I have participated in large ship cruises before, but this cruise was incredibly pleasant, allowing me to truly feel the Hawaiian sea, and it was the best. I spent almost the entire two-hour cruise at the front of the ship, enjoying delicious beer. The staff later went trolling. Occasionally, they catch tuna or mahi-mahi. Although nothing was caught that day, I was able to see flying fish skimming just above the surface of the water. This time, I was able to participate at a very low price due to a campaign, but I believe it would be worth it even at the regular price.

I had heard rumors about it, but the boat ride out to sea is quite bumpy, so it's better not to eat right before. There was an American woman who looked like she was in a "salted greens" state. I think this ride might be a bit hard for children under elementary school age. However, the view from offshore Waikiki is amazing, so I definitely encourage you to be in good shape and give it a try. Bringing your own camera or video for filming is not allowed (or rather, it's difficult due to the rocking), but if you ask, they will film one roll for $15 and give it to you at the end. This will be a nice keepsake!

Yachts can really pick up speed, can't they? As a first-timer, I was pleasantly surprised. Along the way, I spotted a few dolphins, and flying fish were jumping around constantly. Although there was no shuttle service included, the check-in location was easy to find, which was great. Light snacks were provided, and it was a good decision to participate without having breakfast. On the deck, the splashes were quite intense, so it would have been better to wear clothes that could get wet. This was an activity I definitely want to participate in again next time.

ヨットってとてもスピードがでるのですね。初参加で知らなくって、嬉しい驚きでした。途中、イルカも少し見えたし、飛び魚は常時はねていました。送迎の無いプランでしたが、チェックイン場所は分かりやすかったので良かったです。軽食もついていて、朝食抜きで参加して正解でした。デッキでは、水しぶきがすごいので、濡れても良い服装で参加したほうが良かったです。次回も是非参加したいアクティビティーでした。

When you think of Hawaii, you might expect a lot of optional tours. Our family planned to enjoy Hawaii this time without any extras. We decided to participate in a tour after seeing some information about ALAN, mainly because it was affordable and included a simple breakfast that you could enjoy by the sea. Since we rented a car, we parked for free right in front of the Ward Warehouse and headed to the cruiser. Hoping there wouldn't be too many Japanese people, we boarded the boat and found that our family was the only one. Although there were some waves at the time, the large yacht was very stable. I participated in a members-only experience tour. Since light snacks were included, I joined without breakfast. There were several types of bread and fruits available. My family was the only Japanese participants, and there were no explanations in Japanese, but it wasn't a problem. The water splashes were quite intense, so it's best to be prepared to get wet if you're at the front of the deck. We experienced parasailing for the first time as a family of four, with a standard course of about 150 meters, which was more than enough for beginners. My wife and our two children (ages 6 and 9) loved it; it was thrilling, refreshing, and offered a fantastic view of Waikiki from above. I highly recommend this tour. The kids were so excited, saying they wanted to do it again and would definitely participate next time! Seeing their joy made me promise the whole family that we would join again. In our case, we were picked up around 10:30, took turns boarding the boat, and each group experienced about 15 minutes. Our family went up together into the bright blue sky, and we were dropped off at the hotel around 12:30.

I definitely encourage you to give it a try!

少し風があるなか、家族４人で初のパラセイルを体験しました。スタンダードコースの約１５０Ｍでしたが初心者には充分でした。妻・子供２人（６歳と９歳）とも大好評で、スリル満点・全身に受ける爽快感・空から眺めるワイキキの街、絶対にお勧めのツアーでした。子供たちは、もっとやりたい、絶対にまた来たとき時にはやる~！など、こんなに喜んでいる様子を見ていると、また必ず参加することを家族みんなに約束しました。私たちの場合、１０時半ごろピックアップしてもらい、順番にボートに乗り込み、各組約１５分程度体験し。私たち家族は４人一緒に真っ青な空へ・・・・ホテルに送り届けてくれたのが約１２時半ごろでした。

I participated with my child (elementary school student). The comments included many words like "fun" and "getting dizzy," which made me a bit anxious about boarding, but it was nothing like that! The boat, splashing water and moving at an incredible speed, made my child very happy. For those who haven't experienced it yet, I highly recommend trying it out. It's worth the money. The fruits and pastries provided were also delicious, and we had a great time. The two hours flew by. I would love to do it again.

