I participated with my 6-year-old son and husband the other day. Since it was our first time snorkeling, I had about half expectations, but we were well taken care of, and my son was able to see many fish that he loves, which made us very satisfied! I considered going to Hanauma Bay on our own, but given that my younger child is still small and the concerns about being at the beach for a long time and the parking lot filling up quickly, we decided to join this tour. After being picked up, the instructions began. It was early in the morning, the microphone was loud, and they were talking about dolphins in a sporty way. I wondered if I could keep up with this vibe, thinking that "Dolphin Middle School" was not just a concept but something they were serious about. However, later I realized that this morning's instruction was all meticulously planned.

The staff were very kind, and it was clear that they truly loved dolphins and marine life, showing respect for them. Although I was sleepy in the morning, I received various guidance on the bus. I learned that dolphins, like humans, can have good days and bad days, sometimes wanting to be left alone, and sometimes approaching us. It might seem obvious when you think about it, but I was able to understand things I hadn't properly considered before.

If I had fallen asleep, I think I would have struggled once on the boat. I also learned for the first time not to splash my fins or make noise. I realized that the reason I hadn't encountered turtles despite swimming many times was due to my own actions. I thought I should become someone who doesn't disturb marine life and can coexist with them.

It seems that the dolphin was in an incredibly good mood that day! I am truly grateful! At first, I thought, "What does it mean to call a dolphin a teacher?" But from the moment I met the dolphin, I quietly shouted in my heart, "Dolphin-sensei!" The dolphin was amazing. The staff were amazing too. I believe that coming to Hawaii and creating this memory is truly the best. This tour is possible because the staff love dolphins. Thank you very much!

なるほど、考えてみれば当たり前のことかもしれないけど、今まできちんと考えられなかったことを、
ちゃんと教えてもらって理解できました。
多分寝てしまうと、船にのってからしんどかったと思います。
また、フィンをバタバタやらない、音をたてない、
というのを初めてしり、
今まで何回も泳いでいても、なかなかカメさんに遭遇できなったのは、自分に原因があるのだな、
もっと海の生き物に、邪魔にならなくて、一緒にいさせてもらえるようになろう、
と思えました。
さて、イルカ先生はどうやらものすごく機嫌のいい日だったようで！！
本当に感謝です！
初めは、イルカ先生って…先生ってなんだよ…
と思っていましたが、イルカ先生に会えた瞬間から、
心の中でイルカセンセー‼︎
と静かに叫んでいました。
イルカ先生最高です。
スタッフのみなさんも最高です。
ハワイにきて、この思い出ができたら、本当に最高だと思います。

The weather and tide play a significant role on the day of your visit. It was great to have a morning with water levels around calf height.

Searching for sea turtles is exhilarating! The boat is impressive, so it was fine to bring a non-waterproof camera.

The guide really pumped up the excitement, so I definitely want to go again!

Last year, I had to just observe because I wasn't feeling well, so this year was my long-awaited participation! It was just amazing... Not only did I get to have a class with Dolphin Sensei, but I also swam for a long time with Professor Turtle, and I really think it changed my life. During Dolphin Sensei's class, the snorkeling was a bit fragmented, and I thought it might be physically challenging, but I was able to swim as much as I wanted during the subsequent snorkeling, and it was so much fun! I thought I might go two or three times during my stay, haha.

Oh, and the boat was upgraded, which was great! My mother was happy that it was easier for her to jump in. Our belongings didn't get wet, and it was clean, so we could enjoy ourselves without any worries.

イルカ先生に授業してもらえただけでなく、カメ大教授とも長く泳げたし、たぶん本当に人生変わったと思います。

I enjoyed turtle watching, beach volleyball, and other activities that I don't usually get to do. The weather was a bit disappointing, but I had a great time playing and felt like a child again. The sound of the experienced old man's guitar was also fantastic!

We did See Turtles!

As in the title we definitely saw turtles on the trip. I was however disappointed with an $89 each cost associated. We were picked up and driven to the marina which is at Waikiki and could have walked there quicker. We took the early 8 am tour which departed around 8:30 and minutes later we were in the water and swimming with the turtles which was great. Outside of the turtles there wasn't much more to see. After less than an hour of snorkeling I was told to get back on the boat to depart. Ten minutes later we were exiting the boat. There was no time to enjoy the "open bar" really at all, and it was only 9 am. For the money we should have at least got some extra time on the boat cruising around, maybe a loop back toward Pearl or something. I'm not saying don't do it but we saw just as many turtles off a rented stand up board on Waikiki for $25/hr. That said, the crew was great and really did try to get people going and excited.

