We were the only Japanese people on the tour. I couldn't understand Japanese, and I didn't know what the captain was saying, but it was okay, haha.

The tour description mentioned that they would lend us fins, but they only provided snorkeling gear and life jackets. I think the tour details need to be updated. Everyone else around us brought their own fins! It was fine without them, though.

Before boarding, they took photos (which they later sold for $20).

Once we set out, we encountered a pod of dolphins!

There was only one snorkeling spot. We got to swim with five big turtles! If you have a GoPro, the staff will dive down to take pictures of the turtles for you.

We enjoyed drinks (for a fee) while listening to music and having fun. They said that if you jumped into the sea, beer was free! But it was too cold for me to do that.

We went further out to look for whales, but we couldn't find any and had to head back.

Although I couldn't understand Japanese, the staff lady was cheerful and friendly.

I usually don't get motion sickness, but I felt seasick this time. It was cold in January, so be prepared!

I had a lot of fun on a boat like the one in the movie Moana, which was also fast. This time, I participated with my family, but there were no other Japanese people besides us. The guide only spoke English. It was a very satisfying tour.

I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take anti-nausea medication in advance.

This was just a terrific day from start to finish. We were picked up on time, and everything was exactly as advertised. We saw turtles, swam with the dolphins, and saw approximately 8 whales too! It was the first time snorkeling for both my husband and myself and the staff was terrific. Emmanuel picked us up and took care of us for the whole day. Our captain was terrific, making sure that we saw all those whales and had plenty of time for snorkeling with the dolphins and then over a wonderful coral reef. Photographer Justin was also terrific - making sure to get great pictures of everyone who wanted them. HIghly recommend this tour and company! Friendly AND professional!

We wouldn't have been able to see the turtles on our own, so swimming alongside the turtles and schools of fish was a precious experience, and we were very satisfied with the snorkeling. Additionally, the photos taken in the ocean were beautiful, and I was moved again when I returned home! It was truly a wonderful bonus to have memories of the ocean in Hawaii captured in such a way. Thank you very much!

Also, it was cloudy and windy that day, and I couldn't help but wonder why it was so cold in Hawaii. While snorkeling may be the main focus, I would like to see tours that are centered around the sandy beach as well.

Wow, wow, wow. This was the experience of a lifetime for me and my family. We really hit the jackpot. Within minutes of leaving the harbor we came across some Humpback whales frolicking with some dolphins - this was breathtaking. We then swam with sea turtles and had an amazing experience with a pod of approximately 50 dolphins. I honestly believe we had luck on our side because we couldn't have asked for a more amazing experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and made the tour even more enjoyable. I can honestly say this was the highlight of our holiday and would recommend this company to everyone.

Unfortunately, the sandbar was submerged up to waist height, so we couldn't experience it, but the weather was nice and we had a great time. Interacting with the staff during the BBQ was enjoyable and the food was delicious. Many sea turtles popped their heads up, which excited everyone. It was a truly fun tour where we could enjoy swimming in a fantastic location. Although I'm not a strong swimmer, I was trying my best to swim, but it seemed to the staff that I looked like I was drowning (laughs), and they were worried about me. If I could wish for one thing, it would have been nice to have a bit more fresh water poured on us when we returned from the sea.

Very friendly staff. Check in place is walking distance from my hotel. Since I do get sea sick, I took motion sickness pill an hour before and I didn't eat until it's time to go back to Waikiki beach. Therefore, providing snacks only without meals is perfect for me. They have a guide to swim with us and find turtles and other sea life for us. Our guide even dived to retrieve GoPro for a girl in our group. After snorkeling, they rises their sail and took us to see whales. My 2 teenage boys really enjoyed the activity the whole time.

Only my family participated on the day. I thought we would go to Hanauma Bay with a larger group, but it seems there were only about two groups at a time. We got into the car of our instructor (who was Japanese) and headed to Hanauma Bay. The water was cold, and it took some determination to get in. I think it's better to borrow a wetsuit if you can. The rocks can be surprisingly dangerous. It was really great to have an experienced instructor with us. They taught us how to use the snorkel and fins, stayed close to my 9-year-old daughter who isn't very confident in swimming, and guided us along a relatively safe route despite the rocky and hazardous conditions underwater. We were even able to see turtles.

　当日参加メンバーは私の家族のみ。私はもっと大人数でハナウマ湾に行くのかと思っていましたが一回に2組ぐらいらしいです。
　インストラクタ（日本人）の車に乗り込んでハナウマ湾へ。

　ベテランインストラクタがついていていただけたのは本当に良かったです。

There is a shuttle service to the hotel (depending on the hotel), and since we were able to return to the hotel by noon, we could plan different activities for the afternoon, making it an efficient and enjoyable experience. We were able to see many sea turtles, and the ocean was very beautiful, so I would like to go again. The only downside was that after getting out of the water, my body was still cold despite drying off with a towel, and the air conditioning on the return bus was too strong, making it very cold (though this may vary by person). I participated on Christmas Day. It was a tour that included only beach items and lunch, but I was able to rent a bicycle on-site and also visit Lanikai Beach.
It seems you can also bike to Kailua town, but I was told that there are no shops open on Christmas, so I fully enjoyed the beach.
There was enough time to enjoy just the beach.
There were many Japanese staff members, and they kindly helped me with anything I didn't understand, which was very helpful.

