On a beautifully clear day, we set sail feeling great. At first, we were just swaying gently on the boat, but once we got out to sea, we were able to see sea turtles and got splashed by the waves (it wasn't much of a problem since we brought raincoats), and it was so much fun. Both my 3-year-old and 7-year-old enjoyed it together.

On the way back, the weather was so nice, with a pleasant breeze and the comfortable rocking of the boat, that I almost dozed off. The kids, who don't understand English, eagerly asked, "What are they talking about?" but when I translated it as "If you study English, you'll understand," they seemed to enjoy it.

Many activities in Hawaii can be quite expensive, but this one was about $70 for four people, we got to see sea turtles, and we had a lovely sailing experience, so it was really great. I was torn between this and a submarine tour, but I made the right choice. I will definitely do it again!

We had a wonderful quick trip on the water with a crew that became fast friends. The skipper had all the right jokes and jabs to make you feel like you had sailed with him many times before. And the rest of the crew were as friendly as you could wish for. A cocktail cruise fit my bill perfectly. So tip big these guys deserve it!!!

We participated with a 3 PM reservation, and we were the only two Japanese people there. The pre-briefing was in English only, but I somehow understood how to put on the life-saving equipment, so I had no worries at all. It felt great to be in a foreign country. Alcohol was available for purchase (beer, cocktails). We turned back just past Diamond Head and stopped off the coast of Honolulu to enjoy jumping off the boat before returning. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't think we would be able to jump in, but I had a wonderful time relaxing and taking it easy. The boat was larger than I expected, so I didn't feel any rocking. The price was reasonable and I highly recommend it (US$56 for two). The whole experience, from departure to return, took about 1 hour and 30 minutes. How about you all?

I had a great time on this trip. We were running a bit late due to a road being closed,but that didn't seem to be an issue. I liked that they called to confirm that we were still coming. The crew was great and pretty much left us to just enjoy the ride after they went through safety and other useful instructions.

We went out a decent ways but not too far out to hit the really rough waters (granted I like big waves so I would have been fine with the rougher waters). If there was any interesting wild life, they pointed it out so everyone could see.There's a drink bar. I didn't really use this for anything beyond soda. I did buy one of their cups and still think it was worth it. It's a useful cup. As for space on the boat, there was never an issue with not having enough room to look out over the railing.

Things my husband and I enjoyed about the trip:
> The view - it was quite beautiful
> The fact that it was simple - we really didn't want to do a dinner cruise or be out on a giant boat. All we wanted was to get out on the water and enjoy the view and this was absolutely perfect for that.
> Meeting new people - we had several good conversations with the people on the boat. I rather enjoyed this and it made the trip that much better.
> Sitting on the netting - it was really neat to watch the water through the netting (also comfortable to sit on)

Over all it was a very excellent experience and was exactly what we wanted. I would have been happy spending all day out on the boat. If I ever end back up in the area, I would use them again.

It seemed like the crew was bored to be there with us, they had no enthusiasm whatsoever. We paid $70/each for this cruise and did not even get to take a swim break. The 1st mate was the only one that would talk with us and that was only when we asked questions. The forward sail was torn and tatered, otherwise the boat was clean.
We were told we could leave items below deck so we would not get them wet. My wife left her shorts below and when we left she realized her lipstick and hand lotion had been taken out of her pocket. We could not beleive someone would steal personal items of no value. Unbelievalbe. Change the crew out find people that are excited to be there and care about your customers.

My daughter is at the age where she can travel, so this year I took my first solo trip to Hawaii. Since a sunset dinner cruise was a regular activity with my daughter, I looked for a cruise that I could enjoy alone and found the Mai Tai Catamaran Cruise. Staying at the Sheraton Waikiki made the meeting place convenient, and I was satisfied with the reasonable price. Among the approximately 30 passengers, there were only a few Japanese, including myself and an older couple, while there were two Korean girls. As expected, the Western guests seemed to really enjoy the cruising experience. You can also order Mai Tais, beer, and soft drinks for an additional fee. This gets any star at all because we enjoyed the water and the sailboat. The ad for it is a total scam. It should say "come aboard our sailboat and let Mother Nature wave you around for exactly one hour and forty five minutes. ". It is a misleading ad as it says they have spared no cost in treating us to a lux cruise on board with Bose sound and large screen tv. Really? I think I may have heard a radio and who wants a tv anyway so why advertise it. They give you a drink ticket and when hmm husband ordered a Heineken she passed him some crappy off brand can. The Heineken was only available for purchase once you redeem your free ticket. The ad also talks about wildlife and don't really count on any. It is not a cruise to a specific place where there are known sea life. So, two stars one for the boat even tho the sail had a big rip in it and one star for the crew who showed us how to use a life jacket. The rest of it is the beautiful nature of the water which all of the scammers are taking advantage of as they steal tourists money.

