We participated with eight family members. After four years, we had one more person join us. Our grandchildren, aged three and five, were thrilled with the show and ended up dancing together at the end. The sunset was also incredibly beautiful, and the food, starting with the roast beef, was delicious. Both adults and children had a wonderful and enjoyable time.

I was looking forward to the fireworks on Friday and made a reservation, but...

1. It was nearly full and quite cramped, which is understandable.
2. The food was served on one plate. While I was struggling with the crab, the meat got cold, which diminished its deliciousness.
3. The stage had a lot going on with singing, hula, and powerful male dancing. However, since the talk was only in English, I couldn't understand it, which significantly reduced the enjoyment. At the end, they brought out a couple celebrating their wedding anniversary that month, and everyone celebrated. I regretted that we couldn't participate because we didn't understand the call.
4. The fireworks were visible, but I was left wondering if that was all there was to it...

As someone who scours reviews making sure to pick the right one, I definitely recommend this sail!!!

The crew was fantastic and extremely helpful the entirety of the trip. The boat fits a good amount of people but is still small enough to feel like you are not lost in a crowd. When leaving the dock, we saw a big group of surfers and then sailed along the entire coast up to Diamond Head. We saw a beautiful sunset, and even a pod of Hawaiian Spinner dolphins on our way out! After the sun sets, you get a great view of the city lit up at night and a beautiful view of the moon as well.

Great selection of drinks, first one is free (additional alcohol for only $6), and it’s not your usual cheap beer/wine but actually a full bar with great spirit choices!!

The price of the tour is extremely fair and we definitely would recommend this specific charter to any friends and family!!!! Thanks Moana Catamaran for a great evening!

On Friday, during the Hilton's fireworks night, I participated in the lobster and steak menu.

First, we each went to the table where the appetizers were set up to grab various crackers, cheeses, and fruits. The blue cheese was delicious. Bread and salad were already on the table from the start. A large lobster was served, followed by tender steak. The lobster came with a sauce that tasted like butter and ponzu, and the steak was also tasty.

During the meal, we were served champagne and two large cocktails, the last of which had sherbet in it and was delicious, along with cake and coffee or tea. I was so full it was uncomfortable.

In the meantime, there were two singers, a saxophonist, and several Hawaiian dances, and after watching the fireworks, everyone danced in a circle. They really knew how to get the crowd excited. However, there were too many people, and it seemed cramped for the performers. It might be better to limit the number of guests a bit.

Overall, the food was delicious, the performers were enjoyable, and although it was expensive when converted to Japanese yen, I was glad I participated. Also, during the fireworks, everyone got up and went to the aisles, so if you were seated, you couldn't see anything, leaving no choice but to stand. I thought it would be better to prohibit standing in the aisles.

最初前菜が用意されているテーブルに各々取りに行ってクラッカーやチーズ各種とフルーツを取りに行きました。ブルーチーズが美味しかった。
パンとサラダは最初からテーブルにありました。大きいロブスターがでできてその後柔らかいステーキがでました。ロブスターはバターとポン酢みたいなソース付でステーキも美味しかった。
その間にシャンパンと大きなグラスのカクテル2杯がでで、最後のカクテルはシャーベットが入っていて美味しかった、あとケーキとコーヒーか紅茶。
お腹が一杯で苦しかった。
その間に歌手が2人とサックスの演奏とハワイの踊りが数種類で花火を見たあとはみんなで輪になって踊りました。盛り上げ方が上手。
でも人が入りすぎていてショーをやる人が狭そうだった。お客さんの人数をもう少し控えた方がいいかも。
全体的にみるとお料理は美味しかったし、ショーの人たちは楽しかったし日本円にしたら高かったけど参加してよかった。
あと花火の時みんなが席を立って通路に行ってしまうので、座っていると見えないのでみんな席を立つしかなかった。立ち見を禁止すればいいのにと思った。

This was my first time participating. I had a hard time deciding on the course for the meal, but since it was my first time, I went with the buffet to see what it was like. The taste was better than I had imagined, but I felt it would have been even better with a few more options.

You can choose between alcoholic and non-alcoholic Mai Tais, but I found the alcoholic version to be quite strong, and I wished I had gone with the non-alcoholic one.

The sunset was beautiful from the boat, and the night view of Waikiki from the sea was really lovely! Considering the boarding time, scenery, atmosphere, and food, I think the price is reasonable. I would love to go again if I have the chance.

My wife and I enjoyed the sunset cruise. Although it was an issue or two, they should try to be resolved the last time I took the cruise. I was able to be out on the outside on the deck at the sunset. Got to take some amazing pictures . This time we are in line for the buffet when is sunset. I think the time should be adjusted if the time is earlier when the sun sets. The whole purpose of a sunset cruise is to be able to watch the sunset and not be called to the buffet table to get your meal. My wife really enjoyed the Buffay food. She said it was very good as a picky eater. She ate a little bit of everything and enjoyed it.