I had a great time playing volleyball at the sandbar and seeing sea turtles! The snorkeling was a bit different from what I imagined, maybe because it rained the day before?! The staff member was very energetic and friendly, and she took a lot of wonderful photos for us, which was great! The hamburger we had on the boat was very delicious! There are various tours available, but I'm glad I chose this one!!

Absolutely wonderful experience!
We were picked up right on time, and it was a short drive to the harbour from our hotel in Waikiki. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional and the sail boat was spacious and clean. The snorkeling gear was good quality and generally fit well, although my mask leaked a little.
We saw our first turtle not long after getting in the water, and saw quite a few more thereafter. They came very close to us as they surfaced to breath, making for incredible photo opportunities.
This was an amazing experience and anyone visiting the island and considering this activity will not be disappointed!

I tried snorkeling for the first time at a sandbar known as the "Angel Sea." I'm not a great swimmer, and I felt nervous when the staff said, "Just think of it as training!" But I put on the snorkel and set off. The corals and fish I saw for the first time were so beautiful... and just as I was getting used to it, it was over. I had a bit of anxiety, but wearing a life jacket helped me float, and the staff was watching over us, so I'm glad I participated.

So, I have never been sea sick before in my entire life, but snorkeling in the swell did me in. The crew were SO FANTASTIC. They helped me out of the water, checked in over and over, and were a delight. No their fault I yakked, and the did everything they reasonably could to make the trip good in spite of it. The sailing part was awesome-- it was windy and a little rough and so we really raced along and got bounced around in the waves. Very exciting. I love boats!

At the sandbar, you can practice snorkeling and play volleyball. The sandbar is shallow and there are hardly any fish, so we went to a deeper part of the sea with coral reefs to snorkel. During the move, hamburgers were served. They were delicious. It might be a bit different from the typical barbecue image. I was satisfied because I got to swim with sea turtles while snorkeling.

I think there are other tours like the Angel's Sea and Heaven's Sea tour, but this one departs in the morning, allows you to have lunch, and you can also go snorkeling at different locations, so I believe it's a very satisfying tour! I was able to see a sea turtle swimming from the boat, and we also went snorkeling.

The snorkeling was done in a line with everyone, so we couldn't take our time to look around. Also, the weather from the previous day definitely had an impact.

As for the ocean, I preferred Kailua Beach, but the various explanations and insights were interesting!

It was very beautiful, and I was surprised when it suddenly appeared in the middle of the ocean. The turtles were also searching hard, and I was able to see a few. However, the snorkeling was a bit disappointing because the water clarity wasn't very good. I often dive in Okinawa, and I feel that the clarity there is significantly better. It might depend on the location, though.

On my first trip to Hawaii, I absolutely wanted to visit the heavenly sea. On the day of the trip, the weather was cloudy, and I couldn't see the beautiful ocean scenery I had hoped for, but by the time we went snorkeling, it cleared up, and I was so happy to swim in the crystal-clear water with sea turtles and fish. My husband is not a strong swimmer, so I was anxious about snorkeling alone, but the staff were kind and provided great guidance, allowing me to enjoy swimming. The snacks were also delicious. It was great to see everything efficiently because we had a guide. In the morning, many people got seasick, but it was good that no one got sick in the afternoon. We were able to see fish, but we didn't see any turtles; apparently, they aren't visible every day. We did see turtles on the Waikiki and dolphin tours.

I'll start with the positive.

The crew is young and enthusiastic. Everyone had smiles and was helpful with the gear.

This is a great excursion for tourists and beginner snorkelers. Great vivews of the Eastern part of the island and a pleasant swim with sea life. The crew teaches everyone how to use the equipment and will help people in the water. They spend about 20 minutes at each site so, for experienced snorkelers, it can be a little dull.

The hotel pickup was on time and the driver was good. The van is new and the ride was smooth.

You will be visiting with Spinner Dolphins. They are small dolphin and swim in pods of 30. The captain knows their favorite spots and will make sure you get to swim with them. By law, you will need to be wearing a life jacket to do this part of the swim. We got to see two pods. It was delightful. This tour company was knowledgeable about dolphins and is conerned with their safety.

We stopped at two more snorkeling locations. The fist stop was a small cove and the second had turtles.

The lunch at the Spinner cafe was good. I had the breakfast burrito and it was tasty and well prepared. The menu is small but the portions are big. The pancakes looked really good.

The reason for my 3 stars is not the quality of the company but an incident I had. The crew should be better trained in basic fist aid. I ended up treating myself with the supplies I keep in my bag. After asking if I was okay, no one helped or checked on my for the rest of the trip.

I would recommend this for people visiting Ohau and beginner snorkelers.

Snorkeling was amazing, saw lots of turtles and other wildlife! Lovely sail after ksnorkeling was real relaxing. Great, fun and friendly crew. Definitely would recommend!
