My child (elementary school student) started shivering from the cold, so we both decided to retire early, but my husband was able to see the turtles. Our child loves the ocean and pools and usually doesn't want to get out, so it must have been really tough for them. It was indeed cold and challenging even for adults. The swimming speed was fast, making it hard to keep up. Other children participated as well, but all of them ended up retiring. I think it's better to schedule activities for children or elderly participants during warmer water temperature periods. However, we were able to see many large fish in the ocean, and the transportation and entry process was smooth with no waiting. Those not on the tour had to stand in a long line to buy tickets. I would like to try again during a time when the water temperature is higher.

子供(小学生)が寒がり震えだしたので、私と2人で途中リタイアでしたが、主人はカメを見ることが出来ました。うちの子は海、プール大好きで、なかなか上がってこないような子なので、よっぽど辛かったようです。確かに大人でも寒くて大変でした。
泳ぐスピードも早くてついていくのも大変です。
子どもはうちの子以外にも参加していましたが、全員リタイアでした。
お子様や年配の方が参加する場合は水温が高い時期にした方が良いかと思います。
しかし、海の中では大きな魚も沢山見られましたし、
送迎から入場までスムーズで待つことも無かったです。ツアー以外の方はチケットを買うのにかなり長い行列に並んでいました。
水温が高い時期に再チャレンジしたいです。

I signed up for this tour because I wanted to swim with dolphins. On the day of the tour, I was a bit groggy from waking up early, but Juli, our guide, was there to lead us!

Despite it being early in the morning, she was so talkative! I worried if I could keep up, but as I listened to Juli, I gradually got to know her personality. Her love for dolphins and her desire to have a fun tour drew us in as well.

On the way there, the driver provided a tour guide in English. It's not a big deal, but I learned a lot of things I wouldn't have known if I had been traveling by rental car. It was surprisingly good.

The crew consisted of three women and Captain Bob. One of them could speak Japanese, but even if you're worried about your English, it's not a problem. Everyone was friendly and fun.

The sandbar is just a shallow area offshore, so there's nothing particularly special, but you can practice snorkeling or play beach volleyball. I thought about walking to the end, but there were larger stones (pieces of coral) along the way, and it hurt my feet without sandals. It was also too wide to reach the end.

Next was turtle watching. This time, there were few turtles. However, there were a lot of mantas that came very close to the boat.

While snorkeling, there was a large turtle right nearby. After taking a ton of photos, I circled around the coral reef that spans about 1 km. When I returned to the boat to take a break, I spotted a shark. It seemed to be sleeping, so I dove down and got about a meter close to it.

There were many unexpected discoveries, and it was incredibly fun.

サンドバーは沖合の浅瀬というだけで特段何もないが、シュノーケルの練習やビーチ（？）バレーができる。端まで歩こうと思ったが、途中から大きめの石（サンゴのかけら）が多くなりサンダルがないと足が痛い。そもそも広すぎて端まで行けなかった。

次にタートルウォッチング。今回は亀は少なかった。しかし、マンタが大量にいて船のすぐ近くまで来てくれた。

シュノーケルでは、大きな亀がすぐ近くにいた。写真を撮りまくった後、周囲１Kmあるサンゴ礁をぐるりと一周。船に戻って休憩しよと思ったらサメを発見。寝ているようだったので素潜りで１ｍぐらいまで近づいてみた。

想定外の発見がいろいろあってめちゃくちゃ楽しかった。

The sandbar's low tide timing was perfect... but the weather was overcast.

I was picked up at the hotel, and although it started raining on the way, it stopped when we arrived. Then it rained again when we got on the boat, but it stopped once more. I was most concerned about the water level, but it was low, and we actually had a sandy beach! ❤
The staff were kind and friendly, taking photos with us and even acting as photographers, so we got a lot of great pictures. ✌
Right after that, we went snorkeling, and the staff provided very thorough instructions on putting on life jackets and masks, checking everything, and practicing to ensure that even first-timers could do it safely.
During snorkeling, the staff were always with us, making sure we didn't bump into the coral and showing us where the turtles were, so we could enjoy watching beautiful fish and turtles while feeling safe.
The BBQ on the boat was also very delicious, and we really had a great time and made wonderful memories.
Thank you so much to all the friendly staff. I definitely want to use this tour again when I visit Hawaii next time.

The day after the wedding, eight family members from both sides (ages 21 to 65) participated. The weather was nice, and we enjoyed walking slowly along the sandbar together. We took a lot of photos, and the staff were kind and helpful, which we appreciated.