I signed up for Alan's campaign and participated in the sunset cruising on July 31. The Makani was a much more beautiful and lovely ship than I had imagined. Additionally, there were only ten guests on board, including my family of four, so the kids ran around excitedly and enjoyed a lot of delicious food at a price of just $7.77, which felt like a steal for such a wonderful time. Unfortunately, there were too many clouds, so we couldn't see the sunset, but it felt great to be on the bow of the yacht, feeling the wind as we sped along. I highly recommend that everyone give it a try. You can experience a different kind of pleasure compared to the Star of Honolulu or the Navatek dinner cruises.

I participated in a catamaran cruising on July 30. Since I've been to Hawaii many times, I decided to try something I had never done before and signed up for the cruising. It departed from Kewalo Basin, right next to Ala Moana Beach, which was convenient and close to Waikiki. The captain was a very gentlemanly person who spoke Japanese well, and the crew was incredibly stylish and friendly. The weather was perfect, with a bright blue sky and sea, making for a very pleasant cruising experience. Since it started at 10 AM, I had a light breakfast before going, but there were delicious Danish pastries, fruits, and drinks on board, so it would have been fine to go without breakfast. I heard that on the previous evening's cruise, they saw dolphins, so if the timing is right, you might encounter dolphins as well. I definitely want to participate in the sunset cruising next year.

7月30日にカタマランクルージングに参加してきました。ハワイは何度も行っているので今回は今までしたことのないことをしようとクルージングに申し込みました。アラモアナビーチのすぐ隣のケワロ湾から出港なのでワイキキからも近く便利でした。キャプテンは日本語の上手なとても紳士的な方でしたし、クルーもモデル張りに格好良くて皆さんとても親切でした。お天気も最高で空も海も真っ青で、とっても気持ち良いクルージングが出来ました。朝10時からでしたので軽く朝食をとってから行ったのですが船内でおいしいデニッシュパンと果物そして飲み物がありましたので朝食をとらずに行ってもＯＫでした。前の日の夕方のクルージングではイルカも見れたとの話を聞いたのでタイミングが良ければイルカにも遭遇できるみたいです。来年は是非サンセットクルージングに参加してみたいです。

I parked my car in the free parking space at Ala Moana Park Drive (Ala Moana Beach Park) to participate in the morning sailing. Since it was early in the morning, it's a good idea for those using rental cars to park here. There are paid parking spaces at Kewalo Basin, but it was convenient to have free parking within walking distance.

I was surprised by how well-maintained and large the catamaran was. I could only understand about half of the initial explanation, which was all in English, but they later provided explanations in Japanese as well.

For breakfast, there was a wide variety of bread and plenty of fruit. Juice was unlimited, but please note that carbonated drinks are charged extra. We were able to see dolphins for a long time, making it an activity that could easily be marketed as dolphin watching (it seems there’s a good chance of seeing dolphins).

From the sea, I enjoyed the beautiful blue ocean and the view of Waikiki. Please experience the sight of Diamond Head and the Waikiki hotels gradually getting closer as they appeared small from the ocean. This time, sailing on a catamaran allowed me to enjoy a refreshing feeling of moving with the wind, unlike on a large ship.

If I have the chance to come to Hawaii again, I would definitely like to participate again.

朝早いので、レンタカーを利用される方はここに止めるといいです。
ケワロ湾港内にも有料駐車スペースはありますが、無料で歩ける範囲でしたので便利です。

カタマランに乗り、まずはきれいに手入れされている事と大きい事に驚きました。
最初の説明は全て英語で半分ぐらいしか理解できませんでしたが、あとから日本語でも説明していただきました。

朝食はパンの種類が多く、フルーツも余るほどありました。ジュースは飲み放題ですが、炭酸の入ったものは有料ですのでご注意ください。
イルカを長い間見ることができたので、ドルフィンウォッチングのふれこみを入れても良いぐらいのアクティビティです。（かなりの確立でイルカを見ることができるそうです）

沖から青い海とワイキキの景色を堪能できました。
沖から小さく見えていたダイアモンドヘッドとワイキキのホテルがだんだん近づいてくる様を是非皆様も体験してください。
今回はカタマランヨットで、大きな船とは違い風とともに進む爽快な感じを味わう事ができました。

またハワイに来ることがあれば是非また参加したいと思いました。

I participated in the campaign morning cruise. I was surprised by the price, which included a meal of bread, fruit, and juice.