I had seen the catamaran at the beach for a while. Since I was traveling alone this time, I hesitated a bit, but I'm glad I participated! I had a great time!

There were no dolphins, but I encountered a honu! It was just floating around, and I was thrilled!

During the cruising, I wasn't exactly near the net, but I got pretty wet, haha. The weather was nice, so I dried off quickly and got a nice tan. I enjoyed cruising while sipping on a $5 Mai Tai. Next time, I’ll have fun splashing around near the net with my friends!

The weather was really nice, and the view of Diamond Head and the town of Waikiki from the boat was beautiful and impressive. Check-in started about 15 minutes before, and before boarding, they took group photos in front of the boat, which were sold for $13 or $15 after we got off. The photos were really good, so I purchased one. I participated in the tour at 1 PM, and the captain mentioned that the morning tour saw sea turtles, but we didn't see any turtles; however, we were able to see dolphins. When we spotted the dolphins, the captain chased after them, and it was a lot of fun. There were foreign girls lying on the net at the front, and everyone seemed relaxed. There were two staff members at check-in and two crew members on the boat, but all the explanations were in English. I heard there is a restroom on the boat.

I participated in the 1:00 PM tour. A sailing trip for about an hour starting at 3:30 PM. It's not often that you get to view Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the ocean, but participating in this sailing allows you to enjoy the land views from the sea. Since it's still early and the sun hasn't set yet, it's not a sunset cruise, but on a nice day, the breeze is truly pleasant. The catamaran-style boat doesn't rock too much, so it's comfortable. There are separate restrooms for men and women, so even though the sailing is only for an hour, there's no need to worry about that. This tour includes two drink vouchers in addition to the boarding fee. Both alcoholic and soft drinks are available, and there's a bar counter where cocktails can be made. I went out on the deck, enjoyed a draft beer while feeling the refreshing sea breeze and sun, and took in the view of Waikiki and Diamond Head right in front of me. It was a liberating sailing experience, and I plan to repeat it if I have the chance. For those who prefer not to be directly exposed to the wind and sun, there is also an indoor area where you can enjoy the scenery. The boat itself feels very clean and new. Although the sailing time is short at one hour, I thought it was still quite enjoyable.

We participated as a couple. We followed the recommendation to join in the afternoon of our arrival day. We were exhausted from the flight, so I wanted to rest a bit at the hotel and have lunch before joining, but there wasn't enough time. We ended up checking in, changing clothes, and hurriedly heading to the meeting place. On the way, I regretted not doing it the next day, but once we got on the boat and out to sea, all those thoughts disappeared! そしていよいよ乗船！
キレイな海、景色、心地よい風が吹きとても気持ちよかったです。
ただ、日差しが強いので上着、もしくはバスタオルぐらいの大きさのタオルはあったほうがいいと思います。あつくて痛いです。
ネットのところに行きたかったのですが誰も行かず行きづらかったので残念ながら行きませんでした。沖にでると波も静かなので濡れることはなかったですが浅瀬に近づくと波が高くなり足元は少々濡れました。
水平線やワイキキの街並み、ダイヤモンドヘッドを一望でき景色が最高でしたね！
ウミガメも見れました。
とてもいい体験が出来ました。
夕方出発はサンセットが見れるそうで今度は夕方にのってみたいと思います！

波がなく普通のヨットセーリングでした。
自然相手なのでしょうがないかなと思います。

This is my fourth time in Hawaii. Each time, I sign up for a sunset cruise, and this May I experienced a 5-star cruise, so I wanted to experience the daytime ocean as well and signed up this time.
