delicious, but more than anything, the experience corner before the show was fulfilling, allowing us to fully enjoy the Hawaiian atmosphere. We were also very satisfied with our tour, as we got to sit in the front row in the center.

Since it was my daughter's first trip to Hawaii, I looked for a tour that included a sunset dinner cruise, steak, and either lobster or shrimp. I thought a slightly larger boat would be less rocky even in high waves, and I believe that was a nice choice.

The meeting place was Aloha Tower, Pier 8. I had the impression that various trolleys frequently stopped at Aloha Tower, making it easy to get there, so I booked without a shuttle service (which turned out to be a mistake).

Now, only a few trolleys stop around Aloha Tower, and the bus stops nearby, making it quite inconvenient. The previous hustle and bustle is gone, with many vacant stores, which is quite sad. I thought I could go shopping early, but there were no stores to shop at. It mentioned checking in at the office next to the Star of Honolulu, but it was next to a bar. I tried talking to an older man who seemed to be a crew member, but he ignored me. After walking around and searching, I found the office next to a smaller boat near the entrance. The desolation around Aloha Tower increased my anxiety, and my beginner daughter became very anxious, which affected her mood significantly.

Finally boarding the ship, I ended up sandwiched between a Korean honeymoon couple, which was a bit uncomfortable. The table manners seemed different from Japan; they ate noisily, spilled food, and some of it even flew over to me. I wished they had designated zones for seating.

During the meal, a whale appeared, which was lucky. However, the explanation in English about how whales migrate south to raise their young and return to the Arctic after was somewhat difficult to understand, which was a bit disappointing.

Fortunately, the food was relatively lightly seasoned and delicious. The appetizer buffet with fruits and cheese, especially the cheese, was very satisfying. The blue cheese was delicious! The lobster, which I thought would be sashimi, was actually a whole boiled one with just one cut on its back. It’s my daughter's favorite, so I tried my best to eat it, but I couldn't help but need to wash my hands. They provided a wet towel, but I might have needed ten of them to manage. Also, I wanted a shell disposal container! There wasn't space on the table for it, but I wished I had one. Despite my struggles, my daughter seemed to really enjoy the lobster and even finished my portion. There were two types of sauce on the plate, one of which was ponzu, which was nice.

In the midst of all this, I borrowed the restroom. I wanted to wash my hands with soap, but unfortunately, the liquid soap container was empty. There were splatters on the wall that seemed to be from someone who got seasick, which was a bit off-putting. However, this was probably just bad luck.

The girl dancing the hula who told me where the restroom was was very cute and kind. The way there was bright, but on the way back, it was completely dark, and the night view of Waikiki Beach from the sea was very beautiful.

The cruise ended safely, and since we had no shuttle service, we were tired and felt uneasy about the desolation of Aloha Tower, so we took a taxi back to Ala Moana Shopping Center. It was a bit far to the hotel, and since it was only around 8 PM, I thought we could do a little shopping and maybe catch a trolley. The taxi cost $14, including the tip. In the end, I wondered if taking a taxi was more economical than the shuttle for three or more people, trying to console myself for my mistake of not booking the shuttle service.

集合場所はアロハタワー、ピア８。
以前、アロハタワーといえば、いろんなトロリーが頻繁に停まり、簡単に行けるというイメージだったので、送迎なし、で予約しました。（←これは失敗）

なんと今ではアロハタワー周辺にはほんの数本のトロリーしか停まらず、the busが近くに停まるくらいで、なんとも不便。以前の賑いはなく、空店舗もたくさんあって、寂しいかぎりです。早めに行ってショッピングでも・・と思ったところ、ショッピングできるお店がない・・・
スター・オブ・ホノルル号横の事務所でチェックイン、とありましたが、横はバーだし。船員さんと思われるおじさんに話しかけてみたものの、無視されるし、歩き回って、探すと、入口近くの別の小さい船の横が事務所だし。
アロハタワー周辺がさびれすぎてわいた不安感がさらに大きくなり・・
ビギナーの娘はとても不安そうで、この時点でご機嫌がすこぶる悪くなってしまいました。

やっとのことで乗船するも、韓国のハネムーナーに両サイドを挟まれてしまい、ちょっと・・・。テーブルマナーが日本と違うのか、音を立てて食べ、こぼし、お料理の一部が飛んできて・・大変。なんとなく、ゾーンをわけてくれたらよいのに・・

お食事の途中、くじらが現れ、これはラッキーでした。
温かい海で子育てのために南下してたクジラも子育てが終わったら北極の海に帰っていくんだ的な説明も英語のみだったので、なんとなくしか分からず、ちょっと残念。