Sailing in high waves felt like a roller coaster, and some people might get seasick. (My daughter started to feel sick too, but when I had her sit near the bow and enjoy the scenery, the fun made her forget about the seasickness...) The wind was strong, and one participant's sandals were blown away and fell into the sea, so please do not leave your belongings outside. The bow area gets quite wet, so be careful with your clothing and belongings.

We were able to see dolphins multiple times, and while a few people spotted whales, we didn't notice them. I heard that sea turtles can also be seen, but we didn't see any this time.

The captain spoke Japanese very well, which made me feel at ease.

I was disappointed that there was no snorkeling available, as I thought there would be, but I believe it would have been perfect if snorkeling had been an option.

シュノーケルがあると思っていたのになかったのは残念でしたが、シュノーケルができたらパーフェクトだと思いました。

The Makani was new and well-maintained. Sailing out of Kailua Bay towards Diamond Head was truly exciting for our family, who were experiencing a yacht for the first time. The kids were thrilled at the front of the yacht. The blue sea and sky, along with the friendly staff, were fantastic! We definitely want to participate again on our next trip to Hawaii.

The Makani was very beautiful and the restrooms were clean. We were the only Japanese family, but there were staff members who understood Japanese, so we didn't feel inconvenienced. When the speed picked up, it felt like an amusement park ride! The kids enjoyed it too.
On the deck, you get splashed with water, so I think it's best to participate in swimwear.
I definitely want to join again when I visit Hawaii.

I had only experienced dinner cruises in Hawaii, but this time I participated with high expectations for a high-speed yacht. The friendly staff and their humorous interactions were enjoyable, but unfortunately, the waves got to me and I ended up feeling seasick and sleeping on the way back. Still, the ride there was very refreshing. It included drinks and donuts, and at just $7, it was a great deal. I would like to try it again when I go back to Hawaii.

On July 24th, my daughter (6th grade) and I participated in a sunset cruise. Out of about 20 participants, we were the only Japanese. The meal included three types of food and cookies. While there was still food left by the end, the cookies disappeared quickly. These cookies are delicious. The explanations during boarding were, of course, in English, but later the captain provided individual explanations. Just being on the boat was enjoyable. The view of Waikiki, Diamond Head, and the sunset from the ocean was wonderful. My daughter was able to take a commemorative photo at the driver's seat, and although she was initially nervous about the language barrier, as time went on, she seemed to be captivated by the charm of the boat. As we approached the end, she kept saying, "It's almost over..." I was happy to be able to talk with others on board using my limited English vocabulary. Since we participated in a campaign, I gave a small tip when we disembarked. On the way back, we took the bus to Waikiki from the bus stop right in front of us. Fortunately, the bus arrived quickly. I think it would be satisfying even at the regular price. I want to ride the Makani again!! The captain was wonderful too.

7/24に娘（小6）と二人でサンセットクルーズに参加しました。20名ほどの参加者のうち日本人は私たち二人だけ。食事は三種類とクッキー。最後まで食事類は残っていましたが、クッキーはすぐになくなってしまいました。このクッキーおいしいですよ。乗船時の説明ももちろん英語ですが、あとでキャプテンが個別に説明してくれました。ただ乗っているだけで楽しい。沖からみるワイキキ、ダイヤモンドヘッド、サンセット、とても素敵です。娘は運転席？で記念撮影もさせてもらい、最初は言葉が通じないことにナーバスになっていた娘も時間がたつにつれ、この船の魅力にとりつかれたようです。終わりが近づくころには「もう終わっちゃうの・・・・」を連発してました。私の単語連発の英語で乗船していた方とも話ができて、うれしくなっちゃいました。キャンペーンで参加したため、少しですが下船時にチップを渡しました。帰りは目の前のバス停からワイキキへ。タイミングよくすぐにバスもきました。通常価格でも満足できると思います。またマカニ号に乗りたい！！キャプテンも素敵です。

It was amazing! We decided to go for the extreme ride with the mindset of going higher. I wouldn't recommend it for those with a fear of heights, but if you're okay with it, the extreme option is definitely the way to go! They took us up so high that we were at the same level or even above the top of Diamond Head. It was just the best. But when I looked down, the boats looked like tiny dots. I was a bit scared, but I'm glad I did it. I really felt like a bird, and I think it's very romantic for couples.

