Unfortunately, the weather on the day was not great, so the event was held indoors. However, the spacious indoor setting was not a problem at all. We enjoyed the welcome drinks, additional drinks, and the food thoroughly, and the main show, despite being hosted in English, was moving. The price is a bit on the higher side, but I believe the experience is worth it.

We had a BLAST! We were scheduled on a night before Christmas, however, due to very bad weather, the Mayor kept light display “dark”. Enoa Tours provided EXCELLENT customer service! They were determined and devoted to rescheduling us or giving us a full refund! We rode on the last night of City Lights and, although Christmas had past, with our upbeat and fun driver we rocked out to a special Christmas/Sha la la playlist and waved, wished a Happy New Year to everyone we passed!
MAHALO NUI LOA Enoa Tours, we will DEFINITELY make this a Christmas tradition and invite family and friends to join us!

When I got off the trolley in front of the city hall, the giant Santa statue and the Hawaiian-style decorations were wonderful. I see the Santa statue during the day when passing by on TheBus, but its sparkling appearance at night is exceptional. Additionally, inside the city hall, there was an exhibition of Christmas wreaths made by local citizens, and the unique wreaths were impressive.

We had to wait about half an hour for the “tour” to begin. The driver mentioned a couple of places on the way to the drop off point but basically it was a bus ride to downtown where we got off the bus and walked around for an hour on our own and then boarded the bus back to the bus depot. An Uber would have been a lot cheaper.
I will not sign up for this tour again in the future.

The seats were at the edge, so I couldn't see the stage very well. It was a round table for eight, but the seats inside the table were free seating, so it's a good idea to arrive early. It felt more like a show centered around hula rather than a hula show. Since it was held inside a building, I couldn't feel the atmosphere of Hawaii. I was disappointed that I couldn't use all three drink tickets, but the food was very delicious.

Since it was my first time participating and I was the first to check in, I was able to sit in the front row on the second floor.

The venue facing the beach had a perfect atmosphere with the ambiance of the setting beach and the area illuminated by the bonfire. The food was delicious, and it was completely different from the luau I experienced at another hotel, which was very nice.

Thanks to choosing the premium seats and arriving early, I was able to enjoy the show from the front row. If you arrive late, you might end up with seats further back, so I recommend arriving at the designated time.

When I arrived at the venue, I learned that due to the weather forecast predicting rain, the meal would be indoors. The sky didn't seem like it would rain, so my excitement dropped significantly from the start.

However, the luau became enjoyable as it progressed, and I was glad I participated. The hula dance performed solo by one of the dancers was truly beautiful! It was my first time being moved by hula. I would love to see that dancer's hula again.

The food was good. So, I decided to try breakfast at Surf Lanai later, but that was not as great...

Initially, I planned to make a reservation through the hotel’s website, but it stated that there would be no performance on the Thursday during my stay. I tried booking through Veltra, and it went smoothly. Just to be sure, I inquired and they confirmed that the hotel’s website was incorrect. I appreciated their quick response.

I thought it was a bit expensive, but the show was impressive, the location was great, and the food was really delicious. The male dancers were cool!

I opted for the premium plan, but I don't think there was much difference in viewing the show. It was more about being able to eat first at the buffet. I'm not sure about the standard seats, but the seats at the very back were arranged as round tables for 5-6 people, and you could see the stage directly, so that might have been better. The show is conducted in English, but there was someone who explained the process of making clothes from tree bark in Japanese.

City Lights was very beautiful, and I was able to take lots of wonderful photos. I think it's worth a visit. There aren't many attractions until you reach the city hall, but I thought it would be even more exciting if there were cheerful music and explanations, typical of overseas experiences.

The trolley boarding and alighting spots were a bit confusing, and especially on the way back, there were many lost Japanese tourists. On the way there, it wasn't next to DFS, but at the trolley stop deep inside on the first floor, and on the way back, it was the same place as the bus stop where we got off on the way there.

シティライツは、とっても綺麗で素敵な写真もいっぱい撮れました。行って損はないと思います。市庁舎に着くまでは、特に見所はないのですが、海外らしく陽気な音楽や説明で盛り上げてくれたら、もっとワクワクするのになーと思いました。

Fortunately, a staff member from the organizer came to find me, so I made it in time, but please ensure that the meeting point is clearly confirmed and communicated.

I went sightseeing on the first day since I could go in the evening, and it was great to get a feel for the atmosphere of the city and the general direction! The meeting point for the trolley was a bit hard to find, but the driver was kind and understanding, which was nice!

The city lights were better than I expected!