Swimming with two sea turtles was amazing!
There were so many beautiful fish, and the scenery was fantastic.
I think it’s better to take motion sickness medication just in case you might get seasick.
Wearing a wetsuit provides buoyancy and keeps you warm, so I recommend borrowing one.
The tour guides were very kind, making it the best tour ever.
At first, when I was swimming away from my son, they helped bring me back to him, so thank you for that.
Holding hands with my son while swimming with the sea turtles became a lifelong memory. Also, when I got seasick, it was really reassuring to swim back to shore together.
Thank you very much.
It was the best tour. You should definitely try it!

We both cannot swim but dan and Jan made us so comfortable that we forgot our worries and went for it. They gave us a lesson before the activity and it helped us a lot. During the activity, Dan was always there.. literally holding my wife's hand through out so that she doesnot panic. We had a beautiful experience to remember. Highly recommend Dan and Jan.

Perhaps because it was the rainy season, the sandbar had water up to my waist. However, the weather was nice, and the sea and sky were beautiful! I was able to see many beautiful coral reefs while snorkeling, and I even encountered a sea turtle, which made for great memories. Be careful on the way back, as you might get cold from being wet. I definitely want to go again! ^ ^

I participated in a tour early in the morning. Meeting at 5 AM in front of the hotel was tough, but I was very happy to meet many dolphin instructors!

Due to high waves that day, I couldn't meet the turtle professor, but I want to try again next time!!

The bus on the way there was too cold due to the air conditioning, which was a downside, but I felt relieved when I got off the bus and felt the warmth of the sun. My wife and child had their first snorkeling experience two days prior on another tour and enjoyed it, so we decided on this tour through Veltra, which offers both sailing and snorkeling. I don't speak English, but I thought I could manage if I understood the experiences shared by others. I couldn't fully understand the English of the woman at the beach reception or the crew on board, but they were very kind and helpful. When we dove into the sea, we saw four sea turtles swimming gracefully, and we were able to see tropical fish up close, including striped ones and yellow ones. The sailing after coming out of the water was also pleasant, with good weather and wind. 家族で参加。妻と子は２日前に別のツアーでシュノーケリングを初めて体験し楽しかったのでVeltraで捜しセーリングもシュノーケリングも両方楽しめるこのツアーに決めました。私は英語は出来ませんが他の方の書いた体験談を理解しておけば何とかなると思います。ビーチの受付の女性の英語も乗船してからのクルーの英語も100%聴き取れませんでしたが親切に対応してくれます。海に潜ると海亀が４匹悠々と泳ぎ、魚も縞模様のものや黄色のもの等熱帯魚も近くで見れました。海から上がって来てからのセーリングも天気も風も良く気持ち良かったです。妻と子はシュノーケリングの基本を別のツアーで習っていたので良かったのですが丸っきり初めてでブッツケ本番ですとキツイかもしれません、ネットなどで調べて理解してから参加した方が良いと思います。コスパも良いしワイキキ集合で時間の無駄も無いこのツアーは次も参加すると思います。

We boarded the Holokai Catamaran and quickly arrived at a point where we could see the beachside hotels of Waikiki. During the ride, we received explanations in English and were given life jackets. When I asked if wearing a life jacket was mandatory, I was told it wasn't required, but it was at our own risk. There was no worry about not seeing sea turtles, as they were coming up to the surface to breathe all around us. There was also a tour company nearby doing scuba diving. One slight disappointment was that there weren't many colorful tropical fish or coral at this point. However, there was plenty of time to enjoy snorkeling. After getting back on the boat, we were offered chips and chocolate (free), and drinks like guava juice and beer (for a fee) as we slowly began sailing. Since it was December, we went whale watching and saw a few in the distance. Given the price, the service was good, and I was satisfied with the experience. I highly recommend it!

ホロカイ・カタマラン号に乗り込み、しばらく走るのかと思いきや、ワイキキのビーチサイドホテルが目視できるポイントにすぐ到着。走っている最中に説明(英語)を受けライフジャケットを受け取ります。ライフジャケットの着用は義務か聞くと無しでもOKしかし、自己責任。ウミガメがあちこちで水面に呼吸しに来るので会えない見られないという心配はないと思います。すぐ側でスキューバダイビングをしているツアー会社も居ました。少し残念なのはカラフルな熱帯魚や珊瑚はあまりいないポイントでした。シュノーケリングを楽しむには十分な時間が設けられています。船にあがりチップスやチョコを頂き(無料)飲み物はグアバジュースやビール(有料)ゆっくりとセーリング開始。12月だったためホエールウォッチング。遠目に少しだけ見れました。お値段の割にサービスも良く、内容にも満足です。おススメです!!

We had very exciting time. We were kind of scared since that was our first time and we are not good swimmers. But it was very safe and we enjoyed very much. Chieko and Dan, they are very professional and they led us to a sea turtle!

The weather on the day we went was a bit disappointing, and it was cold when we went into the sea (laughs), but we were able to see sea turtles, and snorkeling was really fun with so many fish! The ocean was truly beautiful! The hamburgers we ate on the boat were also delicious!!