幸いお料理はわりとあっさりめの味付けで美味しかったです。
前菜のビュッフェのフルーツとチーズ、特にチーズが大満足。

ロブスター、お刺身かと思ったら、一尾まるごとボイルされたものが背に切れ目がひとつだけの状態でどーん。
娘の大好物なので頑張って食べましたが、手を洗わずにはいられない。おしぼりはくれたものの・・、くれたおしぼりで何とかするには１０枚は必要かも。そして、殻入れ！置くスペースはテーブルにはないけれど、欲しかった。が、私の苦労はよそに、娘はロブスターが気に入ったようで私の分までペロリと食べちゃいました。お皿の上にソースが二種類、うち一つがポン酢風だったのもよかったんでしょう＾＾

そんなこんなで、トイレを借りました。
石鹸をつけて手洗いしたかったのですが、液体せっけんらしき容器は残念ながらカラ。
船酔いした人のと思われる忘れ物の飛沫が壁についてて、これもちょっとちょっと。でも、これはたまたま、不運だったのでしょう。

トイレの場所を教えてくれたフラを踊っていた女の子はとても可愛らしく、優しかったです。
そして、行きは明るかったけど帰りは完全に暗くなり、海から見るワイキキの浜の夜景はとてもきれいでした。

無事クルーズもおわり、さて、送迎なしの私たち、疲れたし、アロハタワーの寂れっぷりが不安なのでタクシーでアラモアナショッピングセンターまで帰りました。
ホテルまでだとちょっと遠いし、まだ２０時くらいだったのでお買い物も少しできるしトロリーもあるかな・・と思って。タクシーはチップ込みで１４ドル。
結果、３人以上ならタクシーの方が送迎よりお得だったのかな・・
なんて自分の失敗（送迎なしにしたこと）をなぐさめてみたりしました。

My daughter, who is now a middle school student, went on her first overseas trip to Hawaii. I wanted her to see a hula show and try kalua pork, so I signed up for this tour. It was also great that the venue was just a 2-3 minute walk from our hotel.

The buffet venue and the show venue were separate, so we had to move between them. The buffet was located in the garden space next to the 4th-floor corridor of the Royal Hawaiian Center, but it felt cramped with tables packed into a small area. There was a small hula show, which might have felt more intimate, but I think it would have been better to have a larger space or reduce the number of guests to about two-thirds for more comfort. The buffet style allowed us to fill our plates with kalua pork, roast beef, salads, and other favorites, which seemed to be enjoyable. The dessert sorbet was surprisingly sour, and both my daughter and I were taken aback by it.

As for the show venue, we were seated in the second-floor section, but it wasn't a very large venue, so we were really close to the stage and could see everything well.

ビュッフェスタイルでカルアポークやローストビーフ、サラダなど、好きなものを好きなだけお皿に入れるのも楽しかったようです。デザートのシャーベットは見た目よりすっぱくて娘と二人でびっくりしました。

ショーの会場は私たちは２階席でしたが、そんなに広い会場ではなかったのでステージまですごく近くてよく見ることができました。

We participated in an all-you-can-eat course featuring one-star steak and crab for a total of five people, including my parents and children. The steak was quite good, and the crab was delicious as well. However, the staff would come around with the crab for refills, but they didn't come by often enough for an all-you-can-eat experience, so we could only get a refill once. The sunset was beautiful, and the fireworks were lovely to see, but what left the biggest impression on me was definitely seasickness. The waves were calm, and the weather was nice that day, but while my husband didn't get seasick, I gradually started to feel unwell as time went on. Our elementary school child got very seasick and couldn't eat. It seemed like many others were also feeling seasick and were looking unwell on the deck. My parents had taken motion sickness medication beforehand, so they seemed to be fine. I think it's essential to take motion sickness medication before boarding, just to be safe.

両親と子供と計５人で１スターのステーキとカニ食べ放題コースで
参加させていただきました。
お料理はステーキも普通に頂けるお味でしたし、カニも美味しかったのですが
カニのおかわりはスタッフがカニを持ってテーブルに回ってきてくれるの
ですが、カニの食べ放題というわりには、なかなかスタッフがきてくれない
ので１回しかおかわりができなかったです。
サンセットも綺麗でしたし、花火も綺麗に見えましたが、それよりも印象に
残ったのは、何といっても船酔いです。
当日は波も穏やかで天候もよかったのですが、主人は酔わなかったそう
ですが、私は時間とともに徐々に酔ってきました。
特にうちの小学生の子供はひどく酔ってしまい食事もできませんでした。
他にもたくさんの方が船酔いをされてたようで、デッキにでて具合が
悪そうにしていました。
両親は事前に酔い止めを飲んでいたので大丈夫なようでした。
念のため乗船の際は酔い止め服用必須だと思います。
