We chartered a boat for a family trip with three generations, totaling nine people. We booked the two-hour course, which turned out to be just the right amount of time to relax and enjoy meals on board. However, if you plan to have a longer meal on the boat, a longer course might be better.

We brought takeout food and drinks with us, but there were plenty of utensils provided, and it was helpful that cold drinking water was available. There was also a cooler on board, so we could keep our drinks and fruits chilled. There were two restrooms available, and we were able to bring a stroller on board as well. Although we didn't use it, there was also a microwave (or oven?!) available.

From the boat, you can see Waikiki and Diamond Head. The time spent lying outside while enjoying the panoramic view was absolutely the best!

The boat arrived at the dock about 15 minutes before the departure time. Since there isn't a waiting area like a terminal near the dock, it might be better not to arrive too early.

特に屋外で寝転がりながらパノラマビューを見ながら過ごす時間は最高でした!

船は出発時刻の15分くらい前に桟橋にやってきました。
桟橋付近にはターミナルのような待つ場所がないので、あまり早めに行かない方がいいかもしれません。

We boarded with 12 people. The yacht was larger and more beautiful than I expected, and we were able to spend a blissful time (^○^) Masa, who speaks Japanese, and the kind captain Austin prepared plenty of delicious appetizers for us, and I definitely want to use this service again! It was my first time seeing fireworks up so close!!!! Lying on the net at the front of the yacht while feeling the wind was just the best!!!! I already want to go again soon (^○^)

On the last day of our trip, I was moved to tears by a wonderful show that was perfect for concluding our journey. I recommend paying a little extra for seats closer to the front! Although it was quite pricey, it was worth every penny. My mother, who is in her mid-70s, was also deeply impressed.

With the ocean and Diamond Head as a backdrop, the show was based on history and was so moving that even those who aren't fluent in English could appreciate it. The singing and dancing were incredible and truly touched my heart.

The food was plentiful and delicious, but unfortunately, we couldn't finish it all since we don't eat much. The drink tickets included three drinks plus coffee, but we couldn't use all of our drink tickets. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Last year, I learned that there was a luau show at the Royal Hawaiian, and I participated for the first time. I was happy to hear my parents, who have seen various luau shows, say that it was great. I definitely want to repeat this experience when I stay in Waikiki. This time, we entered in time for dinner, but I am also interested in events that teach about Hawaiian culture. If you're looking to see a hula show, I had my mind set on the Aha Aina at the Royal Hawaiian. Of course, I signed up for the front row seating plan. Since the price difference between regular and front row seats is minimal, I recommend going for the front row.

The show itself was simply amazing! With mesmerizing dances, comedic performances, passionate dances, and powerful fire dances, there was never a dull moment—it flew by in no time.

The dinner included an appetizer, a main course, and a generous dessert platter, so much that I couldn't finish it all. As expected from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, everything was delicious. The ticket also included three drink vouchers, so I thoroughly enjoyed Mai Tais, Blue Hawaiis, and Piña Coladas.

I was a bit worried because there were no reviews, but it was such an amazing time that I wondered why there were no reviews! I went in March with 10 colleagues, and the two staff members were fantastic! The party was great, and we even saw whales. We had a truly memorable time!

In March, the evenings and nights in Hawaii can still be a bit chilly, especially when you're out at sea where the wind can be strong. You can swim (there's even a shower!), so I recommend wearing a long-sleeve shirt over your swimsuit that you don't mind getting wet!

We brought our own food and drinks, but everything was provided—plates, cutlery, cups, ice, you name it! They even put our snacks in a basket, making it super cute! One of the staff members spoke a little Japanese too! ❤️

It was a senior trip with three friends, and we were blessed with great weather; the sunset and location were perfect. I was able to listen to Hawaiian music live for the first time in a while, and I had a wonderful time enjoying the elegant dance and delicious food. Overall the event was nice. Food was good, but the table settings were cramped! It was uncomfortable to be so close to the person sitting next to me and trying to enjoy my food and avoid physical contact. The bar only had beer/wine and no other alcohol. The entertainment was good, but there was no dance floor or dancing!! Considering this is a NYE party and the price, there should have been dancing. Instead, they moved us from the ballroom to a 2nd floor balcony for the fireworks, but again, no dancing. We noticed the party below us had a live band and dance floor, so we ended up crashing their party. In addition, there was no transportation either by taxi or ride share after the party. We and three other couples were stranded at the hotel after the party for over 2 hours as taxi's were busy and both Uber/Lyft had no drivers available. Again, considering the price for the event and calling it a "Luxury celebration" it lacked dancing and a party atmosphere to celebrate the New Year.

Previously, I went on an evening cruise, but this time it was a countdown cruise. There was already a long line at the Hyatt Regency well before the scheduled time. About 50% of the attendees were Japanese. I wonder if the countdown in Hawaii is exaggerated quite a bit in Japan. The fireworks launched from the distant Honolulu side were, well, just ordinary.

