I think it's best to make a reservation on the day you arrive in Hawaii. It will blow away the fatigue from your travels. At Mandara Spa, you can freely use the jacuzzi and sauna before your massage, allowing you to relax and enjoy your time. The Lomi Lomi massage was incredibly pleasant with just the right amount of pressure. I think I even fell asleep because it felt so good... Afterward, I also enjoyed the mist sauna, which helped me sweat just enough to feel refreshed in both my mind and body. I highly recommend this.

I checked in at Mandara Spa Hawaii, where I was guided to the changing room. I changed in the locker room and went to a private room with my daughter to receive a massage. It was my first experience, and I was excited as I lay face down on the bed, naked. At first, I felt a bit hesitant. We chose the Mandara oil from the five options available because it smelled nice. They gave us a full-body massage using that oil. From my toes to the top of my head, the massage made me feel warm and truly relaxed. I was so comfortable that I almost fell asleep. Before I knew it, 50 minutes had passed, and the massage was over. All the fatigue from Hawaii disappeared in an instant. I felt at ease knowing that a staff member who understood Japanese was there to assist me. I plan to visit Mandara Spa Hawaii again when I come back to Hawaii. I was really happy to have such a great experience. Since I had the massage on the last day, I still feel like I can walk around and enjoy Hawaii. Don't expect a high-end resort spa. If you are looking for spa with pool, sauna, gym, etc., this is not it. HOWEVER, if you simply want to enjoy some high quality massage for an amazingly affordable price, this is where you need to go.

The facility is just a small cozy room, but the quality you will get is more than what you pay for. As advertised, my therapist worked for some other big hotel spa so it's the same quality you will get as you pay double the price, or even more. She said she likes working at this salon because she can really enjoy her work.

I decided to go back again at the end of my stay in Hawaii. This is definitely a hidden secret of Waikiki. I'd recommend their service to anyone who are simply looking for a high quality massage, nothing more.

The Mandara Spa, originating from Bali, was so relaxing that I didn't want to do anything afterward. I spent a leisurely holiday shopping at the Hilton until the evening without participating in any activities.

I chose it mainly because it was close, and I was extremely satisfied. According to the staff who attended to me, most of the estheticians are veterans from famous spas. They focused on the areas that needed attention, and the service was outstanding, taking care to consider my comfort during the treatment. I felt that resetting both my mind and body with a massage made my stay in Hawaii much more enjoyable, rather than dragging the fatigue from my work in Japan.

The men's spa experience would've been 5 star if they had the following:

- Larger sitting area separate from the sauna/jacuzzi area...it got
a little hot, waiting to be called for massage treatment.

- Shower area should be separate from spa area

- Light refreshments (i.e. fruit/cookies/nuts/bottled water/juice)

Overall impressions were very favorable. It was tranquil, peaceful, is a worth while luxury that everyone deserves every now and then.....(the massage therapist almost got a marriage proposal...LOL...she was that good.......deep tissue sports massage is the way to go!!)

The 50 minutes pass by in no time, and my body, which had felt sluggish, became refreshed and invigorated. Spending a pleasant time at Mandara Spa is the best way to get into Hawaii mode on your first day! Next time, I plan to bring my swimsuit and enjoy the pool next to the front desk as well.

It is a famous Mandara Spa, so I wasn't too worried about participating, and it was a wonderful experience as expected. I was able to request a couple's room when making the reservation, which made for a very private time.

The service was, of course, excellent, and the interior was very lovely and relaxing. I felt so good that I even fell asleep and can't remember the details of the treatment! The facilities, including the jacuzzi, are also well-equipped, allowing you to spend a leisurely time after the 50-minute massage.

I highly recommend using it right after you arrive to relieve your tired body from the flight.

I finally went to try the lomilomi massage that I had wanted to experience for a long time! Unlike the pressure point massage that digs in, the gentle kneading of the muscles felt wonderful. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary day by including a Lomi Lomi massage to help kick start our vacation week. We could not believe the bargin price that Hawaii Activities gave us, thanks again for the generous price savings. We actually saved money at the Mandara Spa which we later had more to spend throughout our stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. My wife's therapist, Gary Sun was very professional and informative in providing exercising tips. My therapist, Ayan Arzaga was polite, professional, and informative in recommending products to use after the massage. The massage was administrated slowly which was very relaxing to us by helping us to relieve the stress that we had before we started our vacation. We both felt more rejunvenated after the invigorating and enlivening fifty minutes massage. We are delighted with this great website that we have shared the information with famiy and friends that are visiting the Hawaiian Islands.