For snorkeling, we were told we would swim in a spot where our feet wouldn't touch the bottom for 20 minutes. Since both mothers from each family were not confident, I decided to stay back as well. However, we were able to rent a boat and snorkel in shallower areas, which was a lot of fun. We even got to swim with sea turtles in the shallow water! By the way, my 65-year-old father really enjoyed snorkeling too (laughs).

The BBQ lunch was buffet-style, and the meat was tastier than I expected! There were also desserts. The staff were attentive and asked if we wanted more juice, which made us very satisfied!

I traveled to Hawaii without deciding what to do and made reservations on-site. I booked the Segway and Kualoa Ranch by phone, but it was inconvenient without a local number. However, with Veltra, everything was done via email and in Japanese, which was super convenient...!!!

On Saturday morning, I wanted to go to the farmers' market featured in the manga "Chatterbox After Breakfast," so I reserved the afternoon barbecue lunch option.

Basically, wearing a swimsuit is fine. I wore a bikini-style swimsuit that looked almost like clothes, along with a cover-up and a T-shirt, and most people around me were dressed similarly.

Depending on the weather, the day I went was not great, and it was really cold. I passed by the morning group at the dock, and everyone looked cold, but aside from that, it was really good.

- The barbecue lunch was a buffet style on the boat, and surprisingly delicious.
- I encountered a sea turtle. It came close to the boat as if the captain was keeping it. It swam right next to us.
- The snorkeling was fun with high visibility.
- For those who want to try stand-up paddleboarding, it's available! I didn't do it, but I regretted not trying.

基本的に水着を着てけばオーケー。わたしはビキニタイプのほぼ洋服みたいな水着に、はおりもの＋Tシャツでいきましたが、周りもほとんど同じような感じです。

天候によりますが、わたしが行った日は天候に恵まれず、すごく寒かったです。。
船着場で午前便の人たちとすれ違ったのですが、皆さん寒そうでファンになりましたが、寒い、という以外はすごくよかったです。

-バーベキューランチは船上でビュッフェすたいるなんだけど、以外と美味しい。
-ウミガメ遭遇しました。キャプテンが飼ってるんじゃないかというくらい船に寄ってくる。リアルに横を泳ぐ。
-シュノーケルも透明度高くて楽しかった
-Supやりたい人は体験可能！これやらなかったんだけど、やればよかったと後悔。
-飲み物はホットのコーヒーとお茶もある
-写真は後日一枚、ウェブからダウンロード可能

ウェットスーツも希望者に無料で貸し出してくれます。
船上での販売物として、写ルンです(防水)、ビーチシューズ、ラッシュガード、Tシャツ、酔い止め防止バンドなどあります。相場より並外れて高いというほどではないので、購入してもいいかも。防水デジカメの貸し出しもあるそうです。

持って行ってよかったのは携帯の防水ケース。時間と時期によるのか、わたしが行った日はだいぶ水があって、ガイドブックに載ってるような干上がった美しい砂浜はなかったです。常に胸下から肩くらいまでの水位。普通の携帯なら確実に水没します。

タオルは普通サイズのタオルでいったんだけど、少し大きめか、いっそバスタオルがよかったかも。寒かったから。

The Japanese guide and all the staff were very cheerful and made the experience enjoyable! However, the weather was bad with rain and wind, and it was very cold, so we couldn't see any beautiful scenery at all... Everyone was shivering... It made me want to go home early. There's nothing we can do about the weather, though. This is part of the nature experience. Towards the end, they served us warm drinks, which was a relief. To be honest, I wish they had served them a bit earlier.

Waikiki was in the rainy season, and on that day, it was pouring rain on and off. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but my parents (in their 60s) and my 10-year-old child really enjoyed snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. The water temperature was low and a bit chilly, so we rented suits for $10 on the day. The guide, who also provided transportation, was very kind, and the three of us, being first-time snorkelers, were very pleased with the attentive service. I definitely recommend going with a guide!

I stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village and mistakenly misunderstood the meeting place until the day of the event, and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. I was unsure of what to do, so I was grateful to receive a call on the day. I would like to try again when I travel next time, hopefully in clear weather!

I signed up for this tour despite a busy schedule. The meeting time wasn't too early in the morning, and I was able to make it without any issues after breakfast. The meeting place was also close to the hotel, so I didn't get lost, but it's important to note that there were other tour groups at the meeting spot. It takes just under an hour by bus to reach the boarding location.

