The weather was gloomy all day. The staff spoke to us in Japanese, so I was able to participate without any anxiety. Everyone was kind and taught us well.

It was cold, and I was hesitant to get into the sea. I even thought about skipping snorkeling.

But since I came all this way, I wanted to see the sea turtles!

I bravely went into the water.

As soon as I got in, I saw so many sea turtles!

For lunch, we had freshly made BBQ. It was delightful! The taste was really delicious.

I had plans in the morning and was looking for a tour in the afternoon when I found and booked this one. The guides spoke Japanese and were all friendly. The meal was a simple buffet, but with a 360-degree oceanfront view from the boat. The taste may vary depending on personal preference, but it was a luxurious lunch.

While snorkeling, I saw several sea turtles on the ocean floor, and I could see them up close! However, it can be cold in late December if it's not sunny! It's a good idea to have a warm rash guard, bath towel, and a change of T-shirt that you can wear on the boat.

I enjoyed the stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) without any additional charge, but due to safety concerns, the area where we could paddle was quite limited. Standing and paddling would end quickly, and we kept having to turn around and repeat that.

One disappointing thing was that one of the guides threw the leftover juice he was drinking into the sea. I was disheartened to see a guide, who is supposed to protect the beautiful Kaneohe Bay surrounded by coral reefs, throwing juice into the clean ocean.

午前中に予定があり、午後からのツアーを探していたところこちらのツアーを見つけて予約。
ガイドさんたちは、日本語が話せて、みんなフレンドリー。
食事は、簡単なビュッフェでしたが、船の上だと360度オーシャンフロント。味は好みもあるかと思いますが、贅沢なランチでした。

シュノーケルをしていると、海の底にウミガメが何匹もいて、間近で見る事ができます！
しかし、12月下旬の晴れていないと寒いです！
必ず船の上で着られる温かいラッシュガードやバスタオル、替えのTシャツとかがあるといいですよ。

SUPが追加料金無く実施出来て楽しめましたが、安全上の問題で、SUPの出来る範囲がかなり狭く立って漕ぐとすぐに終わり。また、Uターンし、立って漕ぐと終わり。の繰り返し…でした。

残念だった事は、ガイドさんの1人が飲んでいたジュースの残りを海に捨てていた事です。
珊瑚礁に守られた美しいカネオヘ湾を守るガイドさんが、綺麗な海にジュースを捨てるなんてガッカリしました。

I participated on December 31st, New Year's Eve. The staff were bright and friendly, and I had a great time on the bus! The day I joined, it seemed like the highest waves of the year were coming in, so I was worried about seasickness, but out in the open water, the waves weren't that bad, and I was fine. However, I think taking motion sickness medication is a must. Also, bananas are not allowed.

You can rent a wetsuit for $10, and I highly recommend doing this. Almost everyone rented one, and those who didn't ended up borrowing one after getting cold from being in the seawater. Make sure to bring cash.

As for the dolphins, they didn't show up for a while (they said they don't feed them at all), and it took some time to finally see them. However, they didn't swim close like in other people's photos; they just glided by at the bottom. This is something that can't be helped when dealing with nature.

It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't go snorkeling at the spot we were supposed to due to rough seas, and we spent a lot of time searching for dolphins, leaving us with very little time for snorkeling. However, all the staff were really nice, and I had a great time, so I'm very satisfied.

I definitely want to try again!

参加した日は今年1番の高い波がきてたらしく船酔いを心配しましたが、沖の方はそれほど波もなく自分は大丈夫でした。ただ酔い止めは必須だと思います。
あとバナナは持ってきたらダメです。

ウェットスーツを10ドルでレンタルできるのですがこれは絶対した方がいいです。ほぼ全員レンタルしており、してなかった人も一度海水から上がると冷えてきたのか結局借りてました。
現金持参しておきましょう。

肝心のイルカですが中々姿を現してくれず(餌付けは全くしてないそうです)時間かけてやっと見れましたが他の方の写真のような直近で泳いでたわけではなく、底の方をスーと通りすぎる感じでした。こればかりは自然相手なので仕方ないと思います。