The boat ride was also fun, and the staff took lots of pictures, so it became a great memory. It's close to Waikiki, so I highly recommend it!

最高でした！　どうせなら高く行こうというノリでエキストリームライドで。　高度恐怖症の方にはお勧めできませんが、全然大丈夫な方は絶対エキストリームがいいです！　どこまで行くのってくらい飛ばしてくれました。　ダイアモンドヘッドの頂上と目の高さが一緒かそれより上に行った時は、も~最高。　でも下を見たらボートが豆粒の大きさ。　チョッとビビッたけど、やって良かったです。　本当に鳥になった気分で、カップルにはとてもロマンチックでいいと思いますよ~。

ボートライドも面白かったですし、スタッフの方がたくさん写真を撮ってくれたのでいい思い出になりました。　ワイキキにも近いし、お勧めですよ~！

Since there was no shuttle service, I took the bus to the meeting point, but the park is quite large, so I got a little lost. I think it would have been helpful to have information about the nearest bus stop.

あまりに安いので、このように親切な現地スタッフの方々の生活に支障をきたしはしないかと少し心配です。

I was looking forward to participating in the morning on my return day, but unfortunately, the pickup time was moved up, and I couldn't board. I requested to cancel the regular reservation over the phone out of a total of two reservations made through a campaign and two regular ones.

I joined this tour at the invitation of a friend, and before going, I was worried about getting seasick. There were no Japanese staff members, but I felt reassured as they explained everything properly in Japanese.
The breakfast and light snacks were plentiful, with a great variety of bread and plenty of fruits, which made me very satisfied!
We went quite far out, and the ride there was pretty bumpy (depending on the wind strength)....
On the way back, we could enjoy a leisurely cruise. However, depending on where you stand, you might get splashed by the waves.
I was told we might see dolphins, but unfortunately, we didn't see any this time.
The boarding point is just a short walk from the bus stop, making it easy to enjoy the cruise.

The captain and the crew didn't speak any Japanese, so I boarded the ship feeling a bit anxious. However, the captain could speak broken Japanese and was kind and fun, which put me at ease. He let me take the helm and even took a commemorative photo with me. It became a great memory, and I was really happy about it.

The cruise itself was truly wonderful. At first, we enjoyed a thrilling ride with splashing waves, which I recommend for those looking for excitement. If you don't like scary experiences, you can stay inside the ship's cabin without any worries. As the sun began to set, we all admired the beautiful sunset together. During our trip, the participants were only couples, so the atmosphere on the ship was fantastic (laughs).

I think group participation can also be fun, but I especially recommend it for couples. Lastly, if I could suggest something, I felt that the selection at the appetizer bar was a bit limited, so I would be happy if they could add a few more items.

私は、グループの参加とかも楽しいと思いますが、カップルの人達には、特にお勧めです。
最後に、希望を挙げるとしたら、オードブルバーの品目がちょっと少なかった気がするので、もう少し増やして貰えると嬉しいです。

I participated in the campaign today and just returned to my room. I arrived a bit late to the ticket booth due to traffic, and when I showed my voucher and apologized for being late, they told me there was still an hour left. I was surprised and listened to their explanation, which was that on Friday nights, the departure is delayed by an hour to watch the fireworks at Hilton. I checked my voucher thoroughly, but there was no mention of that anywhere. So, I killed an hour at the nearby Ward (this is why I deducted one star).

Once on board, there were no particular issues. The only other Japanese guests were my family and another family who had booked through ALAN and arrived an hour earlier. The staff were all friendly and pleasant. It seemed that there were no Japanese speakers at the ticket booth or on the ship today. The food was light snacks but tasted good (wrap sandwiches in soft tortillas, fried spring rolls, salad with pasta, and cookies). Drinks are free for up to two cups in exchange for tickets received during check-in. If you want more, you can order them for a fee.

Unfortunately, there were many clouds today, so we couldn't see a beautiful sunset, but the Hilton fireworks were clearly visible. The ship stopped at a good position until the fireworks ended, and then headed towards the shore, so we disembarked around 8:30 PM.