There were many Japanese participants on the boat, and the guide was also Japanese, making for a friendly atmosphere. We arrived at the sandbar about 20 minutes after departure. This time, the water was only ankle-deep due to low tide, which was surprising to find such a shallow area offshore.

We spent about an hour at the sandbar, enjoying volleyball with the guide and local staff. We had lunch (hamburgers) prepared by the local staff and went turtle watching. From the boat, we were able to see about 3 to 5 turtles. After that, we snorkeled for about an hour. While it’s said that you can occasionally see turtles while snorkeling, we didn’t spot any this time. However, there were various fish swimming around, and time flew by quickly.

I think this is a cost-effective tour.

サンドバーで約1時間ほどいましたが、ガイドさんや現地スタッフとのバレーボールを楽しめました。
現地スタッフが作ってくれた昼ご飯（ハンバーガー）を食べ、ウミガメウォッチです。船上からですが、3～5匹ほど見ることができました。
その後は1時間ほどのシュノーケリングで、まれにウミガメを見ることができるそうですが、今回は見ることができませんでした。ただ、魚がいろいろと群がっており、あっという間に時間は過ぎていきました。

費用対効果の高いツアーだと思います。

I chose this tour because Captain Bruce's tour can take you to the shallowest spots, and although it was a bit pricey, I wanted to ensure a good experience. I checked the low tide times and made a reservation, but the water was up to my knees. I was disappointed. To reach the shallowest area, you have to wade through water up to your waist, so be prepared to get wet. It was unfortunate that the weather was bad and I couldn't see the views I was hoping for. True to its name, we were able to see sea turtles that we would never have encountered on our own and swim alongside them, which got both me and my child really excited. I’m not a strong swimmer and felt scared because of the depth, but Fumio held my hand and guided me, so I was able to enjoy it without any fear.

I didn't check the local tide chart, and the shuttle bus got caught in an accident-related traffic jam, which caused us to arrive at the port a bit late. As a result, the tide wasn't as low as I had imagined for walking on the sandbar, and the sandbar was submerged up to my knees. I was a little disappointed because I wanted to explore the sandbar. It seems that if you want to get onto the sandbar, it's best to check the tide chart and make a reservation. That said, the BBQ hamburger was exquisite. So delicious. The homemade ketchup and mayo sauce combined with the hamburger were just perfect, and it was worth eating just that. My whole family, including my kids (one girl and one boy, both in elementary school), had double burgers with double patties. The weather was bad, but we saw three sea turtles, and snorkeling in the clear ocean was amazing. My kids and I had plenty of fun just snorkeling. If the weather had been good, it would have been perfect!

現地の潮位表を確認しなかったのに加え、送迎バスも事故渋滞にはまって港に到着するのが少し遅れたこともあって、イメージしたサンドバーで砂洲の上を歩くような潮位にはならず、砂洲は膝下に水没した状態でした。砂洲を散策したかったので少し残念。砂洲にあがりたければ潮位表を確認して予約するのが良いみたい。とは言え、BBQのハンバーガーは絶品。うまい。自分で作るケチャップとマヨのソースとハンバーグがばっちりgoodでこれだけでも食べる価値有り。子供ともども家族全員パテダブルのダブルバーガーにしてもらいました。天候が悪かったけどウミガメは３匹見られたし、透明度の高い海でのシュノーケリングは最高。子供（女×１、男×１、ともに小学生）ともどもシュノーケルだけでも充分楽しめました。天気が良かったら最高だったのにな～。

I highly recommend it. It's right by Waikiki Beach, so you can enjoy it without wasting time and be very satisfied! I was surprised to see about five sea turtles up close. This was my first time snorkeling like this, and I was really moved. We also saw whales spouting from a distance while sailing! Plus, it ends at 11:30 (but actually lasts a solid three hours), so you can do other things in the afternoon, which is fantastic. Snacks are all-you-can-eat!

ウミガメさんも5匹くらい普通に見れて結構そばに寄ってくれてびっくりしました☆

I participated in the morning of April 6th. The weather in Honolulu was a bit iffy, but it was nice to see clear skies once we arrived. There were only four of us, including my husband and me, so we could swim at a leisurely pace.

The visibility was a bit questionable when the weather turned cloudy, but the colorful fish swimming around made the underwater scenery beautiful! Our guide helped us find a honu, and I was able to swim with one!

It was my first time snorkeling, but our guide, Fumio, was always attentive, which made me feel safe while swimming. I had so much fun that I wished I could swim longer!

