We did the Diamond Head and Manoa Falls hikes. Both were very different and beautiful in their own ways. We are glad we did the Diamond Head hike in the early hours and were able to do the Mania Falls hike during the heat of the day since it was a cooler hike. Advice: take plenty of bug spray for the Manoa Falls hike! And as a side note, Romero our tour driver was fantastic! He told us some local history and gave us advice on places to go and eat.

It was an adventurous hike!
But we were able to go back and forth safely.
Along the way, the guide frequently explained about the plants and animals, which was very interesting.
The explanations were in English, and there were hardly any Japanese participants, but it was a good opportunity to study English and a valuable experience for communication in English.

The pickup was about 20 minutes late, which made me a bit anxious, but when I relaxed and waited, they came and found me.

It was nice that they kindly drove us back as well!

The zipline at Kualoa Ranch is a great option. One of the advantages of the Keana Farm is that you can choose the zipline alone, which is not possible at Kualoa, and it includes round-trip transportation. At Kualoa, you can opt for round-trip transportation if you select other tours like the buggy, but if you choose the zipline alone, transportation is not included, making it difficult to get there.

You will zipline seven times with a group of ten people and three local foreign guides over about three hours. The tour description mentions a buggy ride (1.5 hours), but this does not refer to a self-driven buggy like at Kualoa, nor is it actually 1.5 hours; it refers to about a 20-minute buggy ride between the first and second ziplines.

While it seems like snacks are included, it's better to assume there will be almost none. The ziplining itself is very enjoyable, and the foreign guides are cheerful and entertaining. They are also very thorough about safety, which gives a sense of reassurance that the staff is well-trained.

Perhaps because it’s a tour for foreigners, the pickup vehicle did not arrive at the scheduled time (laughs). It takes about an hour and a half to get to Keana Farm from Waikiki, which felt very far. It was amazing!!! At first, I was scared, but I was helped by a kind and funny instructor! I didn't have any particular worries! However, I was picked up at 5 PM and finished flying by 8 PM, and the bus back to Waikiki didn't leave until 11 PM, so I just slept on a bench for three hours. I do want to fly again next year, but I think I'll go by rental car then.

This was probably one of our more strenuous/lengthier hikes (water and proper footwear are highly recommended- it can get slippery on the trail). It was a lot of fun. We did cross some streams which were a bit difficult for some. You will get sweaty, wet, and dirty. No bathrooms, of course, so be prepared.
Great views. Tour guide was excellent, very passionate, helpful, and knowledgeable! Lunch was pretty good- everyone seemed to like it. Private mountain pool swim was enjoyed by most.

My husband was the one who actually went skydiving, and I attended as a spectator. We were picked up on time and arrived at the site in just over an hour. During the bus ride, we watched a Japanese DVD about the skydiving waiver. After arriving, we received explanations about camera shooting and checked off the items we wanted. All of this explanation was in English. I was glad that my husband, who cannot speak any English, didn't have to go alone.

Then it was his turn, and he received a brief explanation in Japanese before taking off in a Cessna. About 10 to 15 minutes later, we saw the parachute in the sky as he descended. According to my husband, it was over in a flash, but he had a great time and wants to do it again! At first, it was hard to breathe, but by the time he got used to it, the parachute had opened.

He had the camera take pictures and videos, which we bought for $200. It was an expensive purchase, but it became a nice keepsake.

We participated as a family of four at my son's request. Although the morning meeting was early, we arrived quickly and were back at the hotel by 10 AM after the flight took off right away. Based on experiences I had read, I thought we would return around 1 PM, so we were able to make good use of our time after getting back.

There are various types of guides who fly with you. Some are very cheerful, some provide detailed explanations, and others casually guide while fiddling with their phones... Well, I guess there are all kinds of people in Japan too?

I purchased videos and photos, and I requested the type of camera that the guide flying with us had. I regret not choosing a different guide who could take photos from a distance, as that would have resulted in more dynamic videos. Since the price wasn't much different, I recommend requesting a different guide if you can!

もう一人別のガイドさんが飛んでくれると、離れた所から撮影してもらえるので臨場感あふれる動画が取れてそちらにすればよかったと後悔しています・・・
値段はそんなに変わらなかったので、頼むなら別のガイドさんをお願いすることをおすすめおすすめします！

We stopped by the beach to see the sea turtles, and there was over an hour of free time for hiking in Haleiwa. It was packed with activities, but our guide managed the time very well, allowing us to enjoy everything without wasting any time. We also had a lot of conversations in the car, learning various things about Hawaii, which was very educational! Since I love plants, the guide taught us the names of mango trees and many Hawaiian flowers.

In Haleiwa, to make the most of our time, the guide recommended ordering garlic shrimp, which was incredibly delicious compared to what I had the day before in Waikiki.

We had plenty of time for the hiking course while waiting for those participating in the horseback riding tour. After hiking, we could relax and have tea, so rather than feeling like we were waiting, we could stroll at our own pace and enjoy shaved ice, which was a good balance.

I would love to join the same plan again and see the sea turtles that I missed this time!

また同じプラン参加して、今回見れなかった海がめを見たいです！

A GREAT DAY AT THE RANCH...

The wife and I had never been to Hawaii or on a Zip Line before, but being from southern Arizona, we love horseback riding and the ranch lifestyle. The ranch is a beautiful place and is adorned with beautiful flowers, green trees, awesome views and a lot of history. Our horseback ride was awesome. I wish we had done the 2 hour ride. Bravo is a great looking buckskin who was relatively new to the herd. I really enjoyed riding him. He was just a tiny bit ornery at first, which made him more fun to ride, but nothing an experienced rider couldn't handle. He settled in nicely and we got to see some spectacular views. Lunch was good and filling. Then it was out to the zip lines. Our bus driver/guide was great. She was funny and very informative and knowledgeable. A real pleasure. Now I know what pipi is. LOL... You will see some pipi as this is an active pipi ranch. The zip lines were awesome. The guides were informative and knowledgeable and always make you feel safe and secure. There are cameras on some of the zip lines and a bridge. The pics didn't come out very good and were expensive to purchase. We found three that were sort of ok. If you bring a camera on the zip lines, you will probably get some pretty good shots but tether it to your body. If you drop your camera or phone or anything else, it's gone for good. They do have lockers at base camp to lock your stuff in while you are on the zip lines. There are a couple of uphill hikes between zip lines, (maybe 100 feet or so), that can be strenuous for someone out of shape and those paths have some loose gravel. Wear shoes that will be comfortable and work well with some loose uphill terrain. Tennis shoes work fine or hiking boots. There are also a couple of water stops along the tour. Great to have a ride there and back to our hotel and water provided. Way too much time left in the park though. Our entire group was done the hike in about an hour and had to wait another hour and a half for him to return.

I was worried about being able to ride a horse, but the horses were well-trained, and I was able to ride without any issues. The staff was very kind and took beautiful photos with my phone. Walking at sunset while looking at the beautiful Hawaiian sea was very elegant, and the sunlight was not too strong, making it comfortable.

I was picked up at the hotel at 5:30 and flew out by 8:00. I think I arrived back at the hotel around 10:30. It seemed to be a day with fewer people, so everything went smoothly, which was great.

Skydiving was amazing! If you can handle the Eejanaika ride at Fuji-Q, you'll be totally fine! Haha, Eejanaika is scarier! The scariest part was the sign saying they won't take responsibility if you die.

But I definitely want to jump again!!!

ホテルを5:30ピックアップで8:00には飛びました。
帰りも10:30にはホテル着いていたと思います。
人が少ない日だったらしく、スムーズでよかったです。
