Amazing day at the sandbar, lots of sea turtles & snorkeling
Reviewed by: Amm, 2023/04/03Upon going to the sandbar for the first time, I decided to give Captain Bob's Kaneohe Bay a try. So glad I did because I had an amazing time on this cruise. All of the employees were super nice and made sure everyone felt safe & comfortable on the cruise. The sandbar was absolutely stunning! The crew set up a volleyball net which allowed for all of us to have a fun match of beach volleyball at the sandbar. Those that didn't want to participate were able to walk around the sandbar at their leisure. I enjoyed that this cruise was away from all of the other cruises and boats in the area. It was like we had our own secluded little area. The food was delicious and afterwards we cruised over to a reef area to snorkel. Along the way, the captain went slow to make sure we got a chance to see all of the sea turtles floating on the surface of the ocean. We saw so many of them! The area we snorkeled in was amazing. I saw so many different kinds of fish and several sea turtles that literally swim right next to us. I had an amazing time and photos to last a lifetime. If you are thinking about doing a cruise to the sandbar, look no further. Would absolutely go again!

3月の2週目くらいに参加しました。
潮吹きや尾びれが何度もみれて、すごく感動しました。
帰りにはイルカの群れに遭遇して、
近くでみることができました。
英語は全く分かりませんでしたが、
・靴を箱にいれて乗船する
・ドリンクは船の中でもらえる
(みんなは箱にチップいれてたのでいれた)
・降りるとき箱にチップいれる
はみんなの真似してできたので困りませんでした。
帰りのお迎えが何時にどこへ来るか分からず、
行きで一緒だった人たちも何故かウーバーで帰って行ったのでかなり不安になりました。
15~20分くらい待っていたら、迎えが来てくれて無事帰れましたが、行きのバスで確認しておくべきでしたね。

Amazing experience

Great Family Trip

We made 3 mini stops along the way, first at the sandbar, next at a turtle watching spot and finally snorkeling where we saw 2 turtles and a ton of fish. Highly recommend!!

Great hosts, easy ride!

They usually serve on these types of cruises. The crew was incredibly friendly. We saw a beautiful sunset and multiple rainbows.

天気にも恵まれて、最高でした！

天気もよく、きれいな海！空！最高でした！水温は少し冷たいですが、入っているうちに慣れる程度でした。サンドバーの深さは膝ぐらい、シュノーケリングポイントでも気持ちよく泳げて珊瑚のエリアでは魚もみることが出来ました。ランチのハンバーガーもおいしくて何から何までよかったです。家族みんな満足なツアーでした。

OMG!! This was Absolutely THE Best

I told the Captain what my father's wishes were, what he liked about the island, etc. The Captain read his obit, studied the charts & current for that day and I couldn't have scripted it better myself. They were unbelievable nice, generous & caring. A vision that all of us that were there will keep. Pictures will never do it justice.
I think he must know someone in high places, as the waters were VERY calm - like glass. The place he picked was beautiful - we could see all the way to the bottom. Picture perfect.

充実してました
Reviewed by: rii, 2023/03/24とにかくスタッフの方達、全員すごく楽しげな親切な人達ばかりでとても楽しく過ごせました。ランチのハンバーガーもそれほど期待していなかったのですが、すっごく美味しくて驚きました。自由時間も十分にありますし、シュノーケリングも十分に楽しめますし、亀もしっかり見れましたし、ツアー申し込んで良かったです！雨の予報でしたが、奇跡的に晴れのち曇りという天気で特に寒い事もなく1日過ごせました。またサンドバーのツアー申し込みたいぐらいです。

Captain Bruce Kaneohe Sandbar Snorkel & Private Speed Boat Rental
Incredible Time
Reviewed by: Tom, 2023/03/16Many moons ago I visited the sandbar and knew I needed to come back again. It took me 10 years but finally made it!!
I ponied up the cheddar for the private speed boat and for me it was perfect. Captain K was so attentive to my family. (My daughter tripped in the parking lot within 20 seconds of meeting him). He bandaged her up. Taught us about the geography of the bay. Went out of his way to find us some turtles at the end.
My 5 year old had the time of her life with all the fish! Snorkeling was amazing. All the toys already out on the sandbar were amazing.
10 out of 10. Will do again next time in Oahu.