海が荒れており本来行くはずだったスポットでシュノーケリングが出来なかったのと、イルカ捜索に時間かかっ
たのでほとんどシュノーケリングの時間がなかったのは少し残念でした。
ただスタッフさんみんないい人ばかりで楽しく時間過ごせたので大満足です。

またリベンジしたいと思います！

Just before the tour, I was worried because the meeting place and time changed frequently. However, I learned that many more people than expected were visiting during the year-end period, and the guide adjusted accordingly. The meeting time changed from 7:15 to 7:00, and then to 6:45 three days prior. When I actually went, there were already a lot of cars parked at that time, and more kept arriving. We entered without waiting in line for tickets, received a video briefing inside, and then started the tour. I borrowed a suit, which was great. I didn't feel too cold and was able to enjoy snorkeling. On that day, the wind was strong and the waves were high, so we didn't see any turtles, but the guide did his best to search for them. I am very grateful for the time they took, as I was already satisfied. The snorkeling lecture was simple yet easy to understand. I had a very enjoyable time and can confidently recommend it to others. (The bad weather and sea conditions on the day were not the tour's fault, so that's just luck.) On the way back, around 9:30, there was a long line at the ticket counter (it looked like it would take a while to get in), so I thought that if you come during this time, you either need to join a tour or leave Waikiki by 7:00 to avoid waiting in line.

We have been snorkelling a couple of times but this was different. We saw so many turtles and fish. Great fun for our teenage kids. The boat team were fun, experienced and professional. The boat was spotless and well maintained. The sail after snorkelling was a bit rough going out due to the weather but that made it more fun! Coming back was smooth and relaxing. Free snacks on board and drinks reasonably priced.

Becoming aware early in the morning a boat is needed to go to the beautiful Kane’ohe sandbar, I called Veltra trying to make a same-day kayak booking (online booking must be made a day beforehand). The lady was warm and patient to help check availability and input personal data of four participants - most important of all get 2 tandems confirmed for our trip! When we checked in at He’eia Kea State Park, water in the bay was a bit choppy, yet not enough for a formal cancellation. Two ladies in our group saw the condition creepy and had to abandon the adventure. As on the phone I was informed no cancellation can be made for the same-day booking, we had to forgo using 1 of the 2 double kayaks. Well, the trip of two-go is simply AMAZING!

It was the best sea! You can rent bodyboards, snorkeling gear, and mats for free. The sand is fine and the waves are strong, so snorkeling is difficult. I got hooked on bodyboarding! The pizza for lunch was big and very delicious. The kids finished it all! There is a Japanese staff member who provides thorough explanations, which is reassuring. There are also bicycle rentals, but since it's for ages 13 and up, we couldn't do that and enjoyed the sea the whole time. Thank you very much.

【What I Liked】
It's not just exaggerated promotional phrases; you can really swim with the sea turtles. I was also able to see dolphins up close. The sea turtles and dolphins in the area we were taken to seemed to be quite relaxed and accustomed to humans. They were truly adorable...
Additionally, the Japanese staff were extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. I participated in a couple of other marine activity tours, but this one stood out for its exceptional kindness. I highly recommend it!

【Advice for Future Participants】
Definitely take motion sickness medication. I usually have a strong sense of balance and have never experienced seasickness, but I got quite seasick on this tour... I don't usually exercise, so swimming was very tough for me, and I think that contributed to it. In any case, it's better to take the medication, so make sure to do so!!

【気に入ったところ】
　大袈裟な宣伝文句ではなく、本当にホヌといっしょに泳げるところです。イルカもかなり近いところから見ることができました。連れて行っていただいた海域のホヌやイルカは警戒心が薄く、人間に慣れている感じがしました。本当にかわいかったです……。

　酔い止めは絶対に飲みましょう。三半規管はかなり強い方で、船酔いをしたことはなかったのですが、このツアーではしたたかに酔いました……。ふだん運動をしないので、泳ぐのが非常につらく、そのせいもあると思います。とにかく飲んで損はないので酔い止めを飲みましょう！！

I participated in this tour for the first time in seven years. The members were the same as seven years ago, so it was fun to see people who had changed in appearance and those who hadn’t changed at all.