I had always wanted to experience a Lomi Lomi massage! After checking in, I changed into a bathrobe and soaked in the jacuzzi, and finally... I took the elevator, and when the doors opened, I waited for a few minutes in a dimly lit lobby with a moody atmosphere and the scent of herbs.

When my name was called, I followed the esthetician into a private room, where I received a thorough massage while chatting comfortably on a warm bed. After the massage, I was brought water and received a leaflet listing the oils and lotions used for my personal use, which was very kind.

I soaked in the jacuzzi again and enjoyed a nice time in the mist sauna. It was great that my therapist was Japanese. They paid special attention to the areas I was concerned about. It’s said that getting a massage on the day of arrival is the best! Thanks to the oil massage, my skin became smooth, and the sunscreen lotion spread well.

You can enjoy various amenities like the jacuzzi and dry & mist saunas before and after the massage, so I recommend taking plenty of time to indulge. I look forward to enjoying it even more next time!

The girls from work and I decided to have a "spa day" and we choose Mandara. It was the first time any of us had been to this spa before although we get massages on a regular basis. Number one the massage therapists are amazing and we will be going back to request a number of them for our next massages. Second you get to use the outdoor pool and jacuzzi and the indoor whirlpool at the Spa for free when you get a massage so that was an unexpected treat. Finally you have to upgrade to the Frangipani Hair and Scalp Conditioning with your massage. You won't regret it, that stuff smells so good and its amazing to have them massage your head, plus its a great conditioning treatment for you hair!

I took my wife to Mandara Spa for our anniversary but I wanted to do something really special. We had a couples massage in the suite like usual but I decided to try the Four Hands Massage which is apparently one of Mandara's specialties. I have had plenty of massages before but never with two massage therapist at once - what an incredible feeling. My wife was equally impressed and we will be sure to add this to our list as our new favorite massage.

When I studied abroad at the University of Hawaii, I had never experienced a massage, but this is definitely something you should try! I went with a friend. Both therapists were male and spoke very little Japanese.

We arrived about an hour early for our reservation and relaxed in the jacuzzi and sauna. We enjoyed a long massage and felt a bit like celebrities. My friend, who struggles with English, managed to communicate with the therapist mostly through gestures. I believe that if you request it, they can provide someone who speaks Japanese.

After finishing work, I headed to the airport and arrived in Hawaii. Despite always being in a great mood, I honestly felt the fatigue in my body. I can't win against age (^^).

ロケーションがヒルトンというのもあり、ゴージャスな感じですよね。私達は安いホテルしか泊まらないので。。。

マッサージはスゴク丁寧でしたし、雰囲気がよかった。もてなそうという精神がサービスの細部に表れていると思います。

マッサージを受け、そのあとはあまり予定を入れず、ラナイで夕陽を見れるレストランで早めの食事を取りました。

このおかげか！？到着日の夜は快眠×２
翌日からスッキリとした気分でハワイを満喫しました！！！！

Since it was my arrival day, she talked with me while I was getting the massage, and I was happy to receive recommendations for spots to visit, as I had questions to ask as well.

Although it wasn't my first time at a spa, the location was on a different floor from the reception, and as soon as I got off the elevator, it felt like stepping into another world with a wonderful atmosphere.

The music that played continuously also enhanced the relaxing mood. I'm glad I went on my arrival day in Hawaii.

スパの内容はロミロミです。日本人の女性スタッフが対応してくれました。

到着日だったので、マッサージをうけながら色々と話をしてくれ、こちらも質問したいことがあったので、お薦めスポットとか教えてもらえて嬉しかったです。

スパははじめてではなかったですが、スパの場所が受付とは別の階にあり、エレベーターを降りた途端に別世界という感じで雰囲気満点でした。

ずっと流れてる音楽も癒し気分を高めてくれました。ハワイ到着日に行ってよかったです。

I went to get a little gift for my girlfriend, expressing my appreciation for her.

Since she was going, I decided to tag along and experience it myself (laughs). It's not common for men to go to a spa, but I thought I would recommend it to acquaintances as well.

The atmosphere from the treatment room was incredible, providing the ultimate relaxation. I felt truly at peace, and my body fatigue was relieved.

I’m thinking of trying a body wrap together next time.