Great excursion!
Reviewed by: Donna J, 2023/03/13The included transportation was excellent. On time and our driver gave us commentary on the scenic drive to the harbor. On the way back he stopped at
Leonard's Barkery and let us get donuts!
The snorkeling at the bay was excellent, we saw lots of fish and saw 3 turtles.
Afterward we had about an hour at the bay to use paddleboards and floaties.
I wish they had kayaks like some of the other companies.
Snacks included granola bars, apples, chips, and musubi.
A little pricey but enjoyable morning.

Nice day on the water.

It is $160 per person including transportation, and for that you get a seat on the boat maybe if you can find one, a cheeseburger with baked beans and fruit for lunch, a trip to a sandbar where either you play volleyball or stand around, then a trip to a reef to see little fish and turtles.

Purtoppo la giornata che abbiamo scelto non è stata delle migliori.. pioveva a tratti e l'acqua era un po' torbida.. non abbiamo visto le balene.. ma vabbè avevamo già messo in conto che poteva succedere, abbiamo fatto un bagno in mezzo all'oceano e abbiamo nuotato con tanti pesci diversi e tartarughe marine. Nel complesso ne è valsa la pena, anche perché abbiamo avuto la possibilità di vedere la costa sud di Oahu da un altra prospettiva, incantevole.
Esperienza consigliata.

The day's experience was one of a kind!
Reviewed by: Suzanne, 2023/03/01The day was so fun and easy. The transportation met us at the collection point (and returned us in the afternoon). At the boat jetty, we were welcomed with Alohas. We spent some time on the sandbar to explore, and play a game of volleyball. We then gently motored for some turtle spotting. After that, we were taken to the beautiful coral reef where we snorkelled and flippered around, what a sensation! I thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ and hot chocolate!

Waikiki Swim with Turtles Tour - Moana Catamaran Best Honolulu Snorkeling Cruise
Amazing snorkel trip w/ top-notch crew

We set sail on the beautiful catamaran at 0830 and to head out see the sea turtles at the infamous 'shell-cleaning' reef which is located just outside the breakers off Waikiki beach. Our Capt for the day, Anthony, was personable, friendly and made us all feel welcome aboard the boat. Zack and Sarah were the other two crew members and they were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the entire trip. 100% would sail with this crew again. Bring some tip $ for them, because they definitely deserve it. Book a tour today!
The snorkel site is popular and several boats are in the area, which is nice because you don't feel like you're out in the middle of the ocean alone. It can get busy with everyone trying to see the turtles and fish so be sure to keep an eye on the surface as well as watching what is below. Some turtles even come over to our boat and I snapped a photo (attached to this review). Overall water depth is about 20-30 feet and even on a cloudy & murky day (like ours) we could easily see numerous fish and several large sea turtles. We were even lucky enough to see Humpback whales (mom & baby)!!
We booked our trip in mid/late Feb and it was overcast & rainy. A bit chilly at times, but come prepared and it's a fun trip regardless. Plenty of covered space to store dry items, but a "drybag" is a nice touch on any beach/water adventure.
We booked the 0830 trip to maximize sea life activity which also resulted in 2 families being on the boat....8 people total. Virtually a private tour! When we pulled back into the pier for the next tour there were about 20-25 people waiting for the next tour. And, parking at the marina is easier before the crowds arrive.

Super helpful with all concerns regarding fishing equipment and hooking a fish. The Capt. was kind and informative. She knows her job and does it well. Despite the choppy seas, she got us to the spots where people caught fish. It was a great time and well recommended.

Captain Tiger's Waikiki Daytime and Sunset Bottom Fishing Cruise [Closed]
First time i caught nothing!