There was also a large sea lion napping on the beach! The guide mentioned that you can only see them a few times a year, so we were very lucky. I'm really glad we chose this tour with an expert guide instead of just going on our own or a transfer-only tour!

参加者は私達夫婦の他にもう一組ご夫婦の4人だけだったのでゆったり泳げました。
透明度はお天気が途中から曇ったりして微妙でしたが色とりどりの魚が泳いでいたりして海の中はとても綺麗！ガイドさんがホヌを探してくれて一頭のホヌと泳ぐ事が出来ました！！

もっと泳いでいたいと思うくらい楽しかったです^ ^

個人で行ったり送迎のみのツアーではなく、達人ガイド付きのこのツアーにして本当に良かったです！！

Our guide was cheerful, efficient (this is important when getting novices into a wetsuit!), and informative. She asked us what we wanted to see, and when my daughter said turtles, she took us straight to two turtles after an introductory snorkel lesson. This was my second trip to Hawaii, and I was so glad I finally took a lesson. For the next week, I was able to finally relax, enjoy, and see a lot of interesting sea life. The snorkel at Haunama was spectacular also.

Since I was planning to go to the North Shore in the afternoon, I chose this plan without a shuttle service. I arrived by rental car, and although there was no bench at the meeting point "Deli," the local staff were accommodating, so it wasn't a problem. I was worried about whether the tour would proceed due to the rain in the morning, but we only experienced a delay in preparation because of the rain, and we departed 15 minutes later with two boats. Everyone was Japanese, and it seemed that many participants were those who had taken the shuttle from Waikiki. Perhaps there was a Japanese-speaking guide. Despite the rain getting stronger at times, I didn't feel seasick, and we were able to see both sea turtles and manta rays. The water at Sandbar was about knee-deep, but I was very satisfied that we could land there. I didn't have high expectations for snorkeling, but there were life jackets available, so it was completely fine even if you couldn't swim. There were about 40 people swimming in lines along the coral reef, and since the time was limited and we swam the same route back and forth, it was crowded. My child was more concerned about bumping into the feet of the person in front or hitting the coral rather than looking at the fish, so it might have been better to wait on the boat. The participants were obedient to the instructions of the two Japanese female staff members, but one was kind while the other couldn't hide her condescending attitude. 午後にノースショアへ行く予定だったので、送迎ナシでこのプランを選びました。レンタカーで到着し、集合場所の「Deli」のベンチはなかったですが、現地のスタッフが対応してくれて問題なかったです。朝から雨で催行されるのか不安でしたが、雨で準備が遅れただけで二船で１５分後に出航しました。全員日本人で、ワイキキからの送迎による参加の方が多かったようです。もしかしたら日本語ガイド付きだったのかもしれません。ときおり強くなる雨の中、酔う事もなく、ウミガメもマンタも見られて、サンズバーは膝ぐらいでしたが、上陸出来て大満足です。シュノーケリングはあまり期待してなかったのですが、ライフジャケットがあり、泳げなくても全然大丈夫です。４０人ぐらいでサンゴ礁に沿って数列で泳ぐ形でしたし、時間も限られ往復同じ経路を泳ぐため混みこみで、前の人の足があたるか、サンゴに足が当たるかに気をとられ、魚を見るよりそちらを気にして子供は怖がっていました。船で待っていても良かったかもしれません。参加者の皆さん、素直に二人いる日本人？女性スタッフの言うことに従っておられましたが、一人は親切、一人は上からな態度が隠せないスタッフでした。最初どちらの船に客を割り振るかの時点で、送迎バスで参加していない人の人数を把握していないのか、日本語が実は不自由なのか、乗船制限を超えて割り振った挙句、勝手に乗り込んでいる客がいるかのように横柄に振る舞い、言った言わないの水かけ論の後、謝ればいいんでしょ！と日本語でわめき、その後も忙しく準備している同僚に対し英語で自己主張し、こちらに全部非があって、完全に変な客扱い・発言で、ハワイに来て違った意味で興味深い体験でした。英語圏の人がいたらあの振る舞いはないでしょうね。でも雨の中嫌な顔一つ見せず頑張っていた現地スタッフの方たちの働きには頭が下がりました。港にはシャワーがない様子なので、タオルや防寒具など濡れた水着のまま帰る準備をしておいた方が良いと思います。荷物は船に残しておけますが、防水バッグ等はないのでそちらの準備もしておくと良いです。