As for the rocking of the boat, I felt it was more than I expected. However, when I asked the staff about the conditions today, they said there was less rocking. チケットブースへの到着が渋滞で少し遅れてしまい、バウチャーを見せて遅くなってすいませんと謝るとまだ1時間あるとのこと。
え？と思い話を聞くと、金曜の夜はヒルトンの花火を見るために出港が1時間遅いとのこと。バウチャーの隅から隅まで目を通しましたがどこにもそれについては書いてません。仕方がないので向かいのワードで1時間時間をつぶしました。（これが☆を一つマイナスした理由です）
乗船後は特に問題はありませんでした。お客さんはうちともう一家族（ALANで申し込んだ方でした。この方も一時間前に到着。）だけが日本人でした。
スタッフはみなさんフレンドリーで感じのよい方ばかりでした。日本語の出来る方はチケットブース、船内どちらも今日はいなかったようです。食事は軽食ですが味はよかったです。（やわらかい皮のトルティーヤに包まれたラップサンド、揚げた春巻き、パスタの入ったサラダ、クッキー）飲み物はチェックインの手続きの時にもらうチケットと引き換えに2杯まで無料です。それ以上欲しかったら有料で注文できます。
本日は残念ながら雲が多くてきれいなサンセットは見られなかったのですが、ヒルトンの花火はよく見えました。花火が終わるまで調度良い位置で停船していてその後岸にむかったので船から降りたのが8時半頃になりました。
あと心配していた揺れですが、私の感想は思ったより揺れたでした。が、スタッフの人に今日の状況を聞いたところ揺れが少ないとのこと。酔い止めは飲んでおいたほうがいいかもしれません。我が家は私も子供二人も事前に飲んでおきましたので酔うことはありませんでした。
大型船の食事つきディナークルーズよりはこっちの方が楽しいと思いました。

I participated in this campaign. I was worried about transportation since I chose a plan without pick-up service, but I was able to walk from Honolulu to the location, and on the way back, even though I was concerned because the trolley ended early on Sunday, I walked to the Ala Moana Hotel and took a taxi from there, so it was totally fine.

As for the tour itself, my husband and I, who are not great with boats, were a bit nervous about the rough waves until we got out to sea, but once we were out and the boat stopped fighting the waves, we had a great time and ended up having fun on the deck. We could see the hotel district of Honolulu and Diamond Head all at once, and the blue ocean even had flying fish appearing occasionally—it was just wonderful! It was so enjoyable, and the light snacks were also very delicious. I definitely want to participate again when I go to Hawaii. If you're hesitating, I highly recommend joining!

今回キャンペーンで参加させていただきました。送迎なしのプランで行き帰りの交通手段が心配だったのですが、行きはホノルルから歩いて現地まで行けましたし、帰りも日曜日でトロリーが早めに終わってしまって心配でしたがアラモアナホテルまで歩いてそこからタクシーに乗れたので全然ＯＫでした。
肝心なツアーの内容ですが、船に弱い私たち夫婦は沖に出るまでの荒波に少々ビビリましたが、沖に出て船が波に逆らわなくなると楽しくて甲板に出てはしゃいでしまいました。とにかくホノルルのホテル街・ダイヤモンドヘッド等一望でき、青い海に時々飛び魚まで現れてくれてすばらしい！！の一言でした。こんなに楽しい上、軽食もとてもおいしくいただきました。またハワイに行ったら是非参加したいです。迷っている方は是非参加してみてください。

It was a participation through a campaign, but to be honest, it's definitely worth it even at the regular price. The small group yacht cruise made us feel very luxurious and rich. My children (ages 3 and 5) said it was the most fun out of all the tours we did this time. We took a lot of pictures on the sea, and it became a special memory for the kids. We were able to take many great photos that we can cherish forever.

キャンペーンでの参加でしたけど、はっきり言って、普通でもぜんぜんお得です。少人数でのヨットクルーズはとても贅沢でリッチな気分になれます。こども（３歳、５歳）も今回、いろいろ行ったツアーの中で一番面白かったと言ってます。海の上でたくさん写真を撮り、こどもたちには特別な記念となりました。ずっと大事にできるいい写真がたくさん撮れますよ。