I will verify the timing of other cruises before I would take the cruise again as the whole purpose was to be able to watch the sun set

There were many people from Japan, and many of them participated in aloha shirts and dresses. I think the Japanese guests probably chose the lobster course, but even the one-star option was more than satisfying! The crab legs, in particular, were very delicious!! The entertainment during the meal and the views from the cruise were also fantastic, making for great memories!! I think this tour is perfect for anniversaries and special occasions!!

We were a little apprehensive about getting a boat from the sandy beach, but it was all beautifully managed and we enjoyed a really good trip and a lovely sunset.
We were able to sit still and enjoy the drink and nibbles we had brought with us, while others enjoyed moving around onto the net to enjoy being really near the water. Even a little child under one year was there!
I would recommend this to anyone. A few steps through water and up into the boat led to a wonderful trip.

Disappointing evening

Pick-up was perfect, complimentary Mai Tai was lovely, but the sunset was hard to savour in the middle of queuing, collecting food and eating! The food was okay.
We chose the trip for the sunset and traditional dancing, but the dancing was evidently lovely BUT hard to see as the girls were not raised up and one needed to look round other people and tables.
We had a nice wander to the top of the boat which was great! BUT the ‘entertainment’ was done by a guitarist who couldn’t sing above a certain pitch and girls who followed his very out of tune singing. I suppose the other passengers got up and took part, as they felt that was expected but we found that part excruciating!
Overall not worth the money.

The cruise and dinner content were satisfying. We could also see the fireworks from the Hilton from the ship.

However, the bus from the meeting point to the ship took a long time to depart, and I believe we arrived quite late compared to other guests boarding the cruise.

As for the seating, it seems that aside from the reserved seats, it was on a first-come, first-served basis, and our seats were not very good. That was disappointing.

We used the 3-star window-side guaranteed plan for our honeymoon with my wife. This is my third time boarding since I was a child. The seating space on the ship is narrow, but considering the age of the ship, I think it's reasonable. Some people have given poor reviews about the food, but considering the cost of living in Hawaii, I actually think it's quite good. Plus, there are shows included with the cruise. The sunset is very beautiful, and the night view of Waikiki is also stunning. The shows are impressive for what is offered on the cruise.

I've written a lot, but I was very satisfied with this boarding experience. I plan to use it again when I come to Hawaii for a special occasion.

On the last day of our family trip to Hawaii, we decided to participate in this activity to create some memories. I had been on a catamaran a few times in Hawaii (with another company), but it was the first time for my husband and our 2-year-old daughter.

There aren't many activities available for children, so the fact that our daughter could join us for free was a deciding factor.

The meeting point was inside the Outrigger Reef. It was beautifully renovated, and the Holokai counter was easy to find. We got a little lost with the map provided, but the hotel staff kindly helped us.

From there, we walked to the boarding area near Halekulani.

Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our trip, but just as the sun was setting, a gap in the clouds appeared, creating a truly wonderful memory.

Here are a few concerns that led to a four-star rating:

【Concerns】
- When we boarded, we were the only Japanese among about 30 people. It was fun to experience the international atmosphere, but the crew members did not speak Japanese, so those who are concerned about this should take note.

- The boat allows drinking. We chose not to drink, but the first drink is included at no extra charge! The international guests were drinking a lot and having a great time. Families with children or those who are not comfortable with drinking should be cautious.

そこからハレクラニ横まで徒歩で移動して乗船します。

当日はあいにく曇りでしたが、日が沈む瞬間は雲の間ができ、すごく素敵な思い出となりました。

・私達が乗船した際は、30人ほどのうち日本人は私達だけでした。海外の雰囲気を味わえて楽しかったですが、乗務員さんも日本語は話せない方なので気にする方はぜひ。

・飲酒可能な船です。私たちはお酒がのめないので選びませんでしたが、一杯目は追加料金なくお酒を楽しめます！海外の皆さんはたくさん飲んで大変盛り上がっていました。
子連れやお酒のノリが苦手な方は、注意が必要かもしれません。

・夫、娘は船酔いしてしまいました。天候にもよるかと思いますが、沖合は割と波も高く揺れました。苦手な方は酔い止め必須です！また、1時間半ほど乗るのでお気をつけください。


全体として非常に楽しく、海外の雰囲気を一緒に乗船されたみなさんからも感じられて、楽しいひとときとなりました！カタマラン船は料金も各社違うのでぜひ参考に比較いただくとよいかと思います。