I'm glad I chose a window seat; if it weren't for the private seating, the atmosphere could be affected by fellow passengers. Since you can't see the fireworks from your seat, it's better to move to the edge of the boat early.

以前は夕方クルーズ、今回はカウントダウンクルーズ。ハイアットリージェンシーには、時間前に既に長蛇の列だった。日本人が5割位。ハワイのカウントダウンはかなり日本でな誇張して伝わっているのだろうか。かなり遠方となるホノルル岸側であがる花火は、まぁ普通だった。
窓際席にして良かった、プライベート席じゃないと同席者によっては雰囲気左右されるだろう。席からは花火は見れないので早めに船縁に移動した方が良い。

I think the evaluation can change quite a bit depending on whether one understands the original material or the English MC, and whether they can keep up with the atmosphere of the venue.

This was my fourth trip to Hawaii, but it was my first time experiencing a full-fledged dance and dinner show. I think the concept was "traditional Hawaiian cuisine," so I can't honestly say it was "delicious," but it was a good experience.

I had allergies, so I contacted the address listed on the website in advance, but I received no reply. Even after sending a reminder, I still got no response. However, on the day of the event, when I mentioned, "I have allergies," they responded with something like, "I know, leave it to me!" and brought out dishes that accommodated my allergies. To be honest, I would have appreciated a reply if they had seen my email.

Also, it was disappointing that the scallop dish turned into a salad mainly consisting of baby greens (and without any dressing at all), which felt like a significant downgrade in the menu.

That said, the show itself, including the dance, was wonderful, and I was glad I paid a little extra to secure seats closer to the front! (The venue is quite large, and if you're at the very back, you're pretty far from the stage.)

After the show ended and we finished our meal, we left, but there were others taking photos with the dancers, so I think it's a good idea to speak up if you want to take pictures.

アレルギーがあったので事前にHPに載っていたアドレスに連絡するも返信なし、リマインドするも返信なしでしたが、当日「アレルギーがあるんだけど」と伝えたら「知ってるよ、任せて！」みたいに言われて、アレルギー対応された料理が運ばれてきました。メール見たなら返信欲しかった、というのが正直なところでした。
そして、ホタテがベビーリーフメインのサラダ（しかもドレッシング等いっさいかかっていない）になるなど、かなりランクダウンなメニューになってしまったのも残念でした。

ただ、ダンス含め、ショー自体はすばらしく、数千円上乗せして前の席を確保してよかったと思いました！（結構会場は広く1番後ろだとステージから結構遠いので）

ショーも終わり、料理も食べ終えたところで私たちは帰ったのですが、ダンサーさんたちと写真を撮ってる方もいたので、撮りたい方は声をかけてみるといいと思います。

Highlight of our holiday!

We thoroughly enjoyed the live singing and cultural experience.

The venue was next to Sheraton, we opted for premium seating which had front row seat to the show and more drinks.

The bartender who clearly wasn't happy to be there (there's table service we found which were much more pleasant), so we avoided the bartender there onwards.

The food was lovely except for the 2nd course where 4 sources of protein were served (chicken, fish, pork and something else) and it was heavy.

The highlight were the singing and dancers, we had a really lovely time and the weather was superb with the beach background and gosh what a beautiful sunset.

With the Royal Hawaiian Hotel behind us, we enjoyed a hula dance show in a charming square while learning about Hawaii's history. All the guidance was in English from the reception, but the staff were warm and welcoming, making for a very comfortable experience. The staff came to our table to confirm drink orders, and dinner was served buffet-style, allowing us to help ourselves. During the welcome activity, we could freely visit a corner showcasing traditional Hawaiian crafts from our table, taking photos and having fun. People from various countries gathered around their tables, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of an American garden party. The food was delicious, and the show was substantial, making for a truly satisfying experience!

案内は受付から全て英語ですが、スタッフの方々が温かく対応してくださりとても居心地の良い時間を過ごしました。
ドリンクはスタッフの方がテーブルまでオーダー確認に来てくださり、ディナーはビュッフェ形式で自由に取りに行けます。
ウェルカムアクティビティではハワイの伝統工芸などを見るコーナーに自分のテーブルから自由に行き来し、写真を撮ったりして楽しめました。
様々な国の方がそれぞれテーブルを囲んで盛り上がっており、まさにアメリカンなガーデンパーティーと言った雰囲気です。
お料理も美味しく、ショーの内容もボリュームがあり大満足な体験でした！

The free drink service was incredibly slow, and since I ordered a paid drink, it was relatively quick for me. However, the family sitting with us had to wait for their free drinks, which made me feel a bit guilty and uncomfortable. At the very least, they could have offered some water... that kind of consideration is not common overseas.

I was fine with not having a window seat. Even if you have a window seat, there’s an aisle, and there were people standing there to look at the view, so it’s not worth paying extra to secure one.

Despite having so many people, there was only one shared restroom, and it was extremely dirty.
