Oahu
My friend was so surprised!! It was very cute... :)
My wife and I were disappointed with the buffet that was served. We were expecting traditional Hawaiian food like Kalua pig - but ended up with chicken. On a more positive note, the Polynesian dancing was good.
We, cannot stop talking about our day. Our guide Melody was more than wonderful. We enjoyed her tremendously, she was so knowledgable it was amazing. Everyone should visit this location. Everyone was friendly and nice.
Very good experience. The employee greeting us went out of her way to make the experience a great one.
To make my boyfriend's first visit to Hawaii extra special I ordered a lei greeting for him at the airport departure gate. He was so surprised and thankful. The "wahine" that greeted us was very personable and offered assistance. She was on time and the sign she held was easily visible for us to see. I would definitely recommend this service to my fellow friends and family. Mahalo Honolulu Lei Greetings!
This has been our third luau. We have been to a luau in Kona and the Old Lahaina Luau. This year my family and I decided to attend the luau at the Polynesian center since we had heard so much of it. Unfortunately, we were not impressed and actually disappointed. We were treated better at the other two luau's, such as free alcohol drinks and hospitality overall. Your dinner was good, and the waitress attended us well. We were disappoin- ted with the show. I felt I was watching a Las Vegas show and not a cultural, narrative, Polynesian history show. My family and I love to see the grass skirt dances and you had very little of it. We also did not like the auditorium ambiance and everyone running to get ice cream.
We had a great time on this tour, our driver was fantastic, Keao made everyone feel like they were a friend. We had young children in our group and he entertained them a lot of the way, along with the rest of us. Very informative and wonderful way to see the island. Only negative, would have liked to have just a little more time at the Dole Plantation.
It was a very nice greeting for my daughter and I Thank you!
This place is beautiful.
Highly recommend, a great way to start your trip and surprise loved ones!
The lei greeting was a nice suprise for my friend. The lei was fresh orchids and it was beautiful. The lady who gave us the lei was not dressed Hawai'ian, and she put the lei around the neck. Latter we were stopped on the street and a local resident moved the lei's so they rested on our shoulder(this is the way it should be and the way it looks nice). I would like to have the presenter of the lei dressed at least in colorful Hawai'ian cloths and the lei put on us the right way. The lady was non-the-less very helpful and did guide us to the front of the airport where the limo was to pick us up. Thank you "Hawaii Activities".
This was the best tour of the whole trip. It was probably made that way by the tour guide that we had. Garfield was our guide and he was very informative and well liked. We learned more on this tour even though we had lived on the island before.
I totally recommend this lei greeting for first-timers to Hawaii if you are not being met by anyone. Your first visit and the spirit of Aloha begins with the lei greeting. Hawaii begins and continues with Aloha and love, even after your trip is over.
We found the experience a total refreshment. From the loading on the ship to the disembarking, the personal attention to our needs was delightful. We found the food to be excellent. The only down side we found was their taste in music, but to each his/her own.
We found the Vow Renewal part not as exciting as anticipated but well worth the expense.
This was quite an experience of seeing how life in the islands would have been like. It is quite different than life today.
I decided to take a trip to hawaii and include this lovely romantic cruise ship for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. If was very intimate and romantic. We absolutely loved the experience and the staff. Kalani and Joe were such a joy. I would strongly recommend the 5 star honolulu dinner cruise to any couple celebrating a special or intimate event.
Awesome, we are from New Zealand and the Horizons show certainly made us proud to be part of Polynesia
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The Driver (from Samoa) was very knowledgeable and entertaining about the Islands and the Arizone /Missouri. He made it well worth the time and money.
The Oahu Dinner Sunset Cruise was very nice; the service was great and the food was excellent.
I had returned after twenty five years and the Center was as good as ever! My traveling companion was visiting for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the day, luau and show. A great day recommended for all visitors to the island of Oahu.
This was a great first impression after travelling so long. The greeters were full of Aloha. They were right outside our arrival gate. Sign was just as we requested & the smiles were even better.
Thank you.
Excellent Lei greeter....
I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting the island for the first time. As long as the pick-up bus gets started, the tour is a fun and enjoyable one while learning a great deal about the history of Pearl Harbor. Tour guide was excellent.
A wonderful day - our second visit - and should not be missed. Entertaining & informative. The "Horizons" show is fantastic, particularly the Fire Dance.
A very good event to go to. Good food, good show and hundrreds of your closest friends
We had a great time on this tour. We saw a little bit of everything. Rongo, our guide, was so much fun, and so knowledgable. He had so much personal knowledge of the island we often felt like we were somehow being driven around by an old friend who wanted to 'show us around'. Rongo was just a great, great guide. We had fun. We had time to take pictures anywhere we stopped, never felt rushed or hurried. Loved everything we saw and felt like we got a very complete 'view' of the island as well as it's history and all of the things that made 'Oahu'....Oahu. We took this tour our second day in Oahu in case we stumbled across something we would want to spend more time investigating later. We're glad we did. Rongo was also willing to give us tips on great places to eat, or grab a drink. We really had fun!
The tour can't be called fun, but i can say "don't miss it". It's very informative, quite solemn (the Arizona portion) and something i think every visitor should take in. It was well organized, good timing, and did everything we hoped it would.
This was a wonderful experience. The Makani staff were very funny and friendly. Food was great. We had a very good time and would definetly recommend this activity.
Our greeter was very friendly and seemed to be hawaiian, which was good. This was exactly what we paid for and expected.
The young lady that was there to greet us was very nice and friendly. She offered to take our picture - a thoughtful gesture. It was a surprise for my husband and he enjoyed it very much. Thank you!