Now, the guide who picked us up in the morning spoke suspicious Japanese, and during the car ride, he explained everything in English without any warnings, and we arrived at the destination. At the local boat, they provided proper assistance in Japanese. What was wonderful was that we had about an hour for sandbar, turtle watching, and snorkeling, so even my wife, who can't swim, had a great time snorkeling with a life jacket and float. Perhaps we looked like we were having too much fun, as my parents in their 70s decided to try snorkeling for the first time! However, they needed help right away ( ;∀; ). They said they were still okay, but I think it was a nice decision to get assistance.

For lunch, we had hamburgers, which were very delicious, and I wanted a second helping. Also, the crew here was very cheerful and lifted our spirits with their "Aloha!" greetings. The guide who picked us up in the morning played the guitar and sang during lunchtime, which seemed to be part of his job. Overall, it was a great experience. I would like to participate again when my daughter is able to snorkel.

現地の船では日本語できちんと対応してもらいました。すばらしいのは、サンドバーとカメウォッチ、さらにはシュノーケルが１Ｈぐらいあったので、泳げない嫁でも、ライフジャケットと浮棒？でとても楽しくシュノーケルをしていました。今回あまりに私たち夫婦が楽しそうにみえたのか？、７０代の両親がシュノーケリングに初挑戦！！したところ・・・すぐにヘルプで助けられました( ;∀;)
本人曰くまだまだ大丈夫だったはずと言っていますが、やっぱり助けて頂いたのはナイス判断だったと思います。
ランチは、ハンバーガーでしたがとてもおいしく、おかわりがほしいくらいでした。また、ここのクルーはとても陽気でアローーーーーーーハァーのあいさつで気分を楽しくしてくれました。朝迎えに来たガイドは、ランチタイムに、ギターを弾いて歌っていましたが、結局それが仕事みたいでした。全体的にとても良かったです。娘がシュノーケリングできるようになったらまた参加したいと思いました。

Everything was amazing.
I want to go to the sandbar again.

I was also surprised by the high quality of the hamburgers. Both the taste and the portion size were perfect.
It was great to have a wide variety of drinks as well.

Everything was good, but the instruction on how to use the snorkel really stood out. I felt like I was having fun for the first time with snorkeling! I was able to swim with many fish.

I had my kids with me, and there were preparations like children's goggles and life jackets, so the kids enjoyed it too.

It was a really great tour. I highly recommend it.

Every year i come to Hawaii i get the bicycle and ride to my spots and just relax. When the time is right, head on back and eat some Pizza! I wanted to kayak to the island, but got sidetracked scuba diving. I am going back again in May and will be doing this for sure!

First, it's a good idea to thoroughly check the tide schedule and book your tour on a day when the low tide aligns with the sandbar experience. This will determine everything about the tour. We went on a day with a water depth of about 60 cm (which was the best day for us). Since we were aware of this, we weren't disappointed, and even with a water depth of 60 cm, it was still an amazing experience, so we enjoyed it thoroughly.

During the snorkeling, although there weren't many types, we were able to see a lot of fish. For lunch, we had healthy food, which is great during a trip when it's easy to lack vegetables. On the day we went, there was a decent amount of wind, so the sea kayaking was canceled, but we were able to do a little bit of stand-up paddleboarding (they teach you how to ride beforehand), and the kids could play with floaties and on the sea carpet, allowing us to spend a very fulfilling time. ウミガメも一匹見られましたよ！

There were plenty of fish while snorkeling, and we also played beach volleyball. The weather that day wasn't very good, but I had a great time! The staff were all very kind, and I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

As a first time snorkelling experience this was great . I was apprehensive as no one in our group knew how to swim but dan was so Patient and helpful . When one in our group almost gave up in the water he encouraged and helped to see the amazing sea life hanauma bay offers . I would definitely recommend this to first time snorkellers .

Not worth the price...Good views, ok snorkeling. Sandbars was a let down. Not good for beginners and kids.

Views were great on the boat tour.
The sand bar activity was a total let down. Many of us were thinking they will start a volleyball game, but soon they were packing the net back! ?! There was basically nothing to do in the sand bar given that.

Then the turtle watching was fun. Then snorkeling was ok.
They do not help out beginners in any way. We asked them multiple times if one of them can come with us for helping out.. but no response.

Given the price, i would rate this ok overall..
